It seems that many of you want to style your hair and ask me questions about styling, your hair with no products and that's what we're talking about today. How to or actually can you style your hair and do i, as a professional suggest, styling your hair without any product? So let's firstly, talk about products in general. Clearly, yes, i have my own hair care product line which i'm very very proud of, and i stand behind them 100, as a professional. So to me, when i first got introduced to the salon industry - and i was you know - educating and uh myself and learning in school and out in the on the on a road and in salons, whatever education i was doing. I could not just listen hear me out on this. I could not achieve the hairstyles that i needed to achieve without using product as a professional, a trained individual learning how to cut hair and style hair. I was not able to achieve the styles that i needed to achieve without using any products without using products. So when people ask me salon guy, you know how to style, hair with no products, and you know what's the best way or how do i dry? My hair, with no heat, it's like how do you cook a chicken without an oven, or how do you cook it? You know what i mean it's like so to me. I don't know why. There'S this big fear about hair products, and you know styling tools and heat. Yes, obviously there are garbage hair products out there and there are hair products. Doesn'T matter really ingredients as much i mean yes, they're important, but like some of them just are awful. There'S a lot of bad products. I'Ve used many awful products from massive big hair care companies. You know, and you know sometimes, hair products will not get you the style you're, looking for simply because the product itself may suck all right. Let'S just be honest with you, it may not be the greatest product, but it seems that i want to ask you a question: why do you want to style your hair with no products? What is the issue with products find the right ones that you like, and that work for your hair, the key? It'S like needing a prescription. You need the right products for your hair style for your hair type, because you may have used something you don't like and all of a sudden you're like. Oh, i don't want to use products and how do i style my hair you're not going to be able? It'S like trying to gain muscle without having weights or without working out your body or your arms or whatever it is. You have to you know in order to get the right results, you need the tools. Okay, you need the fuel, you need all the resources whatever it is to achieve it. So when it comes to hairstyles right and how to achieve a hairstyle with no products now you can get a haircut okay, let's just say. For example, let's take this mannequin right here, all right and you get a haircut and your hair just always constantly falls in your face. Like this, you got a side part, it's always falling in your face. You may like that, and you may you may be like hey. You know what my hair is literally in perfect condition. It'S super super straight. It'S a nice. You know good healthy, thick, head of hair. There'S no frizz, it's silky smooth. I don't need to do anything to my hair. I don't need to put any products in my hair. It looks magical simply because of the haircut there you go, you don't need products, then good for you. You have to wash your hair right. Products. Shampoo and conditioner are technically a their products, so you need products for your hair, okay, so styling products, though you may not need them, and and if you are one of those individuals who is totally happy with the way their hair looks falling down in the face. Like this a side part constantly, just whatever it is, or you shave your head, like mine, you know yes, we're good candidates for not needing products, but that one time where you say you know what i'm so sick of my hair always falling flat. In my face, it never stays back. It'S almost like sell me. This pen write your name down. Well, i don't have a pen there you go, you need a pen, it's the same thing with product. If i said to you slick your hair back and let it stay back for like a good four or five hours, well, i don't. I don't have any products there. You go same philosophy. So, in order to achieve a specific hairstyle, you are going to need product right, you're, going to need a specific product designed to help you achieve what you're looking for. So the only way to style your hair without any sort of product is, if you here's another example, you have a haircut that you are a hundred percent happy with without needing any sort of hair product. Aside from shampoo and conditioner, you have to wash and condition your hair with no no way other way around it. You have to okay um, but if you have a haircut okay, that your hair texture, you love, you don't mind that it's frizzy, you don't mind that it's got curls and waves and if you're, okay, with your hair, naturally doing what it does, you don't need products. You have the right haircut. Products are always going to be beneficial for your hair, no matter what, but again, if you have that unique situation where you're just 100 cool, with whatever your hair, does there, you go okay, uh another situation, another another haircut is something like this. Where you know you've got super thick hair, but chances are. If you don't have any product, your hair is going to fall flat like this all the time this has tidal wave in it. I know for a fact i did a video on this. This has tidal, wave and tidal wave is, like our you know, number one selling product, it's an amazing product for uh, you know for styling and it turns into almost like a dry type shampoo if i didn't have tidal wave sprayed in the hair okay here it Is right here, if i didn't have this spray it in the hair, guess what it's going to fall flat if i had no product in it whatsoever, it's just going to and you're going to end up being, like i hate my hair you're gon na have to Always be brushing your hair out of your face, especially if you're trying to grow your hair longer. So you know my opinion. Products are always needed. Okay products are always needed. If you have a specific, you know style that you want in your hair all right now. Another cool thing this is this is the first time i'm announcing this. I have my own hair clips now: hair clips, okay uh. These are hair clips that now, when you're styling your hair, say, for example, you're styling, your hair you're blow drying your hair you're doing something to your hair and they come in a pack of six and it's twelve dollars all right for this pack of six. All right here here we go right here. So let's take one of the clips and i'm gon na show you how to go about using something like this. So what they are great for is they're great for sectioning off hair. So, let's just say: you're cutting your hair yourself. You open up the clip like this all right there. It is you open the clip up press down and it's gon na open, and then you can section use this lower clip right here to section off the hair and then what you do. Is you clip it? These are alligator clips. They are so strong that say, for example, you're trying to do an undercut you're trying to you know, style your hair center way, you're trying to just do something with your hair. You can then use these clips to keep the hair out of the way. This is what we use as professionals when we're cutting hair, but you can use this when you're blow drying hair. You can use this if you're cutting your hair yourself. You can use this when you're styling your hair, for example, and there you go. The reason i went with alligator clips to me is because they're the strongest i've used other clips in the past, like certain, like you know, like duckbill clips or metal clips or ones that don't have this power. They just they're okay. But to me these are the strongest hair clips, so these are now available at shop.thesalonguy.com. I'M super excited about these and i do have a variety of hair tools. If you're not interested in hair products, maybe you're interested in hair tools right a blow dryer. I saw a blow dryer brushes whatever it is, but i think that people need to stop being afraid and stop thinking that hair products are the worst thing for you. Yes again, there's products that aren't the greatest or they're, not really great for your hair type. That'S where you have to ask questions, you need to experiment and find out what's gon na be best for you. If you are interested in using any of my products use code, youtube20, that's youtube20 and right now, actually, until the end of this month we're doing a 30 off flash end of the year sale, uh and ends, i believe friday. So while you can you get an automatic 30 off at shop.thesalongai.com, which is which is, i think, really cool. So let me know if this video helped you thanks for watching and i'll see you soon.

