Good morning everybody so i have, i should move this plans out away um i have had a few of you guys ask for an updated hair routine. On my instagram, i kind of documented me trying out some new products through lockdown and i've really changed. How i do my hair lots of you followed me: do the whole no poo low poo thing reduce the amount of products i'm using, and i really loved doing that really made my hair a lot healthier. However, recently i've been following a lot of people doing the curly girl method and i found it fascinating. I don't follow the curly girl method. I don't wash my hair with conditioner and i don't like do all the things that um you're supposed to do, but i have learnt a lot about wavy curly hair that i didn't really know before. One of the things is actually using styling products because i used to just let my hair dry naturally and then use oil without further ado, i'm going to show you what i've been doing with my hair recently some products, i'm loving and what's different because i have Changed it up, so my hair is in a bun right now it is. When did i last wash it? I usually wash my hair every five or six days, it's been about five or six days. I i have the worst memory. I have forgotten when i last washed, my hair. Let me have a think when i was washing my hair. Ah, i washed my hair on friday. It is now wednesday, so friday, saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, so five six days, yeah, that's usually my hair is looking a little bit like it needs a wash, though it doesn't actually get greasy like it used to the more you push the days out between your Washes the more you'll find your hair kind of does its own thing. Often my hair will be greasy one day, i'll style it and then overnight put up in a bun the next day. It'S actually looking fine, but it starts to get a bit frizzy around. This point so we're gon na jump in the shower and wash my hair hello, i'm in the shower. So as much as i would like to keep you there, i think i would destroy my camera. The revolutionary products are bounce curl. I have run out some of their products, which is not the best, but i thought i'd film this before they completely run out, so i've got their clarifying shampoo and i've got their moisturizing shampoo. So these are obviously formulated for curly, hair and wavy hair come on focus um. I use the clarifying shampoo first and then i use the moisturizing shampoo when i repurchase them. I'M probably just going to stick with a clarifying shampoo because i do have wavy hair, not curly hair. So this is maybe a bit too bit more intense for me, so i actually prefer this one for my hair type. Usually, i'd also use the conditioner, but i just ran out of that, but i also really love this hair mask from vinna, which can also be used as a conditioner on the back. It says: leave on five to ten minutes, then rinse thoroughly use weekly or as an everyday conditioner after shampooing. So this is my good friend sarah nurse's company, and it is really really lovely product smells delicious and vegan cruelty free. So no silicone, there's no parabens, no sulfates highly highly rate this product. That'S all i do in the shower. I know there are lots of methods and ways of washing your hair, but i'm very boring - and i just wash my hair. I do always do a double cleanse, so i wash like i said once with the first shampoo then again with the next shampoo. I always do that. I'Ve always done that because i find my hair doesn't get clean on the first wash and then i use not too much conditioner, but just the right amount through the ends. I detangle my hair with my fingers. I don't use a brush or anything because i don't really have tangly hair, then i will show you what i do after the shower. So there is the shower done. My hair is soaking wet and one thing i've learned from the curly girl method is to use styling products when your hair is soaking wet, it doesn't work for everybody. I'Ve tried using these products. My hair is a bit sort of towel dried and i find for my hair. It works so much better. When i use some of these products, my hair is literally just out the shower. I haven't put a towel on it at all. So first thing i'm going to use is the bounce curl, avocado and royals oil clump and define cream. This video is not sponsored by bounce curl um. It'S just a matter of. I saw this recommended by somebody and i bought loads of their products and they've worked. I will probably try out other curly girl, wavy hair products in the future, but for now loving these ones - and i just made an order - i think natura, lipstick or naturalissimo i'll leave a link below where you can buy this in the uk, so i'll use about That much a little goes a long way and i flip my hair over. I usually do this literally in the shower, so i don't get the whole bathroom wet, but i do this flip. My hair over i'm gon na do it over the bar and then i just using praying hands, as the curly girl community says, swipe it through my hair leg sue. So i coat all of the strands of my hair. Sorry, the lighting isn't the best, and you can hear this is the noise that everyone goes on about being a good noise to have hear that squelch. It helps to put products in when your hair is squelchy, like that. Don'T know why. I think it's because it locks in moisture, but i do this, give it a bit of a scrunch and actually i do use my fingers to kind of rake through my hair, because i find more hair comes out as you can see. I know this is gross, but hair does come out. If you don't wash your hair. Very often, don't be afraid if you start washing your hair less that you have more hair come out when you do wash your hair, that's normal hair loss is normal. It'S just that you can wash it in a week, then it's going to be sitting in your hair um. Next i use the bounce curl light cream gel with aloe vera and nigella sativa. I'Ve just ordered some more of this because it's nearly gone so hopefully there's enough for this video, but i don't go easy on this. Like i use quite a lot, i'm actually worried. There'S not gon na be enough, but um. I do use quite a lot of this. I use some now and then i use some in a little bit later, so when it's wet, it really helps to clump the waves together. I do the exact same thing i just did with the other product. What i also do for a little bit of volume is i kind of do this on my scalp to get a bit of gel in there and to lift the curls off my head, so it doesn't like lay flat. Just like you do when you shampoo your hair really, and you should find when you do this, that clumps start to appear. So you see how the hair is like coming together into wavy, clumps or if you have curly hair, curly clamps. So once this is done, i get a microfiber towel. This is actually a hand-me-down. This is one that alex had and i just use it now um. I just wrap my hair up and then i clean my teeth. Do my skin test and then i'll come back to you. I just do it loosely. I don't do it tight whoops. I missed a piece um. The reason these towels are good for your hair is because there's none of those coarse textures that are in normal towels and you'll, find that you'll get less frizz and less breakage, so highly recommend a microfiber towel or if you don't have one use a cotton t-shirt Like a big oversized t-shirt - and i was just about to expose my boobs to you - so i think that's about time to go - there's been about five