Hi beauties welcome back to my channel. If you are new here, welcome, my name is kmor and here on this channel i really love to give simple easy tips on how to care for our natural hair, also too just embracing more of self love and my lifestyle. So, today, on this video, i just wanted to come and give you, ladies some tips on how i love to keep my hair, hydrated or rehydrated, because the past week and a half my hair really felt dry, and i know that it's because i did a blowout And then, after the blowout i had it like in um like a twist out for like a week and a half and i just kind of noticed, i did not rehydrate my hair now. Normally, when i do my twist outs, i do rehydrate my twist outs, but this time around, i was extremely busy and i did not attend to my hair, like i should have so what better way than to share this video with you on tips on how to Rehydrate, your hair get your curls popping again, where they're, nice, hydrated and moisturized right. So, ladies without further ado, let's get started. Okay, ladies, so i am starting off with a week and a half old twist out um, like i said in the beginning, i did neglect my hair, i'm not proud of that, but it does happen when you are a natural and you just have a busy week. So this is how we're going to get started. The first thing i do is just shampoo and condition my hair and the most important part, or the most important important process of this entire wash routine is the deep conditioning process. Now, if you are like you know what i just want to wash and condition my hair, i don't want to do anything else to it as long as it's clean, i do have a future video coming up to where you can do something quick for your wash Day and you still get that super hydrating super moisturizing benefits just from a quicker wash day, so stay tuned for that. So as far as this deep treatment goes, i do. I don't know like for me when i deep condition my hair. I do like to take my time because my mind is so focused on okay. I got ta coat my hair strands. Let me break this up really good okay, so i break it down into about four big sections and then in each section i break it down. Three more times, yes, three more times you do not have to do this step. This is something i just really love to do. It just helps me get all the hair strands that i possibly can get. So i know that i did just wash my hair, but i still go back and saturate my hair with warm water. The purpose of that is just to make sure that, while my hair is soaking wet i've learned personally that the product would absorb in my hair strands even more so today, i'm going to be using the main choice must be magic, their deep treatment, um. The purpose of it is to give you like maximum repairs. So, ladies, this is my first time using it. Um i've never used this before and i just wanted to try it out. I saw it at sally's and i will definitely try to put the link down below okay, so this deep conditioner was very thick. The consistency reminded me of like a like a clay i want to say, like i know, there's a lot of hair mask out there that has that nice clay consistency. So that's what kind of this one just put me in the mind of that one. So, basically, what i look for when i'm applying any type of d treatment to my hair, is for automatic slip and for this product is, i feel, like personally, i had to really work in the product and really try to finger detangle. First, i love to finger detangle when it comes to deep conditioning and then i go back behind it with a wide tooth comb. So anytime, i do do my deep condition: treatments i love to seal it with an oil. The purpose of me sealing my deep treatments with an oil it locks in that moisture. It allows the product to absorb in my hair strands way more than if i didn't use an oil. If that makes sense, so that's just an extra step. I really love to do and i did not have my essential oils. I always use like peppermint oil for my scalp. So, ladies, if you do have a more sensitive scalp, i do recommend that you use um. You can use just a little bit of peppermint oil. Why your hair is deep conditioning is just man, it's like a cooling sensation, it's a nice scalp relief and i really love using that step, but i did not have that on me today and i definitely had to throw that in there. So, ladies, i just continued. The same method all over, but i do have to give you a quick close-up, my twists. They look nice and moisturized and soft, but i am going to wait till i rinse it out. That'S how i will always tell if the deep treatment really worked and that product really got inside my hair strands. Okay, so stay tuned for that so foreign, okay. Ladies, so i'm going to show you two ways: i like to deep condition my hair and you want to start off with the plastic cap first and if you have a portable hair dryer a hoodie dryer. Excuse me, i would definitely pull that out. I did get mines from sally's or amazon. I have to definitely check it out. I will put the link down in the description box, but all you do is attach the hooded dryer to your blow dryer. You can put it on medium heat, but high volume, and all you do is pop that on your head and you're able to sit there for about 15 to 20 minutes. That'S it. You can relax pop some popcorn put on a movie and your deep treatment will be done now. One of my favorite, go-to or deep conditioning method is putting a bonnet or a scarf over the plastic cap, and i let that sit on my head for about an hour honestly, sometimes an hour and a half depending on what i'm doing. And that way i can relax. I wanted to take a second and just um just send a little encouragement. Your way, i understand that sometimes style hair can be or feel like it's a job, and it's really not it's really a part of self-care and self-love. You know a lot of times we would um get caught up in a routine and you know which is good for our hair. I get it but try next time when you're, deep conditioning your hair or even allowing your curls to dry from a wash and go or twist out take time to spend with yourself writing your journal. Um pull out a book and you know take time and just relax. This is not a journey or a stressful journey. It'S a journey um bigger than hair. You know maybe go back to that one hobby that you used to do all the time and things that were relaxing for you or try a new hobby and enjoy it. You know doing our hair plays a huge part of you know, catering to ourselves, treat it as like a spa day and just relax you know, enjoy the process enjoy the healing process enjoy every bit of it. Okay, i just wanted to come on here and just um. You know, send send some extra love your way and know that you're, not alone, you know wash day, should be fun. Deep conditioning day should be fun. Styling day should be fun. You know all of those things matter and um just have fun, have fun enjoy it, no matter the stage your hair is in, enjoy the stage enjoy the process, and i just wanted to you know just send that encouragement. Your way, okay, okay. So after i allowed my hair to deep condition for maybe about an hour and a half or two, these are the things that i look for. I always check to see if my hair strands are nice and soft before i rinse it out, and i always try to feel just to make sure it doesn't feel dry. I know that sounds weird, but sometimes if you don't use the right deep conditioner, your hair can feel dry. So after i rinsed it out. Ladies i'm going to be completely honest. It wasn't as soft as it normally would be with the other, deep treatments that i use, and i will definitely go over that with you in a future video. But one thing i can say about this product definition like there's no product in my hair and look at all those curls. So that's a plus! So after i deep condition, i either style it with a twist out braid and curl or another wash and go. So. Ladies, that is all for this video. I will leave all the links of the products that i use in this video down below in the description box and, of course, my favorite products that i love to use so go ahead and check that out other than that. May your day and week be blessed. I love you all. Thank you again for always showing me love stay tuned for more. I got you bye, bye,
