Hi there, Amina here and in today's video, I want to take you through my process of how I cut curtain banks in my hair tapper. So if you would like to learn how to create look, keep on watching two scissors that I've used for this look. Are these scissors a regular scissors that cut bluntly, and then I have these scissors that I believe they're called shearing or sheared scissors? I'M not really sure, but these are great for that layered and even if you make mistake, it's not as noticeable now keep in mind. I'M not a hair stylist I wake up in the morning and I want a different look and I decide to take scissors and start cutting my hair. So there is no specific technique that I can really teach you I you will just see what I'm doing and if you are willing to do the same to your hair, you can get this type of a look. So, let's begin well, this step is not required, but I've decided to cut my own bangs shorter and a framing layers around the face. The reason I'm doing this is because I do like to have shorter layers around my face when I'm wear. If you don't want to watch this part, you can just fast-forward when I get to the hair topper. As you can see, there is a know, a specific technique, I'm just going around and snipping it off and making sure that it looks decent. The best thing about having these scissors is that, even if you make a mistake, it's not as noticeable, and you will see that my layers are going to be longer than the layers that I am going to cut in the topper. And that is because I wanted to have these bangs that had that I could wear short bangs all across the forehead and, as you can see with my hair, I can't really achieve that. Look because my hair is very fine, but adding a hair, topper and cutting being shorter. He gave me exactly what I was looking for and, after I was finished, cutting my own bangs. I was just playing around to see how this would look you then I went in and I installed a hair topper in this specific topper that I'm wearing here at our concealed top in B line honey, shade that I colored in ash dark ash blonde, and I, Like to wear lighter toppers in summer, and I decided to cut bangs in it because it would match better with my hair, as you can see, my ear is a lot darker than this hair topper. So I tied the rest of the hair into a ponytail and now I'm just making a little indication where I want the hair to be, and I always karte longer and then I keep moving up because it's better to cut longer cut it. Take your time and cut it longer then cutting it short and not being satisfied with the length that you cut and you can see. I am just thinning layers down making it same length as my bangs. So that's what I keep doing here and I just kept cutting until I was done with this portion you now with these scissors. As you can see, it takes longer to cut so I was kind of getting tired of cutting. I took the regular scissor and bluntly cut the hair, and then I went in and I tended some more just because I did not like that blunt looking feel I wanted to have those wispy ends after I was done, cutting I then went in and I've removed The topper - I also showed you how much hair I cut. I pinned all of my hair away from the face because I didn't want to incorporate my own hair anymore and I wanted to cut more of the hair topless here Here. I am talking because I was recording, but audio wasn't just recorded very well put the topper back in a ponytail. I took out the framing layers again just to make sure that I know where the top is here is how it's going to look once I get it done. If you don't want to have longer framing layers around your face, you don't need to cut this much. You can just take a little bit of hair and cut the bangs. Now I am showing you what you shouldn't do I went and I twisted all of the hair because I was getting tired of carrying. Don'T suggest this way to of doing it, and maybe it's because I was using the thinning scissors. This was not working out for me. At the end, I had to take the regular scissors and snip it off. I mean it was okay, the way that it turned out, but I think that it would be that it would be better if you had just you know, just take your time go around and just keep cutting until you are satisfied and I did end up cutting Just a lot of this hair and it took me a while to do it, but at the end it was worth it you after I was done cutting to this to the specific length that I wanted. I went in and I straightened the bangs and I curled the rest of my hair together with the topper. All I do is I take little sections and I just put at them and lift them up, so the death portion looks up and lifted and it kind of gives you illusion, like your own bangs and then I went in and I combed it and I separated Making it into that little V that I wanted to achieve. That'S you know, curtain, bang type of look, and I really liked the way that it came out and I will show you the close-up or right there and the reason all of this was done was because I had an idea to create this hairstyle, which I'm going To end up showing you how I did it, I basically just went in around and gathered all of my hair into a ponytail, leaving the wispy layers around my face and then I went and I created a messy bun you and now I'm showing you how I Tie the scarf, I make a knot in the middle of the scarf and then I'm going to tie the scarf around my head to ensure that the scarf does stay on all day and it doesn't move because I don't really have a round head. I do pin the scarf down with bobby pins you, and this is the finished look.
