Hey guys, so I get a lot of questions about um. What my favorite products are. What products do you use - and I question a lot so I'm about to upload an update to my regimen, like how I wash my hair and that kind of things I'm about to upload that, but before I upload that I kind of wan na do my favorite Products, video first nothing's, really changed. We get the question so much. I feel I need to update it, so I think that I'll be good to do before I do how I updated how I wash my hair video that way, you guys have an overview of all the products that I use now, the first product that I use. I I love everybody always asks you read and asked me to do an update about whether I still use it or not. Is a terror essential hair wash now? I don't have that with me because I'm out of it, I just moved back to Massachusetts from Maryland and what I love Merrill and I used it all up and I kind of kicking myself in it just go and pick some up, because the store is in Maryland but saw that so I don't have any of that to show you, but I do still use I still love. It still works for my hair um and you know I haven't replaced it like this. Don'T love that part that I didn't go to any detox. Honestly, I just used it like a normal shampoo. Like I didn't change anything I didn't use it like three days and forties. I didn't use it like a certain amount of days in a row and in the detox is mostly for people to use a lot of synthetic ingredients in their shampoos and stuff, and you need to detox your hair with the tear essential blood wash to get through. All the layers of all that synthetic chemical, like all the plastics and silicones and all that stuff it takes a while to penetrate through all that, so the detox is mostly for people who don't use water, natural products, and I use a lot of natural products. So I didn't have to worry about that. The hair wash dissolves natural products really easily, so I just used it like. I would use anything else for being on see. I still love, tear essentials and yeah we're trying to show you what you'll see it when I do mind how to I wash my hair updating video another product that I am still using shea butter - and this is an old coconut oil container, I use a lot Of it, as you can see, this is like I mean I use this stuff for everything for twist outs watching goes. I use it to seal in the moisture i spritz my hair with water, and then I use the shape of this yay. I love this stuff. Another product that I love to use is my flax, Joe of course, and the shea butter, the Flex shoulder homemade terressentials you've got ta buy on line up with the link in the description box, but I have a video on the shape of our Anne on the Flex gel, as you can see it's kind of just like it could be kind of consistency here and now. I use this on styles that I want to sling back like if I'm doing a bun or something like that. If I have a wet style washing go to define the curls I'll, also use it on twist out, sometimes if I want those to find on mini twice, this is really nice on setting your made list too. So I really love flex gel the other products that I use is, I guess, you'd call homemade. I don't know it's not really product just oils. Now this is the mixture of jojoba olive oil, castor oils in here avocado oil, sweet almond, oil, vitamin E. All that goes in here. I love this stuff and I put it always nice little applicator bottle because I like to use this on my skin. So when I get out the shower, I'm just going to spritz it all over my body. If I want to use it for my hair, I just take the applicator put it in my hand, just apply it that way. This little applicator bottle works wonders I love to stock. Up on these, I get these from Oh beauty store. I really like to use this on my skin, because when you got a shower, you know it's kind of its kind of annoying to put on lotion anyway, and since I use oil, like that's extra, going to like pour the oil on your hand - and I like Spill whole base. It makes a mess like this helped so much you just went squish it on your body and then just rub it in real, quick in it. It'S just so perfect, anyway, oil stain another product of use. These aren't really buns, like homemade things um, and the last thing that I use on my hair water and I just spritz it on my hair and day and night to keep my hair moisturized. I'Ve also been adding in a little bit of all Barrow juice, so I'll do um, half water, half aloe vera, and just it's really nice. So my hair soft and it makes it feel really nice and it helps the ends too, because you know, as your hair gets longer, it gets more dry um. You know my hair is getting pretty dry, so I have to make sure that I add something else to my regimen. I guess that's it. Those are all the products that I use um again, if you have any questions, but how I'm going to keep my hair moisturize. I have a video about that, and you know: homemade products have videos on how I make all of them, except for the oil. It just makes a bunch of us together. I hope that helps stay tuned. For my new washed regiment, I've got something else that I'm working on to to help condition my hair. It'S really really awesome. I love it, but I'm not going to mention it right now, because I'm just looking at testing it out hope you guys enjoy it. I'Ll talk to you later, bye,

FruityPebblez77: I COMPLETELY agree with you. She's my favorite because she's so real. Everybody else is trying too hard. Good point

Authentic Brooklyn: Hey Nap, I love your videos!! I'm not even really sure how I came across your page but I sat here and watched all of your videos today! I am in the process of going all natural now. I haven't done the big chop yet because I've only gone 3 months without relaxing my hair. I'm thinking I may take that leap around Thanksgiving. But anyway, your videos are really helpful and I am going to start making my homemade products soon. You have given me a lot of ideas!! Thank you and keep it up!

