Hey guys, so i recently tried rice water after hearing about it. For the longest time a bunch of people had asked me in previous videos. If i ever tried - and i was like no - no no - and i really wasn't interested in doing it, but i just kept seeing it and so curiosity got the best of me and i was like. Let me try for myself and see what the hype is see. If it actually works, so i did a little internet searching because i wanted to find out like what is it about rice, water that is so special. What is it about rice, water? That makes it beneficial for your hair and i came across a site. It says rice: water is rich in antioxidants, minerals and vitamin e, which can both protect and prevent hair damage. So i pretty much did an experiment. I told myself i was going to use it for a month and see if i noticed a difference with my hair. If my hair grew dramatically or anything like that, so i documented all of that. I did take measurements of my hair right before i started the rice water like the day of, and then i took measurements again four weeks after i did the first treatment. So i did it for a month and let me just say before i even get into the details and all of my results, i could not believe the difference that i saw. I was so shocked at the results. I really did not have high hopes for it. I really didn't think it would do anything to my hair, but it definitely did and i'll tell you guys all about that in just a minute. But before i get into like what i noticed, the changes that i noticed i'm going to go ahead and start off by telling you guys the process that i did all the products, all the ingredients, all that stuff. So the first thing i did before i even started is: i just wrote down what i was going to do for the month and make sure it was consistent. I wanted to have like an ironclad process. I wanted to make it the same every time i did it so what i did was. I took some rice and i used organic brown rice. I took about a quarter cup of that and i put it in a bowl. I filled that bowl up with some warm water and i just went in and i pretty much agitated it with my hands to wash the rice. I drained that water out and then i put that rice into a glass jar. I filled up that glass jar with some fresh water. I used about a cup and a quarter of water in this jar. This was room temperature. I put the lid onto the jar, i gave it a good shake and then i put the jar into one of my cabinets in the kitchen. I closed it, kept it in the dark place and i let it sit for three days and during that time the rice will ferment, you will get the rice, water, magic happening and you'll also see some like foaminess some bubbles at the top of the water. That'S how you'll know that it's ready it's fermented and it's good to go once you take it out. I want to say this stuff stinks. Okay, it really reeks. I know some people put um things in there. Rice, water, like essential oils and stuff like that to kind of mask the smell and make it not so stinky. The first time i tried this. I did put some lavender essential oil in mine, but i noticed that it just smelled like funk and lavender. It did not cover up the smell for me. So after that point i was like i'm not going to waste my essential oils on this treatment. I'M just going to deal with the funk and let it be that because y'all know essential oils can get a little pricey. So i was like nah, i'm not going to waste my essential oil on this. I just walk around with a funky head for a little while. So that's just me all i had in my rice. Water was literally rice and water uh, but if you want to put stuff in yours, be my guest once i had my fermented rice water, i took that and i poured just the water into a spray bottle and the way that i applied it to my hair Is i just put my hair into four sections? Four large sections. I took one section down at a time and sprayed it. I really saturated each section with that rice water, like a lot, so it was drenched. I would take each section and make smaller sections and really get in there with the spray to get my scalp to get my roots to get all of my hair down to the ends and then once it was pretty much soaking wet from root to tip. I would twist up that section: do like a bantu knot to keep it up and away, and i will move on to the next section. Until my whole head was completely saturated with the rice water, then i took a scarf and i tied it around my edges. Just to help keep the rice water from dripping all down my face and all over the place, and i would leave that on my hair for three hours. I just let it soak in set, do its thing - and i just did my usual business, this stuff around the house, while that was working now after the three hours was up, i went ahead and made my deep conditioning treatment and what i used for that is. My aussie conditioner and i also mixed in some olive oil. I did about three parts conditioner to one part, olive oil, and i really mixed that in. I really mix the olive oil in with the conditioner, and after that i took the scarf down. I would take down each section one at a time and slather that conditioner mix onto my hair right on top of the rice water really work it in get the ends get all of my hair and then i would again twist up each section put it into A bantu knot and then once my hair was full with the conditioner. I put on a plastic cap to really lock in my body heat and deep condition, and i put on a scarf around the edges to hold it in place and to keep it from dripping. And i left the conditioner mix on my hair for an hour after that hour of deep conditioning, i would go into the shower and do my full wash so i rinsed out my hair really good first to get the conditioner to rinse out the rice water. After that, i just took shampoo and i washed my hair washed. It really really good got in there with my fingertips to get the dirt off my scalp and all that, and after this step, once i washed with shampoo my hair, it didn't smell bad anymore. So if you're worried about the stinky smell lingering from the rice, water, don't be alarmed about that because it does go away once you actually wash your hair and then once the shampoo is out, i will go ahead and detangle my hair. So, while i'm still in the shower, i just put it back into those four sections. I took some more conditioner this time, it's just straight out of the bottle, and i added a little bit of conditioner to each section and i gently detangled from the ends of my hair, going up to the roots. Take an elastic band, put it into a ponytail and i planted the hair to keep it detangled. Once all four sections are planted, i went ahead and rinsed out the conditioner, and that was all i did just let my hair air dry from there. So i did that routine every friday for four weeks i started this rice water treatment on july 17th, the last rice water treatment i did was