LOVELOVELOVE

Hey guys, I hope you are having an awesome day. This video is going to be all about my bonded Extension experience and I will give you all the information that I have about them. So maybe you learn a little bit more, because there are a lot of myths out there, that they're super bad for your hair and all this etc, etc that I kind of had to take into consideration before I got them done. So I feel like, if you know what I know about it, and hopefully some of the stuff that I know you didn't already know and also my experience will help you kind of make the decision whether or not you would like to get them. So the first thing I will start with is my extensions. Our crystallized keratin bonded extensions, so they're, not the ones that are pre tipped and they heat up and they roll onto your hair. And what I say, what I mean crystal is keratin and that's what it looks like all these little beads and all kind of container, for you all these little beads, they don't wan na dump it everywhere. This is keratin. So this is a component of what your hair is actually naturally made of and what we do and you use this thing. It'S called a hot pot and that's the crystallized keratin in there and you melt it down and use west's of hair and you cut little sections off and individually bond them all over your hair and the size of the wax that you want to cut off. Is it going to be the size of the hair that you're bonding it to so you don't have too much hair on too little hair, so it weighs your hair down. Then you get breakage and things like that. Oh they are a little more work to take. Far as like, washing and keeping them in a nice condition goes, you just go to watch yourself and watch what you do, but as far as having them in and having the ease of it - and I love it so much so when I first got the hair Extensions installed honestly because they were so close to your roots. It kind of feels like you've, got little pellets of rice all over the place, just because they're little crystallized, keratin bonds that do feel like rice when you run your fingers through your hair at your scalp. But the tightness and that kind of weird feeling goes away after a couple days of having them in so it feels weird at first, but it's not like a painful. It'S not it shouldn't, be hurting or anything like that, and it definitely goes away. You definitely have to do research into the type of hair that you buy. Do all the installations that I've had. I have definitely had some bad hey. I heard that I've got in right now and I've had it in for about three months. It'S from a website called hair planet coda UK, it is a UK hair company and it is completely reasonable. They come in wefts and I believe it's Indian remy, Indian hair that I have in here. I have colored it. It came in like a lighter brown color and I colored it with a NRV permanent color, so it was a and I used 20 volume peroxide, so it's 6 % peroxide with a red, violet color and even after I colored it. Instead of mint it crazily. It is amazing feeling, and still three months later it still feels really nice. I am getting a little bit of tangling now, just because the ends are showing to split from just the hair being a little bit on the dry side, but and brushing it and styling it and things like that. But they hair has stood up like crazy and it still looks really nice and it blends. In perfectly with my hair, I fought in the same keratin every single time for the same company, a bond to which I will link below its accompanying out of Vancouver, and their keratin is by far the best that I've ever kind of come across. It has the longest sting powder power and also it's the easiest to remove from your hair, which kind of sounds like they like gets caught like it's. It kind of sounds like that. Doesn'T make a lot of sense, but when you go to remove them from your hair, that's so much easier to get out and that then, at some of the other keratin that I've had heard from other people. That'S been pretty bad to get in your hair. The hardest part about having the extensions honestly to be completely honest with you is washing them washing them in such a chore. It'S ridiculous! I probably spend about half an hour in the shower, just washing my hair, that doesn't include like blow-dry time or anything like that. I only wash my hair like once a week, and I know that sounds really bad, but I don't find that I need to wash my hair more than that. So, oh, if I feel like my hair is a little bit greasy I'll wash it. But honestly, I will do anything to avoid washing my hair, so what that means is like I will use basically no product or no heat on my hair after I wash it that additional time and then I'll just leave it. The way that I wash it to keep it from drying out on the ends is before I get into the shower. I cover the ends in conditioner and then, when I'm actually shampooing, I only shampoo my scalp. I also use a sulfate and paraben free shampoo from company called Abba. It is their moisture care, shampoo and conditioner. It'S vegan, it's, I think mostly organic. They have a quinoa complex in there for protein, so it's not gon na be drying like a keratin. Protein would be it's gon na be a little bit better for your hair, and so after I do that, I rinse the shampoo out and it kind of rinses the conditioner that's on the end. They are hair out and then I go through and I apply the conditioner starting at the ends going all the way up and if I feel like I need it, I do like a deep conditioning on my own hair, so my own hair now is probably like This long, so it's getting long and I just feel like sometimes my hair is a little bit dry, so it just needs a little bit of a kind of pick-me-up. So if I feel like it needs that I will put a conditioner on it when I get out of the shower before I blow-dry my hair, you need to be careful about what the products use in it. You definitely need a heat protectant. I'Ve been using the Tresemme heat protectant. This is the keratin smooth one. I believe it's not the original, it's a different one. As long as I use a heat protectant, especially on the end, I find that it does wonders and keeps the hair in better shape. For a longer time. Also, you need to keep a good serum handy. I have this serum and also my parrot in serum, which I'm actually out of right now I like this serum for the ends of my hair and then the parrot in serum, because it is a little bit lighter for my bangs and things like that because that's My own natural hair - and I don't want to weigh it down and also I try to use as little hairspray in my hair as possible when I blow-dry my hair, I just use a paddle brush and I do it in smaller sections. I can usually get my hair and the extensions pretty straight from the paddle brush, so I don't always have to Flatiron it. I really recommend either putting