This is going to be really tough for me, tried so many hair masks like omg. I just can't believe it is. Finally, here over the years, i've tested out and documented on camera, literally every single oleplex product under the sun number zero one, two three four, five, six and seven, and i think i've been waiting for a hair mask. No, let me correct that i've been bagging ever since the conditioner oplex number five came out and look what came in the mail today number eight bond, intense moisture mask which promises to moisturize, smooth, add body and shine. It is meant for all. Hair types contains the same patented technology that all oplex products have. Is it really that dreamy? We are going to be testing it out, of course, on camera today for the first time and we're gon na try to figure out if it actually works or not. Just by looking at this at a first glance, i already see a pro and a con. Let'S start with the not so good um the amount of product in here, just 100 ml or 3.3 fluid ounces of product in here. Why why i feel like that is something i keep complaining about with oplex products on average on most high-end hair masks you get like double that amount. What am i supposed to do with all of this now? That said, the packaging is actually genius. I mean who doesn't want this kind of pump. What i love about pumps is how practical they are also, there's no need for a spatula when you pick up products with your fingers directly like yours. Truly, i'm in the shower i'm in a hurry and where is the spatula nowhere to be found you are risking to you know somehow contaminate the product. Some people say you can even change the ph. So a pump really changes that and also it allows you to measure the quantity in a more accurate way, so, for instance, for this product you're supposed to use two pumps for shoulder length, hair a little bit more. If you have longer hair like i do, but before we move on into the actual application, let me just show you really quickly the before um my hair has been up in a bun for a couple of days: hey don't judge. Things are starting to close down here once again and there's like nowhere to go so yes, this is our before look at those ends. It'S like an old broom, okay. The first thing we need to do to shampoo my hair, and for that my friends, i am going to be using oplex and number four bond maintenance, shampoo other codes. Let'S do that really fast. Can you imagine if it was that easy? If i had to describe in one word, oplex number: four, it would be gentle, and that is all i'm going to say about this product today. Okay, so, like i said before, it says two pumps for shoulder length hair. So that means i need to use at least three right. Let'S um, maybe four two three four. I can already read all those comments saying that i use way too much product and you're right when you're right, you're right. Look at that. That'S like for half of my hair um. Okay, in all honesty, there's no way, i'm saturating my entire hair, which is four pumps. I think it's going to be four pumps on each side, because i still have all the side, but i'm like under boob length, hair. Four we'll see i'm gon na try like really rubbing my palm against each other and see if i can like get the most out of these four okay wow look at that. That is so cool. It'S like having multiple combs all in one. That is kind of genius. Let'S see how it works. I hope this is not some kind of limited edition. Pr thing very interesting to have so i'm gon na use this to comb through, and this is unexpected that is so nice, so i'm getting distracted by this tool. But the idea is that i'm combing through in order to spread oplex number eight evenly throughout my hair and help it detangle, while it has product on which tends to be slippery and the hair is a little bit less prone to breakage. If i do this, with my hair mask on it's going to be linked in the description box below for sure, because this is a really cool thing to have wow, i feel like. I need to do like a battle of the hair detangling brushes just having found this amazing comb makes this entire video with it. So i love that this is a very quick 10 minute mask and let's just go ahead and put it in a low bun, extensive list of ingredients, most of which i am completely unqualified. To judge, as you guys know, this channel is all about product performance. So my hair talks to me and tells me i like it, i just don't. I advise you to do the same if a product works, for you continue using it if a product doesn't just stop using it. However, one thing that is important is that this is not a silicone free product. In fact, the second ingredient is dimethicone. I'Ve actually been told a time and time again by hair care experts that silicones have come a really long way, and most of them are completely soluble when combined with certain other ingredients. The third ingredient is settle alcohol and there is avocado oil glycerin ceteral alcohol, which is also hydrating cannabis, sativa, hemp seed oil, a little bit of citric acid and a little bit of a multi-methicone, which is another silicone that is mostly recommended for bleach to hair, and I also like the fact that perfume is just at the very very bottom of the full ingredients list by the way it's so nice and gentle today, we're just using this on its own. However, for best results, it