minutes. Sometimes it will be ten um, i'm gon na take my hair out. It'S really not dried it. It'S just got rid of the drippiness, which i find will weigh my hair down and also just get my clothes wet um. This has officially finished. So this is a great review for this, because i've used the whole bottle um, which makes me sad because i'm i usually use like quite a lot extra now. So i hope this video shows the true effect, but i think i can get enough out so just bear with me. So i've tried to get as much out as possible, but um i used to be the sort of person who thought why the hell would you put gel in your hair? That'S something you did in the naughties. You know back of the t-noses where you gel slick your hair back. This is life changing. I don't think you need an expensive gel to do this. I haven't tried other gels, but i know other girls use very cheap gels that work perfectly well. I think the thing that's maybe more important to spend your money on is your shampoo and conditioner and maybe um your cream, because those are going to have like moisturizing benefits, but this is literally just about holding the wave or the curl so yeah i. This is amazing, this one literally 10 out of 10, but i'm sure there are other ones out there. That are great. So i just basically do the same thing. I did before give it a good scrunch, but you can hear now there isn't that squelchy noise, because my hair is a lot more dry. You want. You want to put a lot of the product on when it's squelchy, because if you just put the product on now, i feel like you, wouldn't really do much to your hair. You need it to get into your hair. You can see that all the waves are there, so the idea is when it dries. We should stay so i have been doing all of my styling upside down now. I part my hair. This is the one bit that i would like some tips on since doing this method. I get very flat at the back here. I did just order a mousse, i'm thinking that would help it to sort of lift the roots. I think because i'm putting styling product in it and letting it dry when it's so wet it's weighing down this part of my hair. So i get a very flat bit at the back, which i don't love, but i try to remedy that. But when i'm drying it, i do this, so i dry it to one side. Half an hour goes by and i very carefully flip the hair and give it a bit of a judge at the roots. So i will do that for the next few hours um. As it dries, i have to go out now. I'Ve got things to do, but i'll be back later, when it's hopefully dry and completely done, and you can see the results, but this is what it looks like wet i've, just kind of loosely parted it another way. I try and remedy it is make the parting kind of go slightly into the middle at the back. So there's like a bit more volume there. I don't touch my hair in between now and when it's dry, i literally it's done scrunching and i, if i touch it now, it just creates frizz. So all i do is like i said flip it flip it as it dries and i'll be right back the magic of vlogging, and i am back my hair - is dry a bit concerned by how it looks only because i have been outside in the rain and The humidity, so i actually haven't even looked at it in the mirror, i'm looking in the mirror now, but my hair is completely dry. Let me show you what it looks like now. So can you see my whole head? This is what it looks like now, and this is before i give it a ge, a scrunch, and i put some oil in it and then i'll show you in good lighting, because i know this lighting isn't the best. But i'm struggling to find places in my house that have good lighting. Oh maybe it's better. If i stand here right so the last thing that i do is i get some argan oil. So this is just argan oil. You can get it anywhere. I don't even know where i got this from. I do like one two, three four, maybe five little pipettes worth do this on my hands and then i just scrunch my hair and at the top. I do this. I go a little sort of twisty motion. You'Ll feel the gel in your hair, if you're using gel - and sometimes i find there's inconsistency with how scrunch how crunchy my hair is. When i first did this method, my hair would be quite crunchy um, but now it doesn't really do that. Could anyone tell me why any of you, um curly girl experts when i first used to use these products, because my hair is used to them now? Is it the method i'm doing i don't know, i'm not sure why, but my hair doesn't really get that crunch. That it did - which i think is actually for some people they quite like that, because it means it's really held the cast of your hair and then you scrunch it out. So when i've done the ends of my hair, i flip my hair over and i get in my scalp, i'm going to do a proper jouge for volume. Flip it back. I'M going to have a look in the mirror and then show you what it looks like. So here is the final look. There'S no frizz. It'S got lovely waves. I do prefer my hair on the second day because it's less pc at the ends like this, but i'm also wearing a white t-shirt. So it's like very obvious. Let me show you from behind and that's what it looks like. I'M just really happy that i have like defined waves now, as you can see, and it looks nice and shiny and just i really really like it. And yes, if you see gray hairs, i have gray hairs. I'M 28 years old gray. Hairs are normal, let's normalize gray hairs. I don't love them, but you know we all get them. I don't dye my hair. So before i end the video i thought i'd tell you how i refresh my hair. I tie my hair up in a high ponytail or a pineapple overnight with a bubble like this, but preferably a scrunchie, because it's easier to get out your hair like right. On top of my head loosely and then the next day, i'll use this little thing, which is basically my own little concoction of water and this moisture balance leave-in conditioner from bounce curl um. So i just squeeze a little bit of that in there or i will squeeze a little bit of conditioner in there just depends really um and i will spray my whole hair down. I don't always do this on the second day. This is more of a third fourth day kind of thing when my hair's, maybe not looking as nice and towards the end of the week. I will also start using this on my hair, which i don't know if that's the way you're supposed to use this, i found using this post shower to intense my hair. It made my hair look greasy, so i use this now like on the third fourth fifth day when my hair is lacking in moisture and starting to get dry and frizzy, and it really helps. I do like a chickpea amount on my fingers and then like using praying hands and it really calms the frizz down and gives like moisture to my hair again. So there's that and um yeah. I really do get my hair quite wet um on the days when i'm not washing my hair, so it gives it a nice refresh and you'll find that the gel activates itself again and it starts to crisp up. So you can scrunch it all out. But there's my wavy hair tutorial, i hope you enjoyed roxy is saying hello. Let me show you again from the back hope you enjoyed. I will do another one of these, maybe next year, when i've tried out some different products, because i'm trying all of this out. Let me know if you have any tips, because i'm open to trying new things out, i'm excited to try moose, because i did order some and yeah make sure. You'Re subscribed give this video a thumbs up, and i will see you in my next one goodbye

