Drugstore Haircare Favorites #3! 10 Affordable Haircare Products I Love

Hey guys welcome back to my channel or welcome if you're new here we are back to talk through some more drugstore hair care favorites today, if you have not yet seen parts one and two of this series, then i will list those videos below so that you Can get caught up, but this is officially part three. I know that you guys do really enjoy when i give you affordable recommendations for hair care products, so i thought that we would just move right along with this series and yeah now we're on part three. I made sure to pick out a variety of products to talk through today, so i have a little bit of everything here: shampoo conditioner, leave-in, conditioner oils, a scalp treatment, some styling products. So if you are interested in picking up some affordable, hair care products, you're looking to refresh your routine and you don't feel like spending an arm and a leg that i've got you and we're going to jump into that in a second before we do that. Please don't forget to give this video a thumbs up subscribe to my channel if you haven't already click on that notification, bell and drop a comment below letting me know a drugstore haircare product that you have been enjoying recently. Thank you. So much for doing all those things it really helps to support me with youtube algorithm. So i appreciate you so much for doing that and if you need anything for me at all check out my description box below, i have lightroom preset filters for editing your instagram photos. My spf merch timestamps discount codes links to all the products that i'll be talking through today and links to my favorite beauty products of all time. All right. Let'S talk, drugstore hair care, all right. Let'S talk about these products in order of application like we're kind of doing a drugstore haircare routine together. So this is the scalp serum that i have it's from the inky list and you can now pick up the inkulas hair care products on sephora's website. I don't know if they carry any of their products in stores, but previously you could not get the inkulas hair care products in the us, so that is exciting that we have these available now. So this is the salicylic acid exfoliating scalp treatment. This says that it's intended to exfoliate the scalp to minimize itchiness minimize excess oil, remove flakes and improve irritation. It does so by using a couple standout ingredients. The first is two percent salicylic acid, which is a really great ingredient to be on the lookout for, if you deal with any of those concerns both in scalp serums like this and in shampoos, i always love to see that, in shampoos the other ingredient is called Fluidy pure definitely not, it's proven an ingredient to salicylic acid. It'S a trademarked ingredient that was created to improve scalp, irritation, dandruff and oiliness, so those are really the two ingredients in this that are supposed to improve those scalp issues. This also does have panthenol, which is a nice ingredient for scalp health overall, it calms its soothes and it hydrates. So nice addition to this. So this is something that's intended to be applied before shampoo and they recommend leaving it on for at least 10 minutes. But how i have actually been using this is overnight, so i will apply this all over my scalp. I will go ahead and sleep in it then, the next day i will shampoo that out. I'Ve had no issues with irritation or anything like that. As a result, if this had a really high amount of exfoliating acids, then i may be more wary of that, but since it's just two percent salicylic acid, i thought that i would try that out and i've been loving using it in that way. It'S a very watery serum, so it's something that i don't know is easy to just throw on before bed. It'S not like a really thick oil that you have to worry about getting all over your pillow, even though i do that too. I go in with thick oils, so i have been loving this because it's really been helping to relieve itchiness on my scalp. I'Ve told you guys this in several videos before that. I kind of just have one problem area at the back of my head kind of like at the top of my neck, very prone to itchiness there flakiness it can be really uncomfortable and it kind of abs and flows, and i feel like it's really been flaring Up a lot lately, so i have been applying this the night before i shampoo every single week for the past several weeks. I will apply it all over my scalp, but i'm focusing it more on that area. That'S a concern for me and it really really does help to relieve itch, which is amazing, because there's nothing more annoying than feeling like you have to constantly scratch your scalp. So whether you deal with something similar to me, make sure to confirm with your dermatologist. Of course, that you don't need like medication or anything, but if not, you have a similar concern to me. This is great or if you do just have all over kind of a tight, itchy scalp. I think that you will really enjoy this. The only problem that i've had with this is the packaging, because it's a really watery serum. This has just been super difficult to use and spread evenly on my scalp, but i saw that they have actually repackaged this. They also have this available and a larger size. Now, which was necessary too, like this, is so tiny. You would go through this so quickly, so now on sephora's website. You can pick this up for 14.99 in a five ounce bottle, whereas this one is 1.7 ounces, like so tiny, and that has a nozzle on it, so you can easily apply that to the scalp. So when i get through this, i will definitely be picking that up, because this is just enough. Next is another pre shampoo treatment and it is an oil. So you guys ask me all the time what i recommend for pre shampoo oil treatments, because, as you guys know, i also do that. Every single week, the night before i wash my hair - and i will sleep in that as well as a way to protect my ends before i shampoo and i've always said. I don't think you need to break the bank in this category because it's something that you're going to be shampooing out the next day. So i am all for