Hello, stranger, spin, missus realize it's a speak and of course I recorded a tutorial for you guys on my jumbo box. Braids and we're gon na be creating a DIY, whipped shea butter and I'm happy that I'm collaborating yet again with thrive market, because I'm gon na be putting you up on game on some high-grade high quality premium, hair care products girl, I'm about to change the game. Okay and it's super affordable and if you guys want to get up to sixty dollars of free hair care products, make sure you check out the description box, because you want to click on that link below, because you'll be able to shop. Some of my favorite items - and you save yourself some money so without further ado, let's get into it oh and make sure you subscribe girl. It'S Lynn, I'm going to be using the double boiling method to create our whipped shea butter and the first ingredient is the now foods shea butter, and this has a more solid form and a thicker consistency when you start out, so I'm gon na be placing it Into a Pyrex Bowl, which is sitting just above hot boiling water - and this is gon na - allow the consistency to loosen - and you guys are gon na - see me adding a number of different oils which are directly from thrive market and get this a lot of these Items that I'm gon na be adding are just under twelve dollars, though they might even be under ten dollars if super, affordable and thrive market offers a plethora of oils, essential oils and I'm even adding things like vegetable glycerin, aloe vera gel. I wanted this to be ultra hydrating, to you know really: aid in moisture retention, which is so important for overall hair growth and hair health. So do your research to figure out what essential oils will work best for your individual hair care needs. I'M going to stir this all together and then allow it to set at room temperature for about ten minutes, and then I'm going to cover it and place it in the freezer for about thirty minutes. But you don't want it to completely freeze or harden. And after about five minutes of sitting at room temperature, we're gon na mix it up starting on a low setting, because you want to have complete control over the mixture before you amp up the speed. Now you guys are gon na see that it's going to begin to look much like a buttercream frosting and it's gon na turn into this white, opaque, whipped consistency and you might be tempted to eat it, but don't and you guys are gon na look for the Peaks that sit at the very top just like this, unless you know that it has a perfect whit's consistency, so I'm just packing this into a food storage bag. Yep we're gon na keep it super simple and I'm trimming off the corner of the bag, because we're gon na pipe this into the very container that the shea butter came and talked about reusing recycling, we're right with thrive, market submission and plus things like this home. Really really important, so there you have it. It'S a prepare, my hair for jumble box braids. I like to detangle like super detangle, says, and then I'm gon na loose your eyes, my scalp, using jojoba oil and massage that in and then I'm gon na apply a heat, protectant working it from the ends of the hair, the oldest part of the hair. All the way up to the roots and I'm gon na add about a quarter size amount of the whipped shea butter that we just created and I'm going to saturate this on the ends of the hair and work it up the length of the hair as well. This is just my individual preference. I like to blow dry my hair on medium heat, to really work that whipped shea butter into the hair for maximum hydration. You guys can see my hair is absolutely loving, this stuff, my entire serious and I'm excited, but to get into the party. It'S been like five years on YouTube and I still really can't part cricket parts matter. So, let's make it fashion and I think the best way to kind of disguise the fact that I really can't part is to do things like triangular parts or trapezoid kind of shaped parts, and if you want to make it fashion and kind of make it look. Like less of a struggle, the use of beeswax and an edge control on the very edges of your section to make them more sleek and much more neat and use a comb to really distribute it and make it super slick down. If you're, using old-school rubber bands. Like I am just lubricate them with an oil, I use to hold the oil, and if your rubber bands are dry, they are going to break your head they're, going to snap your hair so set your rubber bands in oil. Thank me later and again, this is my second large or major part and we're gon na break that section down into smaller individual sections and again, I'm not fretting over the parting. I'M trying here do not put your rubber bands on super tight. You really cause tension across the entire head and you will feel it when it's time to install your braids, so be careful guys, don't make it too tight in the front of my head, where I can actually see my parting is on point. I really went off because I could see so I wanted to show you guys a close-up of each of the individual sections just in case you want to replicate. You know my little tragedy over here that looks kind of cute and I have 20 sections total, which I think it's perfect for this particular style and it won't be too heavy. So I'm using the Harlem 125 ez twin braid and a different variety of colors which I have listed below. But I love that this hair is pre, feathered, super beginner-friendly and now I'm adding whipped shea butter and the edge control to the length of my hair. And I'm using a section about this thick and I wanted to show you guys an overview of me installing the hair we're gon na break it down we're gon na get real into it, but I just wanted to give you guys an overview, so you can see The handwork, now again you want to add your whipped shea butter and your edge control to the ends and the length of the hair, and you want to comb out your hair just to make sure that, with these silky textures it's gon na, be you know, smooth And all the hairs are flowing in one direction. But when you attach that hair, you want to leave the easy twin braids around your natural hair, so that your natural hair is acting as a third section within the breed. And there are different ways to install jumbled box braids, but this happens to be my favorite and I think it's the most beginner-friendly and you want to pray down a little bit until you get a little way and you want to begin integrating a synthetic hair into The middle section, which has your natural hair and you want to take hair from both sides or both extremes of the braid, and you want to add more density to the middle section. So it's easier to braid down and it'll also be easier to tuck your natural hair and to disguise it, but I love that this particular hair has a gradient. So the transition is a lot more seamless and it looks way more realistic. In my opinion. Now I was using the color RT 33 before, but now I'm using the color RT 33 girl. The color on this hair is everything, and I really feel like my hair is super hydrated. It'S definitely thriving like when I tell you guys the bulk of my haircare. My oils, my creams, they come from fried and I've just started making my own hair products, which makes me feel damn good about myself. This last braid I was delirious, but I wanted to tell you guys make sure the way in which you orient your braids is the way in which you wanted to lay. So you are not putting excess tension on these scalp. I wanted this braid to lead to the side, so I braided it in the direction that I wanted it to lay, which is very, very important, and I want it to also give you guys more of a close-up on the process by which I integrate the hair. The process by which I integrate the synthetic hair into my natural hair so that I can continue to break it down and also how I took my natural hair fortunate summer, girls dead temperatures. I did have to redo some braids. You know when I went over and looked at everything, but because I only have 20 braids, it doesn't feel like a lot of work. You can get this done just the breeding in like two hours, the parting girl. It took me a few years, and this is how it's looking this hair is about 20 to 22 inches. It'S perfect. The length hits me just perfect and after all of this I had to get something on my scalp, so I'm using the my fluffy puffs regal 7 growth oil. In my hair. It'S rank it up. The scalp itches drank it up, but this particular hair texture. It'S a bit silkier, so you're gon na have to take your time and trim the excess hairs and the flyaways of the fries, especially towards the ends, don't skip this step. This creates a much neater definition of summer man and, of course, you want to hot water, set your hair to seal the ends. This creates a neater look and your braids will not unravel. So that's key and I went in to add some of the Giovanni mousse, which is also straight from thrive market. This is my favorite moves and then to decorate the hair, you know for festival season. You know curl Fest is coming up. I want to do these cute little accents, so I'm using hemp cord. It makes it look a little bit more fun and you can sometimes hide imperfections, and this is gold thread like when I say it's tiny pieces of thread that have like raveled several times to make. It look super thick because I'm extra I did that, but I'm also going to be adding and some hair jewels, which you guys will see and they're from it's gon na grow fat hair. I just love how this looks, but I'm showing you guys some behind the scenes of how I get ready for events or even things like the upcoming festivals. I take care of my skin, so I'm using the think baby sunscreen and the wrinkle oil, which I'm just trying and my skin has been loving it. But you guys know. I also take liquid collagen, which is also from thrive market calm, and I just want to show you guys a quick little makeup, getup just an overview just a little teaser. If you want the full tutorial. Let me know thank you so much for watching. I really missed you guys and definitely subscribe. Join the family. Only gets worse as the temps rise...I think Auntie Pink may have just solved it!!! Thanks for another great vid sis!!!