Valarie Gorham: You have so many helpful, healthy hair tips for me and my 7 year old daughter! She has your exact hair texture, 3C/4A. I was so rough with her hair because I had to learn how to do her hair texture. I have learned to be gentle and have been using some of your techniques and now her hair is half way down her back, almost navel length. My go to style for her is twists. I can do so many cute styles for her with twists. love your swim hair care and can't wait to try. She's such a fish!!! Thanks.

TheCurlyGemini: Digging the You Tube shirt lol!! I love that you don't fill your hair with gunk...I'm all for simple and homemade products. My motto is I should be able to use it on both my skin and my hair, if it's toxic to any part of my body it should not be used to begin with. Blessings <3

2010msjoan: I am so very encouraged. I grew my natural hair out a year ago and I am so glad. Now onto natural products so that it will continue to grow. I absolutely love your videos. Keep up the awesome work.

whowhatwhenwhere: I love love love love you videos, they're so helpful! I showed a few to my step-mother today and she is going to try a few things that you mentioned in some of your videos even though she is relaxed but she has extremely long healthy relaxed hair I will definitely be continuing my usage of terressentials hair wash! thanks so much, please do not stop making these videos 2.5 years natural

mzriley10: I'm a subbie and love your vids!!! Thank you so much for the flaxseed gel recipe!!! I share it with everyone I know!! It seems like once I started using it my hair began to reject a lot of the other loaded (and expensive) products I was using. So now for me, simpler and homemade (et al cheaper) is best.

Ketchme17: I've been using half water half aloe vera for a quick refresher for my face in the morning and I love it. So many of your homemade concoctions can be used for almost any part of the body; it's so versatile.

Pure-Tay Health and Wellness: Thank you for taking you time out to do these videos I have been natural for 51/2 years with dread locs but making my own products I have not tried to do thanks for your tips this great for my daughter she is three and my hair also. Thank you again and God Bless

Tori Loy: I just found your channel via Taren's channel and I am sooo glad I did. You have answered so many of my concerns & quelled my doubts abt starting the journey. Thanks for being so naturally you...it is rather encouraging. You don't find that everyday on YT. It's a rare commodity. Like a girlfriend just talking to you real talk! Be blessed! I am definitely a new subbie!

Krisita Whitelocke: Your hair is A LOT like mine, so you're my new favorite! I don't use any heat on my hair except the conditioning cap for deep cond or pre-poo trtmt, so I was looking for a way to stretch my hair. You have great ideas! We have about the same length, but your hair is much thicker than mine. I'm trying the Bantu knot out today. Thanks so much! Keep up the awesome vids!

Shiriluv: Love your hair! I am newly natural & would have NEVER thought that I would go natural but I was tired of the breakage & 2 textures so here I am, just goin 2 go for it. Anywho..my issue is dryness & I need some guidance on how to use products & in what order & combination. I've seen a many diff videos but I'm so confused. Okay..here is my list of products. Raw Shea Butter, Aloe Vera juice, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Eco gel, Shea Moisture CES, Giovanni shampoo and cond. Please help! :)

Renee Brown: Hi Natural85! Thanks for all your awesome tutorials! Your hair is beautiful. Question: How do you store your homemade butters? Is it okay if I leave them out on th counter or in my bathroom cabinet? I assume they last very long since oils and butters separately take years to spoil if ever.

sweetjackies: I've been natural 6 months and have been trying sooo many new products. Your video was a pleasant reminder to stick with what works and in this case it is better to keep it simple. :-)

InLoveWithNatural: I love how normal you are in your videos. I have watched a lot of videos trying to find someone who was normal and not trying to promote themselves. Stay real!

caribbeanspice08: You have inspired me to simplify my regimen and go "natural" (product-wise) Still contemplating trying the terresentials wash, but have not decided as yet... Thank you for all your information!

vonni H: I just did my hair using your regiment and it worked out great.... Thank you so much..

glv456: I like that you keep you 'products' simple and use mostly homemade mixtures. It's a great departure from the "you must try this product or that product" mindset that runs through the natural hair community. I've run into other naturals who are trying to kick the PJ habit and I've directed them to your channel. :-) I've done the shea butter mix using your steps and I LOVED it!! I plan on trying the Terressentials and possibly flax gel soon. Thanks for sharing with us!!

