Trying Foam Rollers On My Hair Topper [No Heat] | Neveen Wood

#hairtopper #uniwigs #hairloss

Trying out curling my hair topper using foam rollers I found on Amazon, in my eternal search for ways to style my human hair toppers and wigs with minimal heat or no heat at all! I’m not a hair stylist (clearly! Lol) I’m just a normal gal with thinning hair and androgenic alopecia learning as I go along and trying out all the techniques recommended online despite my visual impairment.

Hello and welcome back to my channel in today's video, i am going to be showing you how i curl my hair, toppers or my hair pieces, the heatless way um. I do use a dyson air wrap when i do want to use heat. I don't generally use the um metal type, uh, curling, wands and rods and stuff like that, because i'm visually impaired so there's always a chance i'll burn myself or the house down. So i i do on the eye dye snare, but but i have been trying heatless ways of curling my hair toppers, because i can be pretty lazy. I did try velcro rollers to start with and while yeah it sort of added sort of a curl in it pulled out hair, because, no matter how gentle you try to like unwind the hair from the velcro roller, there's always going to be some. It pulls out, and if you continuously do that, i just i don't want to risk, you know making my hair topper go bald. So, and then i saw people on instagram and on youtube using these funky little things. I got these off amazon. It'S like a pack with, like a bunch of these they're called like foam, rollers or whatever. I also got a pack of these clips because i wasn't sure if the hair would like really stick to these or whatever. So i got these like medium sized haircuts. I need a spritzing water, mister foam, rollers and little clips anyways. I used it on my luster topper um. I basically spritz it with water out of the foam rollers and left it on overnight, because i'm lazy like that and it turned out fine. I actually liked it, you know i brushed it out and let the curls drop, though this this lesson needs a wash she's a little bit. You know she's feeling a bit great. She needs a watch. She'Ll get a bath tomorrow, all right, let's brush her out. First brush her out, i haven't actually pinned her to the mannequin head, so hopefully she doesn't fall off, but i figured you know. I wouldn't need to do that. Let me get the little clips that i need in case. I need them like i said you don't need the clips. I just i use the clips to secure a few of them just in case you know at least on my luster, because um i don't know if it's because i got the cheap amazon brand of those foam things but yeah. So, let's start off with here mist and then the first foamy thing. Obviously i'm not an expert at this. I'Ve only done this once before and the first one's in all right, there's more clips over here and the next one, i'm lazy, so i'm just gon na grab good amounts where's, my brush. I am definitely no expert in this. I may be doing this completely wrong, but i'm doing it anyways. This is how i roll oh scammer, sorry about the state of my nails, trying on these glue on press-on ones, and i kind of messed it all up, and i ain't ripping them off. I'M gon na wait till they just net gently naturally fall off and then put it on proper put them on properly, and that's that's what it looks like. Let'S turn it around looks like crazy worms. I like to leave the ends out. I like curling the ends, because i don't want that whole like the end hooking, you know and then i'll leave the fringe out and i'll blow dry, the fringe afterwards, when this is done i'll, uh record again and show you the final result. Once they've sat in the hair for a couple of hours, usually i leave it over night, like i did with the luster, but this is this is kind of what i ended up with after um yeah, letting the curls drop and brushing them out a bit. But yeah i'll show you in a bit or well in a bit for you, because obviously it's going to go into the next clip, but it'll be like several hours later for me again in a few hours, oh in terms of the product i used, it comes In a little bag like this - and it comes with several other sizes like, but the other sizes are kind of small, so i stuck to like the bigger ones. I want to get another one, so i have two sets of the larger ones. So i can, you know i have enough, but yeah see you in a few. Do you

Neveen Wood: Anyone else try these out? or maybe another heat-less curl technique? I'd love to know!