august 7th, and then i measured my hair the week after that on august 14th. So i measured my results exactly 28 days from my start of the treatment on july 17th. So now that you know exactly what i did, let me tell you about what i noticed and go over my measurements. So the first thing i noticed from the very first treatment was how much more manageable my hair was. I was very like astounded at just how easily my hair was able to detangle in the shower. I have like a routine already down, and so my wash days are pretty pretty easy, but with this rice, water treatment, my wash day was even easier. I just felt like my hair, cooperated so much more. I wasn't struggling to get out, pesky tangles like it just it just flowed, it worked also. Another thing i noticed right away from the very first wash is how much less shedding i experienced. I made sure before i detangled my hair, that my detangling brush was absolutely clean. It had no hair in it, so i could see how much hair was lost and um. When i took the hair out of my brush after i did my wash routine. I was like what in the world i'll show you a clip here of how much hair that came out on the wash day and to me. That'S not a lot at all, because i'm used to having like a handful of hair coming out every wash day and just to see that little teeny ball of hair um. That came out that shed. I was like, oh my goodness. Maybe this rice water is working. Each week it was the same thing i really wasn't shedding that much hair, definitely not as much as usual. So i was so happy with that. I was like wow so that stood out to me. My hair was more manageable and also a lot less shedding. Even at the end of the week when i was about to do the next treatment, just taking my hair down handling it, it was like night and day from what it usually is, because during this time i mostly just wore my natural hair in a puff or A bun or something like that and when i was due for the next treatment, i would take that puff down and put it into the four sections. So i could spray my rice, water on and even just doing that taking my puff down sectioning off my hair. It was a breeze normally if i were to have my hair in a puff for the week to take it down. It would be like matted, tangled all that stuff, and it was not like that at all, and the only thing that i changed in my routine was the rice water. So i'm gon na say that that helped with my manageability now as far as hair growth did it accelerate my hair growth. So just a little background, my hair does not grow very fast slightly more than a quarter inch per month. Everyone'S hair varies, but i kept finding online that the average growth rate is about half an inch per month, so my growth rate is slightly less than the average rate so to best compare my hair before the rice, water treatment and after the rice water treatment. I took three measurements. I measured the length of my hair right in the front. I took a piece from the front. I measured the length of my hair right from the side and i measured the length of my hair from the back. So i started with those measurements and i measured those same three pieces at the very end of this experiment. So when i started the piece of hair in the front was 14 inches. The piece of hair on this side was 14 inches as well, and then for my hair in the back. That piece was 13.5 inches long now i will show you guys what those measurements were after the rice, water treatment, drum roll. So for the front piece, my hair. After four weeks of the rice water treatment was 14.75 inches, which is 14 and three quarters of an inch long. My side piece was 15 inches and my back piece was 13.75 inches or 13 and three quarters of an inch keep in mind. I just told you that my hair on its own, when i did my calculations, it only grew about a quarter inch a month and that is with like really good hair care. So what i have found is that during this month of the rice, water treatment, my hair definitely has grown way more than usual for the front. It grew three quarters of an inch which is unheard of for me. That side piece actually grew a whole inch in a month now for the back piece that one it started off at 13.5 inches and it ended up 13.75 inches, so that one did only grow about a quarter of an inch. So i'm not too sure about that measurement. Why it's a little less than what uh the other two were, the back of my hair just historically, it requires way more attention. So i didn't get super crazy out there hair growth, but i definitely saw a bump in what i normally would. I certainly have retained more length in a month than i have ever done. Also i almost forgot to mention my hair has never felt so strong anytime. I handle my hair, i'm usually losing a few strands here and there i'm usually getting some breakage some hair coming off in my hand. Nowadays, once i have been doing this treatment, i really don't get breakage no hair on the floor, like my hair feels so strong and healthy, and it also feels softer. So just overall, i really like how the rice water has been reacting with my hair. I really think that it has been super beneficial to me. I know some people have said that they tried rice, water and it damaged their hair or they had really bad results with it. So i'm just sharing what my experience is. The results they are. You know they vary person-to-person, but i just wanted to come and tell you guys what i thought and what happened to me. Y'All know i am not one to blow smoke, i'm not one to sell you a dream. So if i am um blown away by something, then i really like i'm really rocking with it, so i will definitely continue doing this moving forward. I'M not going to do it every week, though i think that might be a little overkill, but just for experimentation purposes. That'S what i was doing, i'm thinking about doing this every other week same conditioning wash routine, but just spacing it out a little bit more i'll. Keep you guys posted on this. If anything changes, if i start to notice like a downturn in the health of my hair or the look of my hair, anything like that, i will make an updated video, but for now i have had nothing but positive results from it. There'S really not anything bad that i can say other than the smell is horrific. If you live with someone and you try this, you just have to just let them know like i'm doing my hair treatment. It stinks. Please excuse me, but that's pretty much. The only bad thing about it and the fact that you have to wait three days for it to firm it so yeah, if you guys, have tried rice, water. Let me know what your results have been. Let me know your thoughts on it. Leave that all down in the comment section, i hope this video was helpful if you guys have any other questions. Just let me know thanks so much for watching and i'll catch up with you soon on my next one, bye

