Hey beauty, i am back with another hair video. Ah i'm so excited. If you are new here welcome, my name is deandra and i post lots of fashion and hair diy videos. If you enjoy it, be sure to hit the subscribe button. I would love it so so much if you decided to become part of our fam here. Let me go ahead and tell you what we're doing today. First, i'm gon na tone. I decided to pick up this 7a medium ash blonde color to try and match these amazon tape in extensions. I'Ve had these since december, honestly, i've been kind of nervous about application and also removal. I binge watch a whole bunch of youtube videos, and so i feel pretty confident now i will go ahead and leave all the videos that i felt were the most helpful down below. So you guys, could you know just watch around before you decide to do this at home? I am not a professional in any way, shape or form. This is just what i do to my own hair at home. What i've been doing for many years now, my hair is soaking in a mask right now, i'm gon na wash out this hair mask, but i just wanted to mention what i'm using, because i really really love this stuff. It'S just as good as olaplex. In my opinion, it is the shea moisture, strengthen and restore leave-in conditioner, i'm rambling, because i'm nervous. Let me just do my little happy dance and get this video started. I'M not gon na lie, i'm a little frustrated because i wanted my hair color to match a little bit better. Honestly, my hair just wasn't as light as these highlights are. There is a good mixture of darks warmer tones and more ashy tones. I wouldn't say that this is a full on ashy color, i'm so ready to get these on. I'M just gon na go ahead and install them. If i need to recolor later, i can recolor later, but these are the extensions that i ended up getting. These are from amazon by the doris brand. I just really liked their color options. I went ahead and picked up five packs. They do come in wefts of 50 grams and i did also buy the 20 inch extensions. Also. It was a major surprise that every single one of them came with a pair of lashes, so i'm just gon na go ahead and get started. I'Ve got my hair clipped up just like this. I'M going to take the first strand, peeling off the sticker and there's no turning back now. Next strand we're gon na leave with just a little bit of space, just a little bit of space in between the two extensions. Okay. First, three are placed we're going to pull it up, clip it once that's up. Take the bottom one you're gon na do tape, side up and try and match like this. Okay, moving on to the next one, i'm just gon na, let it rest there again we're gon na do upside down we're gon na try and match it. Press it together row. One done many many more to go, but i think this is gon na be fun, and i think this is gon na be easy. So i'm excited look at that length already. Let'S move to the next section. I already have my clip off. I'M just gon na. Do like the tiniest, maybe like that big i feel like that - might be too thick. Okay, i think that's good. We definitely don't want them right on top of each other, but we also don't want them too spaced, apart starting in the middle again, not too close to my scalp, but close enough. I want to be able to pull my hair up in a ponytail, so you want this to move, don't mind my one nail. That'S popped off so so so two rows down my whole head to go. Let me get done with the repetitive parts and i'll be back, but it's looking good look at that. Oh okay, yay, okay, i'm four rows up and i think it's time for a half section on either side i did do three pieces for each four rows. What i'm gon na do is cut one of these literally just in half and then we're gon na apply it right here. I'M actually gon na fold it in half just to make sure it is perfectly even and then i'll cut on the fold and pulling it back up trying to match those as close as possible, and there we have it so i'll show you my progress that it's Blending actually pretty well, it's giving me some brightness and dimension to my hair, so yeah, i'm gon na keep going. Okay, honestly doing the sections is kind of hard, so what i've been doing is just kind of holding it in like a loose ponytail and just kind of like weaving my hair out as evenly as possible working my way all over my head and then once i Have that sectioned, i just kind of i just kind of make sure that it feels the same all the way around, and that feels good. So i just try to make sure that i can feel it with just a slightly little piece of hair coming through, because again you don't want them right on top of each other, it's tedious! But honestly, it's so worth it already. I'Ve used all but two pieces and let me scoot back. This is what my hair looks like. I like that it's like long and layered, it's nice and full the color blended so much better than i expected it to it's, not heavy or uncomfortable. I read in the comments that some people use their straightener to just press the glue together. I'M being lazy, though honestly, i don't really want to run a strainer through all of the sections. I should have done it like one by one, but what i'm going to do is just take my handy dandy, little blow dryer and just brush it through and just try to heat up my hair. Then i'm gon na sleep on it. I'M gon na try and style it tomorrow put some makeup on but yeah. So let me plug this in. If you have a regular blue dryer, that probably would work better, but i just have this round brush one. I'M gon na turn it up all the way to high wow. So i love it so much. I thought i was gon na have to trim it and stuff, but honestly i really don't. I love the links. These are my results. That'S what the back looks like side and get all to the front like i normally do y'all. I am obsessed, i'm so happy that i finally did this. I feel like a brand new person brand new me y'all should go. Look at the instagram reel that i posted it's, the one of kylie jenner, getting her personality back, that's genuinely how i feel right now. I will say that i ended up using one more box this morning when i was curling, my hair, because i just didn't feel like it was full enough at the bottom. So i did end up using four of those extension packs, which is 200 grams right grams. 200, g's and yeah i have an extra one left over. I'M really really happy with it. You guys this was so easy. It'S insane, i'm loving the results. What do y'all think y'all think i kind of feel like. I should trim some layers in here, but i'm going to leave it for now and end this video here. If you want to see a weekly vlog, what i use for shampoo, how i blow dry, how i curl - please let me know in the comments below, because i'm thinking about doing that, since this is my first experience with extensions and tape in extensions. I'M just kind of figuring it out along the way. So if you want to see how i care for this for a whole week, let me know in the comments below but watch my tick tocks, because i posted one about my extensions over there too. Actually, i posted several like before and afters, and also just like funny, trending songs. Thank you guys for watching. I really hope that you enjoyed and found this helpful, give this video a thumbs up, hit the subscribe button and i'll see you all next time, bye, bye. You
