How To Install Human Hair Locs Extension//Dreadlocs Tutorial

Hey everyone and thank you for coming back to yet another video of mine, and it is one of the most requested videos and hair. Am i doing it? Okay, so, yes, i am going to show you uh demonstrate how i install my the afro kinky human hair. Dreadlocks and yeah, so, let's get into it, as you can see, my client she's just sits in there. I know here is like approx. Approximately four inches long and um her hair is wash her. Hair is washed no products added to her hair before install. I really actually, i don't like the clients to um to add any products prior to installation so um, yes, so just keep watching and yeah so right about now. I am sectioning on here and i think i am. I think there is a about 70 dreadlocks. I'M going to be installing in her hair, so 70 16 inch one beyond natural, black color, dreadlock and hair my section in her hair. I normally do a comb coil or a comb twist and i'm using my um, my comb. It'S uh it's kind of like a barber comb and it gives the um the way how the comb is shaped right. I showed you at the beginning of the video. If you want, you can just skip back and the way how it is shaped. It gives um. Look at the teeth, they are so fine. The teeth are fine and um. It gives the the hair good, you know little tool, so it makes it uh easier for me and i'm using my my metal, clamps or clips to secure the um, the coils. So this is the dreadlock, and this is it. This is how long it is. As i said, it is um 16 inches and they will wash prior install. I always always give my locks a shampoo bath and i'll do another video of how i wash my locs and um. So this is how i'm going to attach the hair, and when i attach the hair they are not. They don't have anywhere to go. They'Re not going to fall out they're not going to drop out. You can pull, you can tug on it and it's not going anywhere. So yes, the coil first and then the coil. I normally take the ends and i split it into two two little pieces just like this one two and then make sure the coil is nice and um. I have enough hair to attach and to work along with. So i'm just gon na fold over the top of the lock like this i'm gon na fold it over take my little two um ends and that became three pieces and i'm gon na do a three braid and i'm gon na braid it on to her hair Right braid, it all the way down until there is no more for hair and the excess from the lock, i'm just gon na twist it around the end of the braid, and then i'm gon na secure that like this. So it's a tree braid, it's very strong, braid, okay and um yeah, and then i'm gon na take a little of my afriki afro kinky bulk here now. This is how it comes in the bulk and um. I'M just gon na take a little piece and i'm gon na wrap it around the braid, so it could um it can just blend in blend it in and cover the braid basically and make the lock look, seamless and natural, and i like working with my um, My two prong i like working with the two prongs. It makes life easier for me, some persons they rather than one and um the three. But i i just like the two. The two um yeah works best for me, and this is what i'm gon na i'm gon na just go in where i cover the braid and then i'm gon na just be doing the swimming method. So i i think i switch my the size of my my prong because i have different sizes, so um i'm just going to go in and kind of like just pick it a little uh crochet, crochet it and make sure the hair and the braid is nice And secure and whole hair as well is nice and um. Knitted uh crocheted in place right and this process is, can be a little a little bit just not much just a little bit, um uh, what to say, painful, not painful, but um yeah, just a little bit, then you're gon na feel a little sting. So as i go along so um yeah so keep watching, and i hope you learned a lot from my my this video. This is how i install my human hair, um afro, kinky dreadlock. I am not saying this is how you should uh how it should be done, but this is just my way of doing it and i give it a little rule to just to make it um make the shape. Make it into a nice um shape formation, see see how it just blends right in to that so yeah. So this is how it's gon na be - and here am i i'm basically like almost finished here, and i think this is just like to uh one and a half hour. I think in so far and i'm just going to show you again how i'm doing it and um i do the comb coil and then i section the bottom part of the coil into two pieces and then i'm gon na wrap the lock full of fold. The lock around it and then i'm just gon na make it into a tree straw and braid and i'm gon na braid it all in together, like this, like this, like this and yeah, so there we have it, and i am finished i am complete. Isn'T it lovely, isn't it lovely yes and i'm ready to style her hair and oh gosh? I think we took approximately four one and a half five hours to install these ones. The it's not simple, it's not simple at all, but um i'm getting there, and i don't like to rush my work. If you book an appointment with me and you, you know, you have some way to go. Trust me. Don'T try to book with me and rush me because i mean it's it. It wouldn't work, it wouldn't work. So um like when i just started doing locks uh installing dreadlocks. It would have taken me like six seven hours to install. You know like 50. 60. 70. 80 um 90 dreadlocks uh. It will take me a very long time, so you know four and a half five hours. I think it's fast right. It'S fast! So um, you know the more practice and, what's not you you get, is the more better you um! You become right so um here am i i'm gon na style, her dreadlocks now and she requested that she wanted uh the tucson twist, and this is the finished look and like i said if you want a more detailed video of um, how i twist the dreadlocks And um and how i styled it then um. I will definitely get back to you and answer all questions, so these are the locks that i use if they are uh 16 inches and it the it's. The thickness is 0.3 centimeters and i make 0.4 to 0. I'M sorry. I make 4 inches 220 inch long. Dreadlocks and um and yeah this color is a natural black. It can be bleached, it can be dyed. You can shampoo it and i normally shampoo my locs after um, before installing and after making the dreadlocks. You know we don't want any ichi, ichi um hair on our head right. We don't want to feel uncomfortable, so i normally give it a shampoo bath. You know so uh yeah and just feel free. They are afro kinky, uh, 100, human hair, human hair and um. It feels like human hair, you know so um. I normally buy the hair like that in bulk, and then i make the dreadlocks and, as you can see, i have my different crochet pins that i use. They are popular everywhere. So bye you