an affordable oil when it comes to a pre, shampoo treatment oil. But my top recommendation is to look for an oil that has coconut oil in it. That ingredient is amazing when you use it as a pre shampoo treatment, there's tons of benefits to using coconut oil, one of which is that it helps to prevent protein loss, which is one of the things that contributes to damaged hair that ends up breaking off. Unfortunately, so if you want to know more about all the benefits that coconut oil has the pros and the cons, i will list a deep dive, video that i have on that ingredient below for you. But let's get to the product recommendation. This is from ogx and this is their damage, remedy, plus coconut miracle oil, where they're penetrating oil. It says extra strength on the top. So this is a very basic oil there's not much going on here, but it has coconut oil, which is why i love it. So it has a couple ingredients that are really really soft and silky and slippery, which i think is great for a pre-shampoo oil, because by that time i hit day six. My hair is pretty tangly. It really needs some extra love to make sure that it's not getting so snarled that it breaks. So i like that it has ingredients like psychopathic hello, cyclopentasiloxane, okay, cyclotractor, siloxane and dimethoconal, which is a type of the silicone, so those ingredients plus the addition of coconut oil, make this an awesome, pre-shampoo oil treatment. I would definitely recommend checking it out all right. Let'S move on to shampoo: this is the nature lab tokyo, perfect, repair, shampoo and it's not technically a drugstore brand, but you can pick up nature lab tokyo in stores at ulta and the brand is very affordable. So this shampoo is 15, which is great nature. Lab tokyo highlights a lot of really interesting ingredients in their products. I do actually have an entire review on the nature, lab tokyo, perfect repair line and a couple extra products from them. I will list that below. If you haven't seen that yet - and you want to hear my thoughts on all those ingredients in depth - i won't dive into that here, but they really do focus on the use of plant stem cells. So this has bamboo stem cells in it. Keratin argan oil and a lot of other plant oils that are going to be really nice and nourishing for the hair like mango oil, marula oil, prickly, pear oil, a dance needed digital oil and a lot more that i cannot really pronounce. And even though this is a sulfate free shampoo, i wouldn't say it's free of deep cleaning ingredients, because the primary cleansing agent is an anionic surfactant called sodium c1416 olefin sulfonate, and that is an ingredient that is known to provide a deeper cleanse than some other cleansing Agents, but i love that because then we know that this is going to clean our hair. That'S the point of shampoo. I really like this as an option for a shampoo, because, while it does have those nice nourishing oils to help to offset any potential stripping effects of the cleansing ingredients, it still is a very lightweight kind of gel. Like formula it's not creamy, it's not dense. It doesn't feel oily and while those formulas can be great for dry scalps, they're not ideal for oily scalps or for anyone that is an infrequent washer that really does just need buildup removed. So this does a great job at removing build up removing oils, but not for me, leaving my hair feeling really dry or stripped, or anything like that. So i think that that's great and the other thing that i've really enjoyed about using this is that it does help to preserve how clean my scalp looks as the week goes on. So i don't have to worry about my roots. Looking super greasy only a couple days after washing when i use this, my hair does last several days before i need dry shampoo, so awesome option for infrequent washers for oily scalps. I don't think this would be stripping if you have a dry scalp, but you may just prefer something that is a little bit creamier or you could apply an oil before you use this to make sure that you're nourishing that scalp okay, wait. I think i said in the intro of this video that i have a conditioner and i do not. I don't have a conditioner or a hair mask because i've, given you guys tons of recommendations for affordable conditioners and hair masks in previous videos. So i'll list. Some of my favorites from the drugstore below that i have talked about before, and i will include the videos that i talked about those products in in the description box below as well, because i have some other awesome products here that fall into different categories. That i really wanted to highlight so normally we would condition and do a hair mask in the shower and then jump out pretend that we did that now. Let'S move on to leave-in conditioner first is a leave-in conditioning spray. This is the l'oreal ever pure sulfate-free 21. In one color caring spray, it says it's a multi-benefit perfecting leave-in and i'm super excited about this, because i was telling you guys in a video where i talked about things that i'm dying to see in 2022 and dying to see stop in 2022 that i feel Like we really need more leave-in conditioners at the drugstore, especially leave-in conditioning sprays, feels like we are neglected in those categories when it comes to affordable products, so i was really excited to see this launch from l'oreal. This has some really awesome ingredients in it like coconut oil and almond dimethicone. Ammo dimethicone is amazing for damaged hair and also has other conditioning ingredients like quaats and silicones. So this is not only great for conditioning the hair after you wash it, but it will really help to detangle. It definitely does have a little bit of an oily slip that i think makes it awesome for detangling with. That said, though, just be careful not to overdo it with this product, i think yeah, coconut oil is the second ingredient, so you just don't want to go in with too much. Otherwise, it will start to look like you have some build up on the hair. It'S looking a little greasy, so a little goes a long way here. This also does provide 450 degree heat protection, but knowing that it has that