Arata Curly Hair Products Review And Demo | Style Curly Hair | Aunadine Phanbuh | Shillong, India.

Hi guys welcome back to my youtube channel. Oh my gosh, i'm looking like a mess, but that's okay, um, i'm gon na fix that in just a few minutes. What i will be doing today is, i will be reviewing some curly hair products for you guys for all you, curly hair people out there who want to know about this brand called arata. So aratha is like this indian brand for curly, hair and skin and um. They sent me a few of their products. This is not. This is not a sponsored video at all um, but they sent me these products as a collaboration, so that i would give you guys my honest review here on youtube. So i'm gon na go use these products and then i'll explain everything that sorry excuse me. That'S my phone i'll, explain each product and what it does for me. I'Ve been using these products, for, i would say a couple of weeks now to get to know them and to try to like know how it works. Oh my gosh, my hair and um. I finally got in my routine down, so i'm gon na go hop into the shower wash my hair and then i'll show you guys how i style my hair so see you in a few like right now and i'm back hi guys so um. I just washed. My hair and it took quite some time because i had to wash out all the oil because i had left in an oil overnight. So now it's still really really wet and the first thing that i'm gon na do is i'm gon na comb it out. Um. Now i'm just combing through my hair, and i will part my hair already before i apply the styling products, so i will just part it right down the middle so that later on, if i want to like part it on the side of the side like it Has volume and i would recommend using a wide tooth comb and not this comb but uh - i can't find mine. Oh i'm, just gon na make do so anyways. The first thing that i will do is go in with the arata hair cream. It'S gon na. Take this in my hand, i'm just going to take that much a lot of you're going to be like that's a lot, but i mean that's actually not a lot, there's a lot. No, not so, then you emulsify it first in your hands and then i rake it through and i don't concentrate um product in my scalp area, because i don't want it to weigh down way down my curls. I just want like uh more of the weight down here and for volume up here, so i even pull my hair out like this, so that when it dries, this helps give you volume and my hair, like i like volume in my hair, because my hair is Really thin actually and uh volume like makes it not look thin, so just keep emulsifying and, as you can see like hair is coming out. But that's okay, like that's a really really less amount. Actually - and you know the thicker - that your hair is the more product you would put in there, my hair is not that thick. So therefore, i'm not putting a lot of product so then whatever's left on my hand, i take it and then i just like slightly dab it on my scalp area, like this hair on top just so that there's no frizz, i don't want um to put that Inside my scalp, so the next thing i will go in with is the hair gel. This is the arata styling hair gel it is for shaping and for um a nourishing stronghold. So i really really again it has organic flaxseed and it's a pretty good gel. I'M really really liking this, like i'm, not giving you guys a complete review just as just as yet, because i will show i want to give you guys that, like my full thoughts after i show you guys, um uh results. So again, i'm just raking it through and i start scrunching. So this has a nice cucumber smell. The gel has nice cucumber smell. I really like it like as you're smelling it. If you don't like fragrance in your hair products, then these are not for you, but so then i just keep scrunching everywhere, go to the side, and i scrunch this way so that um i get this. You don't want to neglect this top ground here. So it falls down and then you scrunch it so that is it. That is how i um style. My curls uh these past few weeks, i'm just gon na scrunch a little bit more my ends and then what i'm gon na do now is i'm gon na plop, my hair, uh and i'll make a separate video for that, but, like plopping is basically where you Just like put your hair upside down in a microfiber towel or a t-shirt, cotton t-shirt, and then you tie it around your head and you leave it for as long as you want. I'Ve done over nine. I'Ve done 30 minutes and plopping really helps. With definition of your curls, so it really helps mine, so i'm gon na do that so give me a sec um. Oh my gosh, okay, so this is me plopping, my hair, so be yeah. I look like a. I look like that. Those characters from that movie with the cone heads - it's called coneheads - i don't know but anyways um. So i will plop for 30 minutes and that time i'll do like my makeup or something skincare and makeup, and then this will take and i'll just let it go. I won't touch my