Peter M: I’ve been styling my Ex wife’s hair for years without products

Gabriel Blanco: My mom bought me a hair iron for me because my hair is wavy and I wanted it to be straight, and she said that too much heat can damage my hair. I haven't found the right products, but after you explained that it's necessary for styling hair, I feel more confident

Legacyfilm: I've never used product in my hair. Perhaps it's an individual case but I can style my hair using no product at all. There is only one denominator for me and that is the way I wash my hair and dry it.

djcig15: I agree there are some really bad products out there; I've gotten more conscientious about what I use and I use your shampoo and conditioner all the time. I have wavy/curly hair and been somewhat experimenting with styling but I haven't really had a lot of luck. Part of my problem I think is my hair isn't long enough in some areas like my top/front fringe that is fine and not as thick. I need to maybe have my stylist help me some next time I get a trim.

Debra McCafferty: I’ve had clients tell me no products because their hair gets dirty faster with them. These are elderly ladies who shampoo less than younger people because their hair doesn’t get oily. It sure makes it hard for me to style!

Palafox223: I despise any product on my clean hair. I have a short pixie that I finger dry only. The problem is finding a stylist who can cut wavy thick hair without thinning shears. But a really great cut is the key to get away with no gunk.

МОИGRAALѾ: i feel like my hair looks better with no product and just air drying to style it the way i left it

becky c: Ive got anti sulphate products as i colour my hair its shaven at the moment i use no sulphate spray for straightners and no sulphate hair spray i use colorprotect and tres eme anti sulphate products.

Patrick Wolfe: I have to work in a clean room which requires no product in your hair, so I’m looking for ways to cut and style without product short of just shaving it all off.