is advised to hear that you should be using it once a week following your oplex zero, and where is my number three and number three, so let me know in the comments below, if you'd like more of a full opex routine. On my next video one time is up: i'm gon na go ahead and rinse this out and uh we'll see what happens. I am back, so it not only rinse it off. You can see. My hair is starting to air dry, took a little bit longer than i expected to start filming after i rinsed a little plex number eight off my hair, and the reason is that my upstairs neighbors are renovating and they're being super super noisy, which of course, is To be expected, it's really bad news for a content creator, but the good news is that it gave me a little bit of time to show you kind of the air dried results. This is a very lightweight type of mask and it it's going to be perfect for anyone with really thin hair that same texture and formulation just makes it super easy to rinse out considering how crazy my hair, typically air dries the unruly wavy and frizzy. This is actually looking quite good. You know for my natural texture, so i do see some of that smoothing do notice that the ends are a lot softer. Hair does feel a little bit more moisturized than our starting point. So i guess i'm gon na give it like a four out of five when it comes to hydration. However, i do wonder if that will change when i blow dry, my hair later in this video, i don't know, stay tuned. Of course, i did not see tons of tangles because when i had the product on, i went in with this amazing comb. I can see on some areas that i could have had a little bit of trouble and i not used this as i was applying the mask. I could be wrong, but detangling is probably not the mask's biggest strength um. That said, it's not mentioned in the claims whatsoever give it maybe a 3.5 out of 5 when it comes to detangling, wonder if i can just get away with not even blow drying my hair that much you guys know. I hate the way my hair air dries. I am so impressed, so i feel that there's certainly something that this mask is doing for me that my hair really needed all right. Let'S just go ahead and add just a tiny bit of oplex number seven bonding oil. This is going to help heat protect my hair, i'm doing with like the tiniest amount. I realized that we are testing old box number eight after all, but i do need to protect my hair wow. Look at that really tames. My hair yeah together they're. Definitely giving me a controlled wavy look. I know yes, i'm gon na blow dry using my elhim 3900 and my olivia garden nanothermic brush and we'll see how that looks, wow that feels very soft there's something that was heat activated in that formula. I wish i knew. Let'S continue see if i change my mind wow this feels beautiful bueno. Look at that shine. I think it's safe to say we can give this five stars out of five when it comes to shine. Let'S just go ahead and style, my top layer a little bit more hold on. You know what this reminds me of slightly um, the joyco k-pop. This looks and feels fantastic and smooth like smooth look at this. I wish the ends were slightly more hydrated, i mean so much better if you're looking for smoothness and shine without losing volume. For sure this is a great alternative and to think that we have the added benefit of having some of the bonding technology to repair damaged, hair, it's kind of a no-brainer. It'S a really good mask if you like, like super rich extra thick masks. I think that for those people this is not going to be enough. Maybe they will release like a thicker version. Then again, i've learned today that you can get super amazing, smooth, anti-freeze results without having all that weight. That goes with a richer hair mask in a way, it makes sense that it is lightweight and not as rich, because it is just one step in a much larger routine. It'S been incredibly easy to get this very straight. Look, you know it can be tricky when i let my hair air dry and it becomes also wavy when i try to blow dry and achieve that straighter more polished style usually take a little bit more effort than if i hadn't, i think olaplex has done it Again, i think the only two cons are it's super expensive for the tiny amount of product you're getting in there. The other con is that it doesn't have that buttery feel when you detangle your hair. So i feel that combing, through step after you apply the product, is really important and necessary other than that, i'm totally going to give this a thumbs up. In my opinion, it's absolutely worth a try and let me tell you something: i just cannot wait to test out the entire at-home routines at my age to have this length of very bleached hair and using as much heat as i do. I think obliques has everything to do with the fact that it still looks pretty healthy, and that is it for today guys. I truly hope that this video helped you in some way, or at least that it entertained you that you enjoyed hanging out with me here today. A couple tips that may help your viewers No.8 is unlike other conditioning masks as it is made to fully penetrate into the hair shaft and it wont sit on top of the hair like traditional masks so less truly is more even for extremely thick hair 3-4 pumps from mids lengths to ends then combed/worked through should still give you maximum hydration. We hopes this helps!

