Hey guys so today, I'm gon na show you how to make this easy cute, no sew fabric bow. This one is five inches, and this is what it looks like very cute, very simple. So, let's get started so the material that you're going to need is you're. Going to need a piece of fabric that is 11 inches by 8 inches, so this one is 11 inches by 8 inches, and this is gon na make the 5 inch hair bow I'll, have the measurements down below on the different sizes. So if you want to make different sizes I'll have all this measurements down below, so this one's gon na make the 5 inch and they also gon na be like a little strip. That'S about maybe 2 inches by 3, inches or 2 inches by 4. Inches, usually 2 by 3 is pretty. It'S pretty fine, so go ahead and get that also and you're going to need either a barrette or an alligator clip. And if you want to line the clips with like ribbon to make them look nicer, I have tutorials on how to line your Clips and also how to lie in the barrettes, so I'll go ahead and put those the link to those tutorials down below. So you guys can check those out as well and you're also going to need a hot glue gun, a high-temperature hot glue gun and an iron. Ok. So the first thing you're going to do is you're going to fold it. So that way we can iron it, and what I do is I just fold it in half this way: hot dog style, which is long ways like this just to make a crease, you're gon na go ahead and open it back up again and you're going to Fold both ends inward so that it overlaps that crease that you just made just overlap it. Just this just a little bit, maybe you buy like a little less than half an inch and then go ahead and press the side. So that way they stay down and go ahead and overlap this one too and then you're going to go ahead and take it to the ironing board and press it press it flat, and I usually press it on one side and then I usually flip it over And press it on the other side, okay, so after you're done pressing, it go ahead and fold it in half like this and it's okay. If it's a little bit uneven on besides that, won't really matter, you can always turn them up. If you choose to so yeah, go ahead and fold it in half just like that and you're gon na put that to the side and then get your little piece like this, and we are going to go ahead and fold. It don't forget, can see. I'M just gon na fold it just like that and then fold it again like that and then go ahead and and press this as well. This is gon na be the centerpiece for our bow okay. So now this piece is pressed. Oh, if I have to mention you're, also gon na be a pair of scissors as well. So what you're gon na do now is you're gon na open this up, and it's gon na have the folded side on the inside now. Take these two ends fold them overlapping that crease, that you just made a little bit just like that and make sure that the sides like this are parallel with each other, make sure that they're even and then go ahead. We'Re gon na do the accordion fold, which is you're gon na fold. It inward like this fold it back folds it in fold it back and then fold it in again. So that way it looks like that the accordion fold. So now what I do is I just get the glue gun and I just add a little bit of glue and these creases just like that, and I just take off the extra glue, no need to worry about it. Looking ugly right here, because it's gon na be covered up, and then what I do is I right now, if you're gon na use a barrette go ahead and place, your Brett, of course, take off the take off this part and take off the little inside part That way, it's just the naked piece you'll see how to do that in this tutorial on how to line it, how to take it apart and put it back together. So anyway, then you're just gon na glue it there, and then you can add your wrapped piece. If you're gon na use like a bear, clip like this, just like a plain bear clip without putting ribbon on it, you can go ahead and add that to your bow first before you wrap it, but the one thing is that you can have to open it Up like this to get the the fabric wrapped around in there that way it stays in place so yeah you can go ahead and do one of those. The one thing is that I don't have a line to clip right now. I like to line my clips. So yeah so anyway, what I do now is that I just add a little bit a glue here to the back right there in the center get your piece, your strip, put it right there and then wrap it around when you get back to this side, I Usually like to already clip it before I glue it so clip it so that way, this piece stays right in the back and doesn't like keep going around, and what I like to do. Is I like to glue this little thing together. First, the little flat piece. Just like that, and then a little bit of glue back here and press it down and my fingers are used to the hot glue, so be very careful, it's very hot. So this is what the back of the bow will look like, and this is what the front will look like just like that. So very there you go very quick and easy and easy, no so fabric bow and, of course, like I said before, I'll, have all the measurements down below on how the different sizes this one makes five inches. This is a 5 inch bow yeah. This is a 5 inch bow, so those measurements will make a 5 inch so yeah there you go, so I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial.