watch it anyway: I like that you get straight to the point, instead of first telling us you went to the groceries store and while you were there you saw your auntie and your cousin whom you find super annoying but tolerate them because of those family gatherings.....

Chicken Person: Tip: Make the rice then get two jars. One for the water, and one for the rice. Then once the jar with water runs out, you can take the jar of rice and wash it again! You don't need to get more rice everytime. That's a waste because you can just wash the same rice up to 5 times before it stops to work.

Alecia: I did exactly what you did for the rice treatment and my hair grew 1 inch each section! I was so surprised so thank you for the video and detailed information on the rice treatment. My beginning measurements were: (front) 4.5 inches (side) 5.5 inches (back) 3.8 inches. In two weeks my measurements are: (front) 5.5 inches (side) 6.2 inches (back) 4.5 inches! Woo! Found another method I'm trying out by adding orange slices and letting it ferment for 2 weeks now. Hope it works!

Chellee Sky Land: Watched this a while ago. Just got around to actually doing it tonight. Similar to you, my natural hair immediately felt softer. And my scalp had been itching for a day or so. The rice water immediately stopped the itch. So that was immediately noticeable as well. When I washed the treatment out, my hair was not as tangled as usual. So now I am waiting for it to air dry. But so far. So good! Thanks Kim for always giving us the good good!

Titus2Chic: Listen, Kim said y'all not about to 100 question her to death about this process ... sis was hella detailed, left no question unanswered. This was hands down one of the best reviews ever (of anything). This is how you do a review!! ;-).

Alanna: Sis really did a whole detailed scientific method we learned in school with this hair treatment

Sa Auset Tauwieret: That Aussie and olive oil deep condition alone worked great on my 3 year old daughter's DRY brittle hair texture. After one treatment overnight I washed it out the next sunrise and it was much softer and much more manageable! I had watched so many videos I forgot I was supposed to do the rice water first lol but that conditioner treatment stuck out in my mind. I applied it to her washed and conditioned (rinsed out) hair.

