Finger Coils On Short Natural Hair 4C (No Gel)

Hey everyone is Myka, thank you guys so much for tuning in to my channel. This video is gon na, be all about how I created these finger coils in my son's TWA using no gel at all. So, as you guys know, I am a huge fan of kinky tresses products. I'Ve used them multiple times in previous videos and I have full confidence in them. Working in my son's kinky hair, so I'll be using them for this tutorial as well. So we're starting off with freshly washed conditioned and deep conditioned hair and we're going right into styling. So the first thing I did was saturated his hair with water. When you're doing finger calls. You definitely want to get your hair as wet and damp as possible so that it's ready to be manipulated and it's flexible. Next, I applied a generous amount of the coconut mango hair butter to his hair to saturate it and keep it moisturized and soften it as well, and I sealed in that moisture with the kinky tresses nourishing hair oil if you're a parent. That'S really conscious about the types of ingredients that you put in your child's hair or your own hair. I definitely recommend kinky tresses. Their products are made with completely natural ingredients and they work in various textures of type 4 hair. So it doesn't really matter if your hair is like 3c 4a or full-on 4c going on for Z, it's really going to work to create the coils, take small to medium sized sections of hair, then detangle that section with a comb or just with your fingers. Since this section is so small, then you're going to roll the section between your thumb and your index finger once you have it rolled all the way to the point that you can't roll it anymore, then twirl it around your index finger and repeat until you get To the end, you're, basically 12, it around your index finger, but before you twirl it, you roll the actual section between your thumb and your index finger. So here's a close-up of that motion roll the section between those two fingers, your thumb and your index finger. Then twirl the whole section around your index finger then you're gon na roll, it again and twirl it around again. So roll twirl roll twirl. If you're doing it correctly, your section should stay coiled. Once you release it, once I felt certain sections of his hair getting dry. I just applied some more water to reactivate the product that I already applied to his hair as I pass my hands over them, they're not unraveling at all, so to unravel them. For a more fuller and voluminous look, all I did was separate those coils into two sections, the more you separated the more tiny individual coils you'll get, but I just like to separate at one time so that it can last throughout the week each of the coils Have a lot of shine to it and I'm super happy with the results.
