Oh, my god, what is that they are disgusting? They are matted. This girl needs to sort her life out. If you want to go from that to this, which is much better, much more sleek and healthier. Looking then, let's just rewind and i'll take you through it. I'M a little bit too concerned about my youtube channel. If you're new here then hi, my name is sab if you're attending. Thank you so much so as you'll see by the title of today's video. It is a kind of hair care routine from wet to dry, showing you all the steps that i do to kind of keep my hair, hopefully as healthy as possible, especially during lockdown. I do have extensions, as some of you may already know. I have the beauty, works, flat, tip or also known as keratin bond extensions, which are the pre-bonded like individual strands. You guys might have seen it a fair few times before um but yeah. These are, i think, what people would class as the hardest to maintain um. Just because of the nature of them so um, for example, if you get them too hot, obviously they can start to melt. They do a lot of people do tend to struggle with matting with these extensions, which is hence where the videos kind of come from um, and hopefully these tips and kind of this walkthrough video will talk you through how to if you have got matting one get Rid of it um and two how to avoid it in the future um so yeah. Hopefully you guys find this video helpful, but yeah it just kind of turns out like this. This is what i do on a weekly basis. I do only wash my hair kind of once or twice a week just because i find that works best for my hair and it just keeps it healthy and doesn't dry out at all. So it's very kind of soft and silky, and i love that so yeah. But hopefully you guys enjoy the video. Let me know if you find any tips useful, i will say um. You will see a lot of beat works products in this video and that's just because, because my essentials are beauty works, they are hand on heart the best. The best hack, i think, you're gon na get for them um it just works so much better than regular shampoos. I'Ve tried all of these shampoos that i would use that. I loved when i didn't have extension. So i've tried like resume. I'Ve tried pantene. I'Ve tried the dove shampoos and all of those i love, but they just don't hit the same as the beak works do when you've got extensions in. So if you want like maximum and protection against your hair and to maintain it, then i recommend using the beauty, works products, but that's just personal preference as soon as now i am from where i'm from i am in tier four, which i did have my hair Booked in in january to be done, because my extensions aren't too out because i've had them in sepsis since september um. So they are due to be taken out on a new set put in. However, because we are now in tier 4 of the hairdressers and salons are shut, so that's not happening, but to be fair, i find that because i've maintained this routine throughout and i always do when i have my extensions. I can actually get a lot of a longer lifespan out of them than the standard kind of 12 weeks or three months um. However, you want to look at it so yeah and to be fair. I think i could definitely go another month, um having it like that. Like this, you will see that there is obviously regrowth under my hair, which doesn't make it look as good, because, obviously you can see where the blonde extensions kind of sit and, like i said they are growing out, because i've had them in three months. Um so kind of ignore that, but, like i said this, video is mainly to help. If you have got extensions in and you don't really want to take them out, then i don't think you have to you just kind of have to be a bit more patient with it and take care of it a little bit more. Some of the steps i do are some people might find extensive for it. But, as i said, this is what works best. I find for these types of extensions, so yeah it's just kind of what works, and i think, if you're willing to make the sacrifice to just take a little bit longer to do your hair, then you know it seems you're having to either take them out or, And as well and or paying to have them redone when you could kind of go a bit longer so yeah i'm going to stop talking, but hopefully you guys enjoy this video. This is the finished results. As you see it's quite sleek, it's not too frizzy and yeah. It'S just what i do so yeah hope you enjoyed the video if you haven't already please like and subscribe to my channel and yeah. Hopefully, you see more from me but enjoy the video, and i will see you in a bit: wow, okay, nice, no just kidding she's gross. Look at that! They look absolutely disgusting. So i need to stop playing with that greasy nasty, looking hair and get in the shower. Okay. My life has stooped to a new level of low and i'm filming myself in the shower. Although it's not exactly what it sounds like, so i will say hats off to any youtuber that films graciously in the shower, because this is hard work, probably for the fact that i had you know my shower on full blast, because i like it to burn the Hell out of me, it wasn't helpful, but it was hard work. So, as you can see, i'm just