hair at all. I won't scrunch. I won't do anything after that, and then i will uh come back in a couple of hours and show you guys, like the final reveal and then i'll give you my complete review at that time as well. So see you guys, then i know i just keep jumping in and out, but that's the way it is with air drying, curly hair, it's it takes a long, long time and i'm back and uh. This is how my hair looks after it's completely dry and i have not scrunched out any of the gel, so i went out. I did some errands and i uh let my hair just air dry completely, and i know right now it actually looks wet, but it's not. It is um 100 dry, it's 100 dry, but because of the gel that i have in it, this gel the arata hair gel uh. It forms a cast over my hair and that's because i have a cast from the hair gel so uh. Whenever you apply hair gel on uh curly hair on hair, it forms a cast. So you need to break that cast so the way that we do that curly girls, curly people, uh uh, break that glass. Is we scrunch it out? So all you have to do and only when it's 100 dry, so i'm just gon na feel everything and it is 100 dry. So now you can see how defined my curls are, and this is because of the plopping that i did earlier. So all i need to do is just break the cast by scrunching, and this will create like more softer um, looking dry, looking curls and also it will give you more volume, because, when your hair is still in that cast it uh, your hair has a lot Of shrinkage - and it like it, looks flat already, you can see like how different my hair is looking, so you just scrunch scrunch scrunch, try not to like push your hair. Try not to put your hair inside your hair, just like from the bottom. Take it to the top and scrunch, and oh already, you can see like more volume now other side before i can taste all these answers. What i would do is, i would put my fingers in touch my scalp and just shake a little. This, like gives you a little bit of volume. Don'T wan na be careful not to pull on your hair, otherwise you'll break your curls and then the back of your head, the crown and then the side, and already it's looking more voluminous and more softer. Not so tight like it just did. You can see that there's like an immense change already, so this is how it look and it will. I feel, like my hair, really really looks look at this um. It looks much better on the second and third day, like i feel, like the products really helped me uh whole have like they help the ringlets stay. They have a lot of hold, even for my second and third day, if you feel like anywhere, it still looks a little tight, a little too um wet scrunch again. The last thing that i will do actually is i'm going to give my hair a good hair. Flip so nice look at that definition and oh volume, i love it there, you have it. So i really really like these products, i'm going to give you guys my full review now so uh. These are the three things that i used today. First is the arata shampoo, so this is a hydrating shampoo and, like i said before, um this is almost too hydrating for me only because um, my scalp is very sensitive and it can't handle too much oil, because then i start to get pimples or um. It starts to get itchy, and i know that, like some of you like what no only if it's dry, it gets itchy. Well not for me when my hair is like, if there's an excess of oils in it, then it starts to get itchy, so this i would use only once in two weeks just to give my hair that boost of hydration. Otherwise, i don't really need this, like it's a good product for you, if you have normal scalp, not normal to dry scalp, because if you do these are my dogs, because if you do, then this is really hydrating and it will really really help your hair, like I really if you have dry or normal scalp. This is the one for you, but if you have like an oily scalp, then no like no and i have sensitive oily scalp, so it didn't work for me, then. The next thing that i used is the arata hair cream. I used a mask today, which also like really helped my hair like a protein mask, because i was watching means by mel. She is my hair guru uh. You guys should check her out. If you are a girly person like me, um, and she made me realize that i needed more protein in my hair, like i needed a little bit of balance because it was my hair was too soft and therefore my ringlets would not form well. I really noticed that difference. It really helped. So then i started after my conditioner. Obviously i wash that all out and then i go in with the hair cream. This is the arata hair cream, so this hair cream is for shaping and for hold. So it's for both. It says here shaping cream for a nourishing hold with organic flaxseed and olive extracts. And if you read the arata like story of how they came about, it's really interesting like because they they used like this organic flaxseed like one of their moms or