African pride they're not gon na play and I'm just really thoroughly impressed for the price point, especially college students, cheap people, whoever you are okay, African pride, hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's Lexie and today's video is a hair video that was a horrible intro. This is gon na, be my review and demo of the African pride moisture miracle collection. Just just just came out. I received this product in my car box, which I pay for every single love. So it's not sponsored you guys always ask me about Karabakh, so I will leave a link down below to the curlbox website, so you can check it out and look up and read up all the details for yourselves in this club box. It'S pretty freaking dope. We got a pretty cool, we got some conditioners, two conditioners, we leave in an oil and then I went to the world natural hair show in Atlanta whoa. It was freakin amazing, so I actually met or approached the booth, the African private booth booked in a little bit and your girl got one of the stylers for the free game. I wanted to review to start the whole collection and I wasn't able to stop. I didn't want to like not put a style in the video. I didn't know how to do it. I was super happy that she gave me a styler and I asked her about the shampoo, because you guys asked about the shampoo and the shampoo it's not out. Yet apparently it will be out by the end of the month, which is approaching like this weekend, so we'll see how that goes, I'm just putting a little disclaimer, it's okay! First of all, I'm very tired it just two in the morning I just came home from watching adventures I'll, let you guys know how much of a frickin nerd I am. I went to watch Avengers on Thursday night at 10:30. So and I work in the morning. So, but I'm here so my hair is going to look a little bit more full and fluffy than it was in the takedown Clips, and you guys all we want to know how my hair holds up in the humidity I live in Miami, so you guys can See how my hair held up it still looks pretty poppin, but we'll get into the review in just a moment, because one more disclaimer these parts contain silicones, I believe, all of them, if not the majority of them do contain silicones. If you're new to my channel, I don't like silicones, but I always tell you guys that I use products for you guys to review. Let you know how I feel about that, regardless of my preferences. So I would not use these items on a regular basis because of the rampant silicone throughout all the products, but I want to test it out for you all and give my honest opinion. On top of that, you guys my number one question. Little a number one question is affordable, hair care. You guys always want to know about affordable care, hair care like all the time. So I felt like this is the perfect opportunity to showcase a very affordable, a very, very, very affordable brand and see if it's poppin and it just might be it just - might be poppin. I mean look at my hair on it through that review. If you are new here subscribe, like get your freaking life like the video, if you love me and if you don't love me like the middle anyways, because you might learn to love me so, first and foremost that pre-poo okay, let's get right to nitty-gritty when five Minutes already, oh my gosh there pre-poo. This is the moisture miracle aloe and coconut water detangle and conditioned pre shampoo, it's supposed to minimize breakage for natural coils and curls, and has no parabens no mineral oil, no petroleum and no sulfates and the first couple of ingredients are water, aloe, glycerin, coconut water, etc, Etc - and this stuff actually did soften up my hair, it did give me some slip if I finger detangled a little bit with this. If you wanted to use a wide tooth comb, I would do that with this. It directions say to put it on to dry, hair and my hair was extremely dry like embarrassingly so, but it did soften my hair up and it did feel like a nice little treatment prior to shampooing after a little bit finger detangling and pulling out some shot. Hair I went ahead and shampooed my hair with the mile organics exfoliating shampoo, because my scalp was dirty like and dry and just a mess. This part I did like it. I don't feel like you need it, but we'll get into that in a moment, but I did like it did feel like a serum on the hair that smooth my hair down and soften it up a little bit. So I do understand the purpose of it and it did do what it claims to do after I shampoo I came out of the shower. Obviously, and I applied a conditioner now there honey, chocolate, coconut oil conditioner did come in the curl box, but I did not use this on my hair because they already had another conditioner that I chose to use so yeah. I did not try this product, I might be giving it away in my giveaway, which reminds me my giveaway is going to be on the 28th of April, which is a Saturday which might be like in two days. Oh, my gosh so 28th at 10 p.m. Eastern time I'll be having my giveaway. My 10k kandi kinks live extravaganza, I'll, be answering your questions and just all that jazz so make sure you subscribe. My channel with your post notifications turned on so you'll know when the live goes live, but it will be at 10 p.m. Eastern on this channel like alright plug is over. So I did I tried this out. I didn't even open it. I went ahead and hopped in with the heat activated mask now. This part is for natural, coils and curls. This entire line by the way guys has no spare Band mineral oil sulfates or petroleum or petroleum, which is important for you all that care about ingredients. I think for the price point: I'm not sure what they cost. I saw on their Instagram, I believe they're like $ 4 and change at Walmart, which is crazy, like the stylers, I'm not sure about the shampoos or the conditioners, but