Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Hi beautiful, i know so many of you suffer from hair loss either from having covered or maybe it's just hereditary. Hair loss can happen for so many reasons. But don't worry, it's not the end of the world and i am here to help you, but you must take some precautions in order to mitigate the problem before it gets worse. So today we're going shopping at my local drugstore to find some products that will help you with your hair loss problem. So let's go okay. We have made it to walgreens, let's see what we have in the aisles. Also, i get really embarrassed recording in public. So if i look awkward, that's because i feel awkward and i hate every moment of it: okay, so first, i'm gon na look at brushes and we're gon na get probably a good little detangling brush check we're gon na get a boar bristle brush, okay yeah! This is good. This is good perfect. We have a scalp brush thing. I don't know what these are called. Actually um a shampoo brush. I guess dent free scrunchies. Now let me go and run and get some dry shampoo. I actually like the batiste dry shampoo. I'M not gon na lie it's kind of good, i'm just gon na get the original one. I think that's what i like. I haven't used it in a bit so put that in the bag. Let'S get some cleansing shampoo. That is very gentle for the hair. This one actually says it's for a hair growth, so i'll put that in the bag. Oh, they have a little salicylic acid, shampoo that is great for dandruff, and it can be great for some hair loss issues. What else we got here? Okay, we got a silk bonnet cool, let's put that in and um a few other things. Oh, they have minoxidil here all right. Let me get the out of here. My social anxiety is peaking right now and uh. I don't want to do it anymore, so um there are people staring at me and i need to go i'll, see you when i get home back, let's go through the bag, so i think i got some good stuff and i think i'm really gon na help. You out, it's been a while, since i've shopped for anything a hair related in a drugstore, but i was kind of impressed with the selection there's actually some really good products in there and some things i want to show you to help with hair loss. We picked up a detangling brush. This baby is great guys, they're, so underrated these detangling brushes. Oh my god. I remember their time where there weren't detangling brushes like this. They weren't so well known. I love the tangle, teaser ones. I just feel like the bristles are really great. I feel like it's high quality and it's light and it's nice. It feels good in my hand, it's a good vibe. This really helps prevent excess hair loss, because the bristles are nice and bendable, and it's not gon na pull the hair out of your scalp. A lot of people will really roughly pull on their hair and it will come out if you pull your hair really hard with a brush, especially when it's wet it's fragile as and very elastic. If you pull it when it's wet, it will come out of your scalp or it'll break off really close to your scalp, and you do not want that to happen. So we are going to help that situation by starting at the ends of our hair and brushing up, and if there is really really tangled parts of your hair, please do not try to get it out while your hair is wet. Allow your hair to air dry a bit and then work on the tangles or work on those tangles when your hair is 100 dry, because your hair will not be as elastic and can take a lot more tugging, usually hair that is thinning, is very, very fragile And very fine, so you want to make sure you're not putting extra tension on it, and this is really going to help the situation another one in our brush category. Is this boar bristle brush these bristles help distribute oils in your hair, allowing your hair to really soak in that sea bun, which is so good for your hair and so good for hair growth you wan na let those natural oils out. If you also wear your hair in ponytails a lot, this helps prevent extra breakage by not pulling on your hair too much. These bristles are also really soft and really bendable. So you're not gon na put extra tension on your hair, you're gon na get that oil moving throughout and it's kind of just brushing the surface of your hair. Where a lot of brushes go really deep and you end up pulling on more hair than you actually need to, this is great for people like me, who have a very, very fragile hairline and if you put any kind of even like a detangling brush on it, When it's dry - oh my god, it will pull, it will hurt and it i will lose hair. I will have 10 hair strands on my brush. I always use something made out of bore or a synthetic and bore mix. Something like that to not put too much attention on my hairline. I love these scalp brushes for shampooing, but i use them for so many different things if you've never seen one of these before this is what they look like. They have these little bendable little prickly things on here, but they feel so good on your head. Oh god, it gives me chills. I love it. This is great for when you're shampooing it helps really clean up that scalp. If you have a clean scalp, it really helps with hair growth. That doesn't mean you should wash it every day. You should wash your scalp at some point, because sometimes you can get build up on your scalp, preventing your hair from growing when you're shampooing, your hair. Sometimes your hair can snag on your nails if you have a sharp nail or a little bit of a hang nail situation going on. Also, your nails can be a bit too abrasive for your scalp. Your scalp is pretty sensitive and can't really take a lot of that aggressive movement. These soft bristles help you so that you're not putting any abrasions on your scalp or being too rough on it. You don't want to put little cuts in your scalp, which is not good for it. You want to take care of that scalp. If you love your scalp, your scalp will love you back and produce more hair and it'll be a great relationship. You guys have this. Also stimulates your scalp's capillaries. This will also help with blood circulation and helps nourish your hair follicles with oxygen and nutrients. There was one point where i was using this twice a day and i was just going like this throughout the day. First of all, it feels so good and you can do it at any time, while you're working at the office, who cares if people judge you whatever it was helping my hair grow so much whoa girl. I really need to do it again. Um. I don't even know why i stopped, but, yes, these things are great: let's get into hair products. Dry, shampoo, batiste! Oh this one is a cheap one, but a good one. Like i said before, you should be washing your hair. You know i recommend at least once a week two times a week is probably like the best of all, if you're suffering from hair loss, also washing your hair makes it appear, fuller, because you're losing those oils and your hair is more fluffed up, and it is Not weighed down, so you definitely do want to be shampooing your hair if you're suffering from hair loss or you have thinning hair. I think that is important, but if you