Okay, guys, i got a request to show how i make my little grippers um that i used on the clips. Let me see if i can find a clip that actually has one which i don't know. Let me see i should have a okay like this on the clip the little white things that'll attach to the clip that way, it prevents it from sliding out of the little girl's hair, especially if the little girl has really thin hair. It sticks to the hair. So that it doesn't slide out, it grips the hair, i should say it doesn't: stick it grips the hair. So i'm going to show you guys how i make them, because i get a lot of requests. I'Ve been getting a couple requests on how i make them and what i buy to make them. So i usually put them in this container here and i'm actually kind of running out. So i need to cut some more, but they come out like this size. Just the perfect size to fit in an alligator clip, of course, after you line it with ribbon, it fits in there. So what i buy is i get this stuff, it's the stuff that you use to line your kitchen drawers and your cabinets, and everything with you can find it in the laundry section at walmart. That'S usually where i find it and um. I don't buy the kind that have like. I don't know. If you can see the little like these little dots, i don't buy the kind that have the big dots i buy, the one that has the smaller dots. I mean you'll see it when you see them all laid out on the shelf, but there's some that have these little bubbles like these little white dots um. I guess that's the best. I can describe it, it's dots. They have some that are bigger and puffier, and they have some that are smaller. I get the ones that are smaller. That way when you put it on the clip, it has two nice rows of dots like that. So what i do is, i just get it and i just get a pair of scissors. Don'T try not to use your nice scissors if you have nice scissors like the ones that sew and stuff like that, they know what i'm talking about the ones that you use for fabric or ribbon. You get a just a regular pair of scissors because you don't want to dull the blade and you just cut. I don't know if you can tell there's the rose, so what i'm going to do is to make it look like this. I'M going to cut one row of two bubbles like i don't know if you can see that so i'm gon na cut right here. I'M gon na cut like this, like that you can see that two rows of bubbles i'm going to cut all the way down. It'S not very hard to cut it's actually very easy, okay and as soon as you're done cutting as many rows as you want. Now what you're going to do, what i do when i first started making them. I measured my clip, but now i know how many dots i need in each strip and for each row is seven dots. So there's one two, three, four: five: six: seven, seven dots and two rows of dots. So, of course, you're just going to count seven dots for this size, alligator clip, that's the measurement for them, and the size of this alligator clip is one and three-fourths of an inch one inch and three-fourths of an inch long, and so that's seven dots. So you just count one two, three four five, six seven and then you just cut like that and as soon as you cut all your little strips you're gon na notice that on this one, there's gon na be like little pieces sticking out here. Little pieces sticking out there you kind of want it smooth, so it looks professional and even i don't know if you can tell the difference between these two, this one has little pieces sticking out and this one is smooth. So what you're going to do is you're. Just going to do it over a trash can because it makes a mess, but i'm just going to do it here just to demonstrate you just get your scissors and you just cut those little pieces off like that. You do the same thing to the other side. Just so it looks smooth and professional and of course you can do it on the ends that way it looks like this, so that's how i make my grippers and that's what i used to buy. So if you have any other questions, just you know, of course leave them in a comment below and i'll answer them and or i can make another video of me or i can just go and take a picture or make another video of me at walmart and Show you the difference between all of them and show you exactly which one i buy. So if you have any other questions, just leave them down below and i'll get back to you thanks for watching

Kristen Khan: Thanks for sharing this tutorial! For those of you asking what it is - google non-slip shelf lining and you will find it - there are various brands but that will give you a starting point for what to search for when you go online to make your purchase.

Brandy Norris: Thanks for this! I was going to buy some on-line, but this looks so much better.

Ethel Schnorr: Just an FYI...found the non slip grip shelf liner at The Dollar Tree!  Cost of one roll is $1  -  not many color choices, though!

Tamara Deneweth: Thank you sooo much for the video, I almost bought them off the internet but now i know how to make them!!

Sharon O'Berry: Hello and thank you. for the tip on the grippers, has anyone complained of them sticking on tender heads and can that material be safely glued without melting some?

Joan Bowman: what a great idea!!!

Jenny Carlisle: Do you attach with hot glue?

Julie Mann: Hi. Great video- what kind of glue are you using? If a don't have a glue gun, what can I use? Thank you.

LJ Thomas: Hi, I'm just wondering, where did you buy the non slip grip thing?

zoe vanessa: I know this is an old video. Great video, but missing how to apply. Do we use hot glue and how much. I see some people are saying the hot glue method is flattening the fabric. Never saw an answer to their questions.

Rene Torrez: I have a problem when I glue them to the clip. It gets really flat. I don't know if i used to much glue or if I glue it to the clip then close the clip. What do you do?

Clavel 12: Can you use it on headbands too?

The Crafty Chic: Thanks so much!!!!

Mary&Maya Vlogs: Thank you for posting

Danielle Jansen: Hi! Great stuff!! What is the brand of the non slip material? In Holland we don't have a Wallmart so I don't know where to look! Also on Google there is nothing to find that looks like it in Holland... Thnx!!!

sharon jaime: Do u just hot glue the grippers on?

Christina Salazar: What an awesome idea!!

Denver Gigi: Great hack!

Korinna Powell: What's the name of the white stuff you use

Mitzi Blanchard: Thanks .

Sheryl and Fam: Mine gets flat too. It's not an issue. It still works to grip the hair. Don't worry. :)

Linda Wells: You buy it by the roll in the kitchen department at Walmart, Target, Kmart.