kind of oily feel, i would not recommend applying this towards the top of your head. So you may want to use a lighter weight spray for that, but this is awesome for the lengths and ends of the hair, so really nice leave in conditioner, i'm hoping that we see more from the drugstore this year, because i haven't really seen much else. Next is another leave-in conditioner, but this one is a cream. I personally always like to use some sort of spray first and then either a cream or an oil, to make sure that i'm deeply conditioning my hair and that i'm really taming flyaways any split ends that i have towards the end of my hair. That is something that i always do on wash day. Have i done a post wash day like blow dry, leave-in routine? I don't know if i have if you're interested in that. Let me know in the comments below. I could definitely do that, but this is the eva nyc satin dream, smoothing leave-in cream. I was like what does this even say it? Does it says it smooths fights, frizz and hydrates? This has some amazing ingredients in there that are really going to condition and nourish the hair. Add nice softness and shine. Not that i'm surprised i feel like eva nyc is such an underrated brand. They have some amazing products. Some of the standout ingredients in this include shea butter, castor oil poppy seed, oil, flax seed, oil, grape seed oil, cram oil, squalling and amino acids incredible. I love that this has a really nice soft silky feel, and i think it does a great job at just kind of smoothing the ends of my hair and making them look really really nice and soft and healthy and conditioned same kind of thing for me here. As this spray, i don't want to use too much product, or it can just look too heavy in my hair. So a little bit goes a long way here, even though it's not a really thick buttery cream. It'S still something where i feel like you don't need much to see nice benefit and i think that's everything i have to say here great little leave-in conditioner. The only thing i almost forgot that i'm not obsessed with is the smell of this. I can't figure out what this reminds me of. Is it hemp oil? Maybe that's it. I don't know for sure. It'S not terrible. It just doesn't smell amazing, which is a bummer, because some eva nyc products smell really nice, and this is just not my personal favorite, but that's okay. I can look past it because it's really nice, aside from that next up, is the nature. Lab tokyo, perfect, shine. Oil mist, so this is another product that i did include in that nature lab tokyo review, and i am obsessed with this. You guys know. I love a good oil mist. I feel like it's such an amazing way to incorporate oils into your hair care routine without having to worry about them really building up on the hair, weighing the hair down and or making your hair look really greasy and streamy, because you can do that easily with An oil that you like pump out of a tube - or i don't know, pour out of a jar, even things like that, you can often go overboard easily and then you're like well, i'm screwed. Now until i wash my hair again you're so much less likely to have that issue with a mist because of the way it comes out of that mister. So some of the nice ingredients in this include hydrolyzed collagen and keratin argan oil mango oil and again, like the shampoo tons of other plant-based oils and ingredients that i can't pronounce for the life of me. So lots of good stuff in here too. And this is something that i like to use in a couple different ways. One of the ways is like i was saying in combination with some sort of leave-in spray on wash day, or my personal favorite way is to use this midweek to recondition. Before i do my overnight heatless waves, i think that this just adds such pretty softness and shine again without it. Looking like, i have too much product on my hair, because at that point i already do have too much product on my hair. That'S built up throughout the week. I don't want a really heavy oil sitting on my ends, so this is perfect. Just do a little bit and it really brings my hair back to life. Next, i have a couple sticks. This is so random for me that i have two in this video, but these are both great and they serve different purposes. So the first is something that i saw on tick tock. Of course it is the is this brand t-i-g-i or tg? I don't know t-i-g-i-t-g bed head hair stick for cool people is literally what it says on the front of this, so this says that it is for soft pliable hold that creates texture and they recommend applying this from roots through your ends, that's not how i use It how i like to use this is for taming flyaways. I was just trying to twist this and that's not how it works. It just pushes up like that. Okay now, so we kind of have a theme going here. You don't want to overuse this product either, or this will look really just greasy and dirty on the scalp area. But if you just do a tiny bit at the roots like this, where you have baby hairs flyaways, this really helps to tame them down and hold them in place, which i love so a higher end product that i really love for that purpose that you guys Have heard me talk about before is the way matte pomade. So if that sounded interesting to you, but you didn't want to spend that much money on a styling product like that, then this is a more affordable option that i think, does the job really well too and the other stick. Why do i call it a stick? They'Re, like balm sticks, i guess the other balm i have is the kristen s anytime anywhere recovery balm. So, on the back of this, she talks about a few different ways that she recommends using it one being to apply to dry or damaged hair. That needs kind of some restoration and she talked about. It was like on the box - it's not on here, but how she likes to apply that on her ends and then sleep in it overnight. I don't really use it in that way, because i'll just do my overnight oils, but the other way she talks about using this is to just make the hair look sleeker to tame flyaways in styled white. I was going to say in style, hairstyles good, one abby in hairstyles, like braids and buns and ponytails, where you may have