YourBelovedPandora: You might also want to watch the temperature as far as the dryout goes. I totally dried my skin out over a period of time tacking SUPER hot showers. I went to the doctor about my dry patches on my arm, and he said change the water temperature. Once I did, I was a lot better of. Dry patches when away. Water's a give and take

J4L4N: @JadedeaJade I know you weren't asking me but your hair is doing what it was designed to do. Your hair curls up b/c that is what it's supposed to do and instead of fighting it embrace it. Choose styles that hide it until you can grow all those shorter hairs out. You and your hair are beautiful just the way it is and doesn't need to be slicked back or hidden. :-)

LolasCurls: I totally agree that aloe vera juice is SO GOOD for the hair! Thanks for this vid! ♥

Snook19138: You're naturally beautiful. I love your channel and you're an inspiration to the natural hair community. God bless you

gigishair4u: You are amazing! Will be using all theses products on my daughters! Referred one of my best friends to your channel and she made the shea butter mix for me and i love it!

straitNnarrow2012: I like how her approach to products is very simple. I can't keep up with all these new products promoted everyday on YouTube lol

babynae00: Love it! Thanks for the update! Can't wait to see more!

crystalsclassy: So simple! When I'm done using up all of thise "stuff" I have in my cabinets, maybe my favorites will become that simple :)

Nope: I just want you to know that I am truly just tooooo appreciative of your showing us that essentially find your staple items that work excellent for your hair and body health and be minimal . a lot of youtubers tell us to go and by the store . I use all natural products: braggs acv honey rinse , TERRESENTIALS ( which I will get to ) , as I am dc ( which is store bought but all natural because im not really a mixtress ) , and shea moisture ces ( mixed with jbco and evoo in the container .

lustrous08: Wow! I can't believe that's all you use. I be going crazy wanting to try every product I see since I did my BC! Maybe I need to try fighting the urge and limit myself to just a few products and start a regimen because I have yet to do that! Thanks for sharing! =)

TheGrannys2: Love all of your videos. I use the aloe vera juice mixed with my conditioner. Never thought of using it with water. Thanks for the tip. Granny

Renata Webster: I had the same problem for years. I used to be able to treat it with a homemade deep conditioner, then wash it it a tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner and then use jojoba oil when styling. Recently over the last few months nothing seemed to work anymore, the back of my scalp was so dry it made my hair brittle and I had lots of breakage all over. I decided to try Dr. Sebi Hair Food Oil and it has made a huge difference with just one use. This is the only thing that made a difference lately.

kaykay63: Ya know, I like that you get straight to the point (instead of unnecessarily talking for 10 min), give good tips, and seem genuine. New subbie :)

babybrat925: I'm always happy when I see that you've made a new video lol, thanks for takin time to give us all helpful advice.

Nikita Marie: Terressentials saved my hair! and so have you for introducing it! (:

devisedbyinspiration: Oh I agree with inLoveWithNatural. You are my favorite YouTube Stylist. You keep it real and we learn a lot from you. You have a kind persona and are confident yet humble. Well wishes and congrats on your baby.

Térésa Scotland: It's so wonderful that you keep it natural!

divinelynaptural: Thank you sis! I Have few products as well that I use. Natural oils and preparations are best. I just made a batch of flaxseed gel and I'm telling you it is better than that kinky curly curling custard anyday!

DestinyC1020: +Naptural85 Very simple!!!! ^_^  I love the fact that your regimen and your products are so easy and so simple.  You don't even have a ton of products that you use!!!  That's probably the secret to your long hair growth as well. :)   I'm definitely taking notes and will use your regimen.  Question though....What do you use for a deep protein treatment though?  I notice that every once in a while, my natural hair will need some protein.  I currently use Nexxus Emergencee (which I love), but what do you use on your hair?  Is there a natural equivalent?  I've heard of some people using eggs, but I'm worried about how it will work for my hair.    Do you never use hair conditioner now that you are using the mud wash?  Do you find that you don't need it anymore?  Also, do you never use commercial products anymore? What diffeference have you noticed in your hair?  Sorry for all the questions....I'm just so curious!

1coco5: Awesome there's one component you left out that effects the health of your hair that I'm sure you pay attention to - taking care of what you put in your body: food. Hopefully you'll mention it next time on how important eating healthy. Others may add cleanses and exercise. Thank you a mil for sharing more love you help others to get closer to their lovely state.

flawedbeautyy: :D I was just about to ask how you conditioned! On the other hand, I use Audreys Organics conditioners. Have u tried their brand? Most of their ingredients look ok, and work "ok". Anywho, can't wait for ur next vid! Your my fav hair guru ^_^

EtherealSky7: Thanks for the update! I can't wait to hear about your conditioning experiment.

dsugartwist: Can you list all the oils in your applicator bottle pretty please. Thanks for sharing. I've also started putting half aloe vera gel and water in a spray bottle for moisture too. It's pretty awesome.

