How to Have HEALTHY Relaxed Hair - Detailed Talk-Through Relaxer Day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MZNyL...

Hello, everyone, my name, is vola fash and if you are new, then welcome. If you are not new, then thanks for tuning back in. If you are not subscribed, please do make sure. You'Re subscribed also hit the notification Bell. If you haven't already so, you can be up to date with my videos in this video, I will be showing you how to relax natural Virgin Hair. My clients, hair, has never been relaxed, it's not processed in any shape or form no color, and she is Type 4 as you can see, and she is relaxing it now because she wants to so. If you are a natural Nazi, if you hate relaxers, please stop watching this video now because it will trigger you and I'm not interested in your comments. Okay, so let's move on now I have done a couple of relaxed hair videos, but I know that my last video, where I was doing a virgin relaxer, wasn't so detailed and that's the reason why I'm making this video, so I can go through it step by Step with you guys so right now I am basing her scalp. Unfortunately, it was a bit blurry, but if you want to see how I base the scalp, I'm gon na leave a link below because it's literally the same thing I always do, which is just taking thin sections, so I can ensure the product is evenly distributed. I am also going to leave a list of all the products that I'm using below everything I'm using in this video for the relaxer service is by a firm. I like a firm, because I just really like the consistency and I feel like the products are really good quality. So here I have sectioned her hair into four and that's because you're gon na have to work a bit fast when you're doing a relaxer on natural hair. You want to make sure that the texture is even from root to tip and that's the reason why. I start from the nape so that if I feel like it's ever getting too straight, I can just easily rinse it out without affecting the other areas. Now I'm applying the relaxer only from the mid length to end right now, simply because you want an even texture, as I mentioned, if I started from the roots, instead of the tips, the roots are going to get straight and then it's going to probably start to Tingle all and then I have to rinse it out before the ends get relaxed and then I'm not going to have an even texture all around. So it's almost like a waste of time, so you do need to start from the mid length to end, because also the scalp is very, very hot anyway. So it's always going to process the relaxer quickly compared to the ends. It also kind of just allows you to be able to pace yourself so that you're not rushing the process and remember you're dealing with a chemical. So you do want to start burning the scalp. You just want to be able to work obviously quickly, but still want to do a good job for the client and the way I do it is yes, I use my hands to apply because I just feel like it's easiest for the mid length to end before I use my brush and then I go from the bottom right to the left side to the left side on the bottom and then I work my way up that way and always remember exactly how you're going in the sections, because that's going to help you in Terms of when you're taking out the relaxer it again, it's all about having an even process from root to tip so now that I've applied it to the mid length. The end I'm going to go into the roots when you're, applying it to the roots. Try your best not to touch the scalp, sometimes it's inevitable, but even if you do try and just take that off just so that it doesn't make her uncomfortable and doesn't stop burning or anything like that. You want to also make sure that the relaxer you're using you've consulted with your client to see if she's been itching her scalp. You need to do a detailed consultation before you do a relaxer just so that you know exactly what the kind of relaxer you need to use. What kind of strength you need to use if you need to use Sensitive Scalp. These things are very important because some natural clients don't want their hair too straight as well. Some clients want it very straight. Also, you don't want to burn your client's scalp off so generally, a consultation covers all of that. As you see, I'm going from the nape up again, it's just going to make it a lot simpler when you're rinsing out, if needed. Sometimes the relaxer starts to tingle on her scalp and you do need to events out so, like I said, starting from the nape helps because that way you can just easily rinse it out and it doesn't affect the other areas. As you may notice, I have not applied the relaxer on her hairline at all, even at the front or the back, and that's because the hairline is the quickest to process anyway. So really you only need to leave the relaxer on for a few minutes. I'M going back in just to smoothen the hair, I'm using my fingers just to do that. You don't need to use a comb. I only ever use a comb if I need to see if I've