want to prolong the life in between washes, we all know a dry. Shampoo is great for that. Just use it like once or twice between washes, though, do not use it too much. You don't want to overdo it, because what you can do is put too much product on your scalp. If you put way too much powder and product on your scalp and don't wash your hair for like two weeks, your hair follicle is not gon na be able to grow out of that. Let'S keep those impurities to a minimum and keep it nice and clean for as long as possible without putting an overload of dry shampoo, but dry. Shampoo is still great and still can help strengthen your hair fiber by letting that hair sit in those natural oils. For a little bit longer in between washes, i also found this product called thicker, fuller, hair. It seems to have really great ingredients and a good idea behind it. I'Ve never actually used it. It has a lot of really great oils in it. That are great for your scalp and a cleansing. Shampoo can be a great option for people with fine or thinning hair, because it's not going to overly strip your hair of its natural nutrients, but it is going to get it clean. Switching to something like a cleansing. Shampoo can be great for people with hair loss, so you're not taking those nutrients out that are so good for your hair and for promoting hair growth. This also prevents your hair from getting too dry. If you have very, very dry hair, try something like this or try something like a hydrating shampoo, because very dry hair can often split and become broken and brittle, and we don't want that. This is one that i actually was like. Should i pick this up or should i not? I find this very interesting though, and i feel like a lot of people, don't realize that dandruff, psoriasis and eczema on the scalp can actually prevent your hair from growing properly in severe cases. So if you have any kind of dry scalp consider something like salicylic acid shampoo. You can get skin buildup on your scalp, this unclogs, your hair follicle and prevents oil buildup. So this is great thing to use once in a while. Just to make sure your scalp is free of all impurities and really clean that way, you can grow lustrous, shiny, thick, healthy hair. Let'S talk about some accessories. Shall we this one is kind of an obvious one i'll go through this quick? This is a microfiber towel. If you are seriously thinning and a lot of hair is coming out when you dry it on a towel, please use a microfiber towel so good to just be really really gentle on your hair, and these will prevent any excess hair loss due to rough towels and Going like this don't go like this with a towel either. If you have hair loss, just blot the hair. That will be great for you. I have a love hate relationship with these things. I don't know what that says: schoon scunci spirals scrunchie, i don't know i think, they're absolutely hideous, but if you're going to the gym or like something casual sure, why not? I know that these really are nice on the hair, especially the ones that are not matte. Like the shiny ones, the glossier material does not pull on your hair at all. These are just great for people with fine thinning hair because they don't pull they're, not going to add any more stress on your hair than needed, and it's just a great little item. So that your hair stays intact and doesn't get pulled on at all throughout the day, even if you're wearing it in a ponytail, because ponytails can be really stressful for the hair. Let'S talk about a satin bonnet. I see a lot of people getting satin pillowcases or silk pillowcases and, like i don't like the way they look so for me, like a satin bonnet, is just so much better, also when you're sleeping, if you turn side to side and toss around all the time You know that you wake up with matted hair, underneath your head or on top, and it gets really wild and people, often comb it and brush it really really hard in the morning. It'S not good. Let'S prevent that, because what can be happening is your hair can literally be snapping while you're sleeping okay, people with thinning hair, often don't have strong hair. So if you want that hair to stay intact, let's make sure we are protecting our hair. While we sleep that way, it's not all tangled in the morning and we have to rip it out with a brush, not a good idea. This also just helps your style last longer because you have it all in this bonnet and it's staying nice and fresh all through the night. This soft material makes sure your hair doesn't get too tangled, while you're sleeping they're just a great useful tool and super easy to use and a super easy way to make sure your hair is not getting pulled out. We have a little medication moment. This is a minoxidil treatment. Two percent minoxidil can be really effective for a lot of people, but not everybody. Okay, it does not work on everybody. I am the person who doesn't really do anything on, but this can really affect your hair growth in a great way. It basically shortens the resting phase of your hair and speeds up the process of growing new follicles. You do have to use this every single day. You have to put it right on your scalp, it's a little annoying, but it can be really effective and this has been studied heavily and there's been clinical trials. We do know it's actually effective on a lot of people, so if you're suffering from severe hair loss or a thinning hairline, this can be really great for you. But beware that if you stop using it, the effects will go away. So you must routinely use this forever if you want to maintain the results and, lastly, we have a multivitamin. However, however, first of all i want to say this is one that you need to consult with your doctor about and get tests for. I just picked up a multivitamin for an example of something you could take, but you could be definitely deficient in vitamins or you could have hormonal problems going on. This might not be something that you actually have, but you should consult with a doctor to see if these things are affecting your hair loss and then go out and get the vitamin that you need. I know a lot of people out there. Maybe you do not have a proper diet where they're getting the nutrients they need in order to help their hair grow properly, and then you are deficient in some vitamin. It really won't be a good combination. So let's get the vitamins we need and uh. These are easy to find at the drugstore, obviously and um good thing to have for growing your hair. I would say that was a successful mission to the drugstore and we found a lot of great items. I hope that helps you and helps prevent more hair loss and helps you recover some of the already lost hair. I know how much hair means to so many people, especially me. So please do yourself a favor and adopt a healthy hair care routine with all the necessary items to prevent excess, hair loss and regrow new hair. Subbing to everyone who subs to me: Whoever’s reading this, I pray whatever your going through gets better and whatever your struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and everyone has a fantastic day! Amen

ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ: Just when I needed it ! Honestly losing hair is so traumatizing especially as a teenager. I'm losing soo much hair everyday due to stress, lack of nutrition, thyroid problems and possible PCOS

Jenn Briggs: It makes you so much more relatable to know that you have social anxiety in certain situations. Thanks so much for sharing that. I know that a lot of people (myself included) know exactly how that feels. In situations like that, remember how many people support you! Like, seriously a lot of people. I would like to add to this video - when I cut my hair short, but long enough on top to do stuff with, my hair got so thick that it could stand straight up. And while this is not advisable in all situations, I have noticed that when I bleach my hair, it gives it a lot more volume. Also I love my wet brush for getting rid of tangles when my hair is wet - it glides right through.

Caitlin WhatTheFrick: For everyone who uses Rogaine or a similar product AND you have a cat: DON’T put it on before bed because it can get on your pillow and your cat could get into it and DIE because it’s VERY toxic to cats (dogs too probably) so instead put it on in the morning and wash your hands well afterwards

Koda Lafferty: This video could not have came at a better time. I literally bawled my eyes out this morning with the amount of hair loss I’ve been dealing with this year. Covid is a b!tch.

The "Unacceptable" Yasminni: Seeing how awkward Brad is shopping for hair products at a Wallgreen's like a regular Joe Schmoe just made my day. Love you Brad.

☆Road to 25 subs☆: I love how he always boosts our confidence by saying "Hi beautiful-"

Enigma1990ad: Brad: "Don't worry hair loss isn't the end of the world." Me who had very thick, beautiful and lustrous hair: "But it is Brad. It is."

Sonia’s Way: I watch Brad for his personality and humor, and in the process I get to learn so much about hair care. Love from a fellow creator <3

