Hair Topper Review Uniwigs Courtney

Hello and welcome to another video, my name is joanne and i am doing a review on another topper. The one that i'm wearing right now is the uni wigs courtney, and it is a monofilament topper with a middle part, and it is a 7 by 8 topper and this one is 20 inches and the style is pm2011 and the color is tib-246 and it's 20 Inches so this particular style, the courtney style. You can choose whether you want to have a side, part or a middle part, and i chose a middle part because i wanted to be trendy. If you don't know what i'm talking about lately, they've been saying like if you're older, you wear a side part like side. Parts are for moms, which yeah i'm a mom and i'm older and uh almost 45 years old to be exact. But if you are not familiar with my channel or my videos, i am a uh postmenopausal mom. I have been filming my hair loss journey for quite some time now, uh over 10 years. I think yeah, it's been a long time that i've been feeling filming this hair loss journey and um so yeah. I have alopecia and i am here to do a review i it has been so long since i have posted a video. I have not been in front of the camera in over a year and i feel nervous, like i'm just starting all over again. So forgive me this is a remy hair. It'S human hair, it's extremely soft um! I will tell you that i did cut it only in the front to frame my hair to frame my face, because i do have my natural hair. That is shorter, much shorter and it's been a long time since i've dyed my hair, as you can see that from there up is my natural hair and then this is the topper. So i did do some layers cut some layers in it, and then i took a straightening iron and put that through it um to straighten out the original bump that came in when it came in the box uh. You know just from being there when you first get a topper, you have to straighten it out or you know curl it or do whatever you want to do to it. But this is how it looks in the back, and it goes on me. I'M very tall on the back. It goes to about here on me. Stops about here, see that i'm gon na take it off and then put it back on. So i can show you. What'S underneath so, i am wearing a little bit of the hair fibers. I have videos on two different brands of hair fibers that i use, and so i am using a little bit and this topper is about maybe like a half an inch in front of my scalp, so i am wearing fibers right here. I have to wear fibers now i i have to wear fibers or i just wear my hair under a hat. So this is the topper. I did straighten and wave curl out my hair a little bit before i put the topper on because my hair is actually. I have a lot of silver in my hair. Let me turn this light on. I didn't realize i didn't have this light on so and it gets really wiry. So i need to um straighten out the the wiry wavy parts in order to make it match a topper better for me, so just a little tip there and so yeah. This is my natural hair, and this is the topper. This is the courtney and it's a monofilament top. It'S wefted all the way around, and it has four clips. These are really nice quality clips. They have a hole right here. So if you ever need to take a clip out, you can just cut the thread and then just re-thread it the box. What did i do with it? I put it over here, the box. It comes with a book with a lot of instructions and answered questions in here, and it comes with four extra clips. So that's really nice. It is this part right here. The monofilament part right here is very nice and see-through so that it will match your scalp. I'M going to do i'm going to put in some footage of me showing you this before i did any cutting and before i did any straightening and curling to this topper, but this is what it looks like it is rooted. As you can see, it has a darker and my natural hair color is very dark. Naturally, it's almost black. It'S like a natural black, i would say on a color scale. It would be a one or a two natural um. It'S gotten darker as i've aged. So this is very soft, it's absolutely beautiful. I love the quality. I love how silky soft it is very, very pretty it's very lightweight. It'S got a lot of hair, but it's it's not heavy. So i just put it right here now, my nap, my hair, my hairline is up high right here, so i kind of have to pull it back a little, because if i pull it too far forward, it will just scrape my my head see it'll just scrape My head right there so, and i like to put my hair forward anyway, just to blend it better. So i have to put it back a little tiny bit and then wear the fibers. But if you can get away with wearing your topper um a little bit closer to the front, if that's what you need, if you can get away with um wearing it, you know closer to the front, then it's it's really great to wear to have in the Front but i like to wear mine a little bit behind i'm gon na go ahead and pull it in the front, so you can see what it looks like. Oh my gosh. What is going on. I need a bloopers reel. Okay, so i'm just drop my camera again this. It'S not sticking, it's like a suction cup um camera holder, and it's not sticking. So, let's let me pull this forward a little bit more all the way up without my bangs in it, and you tell me how's that look, it looks really good. I mean i really yeah. This is really nice. I really like this. I love the quality. I highly recommend this courtney topper um. I do prefer a silk base topper, but this is good. If you don't want to soak base - and you want to go with - maybe a lesser expensive piece, then this is the one that i would go with.