helena boateng: as an expert in waves/curls/coils (if i do say so myself ) this wavy hair routine from start to finish was so gooooood, even how you refresh and go to bed with them!! Your waves have gotten so defined and amazing! and for your point on not hearing the crunch in your hair no more, i believe it’s due to the fact that you’re now waiting till your hair is fully dry to put in the gel, i recommend applying it in when it’s about 80-90 max dry to apply it in, hope that helpssss!

Kez: I have wavy hair and just recently started trying the curly girl method too (not religiously, I do break some of the rules). For root volume when air drying try root clipping, it’s worked for me. If you google ‘root clipping for wavy/curly hair’ you’ll find lots of great articles about. I’ve not tried the Bounce Curl gel yet, at the moment I’m absolutely loving homemade flaxseed gel. It’s so easy to make, gives me a great cast and when scrunched out my hair is so soft and shiny. There are loads of tutorials on how to make your own if you ever fancy trying it yourself :)

martina: I feel like grey hair are one of those things that EVERYONE has but for some reason no one talks about and are perceived in a bad way so thank you for saying that! Your hair look absolutely amazing

Janina Fabia: About the hair being flat on the roots: I’ve had this „problem“ for a while. I then started using the denman brush (you say you don’t brush it because it doesn’t tangle, but neither does mine). I use it from the root and start brushing not from the top down. Instead, I put the brush under the hair at the root and brush upwards.. very hard to describe but there are also a lot of tutorials on it ;) it also has the nice side effect of forming „curl clumps“, which creates nice little ringlets that then „find“ each other. Also, the gel you massage into your scalp might do the opposite of what you’re intending to do and actually weight the hair down...okay, I’ll stop now ‍

J Marie: I think that everyone looks better with grey hair! My mom hasn't been dying her hair since the beginning of the lockdown and because of how the old colour faded and grew out, it looks like she's a natural platinum blonde and it looks amazing.

