I was going to change my entire hairstyle for this video because my second a twist out curls are messy, but I got lazy and I didn't I didn't want to do it anymore. I didn't feel like it. What is up guys, it's Sophie and today I'm going to be filming a summer, haircare video, all the products that I use, things to help grow your hair, different styles, the work. It'S all in this video. This video has been highly highly requested recently and also I'm leaving my hair out natural for the rest of August, so this is my summer haircare. Basically, so I just wanted to make a video about it. I also just wanted to like share. What'S been helping me grow my hair, because in the past two years my hair has grown tremendously like if we go from this picture to this picture 2015 and 2017, like my hair, has been growing with these products. My hair has been it's been going well, so I just wanted to like share with you guys what I do, and this is mainly going to be a product based video. But if you guys want me to make more videos, like my washroom teen different styles, that I do or just like a sit down video talking about how exactly like I grew my hair and what I did. Let me know in a downbar disclaimer. This video is mainly for people with 4c hair. If you don't have 4c hair and you hear about these products and you think that's will work for you by all means, go out and get them. But I don't want to tell you to use them and say that these will help grow your hair, because I honestly have no idea. I don't want to like promise. You like this will help grow your hair and then it doesn't so so yeah. That is basically it for this intro on they're excited for this video and without further ado. Let'S get into my summer haircare video and the products that I use. This curl is really getting bold like sis. What are you doing so recently me, my cousin, my cousins, mom and my mom all went to crow fest, it's really big festival in Brooklyn, and we got a bunch of products, a bunch of free products which I was really hype about. By the way, this video is not sponsored at all by any of the sponsors for crows fest. The only products that I'm gon na be talking about in this video are products that I've actually used, love and that have actually helped me one of the most basic styles that I do for my natural hair when I'm leaving it out for a while is a Twist out, this is a style that I have right now: two products that I use to get that look, the madam CJ Walker, defining butter cream and the hair rules leave-in conditioner. So I twist my hair using these products because moisture is so good for your hair. My hair gets dried out so quickly, so I always have to make sure that it's moisturized at all times, both my hair and my scalp was so great. They actually gave me a miniature one and a big one like these are the exact same thing. It'S the Jamaican black, castor one curl enhancing. This is really really good. I used to use the Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie. I still do use it. Sometimes, if I'm doing like a big puff, I use that to moisturize my entire head and I'm doing a twist, though these are my go-to a little tube products. It'S always good to have a hair spray, whether it be a hairspray that you got from the beauty, supply store or your own hair spray. So I have my own. So this is my own DIY, hair spray, it's mainly water and then I also put in some of this leave-in moisturizer, so water, some of the ex leave-in moisturizer, but you can use any wow this curls really getting bold with me. You can use any leave-in conditioner of your choosing, but I chose to use this one and then I also put in coconut oil tea tree oil. I use this Palmer's olive oil formula conditioning spray yeah I put in all of that shook it up and it is a very, very good, hair spray in the morning. I just spray it all over. My head, like these are second day twist out curls. So this morning what I did was I took this and I like shook out my hair and I sprayed it all over my head. So I like shook it up and then I was just good to go. I'M not that type of person that's going to spend hours on their hair like I can't sit down for a because mainly I don't have time to do that. I can't sit down in the morning for like an hour and do like this really intricate style. Like no I'm not about to do all that, another style that I do a lot are my two afro puffs, which I really really love, probably that's my favorite style to wear ever so. What I do is, after my twist out, has been in for about like three to four days, the twists or the curls start to fade away. So I just part my hair into a middle part and then do two puffs, and I just use this brush to do that. Two puffs. If you don't have a lot of hair - and you still want to do - that's out actually small, a pro puffs look really cute too, but if you want to mimic the style of big puff, because I like what I do puffs that are big. I just like that better. So if you want to sorry I'm reaching down on the ground to get a lot of things, if you don't have a lot of hair and you want to mimic big puffs, I'm what you're going to do when you put your puffs in. If you can take a pic, um I've and then just puff out your afro puffs pop out, your afro puffs pick out your afro puffs, and then they will look bigger because my hair isn't really that long like when I pull it out. It goes to here. So it's like basically shoulder length. So that's not that long, but when I put in my afro puffs they're, not small but they're, not as big as I would like them to be, so I just put them out for my scalp. I use my shoulders like just now: the olive oil Palmer's spray, the conditioning spray oil. I always use oil on my scalp. I know that some people like to use - I don't know like a moisturizer or like a Scott moisturizer or something I always use oil. I just feel like it works better. Another product that I always like to use is my gel, for whatever I'm doing like a slicked back hair style, I use the am pro pro styler. Also, this is good for edges. If you laying down your edges, I am trying out like different gels, like one of my friend Micah told me about gorilla snot, and I want to try that, but this has just been working for me. It'S practically empty now, like the thing is basically empty. So I'm gon na have to get another one soon, but yeah. If you haven't tried pro styler, you should get it. It works really low. Oh okay, another spray that really really works for me is the madam CJ Walker, curl, refresher mist. I also that system process. I would really introduce to Madame CJ Walker products after crow fest. I never used them for crofist and then after I tried out those products I was like ooh, including that they really work like they're, so good. So what I do for this um. This is just like a shine, refresher mist and it stops frizz, which is really good if you have like issues with frizz and not to mention it also just smells really good. So after, like a twist out or any type of style, that I do, I like to spray spritz my mist all over my hair, it makes it look shiny and nice, so I was talking before about how I use the curl enhancing smoothie to do my high Puff or just like to moisturize my entire head, but I know that some people don't really use Shea Moisture anymore. Actually, not some people like a lot of people um after something happened, was one of the commercials. I have no idea what it was. I like read into it a little bit, but I don't know this cool story, but a lot of people don't really use it anymore. Don'T really like Shea Moisture. They say that it doesn't work for them. So if you don't use Shea Moisture products, other products that you can use to moisturize your hair, the tgin then got its natural butter cream daily moisturizer. It'S basically the same exact being just a different company and different ingredients inside of it, but it has the same purpose, which is to moisturize and hydrate your hair. I do prefer the Shea Moisture curl enhancer over this, because this one for me brings out my curls a little bit more, which I like seeing then there's also the orth olive oil moisturizer. I do use it sometimes like it works really really well, when my favorite out of the three would probably need a curl enhancer, so I think that that's it for all the products that I use. That'S like basically what I use when I looma hair, I don't use them all every single day, but depending on which style I'm doing that day. I will use these products if you enjoyed this video, make sure to give it a thumbs up. If you try out any of these products and you like them, let me know what you think also, if you make the the DIY hair spray, let me know because it's been working for me, so let me know if it works for you to comment down below What hair products that you use, or some growing hair tips, any type of hair tips that can help people that are trying to grow their hair, any hair tips or product recommendations that you guys have leave them all in the downbar. I'Ll definitely use some of them because I'm always looking putting products to use so yeah. That is it for my video. Thank you all so so much for watching. I love you all very much, and I will see you this Saturday with another new video. I they only paid me for one week of work. They didn't pay me for two. So when I opened it, it was $ 200.