I love knowing that in one night I can pack in a powerful reparative punch once a week! This time I’m gonna stick to only the Olaplex brand line to give it all the best chance to actually see what my results are after using only their products. But I think your review here is going to make me tweak this a bit and then next time I think I’m going to add a bit of my favorite deep conditioner to #8 to hopefully get my final result looking and feeling really extra fabulous! Reli Arras: I have used it twice now and my hair really likes it. Certainly my hair feel smoother and more moisturised. I use first the no 3 and then follow up with the no 8. I keep both on for 30 minutes at least.

Tracy: One of the most detangling mask i tried recently is the power mask from Lushs curl line. The tangles melted away. With the smallest amount. I never had a mask do that so well. I want to try the rest in the curls line. Especially the Glory mask. It’s more for moisture than protein like the Power. Aussie 3 min Miracle mask is pretty good for the 6-8 USD price tag and you get a lot.

Inalso used no 6 and no 7 to finish it off and oh my my dry damaged hair felt like freaking silk! It changed the quality if my hair so much! Thanks to your tutorial, I'll be trying it today. I'll say YES, PLEASE to doing a full Olaplex routine that includes the mask and YES-YES-PLEASE to the battle of the detangling brushes. This one seems a lot gentler than the tangle teaser (I didn't see you pull out any hair from it, so it seems to be a good sign) (in my humble and unrequested opinion: throw it out, already!! Hahaha!!). I think it wouldn't hurt keeping the little pump plug even if the bottle has a protective cap; it may prevent the product from eventually clogging the tip. Your air-dried hair doesn't look bad at all! It gives you a romantic air. So if your hairdryer unexpectedly dies, don't panic, OK? I loved your "under-boob-length hair" definition for hair length. Go, Lady Godiva!! (LOL). I think you were very gracious about the neighbors' construction noises. And before I finish this lengthy rambling, I'll ask you to please do a hair-towel tutorial (the third I'm requesting here) of the VOLO Hero Microfiber anti-frizz hair towel. This is a new generation of microfiber hair towels that are superior in performance (and in price, alas!) compared to - for example - the original Turbie Twist, which I've had for years now - and the difference is undeniable. (Spanish) Heidy, este tutorial me vino como anillo al dedo. Compré la máscara hace un par de semanas en el Website de Sephora y estaba preguntándome exactamente cómo usarla. Gracias a tus instrucciones, voy a probarlo hoy mismo. Pienso que sería bueno no desechar el taponcito; aunque la botella tiene tapa, el taponcito podría evitar que el producto se secara en la boquilla eventualmente. cessiahc: Lovely as always! Thank you! I wonder why you didn't use the no. 6? But so helpful I will definitely be adding this mask! I use the no. 3, 6,7 but definitely needed more hydration. The mask? I tried the K18 for 6 washes and the best. As for cost, it totals about the same as Olaplex & a great mask. But you can't compare the two. And like food I think the hair needs a good variation. Thus both Olaplex and k18 alternating seem to me the best of the best. My pros & cons; Olaplex takes more time & steps compared to k18. But both are excellent. K18- shampoo, k18, wait 7 Minutes & done. It says at least 4min but I leave it on at least 7min before continuing with other styling products. I use moroccan styling when using k18. And Olaplex 3,6,7 alternatively. Still on a lookout for the best shampoo when I use k18. The Bumble bumble bond Repair is great but still looking. Didn't think shampoo really matter but heard and see that it does. Would love to see the whole Olaplex routine and hear your thoughts on which products are a must and which are optional I'm your opinion. Also if you could do a typical week hair routine? Great to see how you decide on what you need for any given day! Your hair looks fab. But I for one do not want to buy all the products you try & also too much to think about. For me 3 lines would be max. So far 2 down. That's not to say I wouldn't try more but 3 at a time. Too much stock! Keke. Xoxo

Gina 463: I don't mind silicones in my haircare products, I try not to buy products with a high concentration of silicones or silicones high on the list verses the nourishing ingredients. With that being said, I watched your videos on Olaplex (all your videos lol) and I read reviews on Olaplex, through the internet. I watched your Olaplex 8 video, I have couple questions, Do you believe since Olaplex has a high silicones concentration in their ingredients, silicones are actually doing the most work by coating the hair and making it soft? Also, Since silicones or high in concentration do you think the nourishing ingredients can penetrate the hair through all the silicones used in Olaplex? Makes me curious about the Olaplex line. Makes me go hmmm lol. Thanks for another great video.

Kae-Toya Lee: Sorry to hear that you guys are going into lockdown again. When I heard about this hair mask, I was excited then when I saw the 100ml size. I was not convinced. Olaplex is taking us customers for fools with that size. The Briogio don't repair hair mask is double that amount for the same price here in the UK. So I would buy that and keep using my Olaplex no 3.

Abbie Roberts: That comb is popular amongst people with kinkier hair types (type 3c onwards). Not the olaplex version though. Just search for a EZ comb. It’ll be cheaper than olaplex. I was giggling the whole time you were using it.
Emma Stephens: The directions say 3 pum ps for long hair... it does not need to be saturated. You should just be able to feel the slip in your hair. This info comes directly from Olaplex. I work at the Wholesaler.

Can you make a video in which you summarize all of them in categories you like them and their cost benifit analysis too, as some of them were high end luxury and some were drugstore. Categories may be like: 1. Best frizz controlling mask for air dried hair 2. Best frizz controlling mask for blow dry or which is heat activating 3. Best keratin treatment mask, well they are all heat avtivating , sadly we don't have them for air drying 4. Best damage repairing mask which is thermally activating 5. Best damage repair which do not require thermal activation so we can use it anytime 6. Best moisturizing hair mask ( i don't know if they should have 1 category or 2) 7. Best hair mask for special occasions and events 8. Best hair mask for everyday use ( i guess we can have 2 categories in it) 9. Best silicone free hair mask 10. Best strengthening hair mask And any categories which you can think of❤ And if you do cost benifit analysis too for them, then we cam buy those in our bidget too I know its too long what i have written

SRC: There are enough preservatives and potent enough preservatives in hair products that you dont need to worry about contamination. Unless you pour some raw chicken juice into the container you are well covered....

The price for step 3 is kind of similar with Olaplex no3 but you get 200 ml of product. I really hope you would try it and see your thoughts. Ury Moscow: If you did one pump at a time you would be able to saturate your hair if you section it off in 4 sections. when you pump all four pumps at once you'll only apply it to one section. Thats how you use less product in your hair.