msshe77: I am so in love with you. I love your makeup. It always look so natural even with the bright color pops. Your hair styles seem so effortless. Anyone with a little time on their hands can do it. You havengiven me some inspiration on what i will do next with my hair. Unfortunately, I flat ironed my hair this summer and my hair wont kink back up. It literally looks like I permed my hair and now I can see the new growth. I dont want to do a big chop again because Im loving my length. (I have not allowed my hair to grow this long since my early teens) I dont like going to braid shops because I am that tender headed. So maybe if I diy it wont hurt so much. But these jumbos seem easier(minus the parting. I cant part either lol) than the crochets. So i think jumbos for the fall crochets for the winter and maybe my 4c will return. Thanks for the inspiration. Look forward to your next video

A W: Love the braids and your hair also really beautiful sis with or without makeup

Karman Brown: Slayyy!! Girl gone give us that full makeup tutorial sis!‍♀️‍♀️

Jerelle Joseph: Dope hair style! For the parting try using the actual teeth of the comb and not the tail. For the back the trick is to follow the comb with a finger ie use your finger on your other hand to glide along the part as you part with the comb. It gives you “eyes behind your head”. If you are not going straight the finger you are gliding along the part will give you a sense of that.

Paulette Jones: Love it!! Make up flawless

Elodia B: Definitely would love to see the makeup tutorial

Beautiful Natural Curls: Gorgeous as always

MsKitty: Hey Pink. Awesome video. What's your shelf life and storage with the whipped Shea butter. I see you use aloe vera gel. Do the water and oil separate ?