Charlotte1333: So I bought the bounce curl light creme gel after seeing your ig stories a couple of months ago, I have slightly wavy hair, it’s been working just ok for me but not great. After seeing this video I tried using it on dripping wet hair in the shower and then again on damp hair, and it made a huge difference. Thank you for the tip

SashaDeter: A few things that help me when I do this routine: if you put the cream in when your hair is soaking wet, I actually use a wet brush to brush in leave-in or cream, then scrunch it while it only has the cream in it. This should help it form larger clumps. Then you glaze the gel over top of the clumps that have already formed and scrunch again. Also, doing a quick micro plop with a t shirt and then “wet plopping” it in a shower cap afterwards seemed to help my hair spiral up more—I would get perfect ringlets in some areas. I’m not sure how available it is in the UK but Jessicurl’s spiralicious gel is a similar gel but is glycerin free so works well when it’s raining or really cold. For volume honestly the biggest difference would probably be more layers in your haircut and diffusing. But your hair looks beautiful! Over time as your hair clumps better it should look more voluminous.

Maddie Cassidy: been waiting for this video after following along on instagram! i started very roughly following the curly girl method in february, and i love watching how other people adapt it to work for themselves. so fun that we're on this journey together love you maddie!

Charlotte Graham: Not remembering when you last washed your hair is SO RELATABLE

QuickSilverHair: Once your hair is healthier and you have ample moisture and really hydrated, you may not get a crunch. I rarely EVER get a crunch.

Tatianna Lerario: This is hands down the best tutorial!!!! When I was young I had wavy hair, then I cut short and it stopped waving.....I followed this tutorial and my hair went from straight with very little wavy to CURLY

Angie Roberts: For lift at the roots you can add hair clips and take out carefully when dry. Another tip is the Denman brush which is designed for curly WET hair get a clump of hair and brush upwards and outwards. If you twist the brush it add waves too. There are tutorials on YouTube for this.

Kayla Janecek: This is so helpful!! My mom and I are trying to get our wavy hair back so your tips are perfectly timed!

Apryla: Just had the "big chop" and I'm hoping my hair ends up like yours. I *think* I'm 2b/2c, but gods it's so strange! I spent my whole life thinking I had straight hair and having to blow it straight and style it straight! Very lovely and great tips that I will definitely incorporate into my routine. :)

Hattie Atkinson: I recently went to a curly hair specialist and he recommended scrunching the ends once when completely wet and then scrunching the middle of my hair when damp to get volume. He also put layers in my hair so I had shorter strands at the front and progressively longer towards the back. I’m still learning about my hair though!

Ervin's Movie Corner: Great natural wavy hair routine, Madeleine!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Gemma Hayley: Thank you for this! I only realised I had wavy hair since lockdown so I've only been styling it for a few months and I'm always looking for tips. I use Noughty products and they work so well for me. For styling I use the leave in conditioner (my hair has been bleached previously so my ends are very dry), hello curls primer, wave hello curl cream and the hey curl scrunching jelly. My hair is very fine but I was surprised how these don't weight my hair down. For more volume in my roots I normally try and push my hair up at the roots while it drys so it doesn't go too flat (if that makes sense) or sometimes I will put my hairdryer on cold at low flow and just do my roots again pushing them up so they get volume.

Emily Wilson: Loved this - thank you!! I do almost the exact same thing except heavier on the conditioner and squish it while in the shower to condition it more because my hair is dried from the weather here. I will definitely try the tip about getting volume on the top. Mine dries quite flat too from being long and heavy when so wet.

