What'S good Beauty getting so today, I'm gon na be showing you guys two different safe methods of blow-drying, your thick kinky natural hair. Without any heat damage or any you know, repercussions from applying heat to your hair so getting started. I section my hair into four sections. Then I apply my Shea moistures you're, making black castor oil leave-in conditioner, and I do this going section by section. So, starting with the first section I apply it, then the next section I'll fly it and so on, but yeah for right. Now I'm starting on the first section and then I'm going to go ahead and use a wide tooth comb to make sure that my hair remains detangled. And then I'm going to go ahead and section off my first piece of hair that I'll be blow-drying and now you're gon na see me at my shy iron guard, which is a heat protectant spray that I apply to each individual section of hair. Call me crazy, but we ain't getting no heat damage over here. Okay, now I'm gon na go ahead and detangle with a Denman brush to make sure that both the leave-in conditioner and the heat protectant spray. It has coated each strand of hair and then it's time to use the first method, which is the tension method. So you're gon na go ahead and pull your hair taut and then you're gon na aim the blow-dry directly at your groups and then gradually bring the bull' dryer down the strands of hair and you're gon na. Basically just pull until the section. That'S dry it about. Halfway through then you're gon na go in with the blow-dryer and start actually blow-drying your hair. Now some people choose to just do the tension method by like continuously pulling your hair taut and never going in with a brush to actually blow-dry it. This is just how I do it, but if you want to do it that way, you can do that as well. It kind of still have the same effect I just like to go through and brush it to make sure all the tangles are out, but yeah. So that's the tension method. The benefits of it is the reduction of manipulation and breakage. Now, as you can see after my first section is done, my hair is super soft decently lightweight. So I was pretty happy with those results now on to the next section. I'M speeding it up only because I just told you guys the steps it's pretty easy. You'Re, just gon na apply the heat protectant then blow-dry, your roots as the tension method goes and then, if you want to use my method of actually going in with a brush and blow dryer to try to make sure all your kinks and tangles are out. Because you have thick kinking out your hair like me, which I highly suggest you can go ahead and do that and just a quick mini length check for any of my old G's or those of you guys who have been following my natural hair journey this last Year since my mini big chop, you guys can see that my hair has grown substantially. I can't wait to see for myself how it is when I Flatiron it next month. It'Ll make a year since my mini chop, so stay tuned for that and yeah moving going. The reason I decided to show two different methods is because I know everybody that has a blow-dryer doesn't necessarily have the comb attachment that can come with it so yeah. The first method is the tension method and the next method that I'm about to get into is basically a blow-dryer comb method. I don't really know what to call it. It'S really just blow-drying your hair, but I did realize that my hair gets a lot straighter and flatter. When you have the comb method, I mean not pin straight but straighter than what a brush and blow dryer would do. As you can see, it's a lot flatter. It'S a lot more tamed even with bad in. So that's what I really like about the comb attachment by using the style of blow drying. I didn't do anything different than how I first started off with I, of course applied the leave-in conditioner to the big section of hair. Then, when I went section by section, I went ahead and applied the heat protectant and now I'm just going in with the Glo dryer comb. Rather than going through the tension method and all that other stuff - and I will say the benefit of this style of blow-drying - is that your blow drying time is basically cut in half like a zoom through the other side of my hair. Compared to when I was doing a brush method, so I mean that's always a plus, also just a quick tip to if you have think kinky hair like me, you want to go ahead and hold the blow-dryer comb where the attachment and the blow-dryer meet so that It doesn't fall off cuz. If you have thick hair girl, trust me, it will fall off. Okay, but yeah. That'S just a quick tip, but, as you guys can see, my hair is extremely full has hella life and, although I do need a trim, which is why I'm blow-drying it in the first place, it looks decently healthy. So I was really happy about that really happy. It'S a growth that I've had and don't worry. I will have videos coming very soon on how to grow my hair this past year and all that good stuff. So I really hope you guys enjoyed this video. Please don't forget to Like comment: share, subscribe, ok and until next time, guys bye,

Isimeme Edeko: LONG TIME NO SEE! I'VE MISSED MY #BEAUTEGANG!!! I'm bacccckkkkkkk!!!

Chance Versace: Quick, concise, and to the point. Your hair is smiling back at us! Beautifully!!! Go girl!

Lucky🍀: Everytime I attempt to blow dry my hair I always get lazy at the middle of the process then give up it's too tiring.

elliethousand: I have thick 4C natural hair which is prone to tangling so washdays were a complete nightmare and I lost so much in breakage. I found a combination of your method completely by accident. I use the comb on the dryer and tension method with a detangler and that's been a miracle for me. Finger part the hair, then dry by starting from the bottom and gently work my way up the section causes the hair to detangle. Before it would take up to three hours to detangle and dry the hair. Now I do it in an hour maximum. The difference is amazing.

