Hair Extension Removal At Home In Lockdown!

Um uh make sure you follow me over on instagram and tiktok as well. I have been posting like mad um and yeah. Let'S get into today's welcome to the vlog, i hope you're all doing well. It is tuesday and my driver. My delivery driver is on number 15 is on delivery, number 15 and i'm delivery 16 and i see a van outside, but that has just driven off. So that's great. We are having a large struggle with deliveries at the moment coming to actually our flat girl who lives. Who knows where is dropping off one of my parcels later for me because it got delivered to the wrong dress and then she found me, then she posted it on facebook and then our estate agent emailed me saying this: is the girl who's found your parcel and I'M now texting this girl, who randomly has my parcel. I have no idea where she lives they're, having such a trouble finding our address and it's making it really really kind of difficult for deliveries and a little bit. It'S a little bit annoying because i just want to kind of get on with my day and not have to sit and watch to make sure that the deliveries go to the right place. But that's currently something we're having to do with certain delivery. Companies like yodel dvd everything seems to not be able to find us. However, amazon seems, besides from this one parcel that it got delivered to an address streets away. Amazon has been doing okay excited to show you this parcel because it is kind of i don't know. It'S kind of deciding for me whether i take my hair extensions out or not, so i would love for you guys to. Let me know, even though i might take my hair extensions out in this video, i don't know whether i want to keep them in anymore. They are driving me up the wall, they are so grown out and i had an appointment kind of scheduled with my hair dresser to my extensions taken out, but because of lockdown she's, obviously closed till mid feb and it's mid january, and i'm really struggling with how Long, they are, the maintenance of my hair is getting a bit annoying and how long it takes me to dry it and everything. It'S just not enjoyable anymore, and i kind of just want my normal hair back and i can see that the delivery drivers is behind the back window, not the front. So let's have a look. I don't even know what lane our lane is. I'M gon na have a look and we have a parcel from beauty works. Thank god. It'S not breakable, because he chucked it in the window. Um, which is not just shows how our address is so stupid that it's out the back and not around the front. I want to like complain about our address, but like who'd, you even complain to because there's like other flats in this building but yeah i got some stuff from beauty works because i don't know. I kind of i've never ordered anything from them before, but i kind of trust that they have like the right stuff and they know what they're doing. So. That'S why i did that. I ordered three things, but i want to take my extensions out. I think, like i have my hair in a long ponytail like this, and i'm like, oh my god, it's so nice to have long hair. I love it, but really i don't think i want it i'll decide in like the next day when it comes to washing my hair again in like a day's time, then i'll be like no. I don't want hair extensions, so i'm gon na try and attempt to take them out by myself, so that is what i've ordered. So this is the beauty works, hair extension, remover, alcohol-based formula, deactivates the light bond for a speedy removal. I'Ve watched lots of videos on how to do it. You basically pull the liquid on it, give it a little squeeze and pull from the bottom and it comes out, but they also had a hair extension remover tool, and i was like, if i'm gon na, do it let's go all out and take them out properly. So i thought i would order these as well yeah. These are the pliers. So what you do is you kind of crush crush. Sounds a bit dramatic, you kind of squeeze the bond and crack it, so it breaks um using that and then you pull them out. This really makes me want to do this right now, because i'll probably do this tomorrow, because my hair needs a wash tomorrow and it'll be nice to just get these out and give my hair a really nice wash. I can't wait. I just want to touch my own scalp. I ordered this as well. Here'S the beauty works ex molly may, which i didn't know it was. I just thought they were really cute and i've always wanted these. I'M not always what i've wanted these for a long time. Now um for doing my hair, and these were eight to eight pounds and i've never been able to find them anywhere else. So i was like, while i'm on here. Let'S order them and i like their little pouch, it is the hair clips that go on your hair, but obviously they don't damage or kind of they don't damage or anything, and they just that is obviously such a look um. They obviously hold your hair down like how it is set. Okay, i've just done a poll on my instagram. I keep saying poll on my instagram to you guys anyway. I keep doing polls on my instagram because it's helpful, um and 80 so far are saying. Remove them, so it's making me really want to remove them tonight. However, my girl, that does my hair is going to post her how to remove hair extensions like igtv's on her instagram today. I think so. I think i'm going to wait for those um and then watch her. Do them just to make sure i'm doing the right thing and obviously i've watched youtube videos, but i want to see her do it, so i might end up doing it tomorrow, um and then i don't know i kind of want to curl my hair. One. Last time, but also, i can't be bothered um i've just taken some pictures in this bodysuit, which is like my favorite item of clothing ever and i think i'm gon na change into a different top quickly and take a couple pics in there and then i'm gon Na slob up and get comfy and go sit and work at the computer for the rest of the day and there's a puppy downstairs and he's so cute. I want a puppy so bad guys. I'Ve like been having loads of conversations with dan being like. I actually want a puppy. I want you to like listen to me when i tell you. I want a puppy, especially with last year, which still feels like this year. Everything'S gone to - let's be honest, all of our plans