Lucile Munster: This is super helpful! I always had my hair pretty short but after lockdown I decided to let it grow longer It has got some nice waves but I am SO CLUELESS about what to do with it. Obviously you use so many products but I decided to start with the clarifying shampoo and the cream and go from there (because... well it’s quite a budget to buy it all at once !) I’m quite excited to see how my hair will look with these products! Thanks

Bethany Vasquez: Hey Madeline! Thanks for sharing your haircare routine. I love your videos. They are so helpful. I noticed that when I would use gel for my curls it was crunchy because I would use too much gel. A tip I suggest is either using a little less gel, or add a few drops of water in your palm along with the gel just before applying it. Hope that helps

Ruth Neumann: Great video Madeleine! I've been using the CG method for about 2 years now, and I can highly recommend making you own flax seed hair gel. Natural, zero waste and cheap! I keep mine in an old liquid handsoap bottle with a pump. There are clips called 'root clips' that may help reduce the flatness on top of your head. xx

Sianna Tecco: Thank you for this!!! I've always admired your hair & have been self-conscience about my own frizzy waves. I need to embrace my natural locks more!

Claire Elliott: Gorgeous waves on you Madeleine, I have not come cross the products or methods you covered in this video but definitely going to try this out because I have waves but have never been able to define them, my hair just frizzes.

Gill Donne-Davis: Love this I’ve been following the curly girl method in lockdown and getting to grips with it all. I highly recommend @byselina products. They are all natural and as a curly girl and scientist herself she knows what she’s doing with her products. She is also based in the SW xx

Fluffinator: I tried for 2 whole years to draw out my washing the hair, but it doesn’t work whatsoever for me. Diligently... for TWO whole years :D some of us just have greasy hair no matter what we do haha :( I do avoid sulfate and silicones etc, so you could say in a sense I follow curly girl but no longer style my hair because it needs so much work for my hair to stay wavy but I might start styling it again, your hair is so beautiful :)

Christine Seguin: This was super helpful cause we have the exact same hair. Mine gets super piecy at the bottom too so sometimes I just comb the bottoms with a wide tooth comb. How did the mousse work out? I've been curious about using one.

Vin: The gel not giving you a cast anymore might be either over conditioning and therefore you need to balance with more protein, or buildup and you need to use a clarifying shampoo to get the buildup off :) at least in my experience. Your hair is lovely <3

Victoria Buksa: Your hair is beautiful!! Im new to the curly hair game (due to chemo)! thanks for the tips! Cant wait till my hair gets longer!

Sarah Bowes: I'm 28 and spotting my own gray hairs but honestly i love them. My mom has a bunch and they sort of give her this silvery sparkle through her hair!

Sarah Graham: My friend gave me your book for my birthday and I love it so far. Inspiring me to become more minimalist

Kelly Marth: Thanks for saying the bit about losing hair. I was starting to get worried with how much hair I’m finding comes out when I’m washing my hair now that I’m about 4 days between washes!

kerry lavelle: You are so naturally beautiful and your hair is to thank you for this download it's very informative x

nematoad: Your hair looks amazing. You should try out flaxseed gel next!

D Sz: It looks great :) my hair is similar to yours. Have you had a curly cut before? That would help with the volume on the top and it would get rid of the thin ends. I also prefer my hair on the 2nd day though. Love your videos and your book ❤

Kelly Lynn: Thank you so much for sharing ❤ I finally got my hair done right!! ❤❤✌

Rochelle noone: really love how you normalise grey hairs as you know, they are normal and such a taboo.would be great to see a video on it as there is not many on salt and pepper to show undyed dark hair as myself..for people who arnt fully grey if that makes sense :

Celia Sel: I tried the Bounce Curl line. The only one I ended up buying again was the Clarifying shampoo, which I love. I loved the Curl Cream but the smell was so strong I just sneezed and itched so I had to stop using it. The gel made my hair very dry, so I never bought it again. I was so hoping it would work since so many girls rave about it. I have long wavy hair and root clipping helps tremendously with volume (and cowlicks).

Call Me Swivel Hips: OMG I LOVE what you said about grey hair!! I have a good bit of grey hairs on the top of my head right in plain view. It can be difficult to resist the dye your hair trends. Currently, my hair is dyed with henna. From mehandi.com. And I do my research at hennaforhair, and have it applied by my stylist. So it's totally healthy for my hair. But I'm VERY excited to go back to my natural dark ash brown hair. Honestly, I think wearing your natural color is just...delightful. It's pretty rare these days too mind you. My sister bleaches her hair, and I rrreeeallllyyyy miss her natural hair. The damage from the bleach just really killed her hair, it makes me really sad.

