Hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome to today's video. It is going to be a hair, video um, but before we get into it, i just want to say thank you so much to everyone who was so kind in my last video. If you haven't seen it, i will have it linked up in a card and down below, so that you guys can check it out. Um, it's my first video back after being gone for over a month. So i talk about it a little bit and i do a q a in that video. So if you are new to my channel um, i would love for you to subscribe down below and you can come join me over on instagram and twitter as well as you can see. I have wet hair today, um i'm going to be doing a video that has been requested a few times, but i thought it was a really cool idea and what i'm going to be doing is basically just showing you guys how my hair looks air dried, completely Natural without any products in it all i do is wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner like usual, and this is what it looks like. I'M gon na squeeze out some of the water with um my t-shirt here, just so that the drying process goes a little bit quicker and it probably will anyway, since i don't have any product in my hair, and it just tends to dry quicker when you have Less weight or less product in your hair and then i will be showing you guys as well what my hair looks like after i wash it and style it, and everything like that with my normal products, so yeah. This is just basically going to be a little bit of a comparison, video, and i really hope that you guys will enjoy it. Give it a thumbs up if you do, and i'm just going to grab my t-shirt and squeeze out some of that excess water. I can already tell that my hair is starting to dry just a little bit faster than usual in the time that it took me to get in front of the camera, so i'm just gon na make sure all that excess water is squeezed out. This is what my hair looks like right now, i'll be back in a little bit to show you guys what my hair looks like completely dry with no product in it, okay guys! So i'm back and it's dark outside now um kind of get away from me. I was babysitting my little niece until my hair has been dry for a little while now, but this is what it's looking like. So i don't really have any like crunch to scrunch out or anything like that, because i don't have any product in my hair. So it's just like soft and a little bit poofy, but this is what it looks like. So i feel like the contrast from the lights might be, making it look even a little more defined than it actually is in person. It just looks kind of like frizzy and poofy, and it has some wave, like definition and texture to it, but this is what it looks like. So i'll go around a circle and i'll part it down the middle. So it is a little like poofy at the bottom and flat at the top, and i feel like that's just because it's a little like poofy and frizzy right now and when i put product in it, it's not quite as like poofy on the bottom. It really just depends - and i do just want to say also like my hair actually used to be worse than this um. It used to be like really poofy and frizzy after i washed it, which i did brush it a lot back then, but just in general it would be like really intense and i would have like afro, like lion's mane hair. So it's definitely improved just by taking care of it and everything, but yeah that is my hair with no product. I think i'm gon na go to bed on this um and actually film the second part tomorrow, because i just don't really have time to do it tonight. It'S already getting late, so yeah we'll see you guys when i come back to actually style my hair with product and everything when i get out of the shower, but this is my natural hair. Obviously i didn't brush it or comb it out or anything. I literally just let it air dry and let it go, and this is what i come out with: okay guys. So here we are i'm out of the shower and i'm ready to style my hair, i'm just going to be showing you guys how i apply the products and then, of course, i'll. Let my hair dry and show you guys. The end result right now: the only product that i have in my hair is just right. After the shower all my hair was still really wet. I sprayed in some of the kristen s, leave-in conditioner spray, and that's it that's all that i have on my hair. I just quickly spray that, in my hair is still pretty wet, it's kind of dripping, so i'm gon na quickly go ahead and start applying these products um. I squeezed out some of the excess water, but it keeps dripping so i'll. Do that again, a little bit! I'M going to start with my ryogio curl charisma, leave-in, defining cream, and then i'm going to follow that up with