A G: Ok so i've done this two weeks in a row. But the second time, I'm so amazed by how different my hair is. Hair didn't shed as much but leaving the rice water in for 3 hours, plus conditioner for another hour actually straightened my hair, also my hair is soooo soft. amazing...

Noble Lee: I love how scientific and specific your research was. You did such a great job educating us for on this process! Thank youuuu

Z Beauty: Finally someone I trust reviewing this

SamaAndTheCosmo: I’ve been using rice water for 3 years since my bc and swear by it. I use it to prepoo and reapply twice a year before moisturizing. My hair has been longer than it’s ever been. Great review, straight to the point and very detailed!

Officialtiffb: When you use rice water you MUST moisturize your hair because its so much protein. If you dont thats what causes people to have bad results/breakage

Kendra Morgan: She makes the simplest hairstyle look elegant ✨

Sandy Me Myself: I would like to offer caution that letting rice water ferment for 3 days can cause protein overload and cause your hair to break. That's not to say you can't use rice water after it has sat for 3 days. You can dilute it with water before applying to your hair and scalp.. Please be careful of how long you leave 3 day old fermented rice water in. You can do 24 hrs and still get good results. But most importantly do your research first before applying this treatment. I followed this rice water treatment method in this video exactly as she demonstrated and my hair broke off in the middle and on the right frontside. I have kept my hair extremely hydrated but that did not stop the breakage. So be careful ladies.

Roz: I did not get as much length , but an INCREASE in strength/thickness, and less shedding. I use black rice , it has less of a smell <3

Alberta Danso: I literally paused the video, went to the kitchen to prepare some rice water, and came back to continue watching this video. Can't wait to try this out

Tammy Doiel: For those of us who have trust issues I thank you for your honesty.

Sarah Jay: I'm gonna have to try this. I shaved my head in November because it was just so damaged from 17+ years of dying it. Tomorrow is 3 months since I shaved it and I feel like with my hair being so short I'd really be able to see the changes when they happen

Lilac Teriyaki: thank you soo much for explaining how long your hair normally grows AND how long it grew with the treatment! so many people who do videos about it claim growth but never tell how long it normally grows and it's just confusing! also your energy is lovely! <3

V: I’m doing the rice treatment right now!! This year my hair was shedding so much and thinning. I hoping this works! I’ve also did aloe Vera and leaving that in my hair was night and day with one day of doing it!! Thank you for this info!!

Kimberly Frost Barry: I can't wait to hear an update on how this is going and how the heatless journey turned out.

Tamara: This is literally the single most helpful video I’ve ever watched on rice water for natural hair growth. GREAT JOB, GORGEOUS!!! ✨

Lin D.C: This is a REALLY detailed and well-done review! Bravo.

HeReigns3: Kim, I don't comment much on these videos (respectfully, everyone has something to say) but I am dropping in to say that I am absolutely, positively loving your blouse! And if I might add, you are wearing it well. I am a 54 yr old woman who follows your channel and of a truth, it's because I trust you and take you at your word. You've sold me on the rice water. On another note, I know you've heard it said over and over again and it's true; you really are a beautiful young lady who's poised with style and class. Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless you and the work of your hands. You are making a difference! ❤️

Andie Grace: Love this review! Thank you for this. I can agree with the smell lol, but I can also agree with seeing less breakage when I comb my hair.

katie Hodge: Thank you so much for a polished, professional and detailed review! I love your poise and production quality!

With Hart Creative Studio: This is ingenious. Thanks so much for giving us an inside look, and covering the process over time!

That Girl Marty! 11: Btw I would like to say finding your channel is HEAVEN SENT .... Your videos of what you ea in a day has taken my vegan game to the next level ....I spent hours going from one channel to another looking for recipes and making my shopping list ....it took forever ....this is because I didn't like everything people were making in just one video...until you! Thank you!!!! I'm subscribing !!! And putting up your videos on my vegan beginners group on FB

marika seymour: This was a game changer for my hair. However I only do it once a month it literally grew my edges back.