Simini: Interesting video! I have curls too and I try to wash my hair as little as possible (maximum once a week) because I noticed this is really better for it. After the single wash (using Botanica shampoo by Kerastase without SLS etc) I do nothing but just add some Nature Box Avocado Repair Cream every now and then and that's it. I find all the routines fascinating but the more products I use my hair starts getting lessser quality

Angie Roberts: The main thing for me is that i avoid anything with glycerine in the summer as it sucks moisture out the air and that can make your hair frizzy\fluffy. I can use it first in a,cream etc but the final layer needs to be without!

TsunamiKitten: Thanks for the tips! Definitely trying something new tomorrow morning when I wash my hair.

Kendra Wilson: To help with volume at the back of my head I use a regular old croc clip and bunch up the hair until it dries! I have a tiny little channel that has some other curly/wavy inspired videos too!!

Michelle Christine: I always wash my hair right before I go to sleep and let it dry naturally . When your head is on the pillow, no matter which position you sleep in (curls out of the way flowing down the side of your pillow ) the top of your hair dries whilst it’s not laying flat on your head... it gives me volume while I’m sleeping... I never have a flat hair day.❤️

Lara: Really jealous watching this with my pin-straight hair that I braid after every shower for slight waves the next day

Anna: Hi Maddie, if you’re using four different products on your hair, how do you know which ones are working for you?

stephyclaws: You are right, cheaper gels work perfectly well... just make sure they don't contain silicone

Monisah Ali: I also have wavy/curly hair and Ive honestly struggled finding zero waste products for curly hair! Recently invested in a gel (and although it is in a plastic bottle) it has been a game changer for my curls!! You hair looks stunning and I loved this vid

Rowan Thomas: Try diffusing. You can hover diffuse untill you feel it's dry enough for you to get into your roots with the diffuser head and sjuz your roots. Just lightly shake them with the diffuser head. I feel that gives me volume all over. I'm a big fan of diffusing my hair for this very reason as opposed to air drying. Also I feel as a wavy myself, feel we have quite similar texture, we just tend to get less volume anyway. Try oway products though. I feel especially with their flux potion my hair gets so bouncy and fluffy and defined. I love it! Hope this helps. You have beautiful healthy hair though

Kate Blakeman: Thank you so much for this video! It has helped me so much!

Ashley Gallaher: You are just stunning! And absolutely love your hair!!!

Jackie Boo: I always recommend diy flaxseed gel, try the tutorial by Luisa louis, it leaves my hair soo moisturized and is better than store bought imo

P: Looks beautiful ❤️

Kelcy phillips: The reason your probably not getting the "crunch" is because your not putting in enough gel. Hold your hair in between your thumb and pointer finger and keep your fingers together and see how big of a circle your fingers made around your hair and thats how much gel you want to use, and after you put your gel in as the last step don't touch your hair until it's about 80 percent dry and then you should have a cast to scrunch out. If that dosent work you probably need a stronger holding gel some are stronger holds than others! Hope this helps! ☺

Nessa: Your pattern is similar to mine! I’m 29 and have been getting gray hairs too lol.

Lauren Vacula: i've been on a hair journey for like a year - trying to find a great nontox, clean shampoo & conditioner. it's def a journey

Shawna: I thought I was the only one who had to double waah/ cleanse... I've been doing that since middle school... And I also only wash my hair maybe every 5 - 10 days depending on the weather

Ellen Lima: A specific haircut for wavy/curly hair makes all the difference in the matter of volume.

Lizzy: Loved this video! Will definitely try your tips, could you do a video on your makeup look?

Hannah Fold: Highly recommended checking out the By Selina products. They are vegan, plastic free, curly girl friendly and such high quality

Elizabeth Kleinkramer: Try clipping your roots for volume! Some people like to flip their hair side ro side while it dries, but my part gets funky when I do that

nematoad: I want to buy this brand to try out but I also need to try out homemade flaxseed gel for curls for the sake of "zero waste" and see if thats better than the best vegan curl products. Making flax gel and trying it would be another good idea for content. I did enjoy this video though, I use store bought curl products. Anybody else like this brand she's using?

Aubrey Curtis: I love your hair so much! If you don’t mind sharing, what mousse did you purchase? I’ve had trouble finding a good one that’s vegan/cruelty free and more natural.

Anna: How long does it take to dry?