the not your mother's curl talk sculpting gel, that's what it looks like i've talked about both of these on my channel before um. I usually like to use the cream first, if i'm using a styling cream and a gel i'll use the cream first and i'll, try not to use too much so that it doesn't react weirdly with the gel, which usually i don't have a problem with that. Maybe with some products, gels and creams might not mesh super well, but for me i haven't had a problem with it with any of the products that i use. So i'm just gon na take about that. Much of the cream smooth that over my hair and flip it and scrunch and squeeze and then i'm gon na grab that gel my fingers are still a little sticky, but i'm gon na use a decent amount of this. I like to use a lot of gel because i really want to create like a cast. Hopefully you guys can see me and i'm in frame right now, but i'm basically just gon na do like the praying hands method, kind of doing it a weird way. But i'm just going to smooth this over my hair and then scrunch and then at this point. If i still have a lot of moisture in my hair and it's really wet, i will sometimes take a t-shirt i'll just use the one that i used yesterday, because it's still sitting here and just go lightly over and squeeze out any of that extra moisture. So that my hair isn't sopping wet put that in focus and then yeah this is it i'm just gon na? Let my hair air dry and try not to touch it. And then i will come back to scrunch out the crunch, because i'll probably have like a cast on my hair from all that gel. I will often flip my hair back and forth, while it's drying a little bit, trying not to touch it but just kind of like flipping. It like this just to make sure that i'm like promoting volume, and it doesn't like - create a really harsh cast at my scalp, where it doesn't want to part on both sides. I like to be able to be flexible with my part, so yeah, i'm gon na go let my hair air dry. Like i said, and then i will be back to finish all right, so my hair is completely dry. Now it's dark outside again. It took longer to dry this time because of the product. Obviously, and i have a hoodie on right now, because i was outside um, we actually had some people over tonight and my hair was kind of drying for the last. While so i thought i would come upstairs and just film this quick little segment, for you guys show you what my hair looks like and scrunch in a little bit of oil, which is what i always do. I'M kind of out of breath right now, because i was running up the stairs, but this is the verb ghost oil. This is what the packaging looks like, and this is just my go-to styling oil and what i will do, which the pump is actually broken on mine, so i have to actually take the lid off. I don't know how i did that, but i'll just take some from the tube, since i have to take it out and just like i'll just rub it over my hands and then this is what i will use to actually scrunch out the crunch and like break That cast on my hair - i try not to be too crazy here kind of gentle just so that it doesn't make them frizz up or like separate too much, i kind of like clumpier waves um. It depends on the look i'm going for for that day, but usually i go for more clumpy waves and i just love the shine that this oil adds um. It just makes a lot of a difference for me versus, if i just scrunch it out without the oil, but then, if you do apply a gel or a mousse or something and have that cast, and you just scrunch out the crunch. I feel like one thing: a lot of people forget to do is actually shake out their roots, because sometimes you'll have a little bit of that crunch on your roots too. So i'll just take my hands at the end and just shake them out. And yes, this does help to create volume, but it's also for the purpose of like breaking that cast at your root, especially at the top. For me, right here is where i'll get a little bit of a cast, and this is my hair styled and then i'll show you the back. This is my best look with this hoodie, but i didn't feel like taking it off so just flip it around and show you guys a couple different ways that i wear my hair. But yes, you can definitely just tell this is more defined waves um, it's more! Even like i have volume at the top of my hair, but it's not sticking out and looking crazy at the bottom. It'S just less poofy and more defined waves. That'S going to be it from me today! I really hope that you guys enjoyed this video. Thank you. So much for watching, let me know any requests for other videos that you guys want to see in the comments and don't forget to subscribe. If you have not already, i love you guys, and i will see you next time. Bye,