Chloe Riccardo: Have had a great experience with rice water I cut my hair 2 years ago I needed to for my ends in July 2018. 21/2 years later.....My hair is thicker, doesn't break off only a few tangles, it is longer and I definitely feel a huge improvement. I will continue using rice water forever lol. I love it and its such a huge blessing. I do suggest the fermenting process should be 1 day not 3 because that's where the odor builds up. I would say it should stay in your hair 30 mins to 3 hours is good. A day may be too long but that's perfect. It's fun watching the process.

Brittani DeTiege: This was super helpful and can I say, THANK YOU for doing all that work to give such detailed results. That was like a real experiment, and I like science, so I enjoyed your video a bunch.

Life blessing: She so thorough and systematic, I love watching from her. You learn so much!!

dolanati: Great info! I've experienced quite a bit of hair fall because of stress in the last year. I think a bit of self care with this rice water treatment will get my hair back to being healthy and strong. About the bad smell, I regularly make fermented rice crepes called "dosa" by soaking rice and lentils overnight and grinding it into a paste and fermenting it. The grains become stinky everytime I forgot about them and they remain in the soaking water for more than 8-12 hours. From my experience, 12 hours should be enough time for it to ferment without being stinky.

Kimberly Frost Barry: I tried this ( just bc of you) and felt like it's worth trying even if it's not consistent. I think it got me over my growth plateau. I'd love to know your thoughts on black rice water.

: Thank you for this very detailed explanation. I started this regime today. I’m going to leave mine in for two hours and a little less time on the conditioner because my hair is super fine and oily. I can’t wait to see the results. One tip I did watch awhile back was to add orange rind to your rice water after you get it into your glass jar with fresh water. If you are a few orange rinds and let it ferment at the same time it smells really good.

RLee: Great Tutorial on using Rice Water for your hair. Very detailed, educational and simple ingredients used. Rice and water. Thanks for keeping it simple and straight to the point.

J Banks: THANKS FOR YOU HONEST DETAILED REVIEW. I especially appreciate the details in your process, which helps. I’m starting today (my water has been fermenting for 12 days!) and can’t wait to see what happens. I KNOW that essential oils are pricey but some are good for the hair period. I did take the suggestion of another YouTuber and too the peel of an orange, along with Rosemary and Lavender essential oils, and let them ferment until I was ready to use the water, which is today! Super excited!

Aza: I love how in depth you were with your results. One thing to note is rice water does contain a high protein count so please be careful with how often you do it. Greenbeauty has an awesome video on her channel about the science of rice water you should check it out!!! Other than that I love how you gave actual results they do vary for each person. I haven't tried it because me and protein are not friends.

Curvygodd ess: Used the rice water before I did my protective style of box braids and I took them out today and noticed my hair shredded a lot but the growth is REAL grew two inches and it seems softer and curlier!! Girl yes!!!its only been three weeks

Selina Lee: I can attest and say rice water really does work. It makes your hair grow like C R A Z Y

Jalisa Hughes: Hey lovelies. I have a couple of questions: I’m sure this can be done on relaxed hair as well, but what have been your (those on this thread) experiences if you’re relaxed? Also, can any rice be used?

Diamond Johnson: Wow, this video is super helpful! I've been trying to grow my natural hair out for over a year. Your video is super helpful! Right now, living in a foreign country, I'm limited to what salons or stylists to go to. I've heard about the benefits of rice water but you completely broke down the review to the T! Thank you so much for this helpful video.

I AM SHANICE: Your hair has come a long way. I'm glad I was able to see where it's coming from to where it is now. I can't say the same for some of these other youtubers. The fact that you've tried the ricewater and your saying that it works I believe you and ill definitely try it.

Danneillia Scott: Hi everyone..today make 1 month and 1 week since using rice water and its really amazing...to the point..my hair is stronger, thicker and it has grown 3/4" at the front, 1/2" at the sides and a whopping 1" at the back...this is just incredible...thank you girl...I'll continue every other week as of now...

Hermosa Reina: I’ve been doing rice water since 2017. I shaved all my hair off then, as to date my hair is thick and at 32 inches long. It really works.

Sabrina Matejcek: I really like this review! it was very straight to the point and detailed. When I made my rice water I used orange peels to try and eliminate the odor, I boiled the orange peels with the rice water and left them in the jar while it fermented.. it honestly came out smelling similar to orange juice! I couldn't even smell a foul odor. I also kept mine in the refrigerator to keep the peels and rice water "fresh."