Janice Michelle: I tried the flax gel and my hair looked and felt just as good as when I used kinky curly, so needless to say I will use that, but my question is how do you keep it fresh? I didn't put mines in the frig and something was growing in it, I got rid of it. Thanks

Forgiven817: Hi, I am new to the community :-) I saw your videos & fell in love with your consciousness of natural hair & products. I was wondering if you think terressentials detox shampoo would work for me? I am concerned because when watching another video someone said it made their hair so dry. I have colored locs ( bad move) & they have been very dry lately and I used a product that coated it with silicone and contained sulfates which added a neg complexity to my problem. Would U recommend it 4me?

BJAMES154: I love your videos very informative for someone like myself I just went back natural no more chemicals for me

Elle DC: i just ordered the mud shampoo, i'm a little intimidated by the detox process, but I used a shampoo that completely stripped my hair of all oils and I was so uphappy with it. Shea Moisture, but some of their other products are great.

AllNaturalPisces: Love your vids!!! You have a really positive energy about you!! :)

Sunshine Good: you are my favorite and you have made me go health conscious. now i do all natural stuff and my skin and hair feels healthier. thank you you are God sent to me.

saRob0304: I really hope you do a length check soon! :)

heartbreakeroxx: Thumbs up if you follow this regimen and LOVE it! :D

Eve: Aloe vera juice here I come!!! Lol. Your hair looks sooo healthy! thanks for the video :)

SBlackmon10: Hello...I mix 100% olive oil and 100 % coconut oil in my 100% shea butter...and it becomes a creamy consistency....I love it!!! The moisture/shine is there and my curls are defined :) Hope this helps

Peta-Gaye Watson: Nap, thank you for showing us what I believe is the shortes fave products list ever :). What do you use as a conditioner? Do you deep condition? If so, how often and how? Finally, do you ever wear your hair straight?

Shawnee11759: I love the ponytail or hair style your wearing can you do a hair tutorial on it. :)

Polar Bear: heyyy please do a tutorial on that style?? its soo CUTE!!

fabjordan40: Can't wait to hear about the new conditioning product, because the terressentials is the BOMB!!!!!! Thank you sooooooo much!!!!!!! Keep the information and your vids coming.

Chocolit16: YOU MAKE ME WANT TO GO NATURAL...LOVE UR CHANNEL!!!!!!!!!!!

ms. lo_pe: @WINorLOSE86 I have used them in the past. I tried the hair milk shampoo but my hair felt really nasty afterwards. I've tried the lisa's hair elixir and the rosemary mint shampoo. honestly I switched the products after the bottles were finished.

tallbeauty1: Hi! I live in Md and was wondering where in MD did you purchase your Terressentials organic hair wash?

Nappalious: can you tell me how do you store the flaxseed gel after you make it, whether in the frig or cabinet, and what is the shelf life?

itsmearie: Have you tried using water, aloe vera juice and vegetable glycerin in your spray bottle mix? I love it!

ruby14444: Wow this is very informative Thanks so much for taking the time, gave me some great ideas, I just bc'd so I'm at that beginning stage of trying new products

Natural Remedies Coach: @herSUNchime She does make great videos. I just found her a few weeks ago so Im having a grand time watching these and the dear naptural85 vids as well. this right here is better than TV for me.

Lauren Washington: you can wear high buns and cover your uneven textures with a headband! or do braidouts so your hair will be all curly, and you can do bantu knotouts, and other good styles

Spressatura66: There's also a store in Frederick, MD. If you have any questions about Terressentials, send them an email - they are very helpful, even on a Friday night!!

Irene In the Zone: Great video! Looking forward to the next video on how you wash your hair.

britneyar2014: Hi. How long did it take for your hair to start hanging?

Yanna D: I also use the Swanson Extra Virgin Organic Coconut oil.

1960genius: U r awesome...best hair videos on YT! I appreciate everything u give to us here.

BE BE: Love your videos. How often do you deep condition?

3 Awesome Kidz: I really enjoy your videos.... I am starting to use homemade stuff both on my hair and my daughter's hair... I did start taking biotin... don't know how that will affect me just yet... waiting to see.