put enough relaxer just to see that there's even distribution. But honestly, you don't need to use the comb and just apply the relaxer, where you feel that you may need a bit more. It is a lot of relaxer by the way when you're, relaxing natural hair, and so I'm just doing that again in the same sections that I went in and now you can see that the hair is actually getting very, very smooth. This is why I like a firm: it works very quickly. It does need to be left on the scalp for so long and it literally just does the job foreign now, because I'm done relaxing the whole back area, I'm now applying the relaxer to her nape. That'S because that way, even if I have to rinse it out early, I know that it's not going to affect anything. So I'm going to smoothen out the front as well and then I'm going to apply the relaxer to the front hairline. Once that's done, I'm going to leave the relaxer on for just a couple of minutes and I'm going to rinse it out just so that the hairline can be processed and that's it. I'M rinsing out the relaxer in the same sections that I applied it in here. I'M just checking to see that the hairline also matches the rest of her hair in terms of texture before I rinse it out. Sometimes you may have to leave it on for like just a few more seconds, but as you can see, I was happy with the result and that's the reason why I'm rinsing out most of the time I always rinse the hairline last unless she starts burning or Anything like that, so I've rinsed it out completely and now I'm applying the five and one reconstructor. This is literally the same process again, as I said as my previous relaxed hair video. I will leave the link below as mentioned, so you can watch that video in detail, so I'm not going to get too much into the whole shampoo and conditioning process. It'S literally all the same products and the same steps foreign. So we're all done now, as you can see, her hair is evenly relaxed, it's pretty straight, which is what she wanted and I'm going to blow dry her hair and then I'm going to give her a trim because she hasn't trimmed her hair in a really long Time so we did that and then you're going to see how I style it towards the end foreign. Thank you. So, as you can see, her ends, look a lot more healthy. Her hair is not stiff. I don't know why people even say this stiff thing because a lot of times, sometimes it's just that some people want more products in their hair. Some people have very thick hair as well, so the hair is not going to be bouncy bouncy until you really do a lot to it. Like roller sets, and you know a round brush blow dries and stuff, but some people don't actually want that anyway, runt over. I'M adding some tracks to her hair. The only thing I didn't really like about these tracks was that the hair quality was not good, so guys if you are adding tracks or doing a sew in or anything, please always invest in good quality hair. I always tell people that, and that's the even the reason why I make my hair extensions quite affordable, they're such good quality and they last for years, but yeah make sure. Even if you're bringing your own hair extensions that they're really good because as you'll see as I'm styling, the hair, the hair wasn't even straightening properly. It wasn't giving me me that bounds. It just didn't. Look that great, and so I was a bit disappointed with the end result. To be honest, I actually wasn't even going to upload this video, but I felt like you guys, might learn from it because I did do a detailed recording of the relaxer process. So you know what sometimes the results don't end up. The way you want it to be and such is life, but you know and that's what being a hairdresser is about as well, but this is not my fault. This was actually the fault of the hair extensions that my client brought with her. I think she didn't know either anyway, so it's not necessarily her fault, but yes always make sure your extensions are very good quality and if you are not sure where to buy it from send a DM to Tope underscore Salon. I'M Gon na Leave the link below to my salon, Instagram, and you can purchase hair extensions from there. It'S very affordable, it's very good quality. It lasts for years and years. Even I still use some of the hair from like almost 10 years ago. I know it's crazy. I still have her from 10 years ago. I know, but it's very, very good quality. I promise you so here's the final look, as you can see her hair is now fully relaxed with the tracks added in I only added about. I think three tracks we didn't want it to be too thick or unnatural. Looking anyway, so yeah. I hope you guys like it. Please leave a comment below what you think. I hope this was detailed enough for you. If you want me to post anything else or if you want me to explain anything further, please leave a comment below as well like this video give it a thumbs up. Share comment subscribe, do all that good stuff, and I will see you in my next video. Thank you guys. Bye foreign

