The Ordinary Shampoo And Conditioner Review | Overhyped?

I'Ve always thought i'll, just wait until it comes back in, but there has been so much buzz about these products. This is the brand new, the ordinary, cleanser, shampoo and conditioner. Now, what is the hype around this? Now? The ordinary is a skincare brand. They are huge and create some really great products, a really great budget - and i should say straight up on this - these are six times eighty, each six pounds, eighty for 240 mils all linked below in the description whenever i find the best prices, i'll update them, they're. Also on my website, mamfromself.com, which has the review you may already have seen um. So the price point is good. Also, the ordinary are switching things up a little bit, we're in quite a trend at the moment where everything is bad and sulfate parabens. Anything which is not natural or organic or whatever else is trendy, is bad and but the ordinary have actually said well. Actually, this has got sulfates in it. It'S got 4 sulfates, it's not the usual sls, it is sles2. What does that mean? Essentially, it is a milder selfie. What is a sulfate? I hear you ask. If not, then i'm going to tell you um a sulfate really is what we get in a lot of shampoos and conditioners. It'S a thing that provides that foam. It will pick up and pull out any oil and any dirt now what's bad about them. Is that sulfates tend to work so well that they don't discriminate between the good and the bad, so they really just are like hey we're gon na. Take that and we're gon na take it out what that means is some people tend to get irritation because it pulls too much out. It can also be quite drying on the hair. Your hair can be really squeaky clean or it can damage the scalp. So a lot of brands have said we are sulfate-free, we're doing this, so you won't get any of that sort of foam. I don't mind a sulfate, but the ordinary have decided here quite cleverly. I think that they've said we're going to keep sulfates in, because actually they do a job, but we're going to make sure that those levels are exactly where they need to be not anything above and not anything below. And what that's giving you is this shampoo. So i think this is pretty good. Actually, it's more like a sort of watery consistency, get it into the hair, lather up a really light, lather and then rinse it out. The hair feels clean. The scalp feels clean. It doesn't feel tight. It doesn't feel squeaky clean if ever you get squeaky clean here. It is bad stop and it does feel good. Now. I'Ve used this by itself and and then i've also used it with a conditioner. Again, we've got percentages. We'Ve got chemicals, we've got ingredients on here. If you are interested in that, i have the full ingredients breakdown on man from self.com i'll, give you the links down there and you can check them out, and essentially this is a mild conditioner, meaning it's not going to weigh the hair down, often or not, with A lot of conditioners, you might feel that they're really just chalking loads and loads of stuff into the hair, and it can weigh it down, it can feel oily and it can feel greasy, and this is not doing that now in the same sort of way. It'S not making your hair light and flyaway it's just again doing exactly what it should do, um now, what i think is actually quite exciting about this is when i used it afterwards. I didn't think. Oh, my god wow, that's amazing. Nor did i think, oh god, i didn't like this. It just really did as it should so for me, i was like oh right, okay, well, that that worked, that's how it should be, and this is a really great day-to-day shampoo. I have some of my favorite volumizing shampoos. I'Ve got some of my favorite thickening shampoos. I'Ve got detoxifying, i've got clarifying, but for a sort of every day or every second day, every thursday i've done videos on how often to wash your hair you've seen them. If not check them out, but this is just really great for one of those days that you're like i just need to wash my hair, i don't want any fuss, i don't need all those extras, and i think these are great great price point. Um hyped or over hyped, it's hyped, it's really really good, and i just like let the ordinary have said like you know what sulfates we're gon na put them in and so what?