Lauren Muller: Love the awareness around this video and just thought I'd swoop in an share some extra tips that are helpful for regrowing hair. I've used these personally but obviously everyone is different so take this with a pinch of salt if you will . Some of these are just from personal experience and others are recommendations from doctors and dermatologists: From a medical professional: Things that can attribute heavily to hair loss patterns because they disrupt the hairs natural cycle: - hereditary issues such as alopecia, etc - stress - poor sleep -poor diet -thyroid problems - iron deficiency - poor diet -hormonal changes linked to age or birth control Recommendations made by medical professionals: - getting iron studies done and using an iron supplement - monoxidil 2% (I'm using 5% as that's what was prescribed to me but as far as I know 2% is what you can get without prescription in most countries) - Thyroid blood and urine test - Antifungal oral treatments or shampoos (sometimes fungal spores can get trapped under the nails and spread across the scalp, causing itching and inflammation which can inhibit or disrupt hair growth) Things I have used and found have helped: -Sideral Forte 15 Iron supplement (consult your doctor first and only take if you need it as too much iron in your blood can also be harmful) - rosemary oil and rosemary water( rosemary helps reduce inflammation and increases blood circulation, use the rosemary oil with a carrier oil such as jojoba oil as it is strong and could burn your skin) - Hair skin and nail vitamins (these often contain goodies such as folic acid and biotin which are great for hair growth) - Collagen peptide pills or powder (I personally like the powder as I see it as easier to digest and absorb. Collagen is very important if you're using monoxidil especially, as studies have found that monoxidil reduces collagen production in skin. Collagen also helps to support the hair follicle) -Overall trying to improve my life style: getting a consistent and sufficient sleep schedule, managing my stress levels and improving my daily diet. This means drinking more water, consuming more protein and really getting those greens into my body. Green smoothies are a great way to do that if you can't stand kale or spinach! Mask them with fruity flavours! Remember also that things like trauma or stress can cause the body to go into survival mode, taking nutrients away from areas that aren't necessary for survival (aka your precious follicles) . Try your best to keep calm and carry on! All of this isn't medical advice, just personal experiences. Please consult with a medical professional first to find out what the best treatments are instead of self diagnosis!

Corrie Elliott: This video is really helpful! I’m going through hair loss at the moment and needed this video so much! My hair is thick but I lose hair every time I brush or wash it so this video couldn’t have come at a better time!! Thank you so much Brad you are such an icon, we love you! ❤️❤️❤️ xx

Trauma Queen: Way to go Brad bringing up seeing a doctor for labs and medical checkups! There are not only nutrient deficiencies, but medical conditions that lead to hair, skin, and nail related problems that a simple blood test can identify. ❤️ -Nurse TQ.

Don't Read My Profile Photo: We can all agree that he never disappoints us with his content ⁦

Kimiko Rux: Shy HI! I have really bad social anxiety and I just want to say I am proud of you, the work you do, and for braving the out doors to find these products. Thank you for the informative video! I have fairly thin hair and do worry that I might lose it all one day so I will keep these products in mind. If I end up needing to use them I will be sure to mention you! Much love!!!! Blessings

Mary Mecham: I needed this! My partner is suffering from a thinning hair line. I'm so glad we started doing almost all of this for them already! thanks Brad!

Scot Cat: When I had a very thin/practically bald patch as well as general thin hair I used Roots shampoo. I was dubious whether it would work or not but it did and definitely helped my hair. I also love the Batiste dry shampoo, it does help so much. The tip I picked up (in one of Brad’s videos maybe) is to put it on the night before, before it gets too greasy. Works so much better than putting on already pretty greasy hair.

Vivian Rivera: This video is really helpful! I’m going through hair loss at the moment and needed this video so much! My hair is thick but I lose hair every time I brush or wash it so this video couldn’t have come at a better time!! Thank you so much Brad you are such an icon, we love you! ❤️❤️❤️ xx

Stephanie Vincent: My tip is for those of you with dandruff, dry scalp, psoriasis etc.; if you've tried dandruff shampoos and they have not worked, there is an ingredient called piroctone olamine that is not only good for clearing scalp psoriasis but also stopping hair loss AND it even has been shown in a couple studies to thicken the hair diameter. This is working for me better than anything else has. But Brad's suggestion of a salicylic acid shampoo is a great one too bc you really want to keep gently exfoliating. ps - if you are wavy or curly, do not comb your hair after drying. You need to comb while wet and slathered in conditioner.

Grace Anne: seeing brad in a drugstore is so wholesome, and wow. i love him. the vulnerability is so precious

Lynda Payne: I love Batiste, it's really good quality & pretty cheap in the UK. I've tried others but always go back to it. I use it at night & brush it out in the morning. I also have the same scalp brush with the silicone cones & I think it helps clear my follicles from dry shampoo without snapping off hairs, it's bliss! Thanks, Brad, I love your vids x

Amna Al Hawaj: Something that really saved my hair besides going to a dermatologist (that helped alot!) Is hair oils. - Rosemary oil on my scalp + castor oil - Moroccan oil on my ends

Dovah Buun: Brad, you have no idea how perfect your timing is with this video. Today I tested positive for Covid, exactly 2yrs to the week since I had Covid the first time. I'm terrified because not only did I get scary sick, in the months after I lost about 1/4th of my hair. My partner used your layered haircut and bangs tutorials to hide my thinning sides with a shag. I'm glad to see some of the changes I've made are among your recommendations. Here's hoping I'm luckier this time around.

