Happy autumn everyone! Since the holiday season is right around the corner, I thought that I would share how I style my hair (since I think that loose waves are just the perfect Pinterest hairstyle to wear all season long). I’ve gotten a ton of requests to do this video but felt like it was way too short to make, so I added in my favorite hair care products for caring for bleached hair as well. I hope you enjoy this video and that you find it helpful for caring for your own hair. Thanks for watching! ✖✖ Audrie

// ABOUT ME //

A little bit about me - I'm a content creator on Instagram, YouTube, and on my blog at AudrieStorme.com living in Orange County, California (originally from the San Francisco Bay Area). I started posting outfit of the day (OOTD) photos on Instagram about two years ago when I was living in Dallas, Texas for work. I loved taking photos and posting on Instagram so much that I decided to expand and try out YouTube and blogging as well.

When I was living in the city, my personal style was a bit more streetwear 90's grunge, but now that I live in Southern California and closer to the ocean, my style has become a lot more cozy and comfortable with a lot of bohemian influences.

If I had to describe my fashion sense on my blog, Instagram aesthetic, and YouTube editing style now, I'd probably describe it as modern bohemian with an edge, since I tend to wear and do things that might be considered unconventional to others. I'm not sure if that is true, but since I've moved back to California, I just find that I gravitate to what is easiest and effortless for me while living near the beach where it always feels like summer.

Thank you so much for stopping by my YouTube channel and I hope that you enjoy what you'll find here! I love fashion, beauty (especially hair styling and bohemian braids), DIY projects and how to videos, making travel diaries of all the places that I'm lucky enough to visit, and sharing my (for lack of a better term) "modern bohemian" lifestyle. If you'd like to see more, please feel free to subscribe to my channel. Hope to see you in the comments below!

With love,

Audrie

Everyone, it's Audrey, so a beginning, a ton of requests to do a video about my hair. So I thought that I would put up together for you guys this isn't going to be a hair, color video. I want to save that for a hair salon vlog the next time that I get my hair colored. So, if that's what you wanted to know, I'm not going to talk about in this video, but I am going to talk about how I curl my hair style in some of the products that I use and my shampoo and conditioner and things like that. So there's a lot that I want to go over, so let's just get into it, so I'm going to start off with my hair care routine. I guess, and that all starts in the shower. A shampoo that I use is the forever blonde shampoo by Paul Mitchell. My hairdresser actually recommended this to me a while back, and I love it because it keeps the brassiness out of my hair and it is cruelty free. It also has a nice fresh scent and leaves my hair feeling really clean. The conditioners that I use is just the conditioner that it's paired with same scent leaves my hair feeling soft, and I always try to focus on the bottom. Half of my hair is, I just feel like that's where I need it, the most once I've rinsed. I will squeeze the water out of my hair before getting out in towel drying. I also like to put some sort of oil in my hair. As soon as I leave the shower, this argan oil by Shea Moisture is my current favorite I'll focus mostly on my ends, and then I will detangle my hair with a wooden comb. I prefer this to plastic or metal because it causes less. Breakage is a lot easier on my scalp and I find my hair to be a lot shinier, because supposedly wooden combs and brushes distributes the natural oils throughout your hair a lot easier. I will deep conditioned once in a while with coconut oil. I like this one bike, Aparri I'll, just put in a bunch in my hair, for as long as I need before a shower and then wash and condition it afterwards after I've combed my hair, I will just leave it alone to air out until it's completely dry. I don't want to blow dryer at any additional heat to it, as I want to minimize the amount of breakage as much as I can ever since I started cutting back on these things. I feel like it grows out a lot healthier and it's not as prone to breakage. My hair is very straight and flat once it's dry, as you can see I'll rush it with another one in paddle brush and then I'll add a little bit more argan oil. As well right before I start styling it, I used this one in 1/4, inch ceramic curling iron by Conair to add some leaves every now, and then I actually don't do this. That often only when I want to look more pull together and then I'll try to keep the curls for as many days as possible. I start at the front on one side and I always curl any pieces that frame my face away it rather than toward it. I also don't use the clamp, so you can see here that I'm just using the barrel to Korell that small section not really touching the roots or the ends for a more laid-back. Look I like to alternate directions after each wave. So here I'm curling towards my face this time, wrapping the section around the barrel twice. I also like to slide the barrel back and forth to keep the curl from denting holding that for like 10 seconds and then letting go. So it looks something like this. I repeat that all over my head kind of twirling, the waves of my fingers afterwards, just to reinforce them a little until I've gone over everything. The last thing I like to do is shake out my curls and run my fingers through them a little. So they look a little bit more loose and voluminous if you're, not sea, salt spray or hairspray for some hold, if you'd like. But I've been skipping that stuff lately, because my hair holds curls fairly well and my hair doesn't get as greasy as fast. If I minimize the amount of products I put into it, so I think that's going to be it for my hair style, haircare video. I hope you guys enjoyed and found it helpful. Of course, and I'll see you in the next one bye you