godhascalled: , not interested in your comments . Love it! Great application

Virgo Queen: I love watching relaxed videos. I have relaxed hair because I am a busy wife and mother to a toddler so having relaxed hair is so much easier for me. Plus it is easier to maintain in my opinion.

Natural Hair Goddess: I have been natural for 12 years and I am going back to being relaxed. The maintenance is time consuming and frustrating to me. I am going to miss it but I can’t deal with it anymore.

jazzyjas26: Soooo excited! I’m getting a relaxer after 5 years this weekend. I can’t wait. This is exactly how I used to wear my hair. In a wrap with a few tracks added. Can’t wait!! I looooove the way you speak!

Wanda Pearce: I loved watching this video, getting ready to relax my 6+ years natural hair because I want something different. My hair is kind of thin on top and was just wondering if I could sew in or clip a track or two and then I see this video. Thank you so much.

Jessica Jade: I need to book a flight just to get my hair done LOVED the care you took

Likedbymany: I love these natural to relaxed video. Great results

VolumeP.: I have an extreme sensitive scalp so even when sectioning my hair my scalp hurts and that is before the relaxer. Because of this I do not stretch my relaxer for more than 8 weeks because the longer I wait the more texture I have and when a comb goes through that part it hurts. I relax my hair because having 4C hair was painful for me because of my sensitive scalp. I was thinking of buying numbing cream to put before my relaxer but if you have any other advice I'd love to hear it

CHILD OF THE MIGHTY: This is beautiful. Even the extentions. Looks very natural

snd’s channel: Thanks for the instructions it turned out really well

Lachyn South: This was great! So informative! The hair looked beautiful! What products did you use? And what kind of shampoo and conditioner did you use?

Vicky Barnett: I think it looks absolutely fantastic!! I'm impressed

Toyin: You are not a hairdresser , you are a professional stylist !

Sash Anderson: Right now I'm thinking about relaxing my hair again, cause basically natural hair is killing. It so hard to manage.

dollyrevenge98: Great relaxer results, very even texture.

Teleah: Perfect application love the results

Prim Lushia Manganyi Manganyi: That’s a great way to apply the product, I wish I came to you the day I relaxed my type 4 natural hair, I went to the wrong salon, She even made me pay extra for her to add the relaxer but left the salon with 2 types of hair, the bottom relaxed and afro on top

Pointingitout56: I'm excited because I get my natural hair relaxed and a rinse added this coming weekend.

Kay Naudé: Finally! Someone who doesn’t start from the scalp.

Bee Fancy: Looks lovely

Theresa Thomas: Thanks, I learned a lot of tips from this video

I'm Cy: Turned out great ..how does one maintain relaxed hair? Like, if I'd like to wash it more often or use a lot of gel to style it, what products will maintain my hair's health?

R M: Lovely application…..so tired of seeing people comb relaxer through hair!

Regina Smith: Hello nice job, my ends turned out not straight on my natural hair it is now 8 weeks. Can I put more relaxer on my ends when I relax again just because the ends didn’t straighten as well the first time around

REAL Bad Gyal: Thank you for this video ❤

Chantal Hart: Relaxer always breaks my hair and causes bald patches. It’s sucks as I’d love to get a relaxed pixie cut

tj8422: Lovely results!

Frozen Mocha: Why can’t I find stylists like you in the US

dawrightleo13: Ladies don’t do a sew in directly after a relaxer it will make your hair weak and easily prone to breakage

Lovina Write: I love it. Thank you

Sierra G: I'm natural but I still watch relaxer videos .

Di Fal: Lucky for residesnts of Lagos. I wish I knew of a salon in London that was this gentle with relaxing hair. I want to get mine relaxed but I have no idea which salon to go to

AKIYIAKELLY: Love how you were honest....

Georgia Cordner: I love it!!!!!

Zee A: Love your videos. Been trying to find you channel again, happy subscriber.

Aisha Sabo: Can you please recommend a good relaxer for my 4c hair type, and please where do u base in Nigeria

Jesse Petters: Affirm relaxer is the BEST!!!

TheAnonyy: Nice job, I self-lax I don't get burning on my scalp anymore because I rarely use oils as they irritate the scalp if you leave it on longer than a few days if you don't wash hair every week. why the extension I have never done that I can't stand them to be honest..

Krystal B's Muzik: it looks great

palatable kitchen channel: Nice one thanks for sharing this

Alena Alexander: Getting my hair relaxed after 7 years of being natural this weekend

33SS: Braids after a relaxer is detrimental! You need to wait at least 3 months for any kind of braid after relaxer. I've been relaxed for years. I know, not think.

Christiana Asamoah: Very professional

nya: I’m gonna relax my own hair because I have no stylists that I trust to do a relaxer on me in my area

lovejesus12012: Could I do a braidless weave on the same day as a relaxer

Mary Daniel Akpan: Please Fola where is your shop?I think you did an excellent job

N. ALICE: What relaxer brand was this ?
