Hi Sophie you Leon, oh here, and today, I'm going to show you how to make a coconut milk shampoo. Now, for those of you who want to avoid harsh chemicals in most commercial shampoos, you may have really dry hair those chemicals strip, your hair, and for those of you who want to save money. This is absolutely the way to go. Let'S get started four ingredients. That'S all you need easy to get. You can find them in your health store, your local grocery store. We have a third of a cup of coconut milk unsweetened. We have a third of a cup of a liquid castile soap. This is a vegetable oil based soap. It is non-toxic, it is safe. We have a third of a cup of organic aloe vera juice to this little mixture. I am going to add just ten drops of lavender essential oil. This is wonderful for a slightly flaky, scalp, and/or, dry, scalp and hair and smells beautiful, soothing and relaxing. Now look at this. It'S so easy in my little measuring jar. All I'm going to do now is take a bottle. This bottle here. I'Ve made a pretty label because I'm going to give it as a gift, you can make these for gifts all times of the year or you can just wash out an old shampoo bottle that you already have at home. So in it goes like so. Oh, my gosh, it smells so so amazing and that is it coca, not milk, lavender shampoo for dry hair, absolute perfection,

Dana: I think I'll try this! Thanks for the recipe!~Dana

Lucille M: Loving this I am doing it for SURE!!!!! Love you Sophie!!!!

Muse Amuse: you are absolutely perfect, thank for the great organic shampoo recipe

Ati: I'm new to all the natural skincare, shampoo, etc...I've been researching on DIY shampoo and at first i thought its so easy, but then i read ALOT of scary stuff about using castile soap on your hair because of the PH and that you wont feel it at first but with prolonged use your scalp gets flaky and itchy and so many horrible things...would you please tell me how long have you been using this shampoo and what you do to prevent your hair and scalp from any damage(i know about ACV rinse, but anything else you suggest??) you have amazing hair so i would trust whatever you say, thanks:)

Emily Bodenhoefer: Does the shampoo have an expiration date since you used the coconut milk?

Julia Steuber: Hi Sophie, thank you for this great idea, I really love your channel :-) You are a true sunshine :-) What kind of coconut milk do you use? It looks so liquid...Here in Germany I only know the creamy one for cooking. Can I use that? :-)

Aracely Rosillo: Does this shampoo thicken? Or does it stay in a liquid form?

Track Myself To Learn Italian: Hello Sophie, the aloe vera juice you recommended was not available in Italy. So I bought an alternative aloe vera gel which claims 100% pure but then it says has Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Sodium Sulfite. it doesn't sounds natural to me. Could you please give some insights from your point of view? Very much appriciated !!! Thank you :)

Katie-Lee: Wouldn't the mixture be liquidity instead of stable?

J & J Vlogs: Thank you for this!

T: perfect, i would like to know how long does this mixture stay good? Thank you

Lori P: Is the Coconut Milk that you are showing pure coconut milk or does it have other ingredients added?

Mark Success: i like this but in my area all this essential oils are scarce, i even went to the stores around me i couldn't find and the only oil i see are castor, olive oil. so can i use either of this oil to replace lavender essential oil?