the style is for sure. I saw on their website, I looked for you guys, they're about four dollars and change. So if you're looking for affordable haircare, this right here might be it for you, like honestly, so with the heat with a mask. It'S possibly financial, coils and curl with Moroccan clay and shea butter in my first gradients are water, glycerin, cetyl, alcohol, shea butter, coconut oil, some other alcohol, grapeseed oils, rustle clay, the props all smell good, they all smell different, but they all smell good. When I first applied this to my hair, my hair did not feel like I applied anything that was moisturizing, it's letting it for the clay mask. It felt like something cheap, like literally, but then I put on the heat cap. Dryer attachment, thingamabob err. Okay, I can't think of the name which I always see it on the screen right now and I put that on my head, i sat under that for about ten minutes with my dryer on high heat and we'll see in between high and low I kept changing. I was getting too hot, but wow after I use heat. This was really activated like it's called a heat activated a mask and it really was activated like after I used heat on it. So I think, if you're gon na buy this, make sure you plan to actually use heat before I put heat on it. Is anybody how to slip? It didn't really have anything like amazing about it, but once I put that he kept on my hair felt like it had a luxury treatment, so I was like really really really really really impressed. What I want to have a product that I can't use without putting heat on it personally. No, but if you are someone that uses heat every single time, you wash your hair, you know during your deep treatment process, you might pick it up and like love it because it really did soften up my hair after I use the heat. I think I left the dryer on a little bit too long, because the crown of my head got dry and I felt like kind of brittle, but then once I put water to rinse it out softened up and my whole head felt like I got a luxury Luxury treatment so definitely has slip after you apply heat. I would also apply water and make sure your hair is wet when you apply. So when you put the dryer on it, won't dry. Your hair out, my hair was kind of like damp when I apply this. After I rinsed out the conditioner, I went ahead and used there five essential oils with vitamin E and it's supposed to have castor, grapeseed, argan, coconut olive oil. Let'S read the first five on the actual ingredient list: those are coconut oil, olive oil, soybean oil, grapeseed oil, castor oil, sweet almond, oil, avocado oil, vitamin E, okay, okay, so I went ahead and put in the leave-in cream with coconut oil and baobab oil and once Again, it provides intense moisture and helps repair, natural, coils and curls. The first few ingredients are water. Shea butter, the stir in grapeseed oil, coconut oil chloride. I like this, it is thick, it is thick, it is creamy. The smell is okay, it's not anything Crazy's or whatever, but this is a thick thick, thick, um, cream. Okay, it's very thick! Your hair should be wet if you're going to try to tangle with it. So that's one tip I will say, but I have no complaints about this line at all. Like I'm y'all, I'm shocked because I usually I'm just so y'all on picky and if you new here, I'm very picky, but next we have the curling cream. Shea butter and flaxseed oil rose a shape, hydrate and add shine for natural coils and curls. First few ingredients are water, grapeseed oil, glycerin, shea butter, coconut oil, flaxseed oil, safflower oil, etc, etc, etc. I, like it, it's thick its creamy and my hair looks and feels very good. The one thing I will say is that I was pretty heavy-handed, as I was styling I just felt like I was gon na, have a good hair day. So I add a lot of product and I thought okay, this cheap any more of it, no man, no man, no man, no man. I had a little bit of flaking in the front part of my hair and, like this part of my hair, a little bit not too crazy. You probably can't really tell on camera. Actually I could really really tell when I was first twisting untwisting. I was like a little bit white cast, but right now I put some all of my fingers. I don't even see it but don't be heavy-handed. The products are very thick they're, very creamy. They work well together. Just don't don't overdo it like I did left my mistakes so Lexie. What should I spend my coins with 11 and the styler, those two, the curling cream? Those two are really really really really nice. I would not buy it a pre-poo cut. I don't like to pre-poo, so I wouldn't waste my money on it. But if you are a pre-poo girl make your own like come on, but if you want to buy a pre-poo, it's a nice pre-poo, it's nice if it felt like a homemade treatment and it did do what it claimed to do. But personally or i buy believe in and styler, I don't really too much care to buy a bunch of oils. I don't too much care to have to buy a mask that I have to heat up for it. To begin to work on my hair, I want to apply it and instantly feel joy. Okay, that's one thing I will say, but it did work after I apply the heat as directed okay, so once again I will buy believe in and the curling cream. For short, no, no, like no question about it. If I was a silicone user on a regular basis, comment down below and let me know if you get curlbox, if you received your call box, if you're gon na try it out with me, let me know kind of a little. If you like the products, you want to try it for yourself. I think my hair came out mad cute. I think for the price points guys and I think from now on, when I get all these DMS, I see me about cheap hair care. I will direct you guys to African pride and I will link y'all my video okay, because give me a thumbs up, subscribe and I'll. See you guys in the next one you

