Hello, everybody welcome back to my youtube channel. My name is k to those of you that are new to the channel and to those of you that are returning subscribers. Welcome. Welcome welcome. So i know if you're not saying - and i think i did you know like - i don't even want to get into it, because i don't have an excuse honestly but anyway, in this video we will be talking about, must have products for your wash days, especially in Winter um, i will tell you why i emphasize on winter a little bit later on in the video, but i will show you um all the products and i'll also link them down in the description box. So you guys know what are we doing this winter? For your hey all right guys without further ado, let's get right into it all right guys before i continue um. If you have watched my videos before you will know that i have spoken about my studio, which is my filming room having a bit um. It'S close to the main road. So if you hear cars in the background, i apologize in advance, i think it's peak hour and people are coming back from work anyway, but let's quickly get into the video, so i'm actually gon na speak about these products. Um in terms of like steps and how i use them and yeah when you start your wash day, you only start with shampoo, so you'll drink your hand, water, and you will shampoo your hair with a really good and clarifying shampoo, now um. This shampoo. This is the uh masodi shampoo. I don't know why my camera is not focusing we go. This is the shampoo from masori organics. It is the activated charcoal shampoo and i have done a review um of this specific shampoo in my previous video, because the masonic uh review uh video. I will link it somewhere up here um. So this is what i have been using, but if i want something a little bit more like clarifying um, let's say maybe i had like gels in my hair and i just want something to just really make sure i get all that dirt out um. I do use this um. I will show you guys another shampoo that i use after this one. I have spoken up the shampoo before i do. Use it a lot, i'm like there's that much left now, so it says opela, i love it, love it for winter. It does clean your hair cleans your scalp without leaving my hair feeling, crunchy, um and yeah. I love love, love this shampoo right. So the next shampoo that i do use sometimes is this tresemme one, the botanic range. This one has a little bit of sulfates in it, so you will notice if you wash your hair um it's clean, but it might feel slightly drier than if you're, using like a moisturizing shampoo, but i do like using it. I mean i've used it quite a bit now um. I use it after i've had like a week of like hectic styling in my hair, and i just want something: that's really really going to clean my hair properly. If i do use this, i usually follow up either with co-wash or deep conditioning treatment. That'S a lot thicker just to pack all that moisture back in the detangling butter is also quite good um to put that all that moisture back in if you want to detangle. So this is the second shampoo that i really really really like during winter. I know that we put a lot of stuff in our hair just to style it um. So i used that quite a bit now i'll be talking about deep conditioners, deep, conditioner, moisture treatment, moisture mask it's all the same thing. Okay, so don't be confused. If i say if i mention a deep conditioner, i'm speaking about a moisture treatment or moisture mask it's all the same thing, i use the terms interchangeable. The first one is this one from sheer moisture. I think i might have like spoken about this um moisture treatment on my channel before or maybe on instagram. I can't remember, but guys yo, i'm crazy about this moisture treatment like it is everything in terms of packing moisture into your hair. It does have jamaican black, castor oil, it has sheer butter, it has peppermint, i'm assuming it's peppermint oil and apple cider, vinegar. I am obsessed with the stuff. John. My mind is almost finished um. It used to come in a tub, so i don't know if they. I don't know if they still do the tub or they've. You know made this tube. I do find that just in terms of packaging, it's a lot harder because it is quite a thick deep conditioner. It is quite hard to squeeze everything out, so you really have to make a bit of an effort, so i found that the tubs were a little bit more efficient in terms of that, but in terms of how much moisture it packs into my hair, i'm literally Obsessed with it, i love love, love, love, love, love, love! This mask. I also love um, how much slip it has sorry to be dirty because i use it quite a bit um. I love how much slip it has so. Usually i detangle with this mask in my hair as well um. I love how my coils will be defined, and i know that i, if i use this, i know i don't even have to stress about like moisture for the rest of the week um until my next wash day. So i this stuff is my holy grail. I love love, love this stuff, all right, another, deep, conditioner or moisture mask that i will be speaking about. Is this one from banner natural? It is called the make me strong right, so this is another product that i have done a review about this one. I also use like crazy, like there's not much left, it's actually almost finished um. I use this quite quite quite a lot if you are