Natural Hair Routine For Healthy, Defined Curls W/ Boucleme

Hey guys welcome or welcome back to my channel so today, i'm actually starting my wash day in my car, because we're going to check out vuclem, which is a uk based black female owned brand, who recently launched their products in the us at select blue mercury stores. So that's where we're headed to grab some of their products for this wash day now i can finally go home and wash my hair and find a cool style to come up with. I don't really know what i want to do to my hair just yet, but i've been doing a lot of experimenting, so, let's head home and see today i'll be using four products from their lawn. I will be using the hydrating hair cleanser the intensive moisture treatment. The super hold styler and the revive 5 hair oil i'm going ahead and taking my hair down before i get started with washing i like to get my hair, nice and saturated before i go in with my shampoo. This also makes it easier when splitting my hair into four sections, i'm starting out with the hydrating hair cleanser. It has a very citrusy smell and it also suds really well. This is definitely a clarifying shampoo in my opinion, as i was working this through my scalp and my hair strands, i could really tell that it was removing any buildup that i had on my hair. The shampoo aims to cleanse your hair without upsetting its natural moisture balance me personally, i love to use shampoos. I use clarifying shampoos very often so i don't mind using the shampoo. It does a really great job at setting my hair up for a good style routine and just getting as much hydration in my hair that it needs. I have low porosity, hair, that's prone to buildup. If i'm not careful, so i wouldn't mind using this cleanser on a weekly basis and a little goes a long way. So i don't have to worry about going through this shampoo bottle. Like super fast, i'm able to easily work this through my entire head and, as you can see, it has a good lather. Is next i'll be using the intensive moisture treatment. This treatment is very concentrated, so i didn't even put a dent into this jar. All of their products are plant-based with naturally derived ingredients and natural fragrances. Here i'm just doing the same process as i do with all of my deep conditioners, i'm applying all throughout my hair in four sections and then i'm gon na go and sit under my hooded dryer with this product for about 20 minutes before coming back and rinsing, It off - and i know if a deep conditioner works for me when i go to rinse it off once i rinse the product off and my hair still feels soft and hydrated. I know the product worked for me if i rinse it off and my hair feels stripped or dried. I know that the product didn't work with this product. As i rinse my hair out. Just look at the way my curls are clumping together. It is so hydrated. My hair is accepting water. This also signals to me that the shampoo thoroughly cleansed my hair, so that the moisture treatment is even able to penetrate my hair strands i'll, be styling. My hair with the super hold styler and i'll also be doing this hairstyle that i saw on pinterest. I have a thing where, if the hairstyle is straight wavy curly, whoever the style is done on, if i like - and i think it's cute i'm going to try it. So that's what i'll be doing with this style today i will be doing the back of my head first, but i want to go ahead and section off the top of my head. That way. When i get to that point in styling, i can just go straight into it and not have to take so much time like parting. I know it seems, like i just part so easily in these videos, but parting is really hard for me, and it takes me quite a bit of time to get it just right. I'M really picky when it comes to gels, because a lot of brands that say it's a super hold is not actually a super hold, but this gel is a super hold. The interesting thing about this gel, though, is that it doesn't weigh my hair down, like you. Can still see the volume, even when i'm done styling, but it holds my curls in place. One thing that i will say is that you don't need to use a lot of this product. I can be pretty heavy-handed with my product, so the first time i use this gel. I use way too much and it did leave residue around the front section of my head. So this time around, i was really careful to just use as much as my hair. Actually needs and the curls were popping so overall, i'm very pleased with this gel. My hair has kind of dried out at the top, so i'm just going to re-wet it with some water. Before going into my styling, i'm going to take a little bit more of the super, hold styler and add it to the roots of my hair and just work that product down and then i'm using rubber bands to secure my bubble ponytails. I know that not everyone likes to use rubber bands on their hair, so, if you're interested in trying this style out, you can use the cloth ponytail holders or the small elastic bands to secure your hair. Lastly, i'll be using boo clem's revive 5 hair oil. This oil can also be used for heat protection and protection from the sun, so i'm just applying this oil to my hair to protect it from the elements. Since i will be out in the sun quite a bit and to add shine - and that is pretty much it for this hairstyle is a nice little twist to wash and goes, i haven't done a wash and go in a while, but super cute results.