Tyde-Summer Turck: Imbue products are really good, may be worth a try at some point if you’re wanting a product change x

Eileen van der Steen: Finally somebody who has the same hairtype as me ❤

Sarah Windle: I get the exact same flat spot!! Just wandered how you manage with pineapple over night, it’s seems to pull tight on the front of my hair when I lay down no matter how loose I do it! Any suggestions?

Pam B: I love your hair!! Mine is a mix of less curly than you with straight ahah I never know what to do with them, so I let them do their thing :')

Laura C: Have you thought about making linseed/flaxseed gel? I swear by it!

Anne Smith: Very useful video thank you. And your hair is ace!

Aurélie Jenna: love your curly hair

Yoga with Maz: Wonderful! I teach hot yoga and do a sweaty workout each day, so find my hair gets very frizzy and loses its waves fast! I still try not to wash it more than twice a week, but it doesn't look so good! Any tips here? Also, how often do you get your hair cut? Thanks x

Zena Braithwaite: Your hair is stunning.

TheDeerfriend: Your hair is stunning! Very jealous. X

Shannon Devine: to help with root flatness diffuse! its actually healthier than air drying too

clara K.: Finally someone that has pretty much the exact same hair like me ; ) By the way, these are the products I use on my hair: - water - wind - sun -... yeah that`s it... Oh, also I don`t brush my hair. Like ever :) *I know it doesn`t work for everybody tho.

Myranda Means: I use flat clips to raise my roots from my scalp so it doesn't dry flat :) game changer

baybeegirlz007: You have beautiful hair thank you for sharing your tips and tricks!❤️

The Bookworms Nook: I literally just use an Alberto balsam gel that costs £1.50 at the local nisa, works just fine for me.

amanda: When my hair can't get a gel cast is a sign that it needs a protein treatment, because too much moisture is not a good thing.

Sue Gale: Beautiful hair maddie,

Cathy Lynn Pietranton: Maddie you have beautiful hair❤

Simona Stefanescu: My hair is also wavy/ curls and I am using cocounat products (3 products for styling after shampoo). Maybe you want to try them :-)

MyHonest123: I’m a type 4 girlie so idk what I’m doing here haha but your hair is beautiful

eilish calnan: wondering if anyone in these comments can help me: I really want to try the curly girl method but can't afford to buy 3 products if I might not like them/they don't work. I'm also v committed to plastic free and so even if I could afford the products, I'd feel conflicted. Out of shampoo, conditioner, gel or mousse, what is the one thing I should definitely get?

Jana Mahlich: What do you do when your hair is always super tangled? help pls lol (I do brush it when it's wet but it gets tangled after a couple of hours....) Also My curls/waves look okay after washing but as 4-5 hours pass my curls already start looking sad and not really curly. I do put gel but I find my hair feels really stiff if I don't scrunch it... maybe I scrunch too much? But I barely do tho... So many things wrong for my hair lol

Mon Platin UK: Heyy Madeleine, your hair is so gorgeous, we would love for you to collaborate with us as I know you will love our hair care products. give us a dm back for a collab x

Ma ru: I have same hair type but i don't do all this and i get same result. I just wash my hair and let it air dry without scrunching it, after , i use coconut or olive oil when my hair is dry to make it look shiny. And if you want to use gel, there is pure aloe verra gel with no chemical product ^^ . I never use too much product, because 2b and 2c hair are very fragile . you must be careful

Nina H: Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous hair :)

Swavy Blonde: I just found you and I fell in love with your accent and personality

Amanda Dawn: How often do you have your hair cut? im trying to grow mine :) your hair is beaut and similar texture to mine :)

She doesn’t even Go here: My hair could never get some curls in the roots. Do you have any tips for that?

Amanda Dawn: How often do you get your hair cut? your hair is just like mine and I am trying to grow it :)

mandfr: Have you tried getting a curly/wave-specific hair cut? It got rid of that piecey look for me.

Jen Whyte: So beautiful

Charlene LaVigne: You're so gorgeous. Like I'm in awe

Nutree Cosmetics: You're stunning A lot of videos about keratin for hair on my channel

Sara Rhys: gah, my hair is really similar to yours, and I'm trying to get the hang of how to treat it now it's long for first time in many many years, but blimey, I can't afford all those different products! I make do with bar shampoo, vegan conditioner, and a curl gel from Boucleme (my one luxury). Do you know of any more budget-friendly products than Bounce Curl?

Hannah D: I've found Boucleme products good. Black woman owned business, UK based, biopolymer etc