Kaylin Abreu: I chopped my hair off three years ago (and have continued to do so) to help with hair loss and I'm somehow losing more hair. Losing hair as a teenager and young adult is so embarrassing and it makes me feel so ugly and so insecure. Thank you for this, Brad

feitocomfruta: I’ve had a lot of hair loss after my weight loss surgery and it was fine to begin with. It was denser but that has gone away a lot. I have been using a shampoo/scalp massager brush when I wash and condition my hair (2 to 3 times a week, like you recommended). I was told to take biotin, but it does mess with my other medication levels so we had to stop. It will be a pain, but I think I may need to try minoxidil to see if it will work.

Redbaby: Oh my goodness, thank you so much for making this video! I had a hysterectomy earlier this year, and ever since my hair has been thinning really bad. And my hair is the one thing that boosts my self esteem. I'm glad to learn that there are products that I can find over the counter without resorting to my doctor. Thanks again! <3

Vivian Rivera: This video is really helpful! I’m going through hair loss at the moment and needed this video so much! My hair is thick but I lose hair every time I brush or wash it so this video couldn’t have come at a better time!! Thank you so much Brad you are such an icon, we love you! ❤️❤️❤️ xx

Tori- Loo: I'm so glad you did this video! I've got proper tension alopecia from having my side emo fringe on the same side so many years and the thin hair on that side of my hairline really gets me down

Saknika: Definitely needed this. Have had some serious hair loss due to Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, and now I've developed psoriasis (and I think it might be on my scalp because it's so tender).

AlizMari23: He said that thing about your nails snagging your hair and somehow it made me think of when I used to shave with the Schick Intuition razor, and literally almost every single shaving day, I would accidentally shave off a piece of my finger nail EVERY SINGLE TIME! With other razors it almost never happens, but with that specific razor, it was a regular thing. I know that has nothing to do with the video, but that's how my mind works

Sorchia Ireland: You are so lovable!! Our daughters have very oily hair. I started them on dry shampoo and the scalp massager years ago. They would divide sections, spray once, then gently use the scalp massager. HUGE DIFFERENCE! I’m buying that tangle teaser brush for me! Looks fab.

boomerinthewild: Thank you for this. I'm nearly 60 (f) and have been losing hair bit by bit since I was in my mid forties. The women on both sides of my family had super thin hair in their later years.

Mandy Ramirez: Thanks so much Brad!! I love your advice and energy!! This is all what I’m going through. I go to the dermatologist in a week so hopefully they can help me. On top of my hair loss/ balding I have curly/wavy hair. I don’t want to loose that, I love my curls! Love ya!!

Vivian Rivera: I needed this! My partner is suffering from a thinning hair line. I'm so glad we started doing almost all of this for them already! thanks Brad!

Veda Wynter: Hi Brad! I was wondering about your thoughts on Co-Washing. I have very sensitive skin, eczema and dandruff so I use T-Sal dandruff shampoo and the Hairitage Double Down co-wash in between to be more gentle to my hair. It has worked quite well but my hair is still thinner than it used to be. Please let me know what you think about co-wash, if it's good/bad, etc. Thank you! Much love. Xoxo

Vivian Rivera: My hair loss was driving me nuts. I’ve found products and a routine that seems to be working for me. I might add some of these suggestions as well. I use a strengthening shampoo and conditioner, a biotin + collagen leave in oil treatment and then a 10 in 1 leave in conditioner. After a few weeks, my hair is feeling thicker and stronger. Makes me so happy.

Myriam Gagnon: Thank you brad! This is such a helpful video for us with thinning hair and hair loss!❤

Vivian Rivera: I watch Brad for his personality and humor, and in the process I get to learn so much about hair care. Love from a fellow creator <3

Vivian Rivera: Just when I needed it ! Honestly losing hair is so traumatizing especially as a teenager. I'm losing soo much hair everyday due to stress, lack of nutrition, thyroid problems and possible PCOS

Erin Bray: Thanks for this brad! Just shared it with my friend! It’s like we’re all going through this right now it’s crazy and traumatizing