some hair kind of sticking out that you want to smooth down, or you could use this just to add some nice shine to hairstyles, like That you could even use it like this, like, if you have some breakage up here, that you're trying to mask something like this. Does a really nice job at masking that and last we have a dry shampoo. I know that i recommended so many dry shampoos before, but the reason why i wanted to include this is because it's a little bit different. It'S actually a tinted dry shampoo, so it's the l'oreal ever pure sulfate free. Why does this look so dusty, like it's just been sitting here, collecting dust this has been under my sink and i've been using it often what so. This is available in at least two different shades. This one is the light toned option and they do have a darker one. I don't know if they have like. Should i just look okay, so this light toned one is supposed to be for blonde hair and red hair, and then they have a dark tone. One for brown and black hair - i was really skeptical about this, but excited because i'd never tried a tinted dry shampoo. Before and in theory, it sounds amazing, but i was like this could end up going really poorly, because obviously there's a lot of dry shampoos that have very intense white casts sure that lightens your roots. But it doesn't look natural or good, and i was also worried that this might end up making my roots look a little bit ashy or gray, but it actually has a warmth to it to prevent that from happening, and i think this looks pretty natural. Actually, i was very impressed by it. It really does do a good job at lightening up the root area and the reason why i really enjoy that is because i feel, like my hair, looks so much darker when it is really dirty, like i feel like the times. I'Ve had people comment on the difference in like my roots and ends is only when my hair is dirty. There'S something about that grease that just i don't know, for me at least makes my roots appear darker, so i enjoy that this is absorbing oils. It does a good job at doing that plus lightening my roots, even though i don't even really have roots anymore. It'S so grown out. I'M really trying to grow these out as long as possible so that i can have a lot more depth in here. I'M still gon na keep like blonde, but i am done with the all over bright bleach blonde. I feel like it just number one destroys my hair and number two does not look right on me anymore. You know we need just a little more depth, but i'm not going brunette, don't go crazy. So if you are in between styling appointments, you're trying to get away with that extended root, look for a little bit longer. I think that a tinted dry shampoo is an awesome way to do that. What the heck i just finished, filming that entire video and then realized i forgot um the 10th thing i was going to share uh. Okay, not that you guys would have noticed, because i can just edit it in, but i think i said that this was the last product uh. Okay, the actual final product is technically four different products, because i really wanted to share some affordable, styling tools with you guys. There are so many insanely expensive, styling tools out there and i feel like everything these days is like 250 350 and it's like what, when did styling tools become so so crazy, expensive or maybe they always have been? I don't know either way. I totally understand that for some people, that is just like an insane amount of money to spend on something like that. We obviously all have different price points that we're willing to spend on different kinds of products, but i feel, like i've seen so many comments asking for affordable racks for hairstyling tools, so the brand i want to recommend is heritage by mindy. I have talked about all these products before in a previous video. I can't remember what video that was, though it was this winter. Maybe it was my like holiday gift shopping video. I think that was it. I just think these are such great products and they're all like under forty dollars, so they have an awesome blow dryer they have a straightener. If that's something you use, i don't often use straighteners, but sometimes because my hair blow dries pretty straight. So if i have like a couple pieces that are out of line i'll just touch those up with a straightener, but i don't often do like an all-over straightener situation, but if you do that's a really good straightener. This is a really great curling iron. It is a one and one-fourths inch barrel and they also have a crimper or waiver, which i know is super trendy right now. I love the look of wavy cramped hair, so this one is awesome for that. So i don't think you can go wrong with heritage by mindy, whichever styling tool you choose, but awesome price point for really great products. So i wanted to make sure that i was including these in this video and i'm glad i remembered and did not just take off all my makeup. I was this close because i need to go work out. Okay back to the outro that i already filmed all right, you guys that is it for today's video. Those are all the drugstore hair care products that i wanted to talk through with you. Let me know in the comments below. Are you gon na pick anything up after watching this video? If so, as always, everything will be listed and linked in my description box in order of mention, so it's really easy for you to find. If you would like to see a drugstore favorites part four, you know i'm down. Let me know we can definitely just make this an ongoing series, as i test out more product and as we have new drugstore launches. So let me know if there's anything else, you would like to see next. Aside from that, let me know that as well, but thank you so much for watching. I love you guys so dang much. If you did enjoy this video, please don't forget to give it a thumbs up subscribe if you haven't already click on that notification bell and send my channel to a friend. Thank you so much for your support in doing all those things it means the world. I appreciate you so much stay tuned for my next video, because that will be up in a few days, but until then i hope you have a great few days. You