have gone to share. Most of our plans revolve around travel, which i know like, let's be honest. Four years isn't going to be the same, the kind of travel we wanted to do. Yes, it might be. We might be able to travel by the end of this year or even sooner, but i wouldn't want to go like i don't want to go until everything is completely fine and i hope this makes sense. Obviously, if the travel bans are actually lifted and we can actually travel, not one of these like half travel bans that people are still traveling and they really shouldn't um when all the travel like bands are lifted and we can actually go visit. Other countries, that's fab, go if you want to i'd like to go on a holiday, but the kind of travel down - and i wanted to do - was to like thailand, indonesia and we wanted to go to malaysia and those places like the street food markets. We wanted to go to and all of that the weather would be like boiling and it would be like busy and i don't want to be wearing a mask. I want to be able to enjoy what i do and not have to worry about anything. I want to travel like the way i want to so i would rather wait even longer than do it too soon. So all of our kind of travel plans like that have been messed up. It'S going to end up being hot little holidays, instead of like one massive lump of travel. Now, because i feel like we're. We'Ve had to get settled in like a life instead of like just going after uni, because that's not been like. We'Ve not been able to do that and i'm sure some of you guys understand. I hope you do that we're kind of in life now do i mean, like we've, got a place together. We'Re living i'm starting a business dan has a job like we're, not in a position anymore, that we can just finish uni and go travel for ages without any ties we have ties now and so it's going to kind of end up being holidays, and anyway, this Was a tangent about puppies? Wasn'T it i just go off on tangents and because i made lunch yesterday, it's dan's turn, but i don't see any lunch. We also don't have any food in, but i have a click and collect food shop on thursday. So we just have to make it through like three days, i'm doing the kitchen cupboards right now, because this isn't working go, go, grab a mug, okay, hurry up, because i need to sort out the pasta somehow this has turned into dan being over the top chef And i'm having to cook the pasta, highly common in this house, look at the shelf size, though the mugs fit nice in that little one yeah and then baking trays guys. Thank you. Thank you very much. I'M quite quite pleased. I feel like i've seen her walking around before, but a lovely woman has dropped. You recognized her yeah. I think i recognized her walking her dog before she bought. She had the cutest dog ever it had a little boot on its foot um, but she just dropped off the parcel. So i can show you guys the nail stuff that i ordered. So it's this kind of uv, gel squishy stuff that you pour out onto your finger and you like and that's the extension, so it comes with. Oh no, i've opened it upside down. Oh, why do i always do this? Okay, so it comes with the nail extensions which i've ordered this kind of thing before, but obviously you stick those on with nail glue and then build the acrylic on top. But these are ones where you squeeze this into the shape. And then you stick that on. Like that, and then you take this off and it leaves you with the shape you want, i don't understand how it sticks on or how it works, but i like that it's come with nail files because sometimes, when you order nails, oh yes, when you order nail Files, some of them are a bit rubbish, but these ones on amazon, they're so rough. They work so well um. So i think i'm going to try this. I just don't know how to do it. A perfect manicure in minutes easy on easy off fast 24 nails clean the nails of any polish or oil and select the correct nail side apply top coat for added shine, oh align the express on nail at the edge of the cuticle and firmly press down. So you squeeze this into here, press it down. Does this just automatically? Stick i feel like. I need like a base coat, so this one looks really great those two just snapped off, and this has taken me so long that i now like never want to do so. My first attempt, oh for my first attempt, i feel like it's not the worst thing in the world, especially as you can't go, get your nails done at the moment now, i'm so tired that we are gon na get take away. I really i'm excited, though, to try the catsuit nuggets from mackie. So that is what i fancy. I think dad's gon na get pizza, we're gon na sit and watch store, two which is next on our list. We'Ve already watched like four or five movies. It happened. Really fast, um that we finished the first avengers. So now it's thor too, and i'm very excited it's not my favorite one. I love ragnarok so much but yeah we're gon na. Do that! Maybe we're gon na go get my keys. We'Re gon na go on a walk, but i doubt that's gon na happen now. So oh there's now starting to break yay. You know when, just if one more thing like goes wrong: you're just gon na explode, because there's just one thing wrong after another, and it's just setting you off, that's how i feel right now i'll put coat on and some trainers i swap to leggings, because my Joggers are just not very nice, and i put this beanie on, which makes my head look massive, because it's a really massive beanie and i just brush my hair and having my hair, like this makes me want to keep my extensions but they're getting to the point. Where they're like hanging off my head and it's making a nightmare to wash - and i don't even want to wash my hair - because i know i'll hate the drying part, but i also hate having short hair, because i'm not very good at like doing it and i'll. Also probably want to dye it, and i can't be asked to do that again. Having hair extensions gon na stop me dyeing my hair for months, don't even think i'll dye, my hair, you might have to cut this, but are you sure it's the beanie, that's making your head look big! Is it not just your big head? Are you to show that you love me? People might think this is serious, but we are going to go out to the pizza place and order down his pizza. I'M going to go to mackie's. Get me what