looking for definition, if you are looking for just something to pack moisture into your hair um, this one doesn't have slips. So if you want to detangle, i think detangle after the 30 minute waiting period, because you will get you know, you will be able to detangle, but in terms of it like repairing the hair. If your hair is feeling like crunchy or lacking elasticity or packing, moisture in this is your go-to girl. I use this a lot, especially during winter. I find that my hair is a lot more receptive to it during winter, because when winter's like creeping in, my hair does funny things of like drying out. So i really just go to my deep conditioners that tried and tested that i know will you know, fix my hair up. I use both deep conditioners interchangeably um honestly, i have no reason to use one over the other. It just goes on how i'm feeling on the day and yeah honestly, and what maybe my hair needs on the day, but i use both interchangeably. So i don't want to give you guys. Um product overload, i'm not saying, go and buy all these products at the same time know that's what i'm saying, but what i'm saying is i'm speaking of maybe two different brands from each like product, so you guys can have variety and just know like what you Want to get so yeah, so this is also my go-to. It is the rhino natural make me strong and then once i have put on my deep conditioner, obviously you are going to need heat in order for the deep conditioners to penetrate the hair shaft properly. Some people will use steam. Some people use hooded dryers, but in this house we use heat cans. So i'm going to speak about both ephromar heat caps. This one is from zuri. This is the non-microwavable heat cap. I'Ve had this since 2020, but this design is brand new one of my favorite favorite ones, um, okay, so a lot of people are probably gon na. Ask what's the difference? Okay, so this one you don't put in the microwave um, but this one does create the greenhouse effect. So if you are someone that is currently sitting at home and you wear a plasticky and your dog or a beanie, you know um, it does get warm eventually. If you do that method, but it gets warm like after a period of time, so that's what this one does. A lot of i've received great feedback um about this product um. So it does get warm but not like instantly, so it might take about. Like 10 minutes for you to get, you know the the warmth i love it in winter. I always cover my ears with it so that, just because of like all that warmth, so love love, love this heat cap. If you do not have this, you can go purchase it um on the aphromoo website. I will put the handle here or see if i can put the link somewhere in the description box, so you guys can go purchase this, but we have also launched microwavable heat curves. So this is the black and white microwavable key cap from aphromoo this one. You pop in the microwave for about a minute or 90 seconds, which is a minute and a half um. So maybe do your 60 seconds like this in the microwave turn it inside out. Do your 60 seconds again like that in the microwave and you'll get the desired heat um. These are currently out of stock, but just please keep glued on both i mean on the effort of my website and my instagram page, and you will see when i have more in stock. These are warm instantly. The minute you take them out of the microwave the heat will last for about, like maybe 30 minutes um, which is sufficient for your um deep conditioner. But if you ask someone that wants to keep your moisture treatment in for longer, you can just reheat it. The same way um this one, your naked, you obviously don't have to reheat. You can keep it on for as long as you want this one, you will have to reheat cool. So then i'm going to speak about oils, yo, i'm running out. So this is my go-to light oil um. What'S going on there, we go that's my go-to light. Oil come combo thing, and this is also from banner natural. It has almond oil, it has shea butter, it has argan oil avocado oil, which are all light oils and a whole lot of other good stuff. I really have been enjoying this. This is probably my second bottle from uh vana and guys, like. I think i started using vana products in 2020. Two years later, i'm still just a staunch i'm obsessed with their products and their oils. I think they launched last year earlier this year. I can't remember, but this is my second bottle. I use my products guys. I think that's why, when my family comes here and they take my products, i'll always be like like what now but anyway. So this is what i use on my hair um as the o of my lco or my llc, with whatever you use. I do the loc method, um and then i've also been using these oils. This is the all-in-one from masori organics. This one has avocado oil, moringa oil, castor oil, hibiscus oil and coconut oil. This, i would say if you are someone that um is trying to maybe regrow their scalp or you're, trying to promote hair growth. Just you know all around um use this um, so i didn't use it to seal or did i i think i did use it to seal um? No, i did. I definitely used this to seal um about. Maybe i think it was two weeks ago. I used it to seal it works in winter because of the castor oil. I don't remember it being too heavy on my hair either, but um, because i think of the avocado oil, the hibiscus