Maria: Amazing video! Love the rubber band technique in the shower to keep the hair detangled!!! The rice water made my hair feels amazing the first time I applied. I did only two applications every other week during a month and i had severe breakage and terrible ends! Even not being protein sensitive it all, my hair love some protein mask! But mu hair grew a lot! How crazy, huh? It was an understatement to think that the protein in rice wouldn’t be too heavy! If i had done it once a month, my hair would have had responded better to the treatment. After the shedding and breakage now I’m afraid to try it again! If you do this, try adding it slowly. Don’t go for weekly or daily appliance before getting your hair response!

Platinum Branch: I tried the rice water treatment maybe 2 years ago. And I tried it for one month also. My hair became SO STRONG and SUPER SHINY! I only fermented it for 24 hours and rather than using an expensive essential oil I used an orange peel, and NO ODOR. Because my hair was IMMEDIATELY more soft and shiny after one use I honestly didn't feel the need to continue using it (but did for only one month). It seemed to have a lasting effect after that month so I abandoned using it. My hair remains strong to this day. I will add that I do eat a healthy whole foods plant based diet as well. Hope this helps!

Kimari C.: This was such a great review. U have all the details we needed with no empty unnecessary commentary. I’m definitely gonna try for myself after this review. Hopefully i don’t get an adverse affect. Also ur super gorgeous! *Subscribed* lol

JeSuisSavvy: Orange and tangerine peels made my rice water smell Heavenly. I let the peels ferment into the rice water for 2 weeks then added rosemary + eucalyptus EOs with 1 TBSP of my homemade aloe vera oil

himari - Chan { neko }: From a curly sister to another, THANK YOU!

WhitneyStylez: You are gorgeous! I also love the quality of your videos and your editing. Thanks for sharing your rice water process. It was a bit different than many of the other videos I watched given the length of time you left the water on your hair for and the way you applied the deep conditioner right on top of the water.

Cara M: I have tailbone length hair & I love using this black rice water leave in from Etsy. Find what works for you, stick to it, & your hair will flourish hair tutorial please ma'am

Alexander Crimson: Okay so I'm new to this channel. And this is really good, and I love how this video was down to earth. I never imagined rice water being a thing, but that's pretty awesome. Also can I please know your skincare routine if you have one. Your skin is really clear and even! Thank you for an amazing video!!

Gaybriona Turner: New subbie. Finally a YouTuber that gets straight to the point

Crystal Clear: 1. You’re gorgeous, sis 2. This is super informative & detailed! I’m gonna try it ✨

Biliana C : I've actually experienced every result you did! Maybe less hair growth but more than my typical! The biggest change I've seen is my hair is stronger, and less shedding as well! I do it about every 2 weeks! To help with the smell try putting an orange peel in the jar when you ferment. Makes a big difference!

Sumeya Gibril: I tried this, and my hair grew fuller, longer, and thicker. Thank you

ardette dorsett: Love your scientific documentation and clear, explicit observances. Bravo!

shirelle anthony: Been using it a year and my growth is crazy. Grew on average an inch a week. U have to use right oils. Eucalyptus, lemon, clove, Myrtle work very well with masking smell. My son used on his hair and beard as neither would grow before. His locs and mine completely transformed

LadyJ Grady: I love the fact that you get straight to the point. It can be very discouraging when you see these videos that the claim overnight growth! And we know that does not happen. Thank you so much for your Truth and Thank You for showing the evidence of how the rice water is working on your hair. I have good length but very thin hair, and I am on a hair journey to not only grow my hair but to thicken it and strengthen it. You are a beautiful young lady and thank you once again I believe I'm going to follow yours.

Anita Jackson: My hair was so damaged so I starting using black rice water on my hair for 3 months and it transform my hair so much. It grew alot and made it stronger. Stopped excessive shedding and my hair so so much thicker now. Now I'm doing it bi-weekly with the black rice water and alternating weekly with an aloe vera plant for moisture.