Sim Simas: Yes! Finally! Please note how she used products to moisturize/soften and protect her hair. Please, dont blow dry your hair with nothing on it. Heat opens up follicles with low porosity. Use that tension method! Put that cream moisturizer on it. Job well done!

Erica Fields: Girl I just blow dried my hair and it looks so good!!!! Thank you so much! The last time I blow dried it was last yearly and I did NOT know what I was doing! (I’ve only been natural for 18 months)

Esmeralda: Your curl pattern is so nice

Amor Antasia: Omg finally a tutorial where I actually have the products and can do it!! Can I feature you in my next video?! I wanna try this live !!

Iam Nay: The Shea moisture saved my hair so much it’s transitioning on the left because I had heat damage but the right side especially the back ! My curls are so beautiful now ❤️❤️

Elizabeth M: I love your results, thank you. I’m going to do this instead of flat ironing. I learned the hard way that I can’t just allow my coarse thick hair to dry naturally because it ends up looking like a rats nest and the ends look horrible. I’m positive that your technique will give me the results that I seek because I used to do something similar in the past and my hair was very manageable

Cecilia Chambers: Was looking for the best way to stretch my daughter's hair and came across your video. Thanks a bunch, we'll be trying this!

tbhvivian: This was really good and helpful! Thank you ❤️

Belinda Charles: can't wait until my hair gets this long and healthy. Beautiful Isi!

Deborah Olu: Sis you are my biggest inspiration lookin back at your old video bc my hair is this long now and I feel like i have hope growing it to where you are at ,you did thattttttt!!!

Lulu S: Gorgeous! Heading into the bathroom now to wash my hair. I needed a safe method and this was great sis! Thank you!

Victory Musa: Your healthy hair journey is

Nathalia Simone: Yess girl, yess girl, yess ! Love the results, your hair is looking soo healthy (with the little exception of the little trim you said you needed) . You better work that ! This was very helpful, I'm soo happy to have a tutorial from someone who has similar hair texture and curl pattern. Yess girl #BeauandBeautegang #Teambothofyalllol -Signed your YouTube bestie (&yes I'm claiming myself lol )

ThriftyBeeNatural: Literally came on her to get motivation to blow dry my hair! thanks sis!

Candace Howze: I love how shiny it looks even after you blow dried it! Will be trying this soon

Nappy Bunny: I've noticed that you used a bandana to hold the dryer, which I'm assuming is because it gets so hot. I used to have the same problem. There's a Kiss Red handle-less dryer you can buy that stays cool, so you can use the comb without burning your hand. I love it!! I think you can get it at Target now for about $20, which is 15 bucks or so cheaper than when I bought mine a few years ago.

Sheen Boo: I love how you put that due rag on the end of the blow dryer that's so smart I literally burn my hand every time I blow dry my hair

Percy Muocha: You just saved me hours on my hair day

Priscilla Matuki: The growth is an actual madness thooo ✨. Well done Isi

Sairandipity: well for starters....your hair is beautiful and well taken care of before you started straightening it. I want to straighten my hair sometimes, but find it hard to maintain moisture. You do an amazing job!

Rasheeda Amarillas: Great video and looks very similar to my hair. Your tips are very realistic. Thank you!

Ken Fn Boxing HL: Thank you, This helped me a lot, next time I get cornrows I’m going to blow dry my hair before hand because the braiders are very rough with the blow dryer and brush and cause breakage.

Introvertsan: This is very helpful helped me to blow dry my hair for the first time very easily after switching to a smaller blow dryer than a much bigger one. My blow dryer comv was falling off, going to tie it next time.

Lily Colour: Stunning!! This is an amazing tutorial

jessica bainter: Hello, your video is awesome, I just got a new client with super curly hair and the first time I blow dryed and flar ironed her hair it took me almost 3 hours. Hopefully next time it goes much quicker using your method. Thank you

Katina Kamal: I literally started doing the first one by accident bc of laziness lol. But It's so much easier!!

Shanté: this is a really good effective way to blow dry natural hair I'm loving it Isi

wendy edwards: You can protect your hair so much better by using a concentrator nozzle when using the tension method, it serves as a cushion between your hair and direct heat.

Frojab Sis: This video helped me alot. I just finished my hair and it isnt burnt or dry. Thank you! I'm a new subscriber

Angel Love: I know this was 3 years ago but thank you so much for teaching me to do what I thought was impossible