oil and all the other light oils she has in here. I don't remember it being too heavy because i am hesitant i'm using things that have castor oil on my hair. Just i think it's honestly just a fear of the castor oil weighing my hair down, but i did try and seal with this. I don't remember it weighing my hair down, it might be because it's winter and my hair just wants thicker butter, thicker oils um, but mostly i used it for my hairline for my bold patch and also like i said, if you are someone that's trying to promote Hair growth - you can use this on your scalp. I really really do love this oil um. I think it's been blended really well. I love the nozzle. I love you see, guys brands that know what they're doing all my oils have nozzles um and i'm obsessed with that, because it's easier for me to access my scalp um. If i need it for my scalp, so those are the oils from vana and masodi and then finally to seal. This is like sodium video. I don't know i'm just using black old brands. Y'All, i don't know hey anyway. I love them and yeah anyway. So this is my bata from banner natural. It is the everything but um. This is a mixture of shea butter and mango butter, and i have been using this for the past two years. As you can see, it is finished. It'S finished. I finished it like when i was with the lad before i left before i went back home, so this is ninish. I use it all the time i use it on my face. I use it on my body. I use it on my hair, but anyway, so in winter, thick half thick cup batters are the way to go um. If you are going to use creams, use creams that are very moisturizing and um, you can get away with using creams. In that way, i haven't used creams in a while. There is a cream that i'm trying out, but i can't speak about it. It sucks, but i can't wait to be able to talk about it because yeah like it's a game changer, but anyway um. That is one of the batters that i use during winter on my hair to seal all that moisture from wash day this, i think i spoke about it in my masodi organics product review, a video i might have, but i don't have one in hand, and now I have one in hand um, it is their whooped shea butter. I have also been using this for a very long time before my saudi had this packaging. They had this packaging, so this is just a coconut oil, but i've been using it for a very long time. I use this is also a product that i use on my body and my hair as well. This is a whipped cheer batter. So it's also really great to seal your hair with. I think it's been mixed very well. My hair absolutely just absorbs it quickly, just like the other one, the vana bata, so anyway, those are basically more or less um. All the products that i'm currently using on my hair for wash day, these are all your winter must-haves um in terms of just application and technique and all those things i will have to reshoot like a wash day, video or something for you guys, because things have Updated of it and yeah, so these are all the products that i do use during winter during winter, as you guys can see, i have what we call amangang or, but these are just like braids on my hair, i leave my hair like this um for most Of the week, unless i really have somewhere to go um that requires me to style my hair so that i don't i'm not always like, manipulating my hair or anything like that, and also it is very important to sleep with a certain dose fat and bonnets. Certain pillowcase that will avoid friction between your hair and a cotton pillowcase and and just avoiding your hair from drying guys it is winter, so hair will be drier than usual, be patient with your hair pack, your hair with moisture spray, your hair with water every day, Um use thicker, batters, thicker oils um, do you. This is the one season where you cannot be missing out on e-moisturized treatments like now. You have no excuse, you have to do your moisture treatments weekly or you really will be struggling with dry dry dry hair. You know so please, please, please guys um go out and you know if you are struggling or you just started your natural journey, your natural hair journey or you're in the middle of it. Please um do invest in your hair, don't be hard on yourself, be patient with yourself um some products that work for me might not work for you, the products that work for you might not work for me, but these are just some of the products that have Really been working with me for quite some time and i really do enjoy them on my hair. I use them, as you guys can see these, so most of these products are like either halfway like completely finished, so i would never leave you guys a straight so anyway. I really hope you guys did enjoy this video. Please do comment what other natural hair content you guys would like to see and i will be sure to deliver i'll, be sure to deliver and yeah um. I hope you guys did enjoy this video. Please don't forget to like share comment and subscribe. We are on road to 15k. Please share this. Video save it like keep going back to it when you go to clicks or discount or pick and pay or whatever do you wherever you do your shopping um, please just save it share it with your friends, your family um, so that people know what to get During winter for their hair anyway, i love you guys, lots and lots and thank you so much for being part of the k family.