Rashae Tate: I finally tried this and it does have a pungent smell. The way my hair felt afterwards was like no other!!!! Even days later as I was prepping for my box braids, my hair was extremely soft and nourished. Thank you for this honest review. I will implement this regimen on the first Sunday of each month.

Christine Cutajar: Love how specific you are about application and routine!

Jass M: Skin poppin. Hair poppin. Nails poppin. You poppin. ✨

JACKI3TAT3: Literally my new favorite channel. I’m trying to find my confidence back & just look cute again. Definitely starting with this rice water because this video is giving me life

mimo Vk: This is so true! i have tried it fermented before and lately just leaving the rice for 30 min because it doesn't smell then and my hair is super soft it already reached my thighs but it was pretty damaged before the whole rice water thing give it a try it is cheap and works wonders for the general health of your hair

idreamofmimi: You are literally a dream reviewer! You look great, give great information, no fluff, not annoying

MC M: I did try it and had the same results as you did with the exception that I added everything the Zao women did after doing extensive research. With the Pamelo peels and other ingredients I did not have any real order issues and when I did it plainly my daughter would have a fit about the order and it took a long time for the order to disapate. This formula did grew and strengthen my hair like never before. Thumbs up on your video

GiGi: You have me covinced! I will try it. Like you I was skeptical but the measurements you gave before and after pushed me to try. Also, you make doing hair easy and exciting and I used to keep it basic but now doing more styles. it works as shown. thanks!

I also added some of the rice water to my hair conditioner and after washing my hair I leave the rice water conditioner in my hair for 5 minutes every day with no problem!! It’s DEFINITELY doing something positive to my hair!!

C love You: I use mane and tail shampoo, conditioner, and detangling spray. It is rich in protein. My hair became easier to comb. With Petroleum Jelly, my hair stay moisturized.

Funny and cute cats world: Thank you very much for this upload. I've been researching about rice water and so far you nailed it for me. I like the detailed explanation without talking too much or going out of point. I normally don't watch long videos cause they just end up talking too much and leaving you more confused. But this video was just perfect. Thank you very much.

Tchnavia Davis: I had less hair shedding when I tried rice water treatment and some hair growth. I have heard that your hair porosity determines the frequency of how often you should use the rice water treatment. Thanks for your videos!

ADDYSHA JOHNSON: Love your honest and comprehensive review.

Kurtisha Jn.Baptiste: Very nice! Does this only apply to natural hair, or can it be used on relaxed hair as well?

SRG: Thank you for being so thorough! ❤️ Definitely going to try this

Teeenuh Beenuh: THANK YOU! This was right on time. I've been thinking about trying rice water and just stocked up on brown, Jasmine, and basmati rice for the fall/winter months. Your perfect, uncomplicated, straight to the point review was all I needed to give it a go!

ALEXIS HOLT: How often should you use this treatment? Every week or every two weeks? I typically Cowash and deep condition my hair every week, and use shampoo every week! Would it be too much to use it every week with my deep conditioner?

Kelly Nunez: You are STUNNING! Love your video and how you explained everything. Personable but yet straight to the point! Thank you..

Alecia Hines: So, I just did my first wash day using the rice water routine.... and I must say, I don't even care if it actually speeds up my growth rate; the fact that my hair felt so smooth and soft and detangling was sooo.... much easier, is more than enough for me; anything else at this point just would be bonus. Lol. I only felt the rice water on for about 40 mins before adding my deep conditioner though and that seems to still work for me.

Stranger 17: Fantastic video! Straight to the point & very informative...thank you!

Seraphina SB: Yeah My hair grew 1 inch as well when I tried it. I ordered it and it had other herbs in it as well. I also noticed no shedding and my edges much stronger.

smb437: This was a great video. I tried this after watching your video and I watched another video to figure out how to avoid the smell. The Yao women ferment the rice water with pomelo peels. After soaking the rice in water for a couple of hours, they strain the rice water and boil the water with pomelo peels. Then they store the rice water and peels for a few days and up to several months before use. I used orange peels instead, stored my rice water for a week and the water smells like oranges. No funk at all! I have the treatment in now so I’ll have to come back and update with my results.

Jill Harder: This was super helpful and i can't wait to try it! Thanks for being so thorough!