MECFSWarrior: I’d love to see a post-wash blown dry routine. I’d also love to see a “Best of Drugstore Hair Care” video that’s a combination of your three drugstore hair care videos featuring the best product from each category.

Esperanza Martinez: I appreciate the time it takes for you to research these products, test them out, and of course to film and edit. I also appreciate your style of delivery. I am 33, and it is refreshing to see a peer whom seeks and understands science/chemistry, is not overly dramatic in delivery, and seems to be a genuine, grounded individual.

D-nise: I love the way you articulate and explain things in your channel. It’s very concise and helps others to understand. You would be an awesome teacher ‍

ceylonspritz: You should definitely do a part 4! I love this series ❤️❤️

The Beauty Minimalist: Your hair style and hair colour look amazing, loving the new depth! Thanks for all of the affordable recommendations

Alexandra Law: You’re the best!! Thanks for making videos like these during these trying times of crazy high inflation. I appreciate your thorough explanations of each product because you typically answer all of my questions.

Jennifer Bond: I absolutely love your channel, Abby! I stumbled upon it a few months ago and have been completely obsessed with all of your videos ever since. Your content is absolutely top notch. You have completely transformed my hair (I now wash my hair once a week and follow your complete routine). I can’t thank you enough for all the wonderful knowledge and advice. As for this video, I was excited to watch it because I did buy the Tan Luxe drops and found myself extremely orange. I’m so glad you agree because I thought it was something I was doing wrong. I’m excited to buy Tanologist and give those a try. Thank you ❤️

Randi Huckabee: Abby i love this! Awesome suggestions and i love the idea of adding more coconut oil to my routine. Also love the idea of a post wash routine! I was wondering if you’ve ever tried or thought of trying the drunk elephant hair care? They lost their pH and it looks great! Wondering your thoughts❤

pale star 8: You are sooooooooooo pretty and I love your hair! If I could get hair tips from you, I'm definitely listening! And the fact that you include AFFORDABLE products in this video is honestly so amazing because I struggle financially and I'm always looking for products that don't cost an arm and a leg. I'm worried about Silicones and Sulphates though because I live in a household with hard water. I have low porosity hair that is probably 1c-2a type hair so I'm not really sure if using products without silicones and Sulphates is what I'm "supposed to do." Honestly I'm 35 years old and finally just learning about proper hair care, but it's been a confusing journey. Do you use Sulphates and Silicones and do you have hard water? Do you think we shouldn't use them if we do have hard water? I know that Silicones can cause some build up and I know that hard water causes my hair a ton of buildup. And sulfates dry my hair out along with the hard water. I do use a chelating shampoo once a month though. So what are your thoughts on this? Thank you for including affordable products in this video even though I'm still confused on Silicones and Sulphates. I'm sure these products have those...I don't know what to use on my hair lately. It's been a struggle to figure that out. All I know is that you have beautiful hair. Wish I had your length!

Aaron Rose: Hi Abbey, thanks for doing more drugstore haircare videos! I feel like I finally grasp skincare but haircare is still hard for me to wrap my head around with all the marketing and so many products so I appreciate that you share content on haircare as well. I'm wondering if you have tried or have any thoughts on 1) 2-in-1 shampoo conditioners (aside from Hairstory New Wash which is sort of that) are there any that are decent to use, if not, why? 2) if you don't color your hair or use blow dryers or styling tools, are bond repair products still relevant? 3) would caring for short hair be different than long hair? 4) have you tried or do you have thoughts on any Garnier hair products? Thanks!

Maggie Ntonados: Love your videos. They have really been instrumental in improving my hair care routine. Thank you for all your hard work!

eobrien1: I’m excited to try that coconut oil from OGX. I actually accidentally bought it the other day, meaning to get that other OGX coconut oil you recommended in a previous video. Glad to know this one is good too! Thanks for your hair videos. Been on a journey to heal my hair after general pandemic “not having an mental effort left to focus on it” & neglecting getting regular trims for almost 2 years. Your videos have helped me navigate a product-filled space that can be overwhelming, since I don’t know hair stuff the way I do skincare. After two regular trims, an in-salon Olaplex treatment, getting back to silicones, and testing minis to find a sulfate-free shampoo that works for me, I’m getting there.

ADRI CORONADO: Thank you so much!!! Affordable drugstore haircare is the whole reason I watch your channel! I love you!!!

purnima mahesh: Always helpful, thanks, Abbey! I wonder if you'd consider making videos on shampoos, conditioners and masks available on stylevana? A lot of them have their pH value mentioned and super easily accessible, which feels like a good omen :)

Talita Te Flan: Abby, thanks for giving us some affordable options, but I’d love to see your review on the crown affair sold at Sephora (very pricey but the reviews are some of the most outstanding I’ve ever read!)

Fancyfancy AN: I’m so happy you did this video. I was going to asked for your reco on styling tools. Love to see some other affordable and high end options.

Pepper the mini🦋: I ordered the Inkey List salicylic acid treatment. I have oily scalp around my forehead and this sounds like an option for that. I used my points and got a sample for the k18 treatment I have the straightener/'curler' from Mindy, it's affordable and easy to use. I have my eyes in the waver.

caitlin: Hi Abbey!! I'd love to see some of your favorite cruelty free drugstore hair care!! Im having a hard time finding a good hair oil that fits that category!!