Swavy Blonde: Thank you so much for showing your product free waves! So many people need to see that and understand their hair is wavy too, thank you!

Morgan: This fluffy first look is basically what my hair looks like all the time because I hate gel lol

Caroline Speirs: It’s so helpful to see someone with the same hair type style their hair! Thank you!! I’m going to get that Verb oil because my curls get dry when I scrunch out the crunch. This will definitely help. ❤️

Apoorva Jha: Loved both looks! Also we're hair twins! And that's almost exactly how my hair looks naked and with products!

macbelle3rd: Your natural, air dried hair looks like mine after styling it with product still learning how to style mine but its been a struggle

NoGlamLife: I get inspired by your videos a lot cause I think I have similar cut and wave pattern as you so definitely make more videos I will watch them all Do you sometimes do your hair differently or you stick to your routine? Sometimes I don't have time to style and dry my hair or I wash them at night and they don't look so good anymore

Marlene K: Wow! Your hair looks SO good natural! Your hair is my ultimate goal. <3

Andrea Adams: Ordered the Briogeo. Super excited to see how it does with my hair!

Elisabeth Eriksson: This was so helpful to see! I really liked seeing the without and with product

Katherine Krol: Seeing your hair always makes me want to cut mine!

Julia Bells: Wow I’m so amazed! I’ve never understood my hair and I’m starting my hair journey and this is the first time ever I’ve seen anything remotely close to my hair texture. What kind of haircut do you have cuz I need to get fix a home cut I did during quarantine

Willow Moon: Your natural air dried hair is beautiful, my hair has a slight wave when wet, if I air dry with no product it's stick straight. If I add product air dry it dries straight and frizzy. The only time I get hair looking exactly like yours is with product and defusing. I don't get it. Any tips anyone?? I've tried several product types.

Cool treasures: Yay. Someone with my exact hair texture. Thanks for the video.

riana graceful: I love this! Super interesting to see the difference

rita smith: You are beautiful with or without the styling products. You lucky girl!

Alma Smith: Wow, it's great seeing the difference! It always surprises me!!

Chiara Birocchi: Also like your natural hair very much! :) I have a tipe of hair similar to yours, and you have helped me appreciate it a lot more :)

kgstudioproductions: Super cool to see both! Thanks for sharing!

Millie M: Do you ever plop your hair? Didn’t find a video of yours on that. My hair is similar wavy kinda has a kind of its own. I’ve been experimenting but I’m never too happy with it.

Emma Sheils: Your hair looks like what mine could learn to be! What do you use for shampoo and conditioner?!

Sarah S: Your hair is beautiful!

S A: I love both hairstyles on you!

Curl Dreams: I keep getting distracted by the view out your window! ♥️ your hair looks really nice with no product

Gigi Gigi: I have not had luck with either the color toning ( joico) or styling. My hair was exact color yours in video and similar texture

Anna Burns: I think that you and I have similar type hair, except unfortunatley mine is probably even finer. Have you tried any of the other Kristen Ess products that you liked? Also, about your hair cut, is it a blunt cut or do you have layers? Mine is so fine that that when I have even light layers it looks 'see through', so currently I have a chin length bob. You seem to be feeling a little better. Glad to see that. Takes time.

Jennifer Zapienn: I would to see a video on how to clump your waves, I remember you mentioned in one of your other videos.

Lauren Doan: Great video!! How often do you wash your hair?

Denise slass-lipson: I don’t understand how you can walk around every day with wet hair. I live in the north and would freeze all winter. I have to defuse or I can’t leave the house. Please talk a little bit in one of your videos about getting out of the house quickly with dry hair. Thanks.

Molly Fitz Brown: Nice video, I think I’ll try that hair cream. I usually use Sexy Curly Hair cream.

Tamara Vlogs: Awesome thank you!

Dhanshree Mishra: Background window is just showing me the dream place for me

Run DMC: Do you have high/ low porosity and elasticity ?

Dianey Mendez: How about just with curl cream n the oil? No gell

Goodie Bag: My hair when i use products looks like yours without products D: Am I using the wrong products for my hair??

Sainney Vergara: You are so pretty ❤️

L L: What is the name of your haircut, please? Its beautiful!

rita smith: Oh, you poor thing! (jk) You're gorgeous! Quit complaining! ( heart imoge)

luckyDancer100: I liked it better natural

Mike Van Dyke: That makes my eyes hurt.

Victor Jones: i’ve seen better
