As the sun shines on all of my glory, my flaws. Don'T look so bad at all. What was i so afraid? Hey everybody, it's charmelle welcome and welcome back to lax luxe lifestyle. So in today's video i'm going to be showing you guys some of my favorite loc styles at the moment with my loc extensions. All of these hairstyles are super easy great. For every day, these styles can be dressed up or dressed down, and they do not take a long time to do so. Let'S get into this video so before styling my hair, i always make sure to hydrate and oil. Honestly, my routine is pretty much the exact same as it was before. I added my loc extensions, so i'm just hydrating with some water first and i'm just running that through my real locks, as well as the lock extensions and then to oil. My hair, i'm going to be using this oil from nia, the lock god my boyfriend actually bought. This is my first time trying it um. It was oil. I know like she's, very popular on instagram and stuff like that, but yeah it was just. It was oil to me, so i'm just running it through my scalp first and then i'm just gon na take some and massage it and press it into my logs just so that they're not dry or anything like that, and then next i'm just going to do My edges, so i like to hydrate oil, my hair and then do my edges first before i start styling it. So i'm just using some nairobi setting foam and i'm also going to be using my style factor edge booster. To do my edges. I'Ve incorporated using the foam just because sometimes that edge control can leave a little build up on your hair. So i use the foam to kind of minimize how much edge control i need to use so yeah, i'm just doing my edges and then i'm just going to tie my hair down for about 20 minutes. While i do my makeup um yeah, i like doing this because just gives my hair a chance to kind of set and regardless of how i end up styling it. I always like to do my edges and tie it down first before styling and my loc extensions. Do have like curly wavy ends, so i'm just going to spray them with some water and use some of that same setting foam to give them a little curl. Honestly, i'm not the biggest fan of these ends, so i don't do much to them because i yeah i just don't, but this is what i'm doing to them. Right now, water and a little setting phone styling. I usually use a variety of like thick elastic, hair ties and bobby pins and now that my hair has set for a little bit, i'm just going to take off that scarf, and this is actually my first look. So one of my favorite ways to wear my loc extensions is just down. I kind of like this slicked back looks. I think it's perfect for those days where you kind of want to look polished but effortless at the same time and yeah, it's a perfect everyday, effortless kind of style, and then, if i don't wear it slicked back, i like to wear it in a side part. So yeah a deep side part with the hair kind of falling. In my face like so, the next style is going to be half up half down a very popular style, but i think this is just like one of the styles that you have to have in your collection um. I like this style, for when you know i kind of want my hair loose and out, but i don't want my hair in my face and you kind of get the best of both worlds. So yeah just half up half down taking that scrunchie, putting my hair up in a little ponytail and that's it for this next style. Um it's going to be down, but when i want my hair down and out my face, i usually just pull a couple of locks from the front on each side and then tie them in the back. So my hair is still technically down, but i don't have to worry about having like hair in my face and stuff like that. So for this next style, i'm going to take one of those rubber bands and i actually cut it and i'm going to be doing a high ponytail, because my hair is so thick and full. It'S just easier to get it all in a ponytail. By just using this hair tie that i cut so i just kind of pull the hair together and tie it in the back. It'S not too tight. You can adjust it to your comfort level and it's just really easy than trying to take a hair tie and wrap it around your hair, a bunch of times yeah you guys. I love me a good high ponytail they're great for like when you need to just throw your hair up to run errands or if you're, getting dressed up or something like, i feel like ponytails, are just always very feminine and yeah. I just love them and with any ponytail you can always turn it into a bun. So if i wanted to put it in a bun, just go ahead and wrap it and secure it with another scrunchie and you guys i'm kind of rushing, not rushing, but for the sake of time in this video, i'm not doing these styles super polished. But if i were wearing these out, you know i would make sure these styles are a little more neat and polished, and if you would like to see more neat polished, looks of these styles then make sure to follow me on instagram snatch by charmelle, because i Do post a lot of pictures like with my hair, done up and styled and stuff like that, and this next style is going to be a variation of the half up half down. So i'm going to start by taking two locks from each side from the middle of my head. I'M doing a soft retwist, mainly just to get the locks to fall to the front and i'm just going to clip them. This is a quick way to kind of train a few locks like when you don't have a fresh retwist and you want them to fall a certain way. I normally just do a really soft retwist and clip them for a few minutes and yeah. That usually does the trick, but yeah, i'm just gon na put the rest of the front half of my head in a ponytail, and this is going to be just half up half down with the two or four locks hanging in the front. I think this is super cute and if you don't like the locks on both sides, you can just pull it over to one side and have like a side bang. I did a variation of this style, except i had more locks out for my side, bang and i absolutely loved this. Look this next style, i'm going to keep those four locks in the front, except i'm going to pull all of my hair up into a bun. Then, for this last look i was actually getting ready um to go to dinner. While i was filming this, so i decided to show you guys the style that i wore that evening when i went out so i'm gon na start by just taking some hair and sectioning it off for a bang, i'm basically going to do a swoop bang in A ponytail, so i want this to be kind of deep um, so i'm just pulling out a nice section of hair and i'm just going to twist those together and secure it with a rubber band just to keep it out of the way. While i put the rest of my hair in a ponytail and i'm going to use that same cut, hair tie that i've been using to pull my hair up in a ponytail so and now i'm just going to start molding those pieces in front into a swoop. Bang so i gather them all together and i pull them forward and then kind of swoop them around and tuck them, and i'm going to use bobby pins to secure my swoop. And this is something that you're going to have to kind of play. With a few times, you may have to take some locks out and add them to the ponytail. When you do swoop bangs, i find that i always have to kind of do them over and over before i get them to my liking, then for the back. I don't know if you guys can see all that. Well, what i'm doing, but i'm taking the ends of that bang, and i also took some hair from the back of the ponytail and i'm basically kind of twisting them together to connect it. And then i'm just going to twist and wrap that hair around the base of my ponytail and secure it with a rubber band. I know that kind of went by kind of fast but yeah. I connected the swoop bang to the back of my ponytail and took the hair and wrapped it around the base of my ponytail to hide the rubber band, and then i'm just going to go in and continue to play with my bang. Until i get it. How i want it - and then i just touched up my baby hairs and i tied my hair down while i finished getting ready, but this was pretty much it for this look. This is going to be the last style for this video. If you guys enjoyed this, then make sure to like this video um and let me know, but yes, i thoroughly enjoy styling my locs even more. Now that i have these lock extensions again. These are kind of like my everyday go-to styles, but i will be experimenting with like braiding, my locs and barrel twisting really soon. But again, these are just everyday easy styles, but that is going to be it. Thank you all. So much for watching don't forget to like share comment and subscribe and i'll see you guys in my next video bye. You