JULIE MARESKI: Abbey-Thank you for all of your hard work. I have learned so much from you. Your hair is so beautiful and so are you!!!

Alexis Collins: A week of hair care vlog of what you do everyday and what products until your wash day would be cool to see!

Carolyn Lindstrom: Since I started listening to you, I’ve taken a lot of your advice. My hair has improved so much! I bought most of the Olaplex products. They are on the pricey side, but I realized you really don’t need that much at all. It has made a huge difference

Kat: I love these videos! Love the affordable skin/ hair care.

KKO: I love the Bed Head balm and usually rub some on an unused toothbrush to smooth over flyaways. I think the brand is pronounced "TG" because it used to be called Toni & Guy back in the day. Thanks for all you do Abbey!

Caitling123: I totally feel you, when my hair is greasy it makes my roots look so much darker especially when the rest of my hair is super blonde from highlights. I loveeeeee dry shampoo for this… to give me a few more weeks between my hair appt I’m curious to try the L’Oréal dry shampoo…your before and after was wowww (in a good way it looks promising lol) love your videos ❤️

Jessica Anguiano: I love what you’ve been doing with your hair color!! So beautiful!

Nicole Polachak: Hi Abbey! I need day 2, day 3, day4 day 5 pleaseeeee Especially since you don't use heat I'm curious what you do Edit: Abbey I'm so interested in seeing your natural color! I do love the old days bright blonde. But I love the natural here And Mindy needs to come out with a diffuser for us curly wavy ladies OR do you have a diffuser attachment you recommend to attach to it?

Kazimira Krause: The new packaging on the inkey list scap treatment is great, super easy to use

Emmers1983: I'm gonna have to try the Ever Pure 21-in-1 spray. It sounds really similar to the Redken One United All-in-One spray, which I use to thin out my Olaplex No.6 before putting it on.

Christie Lawrence: The L’Oreal Conditioning Spray is amazing It’s perfect for my thick, easily tangled, bleached hair.

axreason: i have the SA scalp exfoliator from The Inkey List in the 5oz bottle, and it's super easy to apply to your scalp. loving it!

Simone Clarke: I will see if I can find the OGX oil! I love the the Ever Pure line so I will pick up the leave in conditioner as well. Thank you so much for this video

What Cass Read: Perfect timing!! I was already going to buy some more haircare, and I just watched your first two videos on this!

HonesTea BeauTea: Love this. I'd love for you to do a video of products specifically from Sally Beauty because they have great deals. 4 for 20. I just did that deal ♡

Allison Poore: I love the Eva nyc 10 in 1 primer!!!

Becks: I bought EVA NYC after watching your video, I put it on my ends and I love how the ends look.. Also, I love the smell

Carrie Jussely: FTR: we REAL ready for the post wash day routine. Also….yes. evaNYC is ok. But….why does their miracle serum (and a mask I was gifted recently) so strongly of cinnamon bun??? Can’t even.

Nichole Northrop: Your hair and makeup look flawless, per usual. Tutorial on this look?!

Bailey Allison Dubbbbbs: As a brunette, I find the tinted dry shampoos work well on my hair, but make my hands and nails look dirty if I touch or run my fingers through my hair….which is not great

Ellamier Rose: I love the recommendations! And I really want to try the tinted dry shampoo, that one interested me most. My hair always looks darker when it gets more oily too. It's actually crazy the difference between how it looks freshly washed and later in the week. Has anyone tried Carol's Daughter? I love how their products smell and recently picked up the Goddess Strength 7 oil blend scalp and hair oil. So good! ❤

Ervin's Movie Corner: Great job, Abbey!❤️❤️

Desi Nicole: I’m obsessed with the Pantene rose shampoo and conditioner. I swear it leaves my hair feeling healthier than even high end

PronouncedBeauty: Ooo I'm interested in that OGX oil. I've tried a different once from that brand but I'll have to try that one when I'm done with my current one.

Αλκμήνη Πι.: I recently found an 1+1 deal for Aveda's smooth infusion naturally straight leave in cream. I tried it, and got so impressed! I immediately ordered two more tubes. I think it is discontinued :( It really straightens the hair without any heat.

Nancy: Love your practical reviews of products in all price ranges. With the oil you use as a pre poo, how long do you leave it in your hair? Thanks

River otter is my fav: Yesss I’d love to see your post shower routine!! Also could you do a video on fine hair but what you would recommend for fine hair from Eva nyc?

plamicak87: TIGI Bed Head is a famous British hair care brand. Their products smell amazing, too. I am surprised that you never heard about them before...

Steph: Just me over here still loving your color! I know it’s been like two months or something since you added a few lowlights but it looks great!

Catherine Van Duyn: Love this video! Random question, what product(s) are you wearing on your lips? It's such a beautiful colour and so juicy!

Bailey Allison Dubbbbbs: I have that IL salicylic acid with the nozzle and it’s soooo easy to get all over your scalp!