Jacqui H.: I’ve found some really great tips from brad for my long fine hair. Like every day things I didn’t realize I was doing wrong like being too rough from shampooing, drying, brushing to styling. I must say though, the aerosol dry shampoos suck for me so I use the powder kinds from bumble n bumble or aveno (spelling). I even found out that I have dandruff (!) in one area on my scalp, rt where my ponytail/messy bun sits. I was like shit no wonder it’s always itchy here. But thanks to brad I know what to do. Thank u brad! U do so much for us

Katie Runnberg: I was experiencing some hair loss after traveling in my Airstream for the past 10 months straight. I actually tried the Neutrogena with salicylic acid shampoo about 4 months ago and it definitely helped. My itchy scalp went away after the first shampoo and I definitely see more hair growth. I was exposed to all sorts of nasty water and was only washing my hair once every week and a half, so I'm sure the buildup of chemicals, product, and sweat was causing all of my issues.

Lemon: love brad ❤️ always making amazing content that always keeps me entertained☺️

Tonya M: Also, begin detangling from ends and work your way up. In addition, internal care is super important. Vitamin D3 and Zinc saved my hair when it was coming out from the root. Learned that from Dr. Berg. Life saver!! Love your content. Funny AF and informative!

Tessney.: Be careful with Batiste! It causes some people hair loss, including myself. It also causes breakage. I really haven't found any drugstore dry shampoo that I like. Playback by Matrix is my favorite although it can leave some white residue, it soaks up wonderfully and if you rub your palm on it the white goes away.

Cali Vajrabul: Thank you Brad!! Love learning, laughing, and loving with your videos. Wish there were more like you in the world

JenPen: Thanks Brad! I needed this one. I had surgery a few months ago and my hair has started to fall pretty bad. Also I have a video suggestion! I think you should do an olaplex vs. Revolution Plex range comparison video

Kristel Hopwood: My hair loss was driving me nuts.

Kurious Kiwi: Omg you read the stars and answered my prayers Brad! My hair has been falling out in LARGE amounts recently and I've no idea what to do about it. Thank you! ❤

Motogal: As Brad said, hair loss happens for a variety of reasons. I'm not a doctor, so this comment is not medical advice! Considering getting your thyroid checked, as hypothyroidism can cause hair loss. Ask your doc to check your TSH, T3 and T4 via blood test.

Skye: best timing ever!! after years of not having hair loss, it started again, I cried for hours! thank you so much! I love your videos, thank you again!

Mackenzie Downs: This came at such a perfect time. I'm a little over 3.5 months pp and just got over covid for the 2nd time a few weeks ago. I have noticed SO much hair loss over the past 2 weeks and it's been freaking me out.

SmallandSweet99: I discovered satin bonnets this year when I started bleaching and dying my hair bright colors. They're great. My husband jokes that I look like a cancer patient when I wear mine which is not offensive to us because I was in fact a cancer patient 3 years ago.

Melanie Morgan: Dealing with epilepsy and adjusting to my meds that cause hair loss, this is exactly what I needed to watch, I love my Walgreens, might have to stop on the way home

MinekaC: Omfg, when you said ‘social anxiety is peaking’ I was just, dude I feel you. My hat is off to anyone who can talk and record in public. I would be stimming all through the video I loved the bio lesson with the rubber curry shampoo brush!

Izzyswonderland: I have psoriasis of the scalp (was just diagnosed last year) and had significant hair loss. It was one of the toughest things to go through. I had the most beautiful thick long hair and it was coming out in near clumps. They still don’t know what caused it but when I have flare ups it can still fall out to this day. The salicylic acid shampoo is what my dermatologist recommended and it was a lifesaver. It’s all I use

Chezamoonangel AiEmma: Yes love this video I use the wide tooth comb and boar bristle brush for my ethnic curly wavy hair. Love your tips and videos

Rebecca Lovelace: Omg! Thank you! Perfect timing and boosted my confidence. I have dreadlocks and I’m going through my first pregnancy. I heard that after you give birth there’s a chance a hair loss and it’s got me concern for my dread babies

Rosie.Johnson: “There are people staring at me and I need to go” same Brad

Megan Schmittou: Loving all the tips. Post-partum I've lost a lot of hair and it looks even more fine than it was pre-child because it's taken forever to grow back (my kid is over 2.5 now ‍♀️). Those spiral hairties fly right out of my fine hair though, they don't work for me at all