showing you my recommendation of products, which is the beauty works, professional, argan, oil, shampoo, conditioner and also hair mask that i will sometimes use. Oh here we go the camera's steaming up so yeah. This was really hard anyway. Shampoo are focused literally on the top of my head and already work it into my extensions um, but then i'll take the conditioner. As you can see here me checking. I haven't had a nip slip on camera, but i will literally work it from the middle of my hair to the ends and then we're out, because that was hard work and now i'm really hot okay. So now, after having a bit of a hot sweat, i'm taking my beautybox bristle brush, that's really hard to say um, i'm just brushing through my hair. Now, as you can see, it's not exactly very appealing looking at the moment, but trust the process. It gets better. Now i will say, give your hair a good brush before you do anything and it just it makes it easier to work with so just brush your hair. Okay! So now we're looking a bit more smooth sally, i'm gon na put all my hair back, and this is where i'm gon na start my sections. So i will dry my hair in sections because one it's easier to do in terms of actually taking care of your extensions and two, because we need to make sure that, because we're getting all of our mats out, we actually get them all out. So i go from top to bottom, so i'm going to section off the bottom section of my hair and i go from ear to ear to do this i'll flick it around and i'll give it another brush. Now again, you might think this is excessive, but actually, as you can see, look at that matte. We need to get these knots out and we are going to do that. Girl trust me so yeah take a brush and go through it right. The next step heat protectant - i cannot stress this enough - make sure you use it and just don't be worried about drying your hair in it, because at the end of the day, it's not going to do any bad. If anything, it's going to be more good for you, so i will make sure that i spray all of my hair and i'll do this for every layer. But i will really focus on the roots of my hair, where my actual bonds are, and also the ends of my hair, because that's where we need to make sure that we have the most protection and then you'll see i'm just taking a brush. Now, on a high heat i'll go from the middle to the ends of my hair, because that's the bit we want to dry um really nicely and then on a medium to low heat and make sure it's not hot, because it will melt your bonds. I will take the hair dryer and hold it slightly away and then dry the root. Now it's so important that those roots are dry, because if those roots and bones are not dry, that's your major issue and that's where the matting comes from so i'll. Do that when they're all dry i'll take this comb, as you will see and brush through my hair again, this is what i find gives me a really smooth, silky finish so i'll brush through that and then you'll see that i'm kind of catching the extensions at The top and going over them this is to make sure that if there are any knots there, if my brush can get through them, then obviously it's going to help, stop the mat and, as you'll, see i'll just go into each bit and individually section them off And make sure that there are no mats or brush them out if there are and be gentle, when you do this, you don't want to hurt yourself or like pull any hair out, because you really don't need to just be very gentle and cautious and just try And untangle any hair, and if you do it bit by bit, then it will work. I promise, as you will see, but as you can see already, it looks so much better. So moving on to the next section, i'll go from temple to temple and just do the whole process all over again and this one's a lot worse. As you can see, um yeah not looking very good, but it will change. You will see. So, let's crack on with that, don't deny that i could do some company. All my friends say: honey. Just let him i bought some new flowers. You are out like snow in the spring. I just want your time. I just want your time. Your time you make me feel like you could, okay, so, as you saw at the beginning, this is the finished hair. Look like i said before: it's quite sleek, considering that it's just been blow dried, haven't, straightened it or anything. It'S extremely silky, really soft, which is just everything i want my hair to be and yeah it's in good condition considering, and i can just kind of run my fingers through without kind of any trouble. So hopefully you guys enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for watching. Hopefully i will see you in my next one

AliciaCharlotte W: My prebonds look like this rn, I need this video! I’ve had micro rings before and they were way more annoying to maintain. I leave my pre bonds in for 5 months and take them out myself usually I don’t get much matting

Jasmine: My extensions tend to get matted towards the nape of the neck and the mid lengths of the hair , I don’t normally do hot oil treatments , would that help the tangles? Also they shed everytime I brush , is that normal?? Or no ?

Mollie Green: I really extensions so bad great video!! Xxx