Yanet Ybanez: I would love to see a video of reviews of the Eva NYC brand! I saw the brand at Sally’s and would love to know your thoughts.

Allison Ranae: Love these recs!!! Always obsessed with eveurhint you recommend! I was wondering if you would ever review the l’ange hair care brand? I loveee their purple deep conditioner but nobody ever seems to talk about them or review them! Thank you so much!

Allison Poore: I just tried the rice rinse from hairitage by Mindy- VERY impressed with that product. And I can’t believe the affordable price point.

LauraLVT GW1020: Love drug store prices & if you're recommending the product, it's a good one!! I have fine hair and not a lot of hair, I would love some recommendations on products that gives volume, but doesn't weigh down hair. My hair is healthy, gray with color highlights of blue. I tend to use a lot of hair spray and wash twice weekly.

GirlCami: Thanks for the recommendations. Yes to Drugstore Part 4! Can you just swipe your finger across the top of the BedHead stick and tame down your flyaways with an even lighter application for those of us who have more concern about scalp grease/oil? Also totally off topic but I need someone to do a deep dive on how to read/trust reviews….specifically Sephora, Ulta & Target. I think there are so many fakes (good & bad) but it seriously causes me hesitation and stops me from trying let’s say a shampoo when you click on the link and then go to Ulta and read first 10 reviews and see several saying “don’t buy! made my hair fall out”. It gives me so much anxiety. Like shouldn’t all reviews be from verified purchases?! Also I wish beauty reviewers were categorized by skin type and hair type. I appreciate you discussing dry vs oily needs, but it would be nice to find specific recommendations for skin care and hair care from someone who is actually like me. Like to help find them easily. I do appreciate your research and knowledge and informative reviews. Some of us have tried and tried (training and specific products) and even with age (I’m now entering 40s) still require at least every other day washing for scalp health, and our hair only looks its best the day it is washed (sensitive oil-producing scalp / dark brown thin and fine / air drying naturally mostly-straight hair).

Lori Is Awesome: My favorite new go to serum is Pacifica’s scalp love rosemary and mint. It’s amazing and I truly believe it has improved my hair loss.

Cassidy Petersen: A video showing how you style your hair in this video would be great!

Ingrid Lewis: Thank you for these amazing products/tips, do you use a specific shampoo when you used the oil overnight?

doe eyes: My fave is the Loreal "8 Second Wonder Water" (Lemellar water). Its the only product that has ever knocked my socks off. I cant believe I lived without it. If you have very dry, over processed, frizzy hair... this stuff is a dream! It has made my hair so soft and manageable. I dont know how I lived without it.

AD: The best drug store dry shampoo I have ever used is the Aussie Bounce Back dry shampoo spray. Its amazing and it smells so good too. Although sometimes its hard to find. I like it more than batiste.

Shandel Stovell: Biosilk Cure has been my moms favorite for my entire life and now mine, I am 34. The regular price is $$$ but if you can snag it at Winners etc, it is a deal. It is the clear hourglass bottle NOT the white bottle leave in conditioner. I have fine limp hair and this product doesnt make it look gross, unless I use too much but that's me not the product. I have the the coconut OGX aswell; nice line, can weigh the hair down though.

Bailey Allison Dubbbbbs: Thank God for this, I can’t afford all expensive haircare

r ree: I use straight coconut oil on my hair before I go to the pool and it is GREAT

susan plaster: Part 4 please!!! Could you review the ION products? Shampoos for hard water, leave ins, etc. Thanks for your hard work and great vids!!!

Halfofmyheart: I would love to hear about any new (by new, I mean new to you) high end/luxury hair products that you have either tried recently or just never mentioned in a video. I’m a hair care freak and have spent more money on hair hair then I would like to admit lol. I have a ridiculous amounts and recently tried a good amount of new brands. I’m always interested in hearing your opinion, as we agree on a fair amount of things.

Kathleen •: Your channel is a need thank you!!

citizenslaps: Friends .. The GSQ Moroccan Oil and Heat Protectant combo at CVS is my true hearts wish. The smell is the best. I mean isn’t 90% of all this crap just scent? It is. I bought it on a lark and I’m never going back. The smell is from heaven and my hair looks amazing. I use just the oil if I just want to oil. I wish I had bothered to create a platform so I could do recommendations.

StoryOfThisGirlxx: Please do the post wash video you mentioned!❤️

Bailey Allison Dubbbbbs: Thank God for this, I can’t afford all expensive haircare also what lip product are you wearing?! So shiny!!