Norma Jean Hupp: your videos are always so helpful, I have taken so many tips from you in the last couple of years. thanks so much for making great informative videos we can all relate to! I was wondering about two things- what are your thoughts and tips for dermarolling for hair loss? I have fine hair with increasing thinning on top and front hairline, so i would love to see a video with your take on dermarolling. and what tips do you have for maintaining a balanced ph of the scalp and hair. Im only using conditioner for past 7 years and color ( med auburn) 3 times a year - no more winter wheat bleached hair!- i did see improvement in my fine curly hair that i insist on wearing as long as it will grow for a few years. but now living in subtropics im struggling again w dryness and breakage. i recently read that alkalinity can worsen these and that conditioners can cause hair to become alkaline. Id love to see a video explaining the importance of balanced hair ph and how to achieve it :) I know if it comes from you, the information will be trustworthy and that is like gold to your viewers!!

Alpha Whiskey: I love watching you out in the wild! You're absolutely adorable

Leigh Megan: Batiste dry shampoo is so cheap in the UK (£2-3 per can) but lots of people complain it has caused their hair to fall out or become very fragile, use with caution!

Darlene White: Thanks Brad I have been having hair loss do to some of my medication! So I am going to try some of the products you mentioned some I already have and use! Also I will be talking with my mother in law who has lost all most all of her hair from the medication they gave her while she had Covid and was in the hospital! Thanks again for the advice!

Jess Lou: Oh wow Brad! I needed this I have PTSD related hair loss and this video has come out at the best time yiu have made my day x

Candeezie: As someone with cancer, that lost all of my hair from chemo, I agree with these recs. I actually loved having a bald head and scrubbing it with a brush! It felt so nice to give my scalp a good scrub. I don't want to cut my hair since I only just got it back, and my "chemo curls" are only on the ends. I always had super straight hair, so it's so nice to have some curlies! Appreciate you.

JussyRaven2: 1) Thank you SO SO SO much for a drug store trip! I totally get your social anxiety issues, I'm with you! 2) I totally love that you are so relatable and positive! 3) Satin bonnets...ehhh... I personally prefer my silk/satin pillow case. The reason is, if I have something on my head while I'm sleeping, I will, without fail, yeet that thing off my head while I'm sleeping! (LOL I know, sounds silly but there ya have it) I did find some really nicely colored, not too shiny, dark rose pink silk satin pillow cases that I just love. My CURLY hair will mat up, break, frizz out while I'm sleeping, without fail. I have been sleeping with satin pillow cases since I was a teen and any time I've switched back to cotton....whew...NO. Just NO. I tried a bonnet, yeah, that wasn't happening.

Brittany Yow: Brad always has the best advice and never disappoints! Always nice and positive attitude plus him saying Hey beautiful at the beginning of every video is so sweet. Love you Brad ❤️

Vivian Rivera: Seeing how awkward Brad is shopping for hair products at a Wallgreen's like a regular Joe Schmoe just made my day. Love you Brad.

Nia- 🔥𝐆𝐨 𝐓𝐨 𝐌𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 [𝐋!𝐯𝐞]🔞: Just when I needed it ! Honestly losing hair is so traumatizing especially as a teenager. I'm losing soo much hair everyday due to stress, lack of nutrition, thyroid problems and possible PCOS

victoria d: Great video! Especially when going to a drugstore to be able to help everyone that's going hair loss.

ribbitfrog: I appreciate this video. I don't experience hair loss, but I think these are good, affordable ways to help others. I feel skeptical (Brad probably does too) about hair "miracle" products, so this video seems to offer realistic advice. I agree that you should consult your doctor about blood tests before you take vitamins. Figuring out if you have any vitamin deficiencies can help treat depression or other mental health issues. Great job, Brad!

Glam Cat: Thank you for this! I'm suffering from medical hair thinning (I'm lucky because I had a ton of hair to start, so others can't notice - yet - but I do.)

Eva Quast: I went to the doctor years ago and found out I was deficient in vitamin D, which explained so much about my health including my hair and nails breaking a lot. So, definitely get that checked.

amfie: Thanks Brad for the tips. My hair is ALWAYS falling out, and it's a wonder I'm not bald. I need to try some of these things to see if it can help.

Kamen Rider Kiva: This video came just in time! I just started using minoxidil and finasteride to treat male pattern baldness. It’s not very bad yet but I already have family members go George Constanza bald and after seeing how my hairline has receded, not taking any chances!

Lorena and Miguel: Brad always coming in clutch, at the right timing. Signs after signssss

In Full Bloom: Based on my doctor's recommendation and my personal experience taking Bioton 1000 mcg per day with zinc 50 mg per day helped me a lot. Biotin helps hair grow, while zinc makes hair thicker. In 6 months my hair doubleed in thickness.