it up in a bun or even better than that is putting it into a braid and sleeping like that. I don't necessarily like to leave it in a braid, because I find that when I wake up in the morning, I don't like the way that the braid leaves it, which makes me kind of want to use more heat on my hair. If I leave it up in a bun, I usually just twist it around and put it on top of my head and then when it comes out in the morning, it's a little bit wavy, but I don't feel like. I need to fix it in any way. The cost of the extensions, if it depends it really completely - depends on hair that you buy and who you go to to install them. My friend Rachel installs, my hair, and she charges me about $ 200 to install them for me and then the hair that I buy. It is around $ 200 as well. So I would be looking at about $ 400 for the entire thing and honestly that is so reasonable when it comes to bonded extensions, because you can go and get like crazy extensions that funded estill on for maybe around $ 1,000 and that's a ridiculous amount of Money to spend on hair, like sometimes if I've removed my hair, sometimes I'm just like. I don't really feel like spending $ 400 on my hair right now, so I will postpone it because it's all totally on how you feel about spending that money at that time and you don't want to feel like you're wasting your money. So if you feel like it's a waste of money for you bonding extensions, probably aren't for you, you could definitely go for something: that's a little bit more price friendly, which is like clipping extensions. So it's all about how much money you'd like to spend on them. Your extensions properly it takes time so when I say that when I remove my extensions, I literally like schedule out schedule it out over like two days, and I know that sounds really excessive. But I really don't want any breakage in my hair and the best way to do that is to take your time when removing it. So the way that I do it is you go through with pliers and basically because it's crystallize, you can crack all of the bonds. So if you just crack all the bonds and pull off the extra hair out, then you'll be left with they'll be residue from the bonds in your hair. Literally, all you need to do is I usually crack all the bonds the night before and then to get all the extra residue out of my hair. I literally take about a almost an entire bottle of olive oil and pour it all over my head and put like plastic wrap or a plastic cap over man and sleep on it. That is the best way to get any of the residue out of your hair. Without spending the extra money on like glue, removers and stuff like that, that sometimes don't even work, so your best bet is to just get like a huge bottle of olive oil, get a friend and pour it all over your head and then wrap yourself up. That way, you get an awesome, hair treatment. You also get all of your bond and residue removed from your hair and the next morning, when you wake up, take a white couch, wide tooth comb into the shower, with you shampoo, once with a clarifying shampoo and then go through and literally douse. Your hair in conditioner and then just try and brush all of the extra botton and residue out of your hair and it'll, come out like easy as pie like it's so easy to get out. And then I just shampoo my hair one more time and then I use a conditioner, your hair, so soft and shiny, and you have minimal to no breakage people say that removing it is such a pain in the ass, and you know what to be honest. If you're gon na remove it improperly, you deserve all that broken hair, because you don't take the time to like remove everything properly and get a good result of your removal. So it does take time and the biggest thing about these Herricks. They take a little bit more time and, if you're not willing to commit to that - and you probably shouldn't be getting brought at hair extension. So my overall feeling on bonded hair extensions is that you really need to understand. There come a commitment from start to finish, and you also need to know that they take more care than your natural, hair or clippings, or anything like that. It'S just a bigger commitment and you need to be more careful with them. If you're going to make some last a little bit longer, you get your hair, make sure you read reviews if anybody you know has purchased them, definitely ask it about ask them about them and basically just be aware and research what you're gon na do because, like I did a lot of research and I did a lot. It was like trial and error to get to know how. I would feel about these extensions and honestly this round of extensions and the hair that I got this time, which is from hair planet, which I will link below, has probably been the best set of hair extensions that I've had they've stood out the best they were. The most reasonably priced, they're, Reming hair they colored beautifully and I've actually colored them a couple times since then, just because my natural hair color is like a darker blonde, so I do have to touch up my roots and usually when I touch up my roots with A permanent color I'll take a demi or a semi all the way through. So it's just like adding a little bit gloss to it, which is a little bit hydrating. I don't use any peroxide on them since the initial time that I did and yeah. I hope this was informative to you guys. I hope that you learned something if you do have any questions, please comment below or send me a message. I'D be more than happy to answer them for you and I hope you guys are having an awesome day.

Alison Martin: Best video on bonds I've watched so far! I've only ever had clip ins or microbeads & I really want to try keratin bonds so thank you, so helpful :)

Aurica Gordon: Hi I have been experiencing shedding like really crazy. Do you have any advice to prevent that from happening? Possibly the keratin I used ? I used the fusion hot gun keratin sticks, not prebond but I used wefts

Maria Reyes: I love this color on you! Beautiful❤️.

Bee Burton: Thank you! I did the best I could :P I hope it was informative!

Bee Burton: If they are installed correctly there is almost nothing you can't do with bonded hair that you couldn't do with natural hair! Once the bonds start to grow out (2 to 3 months in) it's harder to hide the bonds but you can still pull it off

Bee Burton: AHH Sorry for the ultra late reply! My all time favourite hair extensions are by a company called hairplanet based out of the UK. If you google hair planet hair extensions their link will come up! The quality of hair and the price are unbeatable! I just got a new set put in the other day and it's like falling in love all over again!

Stephanie de Rooy: this is the best faq ive found!!

shonton: how long do the last for? xx

Hannah: i really want to know if you can wear your hair up or half up without the bonds showing