KandidKinks: Notification GANG where y'all at!??!

Rachel Nason: I use their Shampoo, Leave in conditioner, the Oil,and the Curling Cream. Ya'll, this stuff is cheap but works better than all the other more expensive products I've purchased. The only product that I don't like is that chocolate conditioner.

Demelio U: The African Pride Pre-Shampoo is the truth, it really helps with cutting down detangling time

Keyana Hood: This line is my holy grail, even before this line i used to use the olive miracle, and shea miracle. African pride and Africa's best are my favorite inexpensive products.

Confusiusd: Cheap person checking in here: I love that line✨ . Looks hella cute, smells like almond pudding, jampacked with good ingredients, not too much of the harmful and best of all it most definitely works.

Christina Craven: My daughter is bi racial I was having a hard time finding a product perfect for her hair type which is super tight curls I am in love with this product out of everything that has been suggested nothing worked I will use this product faithfully!!!!!!

C Johnson: Never tried the shampoo, conditioner or masque. I LOVE the leave in and curl cream. I've never experienced flaking though. I don't think we're cheap, we just choose other things to spend our monies on!!! Lol

Cassandra Spears: The Africa Pride is working for me, it is really helping my hair grow!

Renee Knight: I purchased the leave-in conditioner last week and I am loving it!!!

Doretha Mcelliott: I got this line also in my curlbox, the heat activated mask is good for me since I'm low porosity and heat opens my cuticles to allow moisture to get in, I also tried the liquid leave in instead of the cream since I have fine-medium hair strands, but as always you that you keep it 100

Thrift InLuxury: I’ve been using this brand since high school later on evolved to other products but I’ve always came back to it And 4/5 moths ago I stopped at Walgreens and seen the coco and honey shampoo and conditioner on sale grabbed 2 of each I’m that girl buy in bulk they smelled so delicious and a cream have yet to use happy I have them in my collection

John JohnRN86: So glad you did the video. Thanks for mentioning when the shampoo is coming. That pre-poo is insane. The smell, the price, the size......they did the damn thing. Soooooo shocked. Especially from African pride. I been using heat so I don’t mind the silicones until it gets warmer in Brooklyn. That chocolate conditioner smells Divine!

Vladika Jones: African Pride is my Friend Love their Shea Butter Leave in conditioner; So easy to Detangle. Paid under $4 for it from Walmart

Jordan: T. Thomas omg I tried their curling cream cause I buy my products by ingredients and looking at their ingredient I was like whoa that’s pretty good for a £4 product. Plus my hair smelled like popcorn which I loved, fast forward and I’ve bought everything except for the deep conditioner cause my Giovanni 2chic deep conditioner is bomb (£8 for 700ml from TKmaxx) and my kinky curly knot today come clean shampoo deals with any silicon problem that may arise. But the PREEPOO IS LIFE!!! need to stock up before everyone realises and the price increases

Thomasine Douglas: Thank you for your time, honesty, and information you put into your videos. Your hair looks very healthy and I love your hair styles. Your videos are appreciated. Continue to be Blessed and follow the Covid 19 guides for safety.

keoni _: I just bought their curling cream and the 5 essential oils bottle. The oil makes my hair feel really soft and I was surprised! The curling cream left my hair soft too. I'm a fan :))

karen horton: I Finally found the pre-poo in one of the Beauty Outlets that I frequent I came back to re watch your review. Thanks so much! May I say Your skin is luxurious

R G: using too much causes flaking, i overdid it the first time thinking it was like other leave ins and curing creams. A little goes a loooong way

Paulette Simms: I'm 67 years old and my hair was a little dry so I went into the store actually I was online trying to find one of the best products for most of us in my hair too I've been using it for techniques as find my hair feel much healthier So I think I like your text I'll use your country using it and see how important it is I didn't know that I go here I thought it was a moisturizer

T. Thomas: Cheap....no ....frugal,dear. I don't have to be "cheap" to not want,to spend all of my money on hair products that come out every week for $20 per product. Their pre-poo is everything and works waaaaaaay better than CD, Shea Overpriced Moisture...and all,the other white owned brands

Kay Maia: i love their products. my hair eats it UP and it smells so good. leave my hair shiny and soft.

quenquen: This is one Curlbox I wished I received! I have been waiting on your review! Putting these on my to buy list. I need some good cheapie staples that I can just get out of Wal-Mart or the hair store. Thanks!

