How To: Maintain Long Box Braids

Hey y'all, i hope all is well if you have long hair that it's not yours, but you purchase it. This song goes up to you long hair, don't care long, hair, don't care, even though it's not mine, long hair, don't know we're back on earth, as you guys could see. I have new braids on um this braid. I had it exactly it's about it's about to be two weeks, but it's not two weeks is yet um. It'S exactly the same braid that i use for my senegal twist. If you guys want to know how senegalese look, i'm gon na post the link somewhere here - and you guys can check it out the only difference without this and the senegal twist, this is a lot smaller compared to the senegal twist. It'S not twist, it's brave and the part a lot smaller compared to the senegal twist and, as you guys can see, the senegal tweet was a lot longer compared to this one um, but i use exactly the same brace, which is called expressions um. It took me enough about 39 hours to do it. Luckily, i was off from work, so i was able to take like break between um the ants i dip it into hot water, so they could lock up because i didn't want to burn them because burning them. It kind of stocks get stuck in your clothing, which is really irritating so yeah um, there's not really much. I do with it uh. Obviously i style it very very if you guys want to see how long it is, i'm just gon na turn for you. So this is how long it is very long but yeah uh. I like this braid, because i could do so much so much style with it. I could put it up in a bun. I could put it on the sky. I could summer style. You could wait if you guys want to actually see how i kind of style it. You guys, can check out my winter lookbook, which i'm gon na post it soon, but uh yeah, how i maintain it um. I sprayed this african cry product. I'M gon na get those to use with african pry products, it's very good uh for dry scalp. It prevents you from itchy scalp and at the same time it kind of moisturizes your your your scalp. This one have all the good ingredients into it. I just love it, so i sprayed this on my hair every day, uh before i go to work or whatever i spray this every day, and then i put my mixed oil, which is um jojoba oil, olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, uh grapeseed oil. All my mixed oil, i'm going to show you guys when i mix oil. It comes in this container okay, so this is how i really hot six oil into it. I added um, i added coconut oil into it. I put added uh shea butter into this. I added grapeseed and olive oil, but they have actually all the oil themselves, which some of the oil that they have. I'M not gon na read all of them because there's a lot, they have canola oil, they have three almond, they have vitamin d, vitamin a they have treaty, they have ginseng oil, they have. They have a lot of oil in here. So i just realized that they didn't have shea butter and coconut oil into it. So i didn't slay so every three days. I would spray this on my scalp and um. These are the only two products that i use. I haven't washed it yet, but uh i'm think i'm gon na watch it this weekend, but so far so good, no complaints, um. I know you're, probably wondering how's that hell. Does she tie this at night? It'S not really that complicated. I'M gon na show you guys. Okay, okay, so first thing: first um what you're gon na do all i do. I just slip it all back. I flip it all back just like that, and i divide it into two all i'll do is. I will twist one side just like that, takes two minutes guys, honestly, not that much of a big deal but yeah i'll twist it like this. It doesn't have to be neat or anything just just so you could go to sleep right. So i'll put it like this side and i'll take one of my clip-ons and i'll just tie it like that. So it stays, and i will tie this side like this and that's it this one. You wrap it the same way take another clip on and you flip it don't laugh at my head, it's secure, so it stays, and i have one of these hair thing that i bought at the hair store and it's very helpful. So what i do i start from the bottom, and i will wear it just like that. Okay, so at this point all i'm gon na do is i'm gon na go ahead and clip out the clip-ons pick off all the clip-ons? Oh my god, i'm so sorry. My battery died so pretty much after you remove the clip on the hair stays very secure, i'm not a crazy sleeper, so i'm actually fine until the next day, but uh. If you just want to be safe, i would advise you to just um. After putting that wrap as you're seeing your head, you could take any um hair tie, not hair tie. Sorry any hair wrap that you have around and you could just add it up and um. You should be fine until the next day, pretty much but uh. That'S pretty much it please comment rate subscribe.