something just made them like flaxseed um gel for their hair. And it was just so amazing that they were like. Why isn't this a thing in india? You know so uh they say work in a generous amount to dry, hair and scalp using your fingers or a comb for slick, look apply onto damp hair, so you can use this for dry hair as well. If you want hold and shaping it, will do that for you, but for us curly people um it's great for hydrating, the hair, nourishing it and also for hold. So that really really, i feel like this cream for me, really gives my hair a lot of moisture. But it doesn't overdo it because the flaxseed is in it. It'S just really moisturizing, but not to the point where uh it overloads my scalp but, like i said like um, you need to apply it according to the texture of your hair, like i have very thin hair, so i don't apply lots. I apply like a little enough to like saturate my hair, but not enough to overload it, so it really really works well for me, i really love it. I really love it and but the only problem i say the only problem. The pros cons i mean is the smell. I hate the smell. It smells like like a very typical uh men's cologne. That'S what it smells like like i don't like it. I would prefer to have no fragrance at all uh, but i bet like, if guys use this, they wouldn't have a problem with it or women. Who'D uh didn't mind that more of a muskie smell. I don't like that. I don't like that smell at all, so this, but the saving grace of that comes in the hair gel. So this is the hair gel, and this is again for shaping and for a nourishing and strong hold. So all of these products, like condition your hair, as well as like, hold and give it shape, so that's the best part about it, because it also treats your hair. Excuse me: it's my phone i'll put it on silent, so it also like treats your hair. While you, while you're using it, so it helps with repairing your hair if it's damaged or if it's heat damaged or, like you know, pollution damaged. So the saving grace about this is the fact that it has a wonderful cucumber smell like it's just it's very subtle. It'S not as strong as this one um, it's very subtle and it's very nice, like i don't know who doesn't like the smell of cucumbers. Do i know anyone like that? I don't think so. But if you don't, then maybe you want like this, but if you do or you don't mind it, then it's really good, and this is like that finishing icing on the top cherry on top of the icing um product, because i feel like these two together are Really really good, i this is nice, but this this gives me nourishment and a little bit of and definition, but this gives me hold so nourishment and definition this gives me hold like it holds these curls till my fourth day and then they start to get looser And then you don't see much of the ringlets, you just see like waves and craziness, but this is really good. So again, this also has flaxseed extracts. Flax seed is amazing product. It'S very conditioning, it's good for your hair. It'S good for um like the it's also like a protein, so it helps in adding giving your hair that as well uh. So these are like a good products for people like me who need protein as well as well as moisture in their hair, because they're very conditioning hydrating, as well as um protein enhancing like or protein administrating, because it's flax, seed flaxseed is a plant-based protein um and You know it has amino acids in it. It has really really good uh, like i just love flaxseed like google, what it does it's good for you, so so all of these products, all three of these products are um, no toxic stuff, which means no parabens. No sles, no sls, no caustics, no dea, no mea, no ta, no dyes, no more formaldehyde, no chlorine, no heavy metals, no phosphates and no triclosan. I don't know what half of those things are, but i'm glad it's not in my hair products. You know what i mean uh, so i'm honestly, i really really love these products. I think you guys will as well like look at my hair honestly, it's so cute. Look at this softness. So that's the end of the review, like i said, um my detailed review on each product. I highly highly recommend these products for you. If you are a curly girl or curly guy uh, you can try like. Maybe just these two sorry, not these two, these two, the the hair cream and the gel or, if you have like i said, um dry to normal hair, scalp, scalp, hair uh. You can try the hydrating shampoo, this one, i'm not wasn't a great fan of, but that's okay like i am still gon na use it like maybe once in two weeks, just to give my hair that boost of hydration, but otherwise i don't need it and other Than that, that's it like, i really hope you guys try, indian brands and indian goods not that i have anything against international brands, but just to give our indian brands a chance as well to be able to compete with those brands. You know.