Claira-𝐹**СК МЕ - СНЕ𝒞𝒦 𝑀𝒴 Р𝑅𝟢𝐹𝐼𝐿Е: Just when I needed it ! Honestly losing hair is so traumatizing especially as a teenager. I'm losing soo much hair everyday due to stress, lack of nutrition, thyroid problems and possible PCOS

I Killed Earl: I lost about 1/3 of my hair last year due to a serious bout of melancholic depression. The real game changer was taking saw palmetto, a collagen III supplement, and a multivitamin. Saw palmetto is generally used by men to keep their prostate healthy and help them pee. But for women, it simulates hair growth (but just where it's supposed to be). I also started using Prose products and doing a thorough scalp massage. After 3 months, I started growing oodles of new baby hairs and my eyelashes look fabulous. My hair is so much fuller and is almost back to normal again.

Vivian Rivera: For everyone who uses Rogaine or a similar product AND you have a cat: DON’T put it on before bed because it can get on your pillow and your cat could get into it and DIE because it’s VERY toxic to cats (dogs too probably) so instead put it on in the morning and wash your hands well afterwards

Tay Original: Yes! Needed this. I follow all except taking vitamins and Lord knows I need them Oh and the silk bonnet! Going to get one today!

zydney perez: Very true about the telephone cord hair ties! I was wearing the normal black hair ties and started working out… running, jumping jacks, jumping squats, etc. After a month my sister noticed the first layer of my hair was shorter than the rest. She’s a hair stylist so she immediately saw it and she noticed it was breakage. Since then I use them.

Gracie Kirkland: I was contemplating on cutting my hair cause am having fragile hair. Plus it gets extremely oily, especially in the hot and humid weather. I was disturb by the amount of hair, I shed on the bathroom floor. In other words, as my little sister say; I have Severus Snape's hair. I learn a lot from Brad.

Kayla: Hi brad! Love your videos when brad was in the store I’m the same way

Kristen Gallo: I used Ogx for two months and my hair started falling out in clumps. I didn’t know that’s what was causing it until my hairdresser told me. Thank for the video!!

Stefanie Davies: I use a tangle teaser and start at the ends and do it with oil and cream in my hair so there are no lugs and it still all falls out Tbh I do pretty much everything in this video and I lose soo much hair ☹️

Kathleen Clark: Thank you! This was very helpful for me. I didn't know that my brush and scrubbing too hard may have been my problems all along.

Heni Gömöri: I love this dry shampoo :) And i definitely will this scalp massager to try :)

Nefreteri Alvaro: Hi Brad! Thank you so much for this video. I use a few of your products including shampoo, conditioner, styling and hair repair products. I suffer from hair loss and I have dryness on my scalp plus it also gets really greasy (it's such a bipolar situation) and so now I'll be using the products in this video. Should I replace your shampoo with the one in this video? Or can I just alternate. My hair looks so much healthier since I started using your products, but it still falls off easily when I shower, when I brush it, when I style it, when I look at it, when I don't look at it... I mean geez. My hair is definitely not living its extra life, but I'm still fighting for it. Thank you again for all your awesome hair education. Love ya!

Renee Yarmola: Thank you so much for this Brad. Long Covid caused me to lose so much of my beautiful, naturally platinum blonde hair I’ll try anything to get my golden locks back

Elizabeth wofford: I was losing globs of hair everytime I washed it so I started washing it less. That just caused me to lose even more hair when I would wash it. It was stressing me out, which was causing even more hair loss. I started using nioxin a few months ago, quit blow drying my hair, and try not to put it up unless I'm cleaning or cooking. It's helped tremendously! I will be getting a satin hair cap! I hate the satin/silk pillow cases so much!.

SugarDemon1035: I stan T-Sal and its generic knockoffs. It's so affordable, works wonders for the scalp eczema that plagues me during the summer, and doesn't smell like a tar pit, unlike T-Gel.

Nicole Ann: Hi Brad! I’m 2 months away from my due date. With my past pregnancies, I lose SO much hair postpartum. Are there things I can start doing now to prevent or help this from happening once I have my baby?

💛Ari-young💛: Omg YAS thank you brad mondo you’ve made my day now I will sprint into the store to get all of these also tysm brad mondo you’ve made my day you’re such a angellllllll

Crispy Crispell: Thank you! I lost half my hair after covid and it's been frustrating to me.