Nadjib Cheikh: I have long wavy/curly hair... Am I happy with it? Kinda, Is there any products there that can help me achieve the look I want? Yes... The problem is not I'm afraid of using hair products, it's because I'm broke AF and I can not afford to buy a hair product for god sake

Mason Johnson: I've seen that product buildup is supposed to be bad or your hair. That's why I don't use product. I understand that you can shampoo the product out, but shampoo is also terrible for your hair apparently lol. I try to limit the amount of shampoo I use and using hair products would make that difficult.

Lucas Sivy: I get this hairstyle with only one product and I can do it without any.

Joan Petersen: I’m with you. You get what you pay for… People are lazy n don’t care what they look like.

Mohamed Walid: The thing is I don’t like to wash products out of my hair every day

Rainingbutter: Personally I don’t use product because I don’t know what products are good and what would damage.

kalosevillinas: Hair producta to make my wavy hair straight...straight up oiled the shit out of my hair...Too top it all off I work out at the gymn and just the sweat balloons up my hair..It is a vicious cycle...product to straigthen and working out equals washing almost everyday

Frizzy Red: Hi, why is there a lack of curly hair tutorials? Thick coarse curly locks will test the best stylists.

jake sheer: Can you make a Nils kuesel hair tutorial. Think it would be a great Tiktok haircut for you to do

România Countryball: Can you stile undercuts without products?

Anton Pang: Hey can you do a video on bakis haircut? I've got Asian hair and finding it extremely difficult to style

Leo.: Oil only because my hair is to thick or way to dense and is a pain when is complety dry after a shower for example

Rahil Qureshi: Can you do a video on the hairstyle of Nico Tortorella from season 2 of the show he’s on called Younger?

UFO for REAL: U provide treasure which u cannot posses

An Sh: Please show Benicio del Toro's haircut tutorial from 1995 usual suspects interview

Vatsal Sanwaria: I didn't knew the title of the video was "Why U Should Use Products" Fool of me to thaught this was about hairstyles with no product.

Lawrd: Not everyone can simply afford them, like me

Blxtsツ: Should I use sea salt spray

Ben :D: Wut kind of products are good for styling short hair, and is gatsby grunge mat any good?

ronit sanyal: Just don’t use shampoo

w8ndr: I don’t have a problem with product or heat I just don’t have enough time before school to use a blow dryer and product and whatever

Jon Murphy: Yes you use egg whites technically it's not a hair product LOL

Discade: my hair always drop when i use pomade or clay or gel

Dododeath: i dont want to use product because then id have to shampoo my hair which ruins the texture

Luca Moser: Can u make a simple tutoriel with this hair in the video?

NERF_MD: Can u please answer me:) , so im growing my hair and it's not soft at all it's so rough what do i do to get it soft

Jackson: wish i could order ur shampoo and conditioner to australia, shipping is expensive at the moment though

Dhruv: The way he kept the head nd kept the another one

ClutchGamer: only reason why i dont use products is cause i don't like the feeling of product in my hair

Spellz101: Perm=no product

Miki Gami: That hair style yourself don't need no product but being bald does not suit my head cause its not symmetrical

Adam Bogan: Water is my only hair product

V: I don’t want to use hair product cuz it might damage my hair and I would have to shower before bed or all the residue would go all over my pillow which prolly isn’t good for my skin

Jose jagroop: How to get a good slick back hairstyle

Pinemarten: I think water is really underrated.

Eli Evans: what product would I need to use to achieve logan pauls current hair?!

Colt -: I have really thick dry hair, it also tends to frizz a lot, do you have any advice to defeat frizziness

goatedbross: Haircut and Hairstyle.

Kriptic: I hate product bc it makes it stiff and I like touching my head idfk rlly.

hawk: Guys, do u think braids Will be a trend in 2022?

Kiki: Having had been a Hair-Designer for M-A-N-Y Year's, TOTALLY DIS-AGREE. It's ALL About Selling Product. $ $ $ (Billion Dollar Industry) THE CUT IS KEY. Product Make's Your Hair NOT Feel Clean.

BLUE GOAT: Noice....

GAME TIME:

FrankieVice80s: My issue is that our country sucks and the risk to buy an awful products is bigger

Mõhà Kíñğ:

tomas perilli: Julián Álvarez

tomas perilli: Julián Álvarez