WINorLOSE86: @naptural85 Are you familiar with "carol's daughter" products? Have you, or someone you know ever used them? If so, what is your, or what was their opinions of them? Thanks. :)

missdmisty: Thanx for the tip on the aloe vera juice and water! Bought a gallon jug and wasn't really using it. Very helpful.

S. Moss: I have a simple question. What kind of detangling tool do you use (comb, brush, or fingers) or do you use a combination of things to detangle your hair?

Tia and Sharronda Bowles-Simon: How much of each oil do you mix together when creating your mixture, also are there more oils that you use that you did not mention in the video?

JadedeaJade: what do you do if your hair crawls? my mom always said my hair was difficult to slick back because it crawls. Ive used shea butter and lets jam to slick my hair back but in seconds youll see it crawl back to a curl position. same thing happens if i do that and wrap it over night. *sigh* all of the slick back hairstyles make me look like the wild and crazy 9 year old i was back in the day. :/

rellovesinstruments7: Oh my gosh I’ve only seen your recent videos this is so crazy to see this video of you!

Dee Cheaa: Hi, I have been natural for a year and I love it, but with water makes my hair dry. So what should I do or use ?

The Natural Hair Vickyvue: You are truly 100% AU NATURALE, I say this because you only truly use all 'homemade' natural products, o.k. for the exception of the treessentials, but that's organic right? lol That flaxseed gel is awesome, gotta try to make it. I think I favorited it as well as your shea mix. Love ya girl, keep those vids comin' Oh, love the t-shirt btw-lol

LaQuasha B: Hi. First of all I would like to say I love your channel and all of your videos. I just have a question. Do I have to cut all my hair off to go natural? I haven't had a relaxer in about a year or so and the back of my hair has completely reverted itself but the front is still a little straight. I'm very unsure of how to approach this. Your help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Vanessa Shorter: I love your videos and you hair is beautiful, thank you for sharing

Daylight3000: Hi! I love your videos. Where do you buy your shea butter? I live in the UK and was wondering if you can recommend where I can buy some online.

Abmar: i wet my hair also but when i do i ALWAYS apply olive oil to my hair. I dont just put water in my hair. or use whatever oil works best for your hair.

VioletMichel Hart: I wish I was like your best friend. Seriously, you have such a sweet soul and you could help me workout. lol

caribbeanspice08: Quick question: do you still use the other shea butter mix as well? the creamy moisturizing one?

The ProFASHIONal Teacher: Its hard to not pay attention to your hair length when you see other people start their hair journey the same time as yourself. They have at least at ponypuff or more but my hair is just...idk its depressing. Eventually I am going to change my hair because it breaks off in the same spot, therefore it thin and sparse. The funny thing is I get so excited about other people's growth but mine its a wrap!

The OfficialBlacklaceMakeupStudio: hi i really love your vides. Recently I decided to go natural so Im kinda like in the transition phase. I just want to know, can i use a deep conditioner that i bought at the store, and mix that with a home made deep conditioner (eggs mayo and honey)?

Mia Katharine Myers: @LynnMonroeTV Yeah, the Shea Moisture shampoo made my hair hard too :( I've pretty much come to accept that my hair doesn't like shampoo, so I'm back to co-washing.

Osas O: How do you do a hair "detox"? I want to transition from using synthetic products, to natural/organic products.

Jacqueline Weaver: hi natural85 i love your vidoes very informative, im learning alot about, my 4b hair im lovng it, i love my curls you have helped me alot

Faces by Laa: thanks so much for the update! I follow you faithfully so this info was greatly appreciated.....xoxoxoxox

disenchanted1982: what type of oil would you recommend to use for dry scalp? the question is for everyone...

BRAT Dancehall Queen: Do you still Deep condition even though you use the mud shampoo?

Terricka Bias: do a tutorioal on this hairstyle plz!!! in this vid!

Basirat Olorunlambe: Do you use any other hair products that are not homemade and they actually worked for you, or are just good products?

pisces28loveable: @bbnne1 Thank you so much I will do that when I take out my twist :)

shawkb77: Hi Girly...I would love to see you do a length check on your straighten or flat ironed hair. Are u going to post a video of ur straighten hair one day? Ur hair is beautiful:)

pfirsch77: What are the proportions or amounts of the oils in your oil mix?

Ms Minding My Business: Hi! I love your videos but I have one quick question where did you get that water bottle from?? Thanks :)

TheRedgenius: Thanks for this!!!! I love your channel

Sophia Nance Morgan: What are your proportions for the oil mix?