Brandi Anderson: If L’Oréal ever stops making their 8 Second Wonder Water, I have no idea what I will do. I’ve never had anything make my hair feel they way this does. I use this as a conditioner the three days a week when I wash my hair. By using this combined with a heat protector, I get a couple extra months between hair trims.

lisa f: In my experience castor oil works so much better than coconut...I actually mix a bit of coconut oil with castor oil pre shampoo & it's helped my bleached hair alot

Lauren Maglalang: Could you do a video on your go-to hairstyles that you rotate through? I absolutely love your hairstyles!! :)

francesca menconi: There is a eucerin scalp treatment that is made for irritated scalp/dry scalp but not dandruff and it honestly is so relieving!! It made my itchy scalp go away in a week or two and I haven’t had an itch since!

Stuart Binnie: Do you get your hair professionally toned in salon?? It always looks great & no hint of lavender

Sonja Forrester: Love this. I want to try the Loreal 21 in 1 when I finish my Pureology. Also want to try the dark dry shampoo maybe it will.help with my grey roots. The leave in coconut oil for overnight. Does the silicones keep.the oil from penetrating? I usually just use straight oils but this would be easier..do t have to mix my coconut with avocado with whatever else I throw in

HonesTea BeauTea: Maybe you can tell me why my hair reacts so bad to coconut anything? It's so weird I really wish it was not the case. I definitely agree about the leave in conditioners because I am obsessed with them I have so many and pretty much all of them about $20 a piece. I do not even know if Sally's had any in their 4 for 20 deal. I wish more than anything you could start a hair care monthly subscription box... kind of like boxy charm and ipsy with makeup and skin care.. very rarely haircare and I never get it when they do... they don't have any hair care boxes and it doesn't make any sense to me. You would literally be the perfect person for the job. Ugh I could have gotten some of the Eva NYC from Sally's. I am going to check to see if either one of those are through the deal and I kind of think they have heritage also but I could be very wrong. The eva mask is 5 stars.

Carol: Omg I was waiting for this one❤️❤️

Linda Hunter: Hi Abbey, I get itchy in the same spot you do. It is very uncomfortable. I now wash my hair every three days and no more itchy scalp!

erin oneill: Arg! I am allergic to coconut oil AND rice (omg especially rice). Hair care has suddenly gotten so challenging.

A F: Eva NYC is really good I love their 10 in 1 primer

Emily 585: Drug store spf lip balms please <3

dee Morgan: Abby, Can you use regular ( store kitchen) coconut pre treatment. Been loving the ordinary hair peptides, new Loreal an andRedKen. Godspeed. Dee

Megan: Hey! Not drugstore but I’ve been wondering if you’ve ever tried shampoo/conditioner from Kerastase? I know you’ve used their styling products but I haven’t seen anything on your channel about the shampoo/conditioners. Would you consider doing a deep dive into those?!

Jacquie O'Shea: Yes much needed video , always look for affordable hair products.

Alisha Hemp: Such a great video, so helpful

Tami: Hallo, Thank you for all the great recommendations.

Priya S: I'd live to see a video that's like a week in the life of your hair. Like how you wash it and how you style before you wash again

Shelby Azure: Always love learning from your videos

Nicole: Have you reviewed Verb hair products? I am interested in using them but I wanted to know your opinion on them!

Ann Neil: I love your channel. Could you do a video about how you handle skincare and makeup with workouts? AM, PM or afternoon. Shower after? Wash face before or after?

Stephanie: That L’Oréal 21 in 1 leave in conditioner looks just like the pureology color fanatic 21. Doesn’t L’Oréal own pureology? Do you think they’re a dupe? I know about the strength cure dupes from L’Oréal too that you mentioned previously

veagee: Have you tried any Asian hair care products such as Tsubaki from Japan, and Mise En Scene and Ryo from Kore? I love those.

ceylonspritz: Could I just take organic virgin coconut oil and mix some of it in with hairitage by mindy’s take your vitamins Argan oil as a pre shampoo oil?

Evelyn Zarabia: Yes please, post wash blow dry video please!!!!!

Roberta: I wish I could use coconut oil. It breaks my face out and leaves my hair dry and frizzy. I can’t use any hair products with coconut oil.

Amy Sampson: I love your lipgloss!!! What brand is it?

Heyyyyy: I have straight hair (it’s wavy in the pic because I put a braid on my hair).Like you see in the picture i have sun in on the ends of my hair I’m growing out the sun in (the light brown hair used to be on all my hair).I use the ogx coconut miracle oil shampoo and conditioner and after the shower the oil.I blow dry my hair because it takes 10 min and air drying takes like 3 hours for me.I wash my hair 2-3 times a week this is good for me because I used to wash every day. Also I look young because I am lol I’m only 13.

Sofia H: Could you do a video about hairstyles and haircare for nurses? I would love that!

maraki malik: Hey Abby you look stunning as always I would like to ask you You always rave about the ogx coconut oil,is the argan oil just as good?

Desert Dweller: Ooooh….how does that L’Oréal leave in spray compare to the Pureology one (which I really love.) Looks like it might be a dupe???

Brenda Linzner: I like the function of beauty conditioner with two anti frizz.shots
