How I Store My Ribbon For My Hair Bows

Here is a great way to hold all of your ribbon that you have. Plastic gutters from any home improvement store and the end caps to the gutters.

Hi guys I've gotten quite a few requests too. Everybody wants to know how I attached my gutters. I think I did a little one on it, but I'm gon na show you more in depth. I actually got this idea off the Pinterest, so I can't take full credit for it, but it's it's an awesome idea. These are just plastic gutters that you get it Lowe's Menards. You know somewhere like that, and then we attach them to the wall which I'll show you. How I did that here in a second and you're looking - and I did take some off at the bottom. So I could show you how how it all goes together, but including all that ribbon that right there last time I counted was almost 700 rolls of ribbon, so it holds more than what you think and obviously I've pretty much run out of room. So I think I'm gon na start going down to the wall, but that would be another tutorial anyway. So I'm going to show you how I did this we bought them. I don't know if you can at first I just bought them and then we cut them and - and I just had a little area. But now, if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't cut them because you collect so much ribbon and I still don't have enough room for it all. But anyway, so what we did was you buy the Gutter, and then you also buy these in pieces right here. So these just snap in here and then what we did was we actually screw them into the wall. Um. Some people have asked me if you could tape them. I suppose you could, but I think I'd rather fill a screw hole versus painting a whole wall, so this just worked really well for us. So that's what we did so anyway, so here it is when you've got it up and then, when you put your ribbon in it depending on the size of your ribbon like if you were to put this on, it goes down pretty deep. So if you're standing back here, you really can't see it, so I wanted to be able to see it. So we tried everything, but my husband came up with this idea and these I believe, they're pipe insulation, it's pipe insulation, foam or something, and so we just put them right in there and then you can move them to. However, you want and then, when you put your ribbon on it, it keeps it keeps it up higher, so you can see it so this, let's see I'm trying to think how many gutters I'm not sure how many I I think we we ended up buying. I have some over on this wall too, but that's mainly just like extras, and then most of my extra ribbon is over here and this little shoe holder. So anyway, those are the gutters.