I'm catching up on ya vids so don't think I've forgotten you. ❤❤

Tiffany the black code: Today Curlbox has a non subscription and everyone is stating it's this African Pride. So thank you for doing your review. I wished I would of viewed this before purchasing it. I hope some of the items are different

Brittany Edwards: Literally seen this line in Walmart today I should’ve gotten the pre poo and the mask

Renee Johnson: “Cheap people” I’ve heard really good things about this line. Yes you can put a plastic cap/bag on your hair but it’s not necessary. However, It does provide protection because the heat isn’t directly on your hair. Your hair looks cute and the definition was nice.

Hairs Roxy: Hair, makeup and accessories! You look amazing!

Mimi's Craft: I love african pride great products with very pleasing results.I don't know about other 4 type beauties but it works well for meIm cool with being cheap more money in my pocket

adriana walkes: So far ..I love the smell ..they smell great .. I have to get that curling styler and the essential oils and the masque ..so thanks for the review !!

Keda’s Black Alliance: I am not a curlbox subscriber but I do purchase their non-subscription boxes all the time...they about to come out with the Lavender Box from Camille Rose...I recently gotten the Deva Curl Platinum box...love curlbox

Toya Chaney: I just saw these products in dollar general . I wanted to get a review before I bought it . I have the same hair type as you do and it’s a struggle to find one that works .

Tiaraaaa: I got the leave in cream its bomb

cherrydoll: "Cheap people" or maybe people who have common sense and know not to spend hundreds on your hair...

Keesh Rose: Hey girl! New subbie here. Yes use a plastic cap with those bonnet dryer attachments. It's like if you sit under a hooded dryer. You don't like silicones but ma'am they like you. Your hair looks so freaking amazing...I want to try them but it will probably be a few. I'm about to put some twists in my hair.

Alexus Jackson: I love their pre poo mad detangling skills.

Dejanai Simon: I loved the pre poo, but hated the masque and leave in smh

TaB BlAcK: Yayyy, you're doing the live! I can't wait, watch how things turn out 4ya!!

Kat Natural: Yes, you want to wear a shower cap when applying heat. However, if you have a hair steamer, no cap needed.

Vanessa Deogratias: Does this leave-in work well with low porosity 4c hair ?

Carmen S.: Loved the review! I've been eyeballing these products since I saw the curlbox. Question tho - why did you apply the oil before the leave in and styler? Do you generally not use LOC or LCO method? Is that just what works for your hair? Thanks!

Deidra Renee: Love your hair . That oil smells like delicious candy

Sade Mc Alister: I just used the exfoliating shampoo today lol I needed some dirt removed and that shampoo is thick but the brand product junkie Naturals had a good sale everything was five dollars and they had like 7 deep conditioners all cater to different needs

Carmencita Davis: i buy the hair products infusium 23 and they cost about 5 or 6 dollars and it helps my hair a lot

Simmy tan: It works good I use it to slick back my hair.

Andrea Salmon: I DID LIKE THE AFERICIAN PRIDE PREPOO SHAMOO IT DID GOOD ON MY HAIR WITHOUT WETING MY HAIR AND I DID NOT LIKE THE SHAMPOO AND CONDITONER FROM THIS LINE

Mrs H: just saw heat activated deep conditioner trying it out this weekend...!!

tracy bedford: Thanks for sharing. Your lipstick/gloss looks amazing!!!!

Garota MLH: Your lip gloss and skin are so beautiful.

EmrldTeddy007: The chocolate conditioner is TRASH!  Dries out and strips the hair.  Please don't waste your $!  The moisture mask is only slightly better.

Brittanie Russell: yes, you were supposed to use a plastic cap hahaha love you girl!

Amber Denise TV: I just tried the conditioner and the leave in (i wash my hair with black soap so i don't use shampoo) ..honeslty i wasn't impressed. My 4c curls were like "wtf miss?" ‍♀️ maybe i need to get the whole line or atleast try the prepoo idk...