you want. Oh, i just realized that this isn't a naughty mackie's trip we can. Actually, this is dinner. The only time we get dressed up like this is to go back, he's really really late and order nuggets. So the fact that we can go - and i can get an actual meal - it's quite exciting but yeah. I did a poll on my instagram this morning asking whether i should take my hair extension out i'll or not, and i explained how they were hanging off my head and they're really horrible um, and then it was like 80 20 and i was like perfect i'll. Get rid of them and now it's like 57 40, something and now i'm like i'm ignoring what to do. I don't know. I think i want them gone. You know once you've got that itch to change your hair. It doesn't leave you that's not happening, hi, guys, hello good morning. How are you all doing? It is thursday and it is 12 o'clock. I'Ve just got back from the shops. I have a lot to do in the next five hours. Awesome. Um yeah, oh my god. Our car park for our building is just underneath us, which is amazing, but having to carry food shopping up on. My own was really difficult and i wanted to grab it all because i was like i don't have to go back down. So i was like going like this: carry it all up, i don't know why i'm so excited this is the first food shop we've done in the flat like properly um. I'Ve done an asda shop because i love lidl, but i'm really anxious about going into stores at the moment because of how everything is i'm just really nervous. So i wanted to get a delivery slot and i was talking to my friend and they said that asda was probably like the cheapest place to go, and i did a food shop for 50 quid and i got pretty much everything we need. They didn't have any delivery slots for weeks, which you know what i'm not surprised about. I did this on monday and the next click and collect slot they had was today. So that was four days away and that's not too bad. We did struggle yesterday on food and we did have a mcdonald's, but you know you got ta, do what you we did like mostly sensible things and then a little bit of like we're. In lockdown we bought crisps, okay, we got crease. I bought two bags of peppers because we go through peppers like it's. I don't know at the end of the world. I also bought this because it was on sale for like a couple quid - and i was like this - is a big, a 20 box of indian inspired selection. I thought another thing we're in long time: let's treat ourselves some steak pie, some hash, browns some chips and burgers, and then these are what i got to surprise dan with because i thought what is that? Why is the crown fresh lid in my hand, okay, real good? It'S these. He flavors these. I am repulsed by these. I think they're, the most disgusting thing in the world, but dad this isn't cinnamon bun didn't know yeah good evening, guys, i'm doing it. I think i'm gon na just take them out, because this is how i've had my hair the last couple of days and it looks tragic and i just need them out of my head. I think - and i was gon na film today. Hence why i have a load of stuff there ready to talk about my camera all set up and my tripod all ready to go. I cried um, so i didn't film, but now i'm a bit nervous that the only time i have to film is tomorrow for tomorrow now, which is normally fine. But if this goes horribly wrong and i hate my hair that it's going to be a really difficult. Video to film and then i'm going to have a shower like really wash my hair conditioning masks like all of it in there. I feel like it's going to feel really really nice. Now i'm watching disaster videos where people have like lost all their hair and now i'm freaking out. Okay, we've got the solution, we've got hair brush, we've got the tongs, we've got hair ties, this is the beauty works tool and i've got the beauty works remover and then it says to just suction your hair and get going. So, let's give it a go they're. So great, it's so difficult to find them. These are the very bottom ones, as you can see. So we have one here. I'Ve just run my hands through each one and made sure that they're all not tangled and separated, because at this length i've grown out the top bits where my normal hair is have started to just tangle with each other, and it's so uncomfortable see. That feels like it's not enough solution. I don't want to use all the solution and then run out by the time we get to the top. That won't be good. Oh, oh, my god that one moved. Oh, my god! We have movement. I haven't quite worked out where i'm putting all these hair extensions without my head either, but that's something i should have okay, it says: hold the top and pull the bottom and there we have a hair extension that took four minutes. This isn't gon na be quick. Watch the video and she was like squeezing it at different sides, so i kind of crack the bond my tiny little hair. I have one bottom side gone. It'S taking me 15 minutes. I feel like i've got a little bit of a system now. So there's a couple little bits of glue kind of in there, so i want to wash my hair i'm going to give them a good wash. It doesn't look too bad. It doesn't look too bad, so i'm not too annoyed, but so yeah we're gon na try and take out this side now and we'll try and do maybe two or three in one go, but that actually touching my head feels so good. I hope i learn and know how to style hair this sure. Let me know in the comments below whether should i dye my hair, what style i should have. Let me know, oh god, it looks so bad right now. Can you tell it is looking like two different lengths? We'Ve got like the bottom length and then we've got like the top length where it's clearly been cut really really badly. I just have it in the middle pattern at the moment just to take my hair extensions out, but when i wash it i can then, but there's still a bit of like glue like residue left, so i might go through my hair again. It is now it's 9 30 and i started this at 6 30 and i had some dinner um, but i'm so excited that they're out my head feels free and amazing, and i don't love it at the moment. Obviously, it's looking pretty disastrous, but i think i can do this. I think i can do it and we might have to get some hair dye up in here or something to like mix up the color, because it's looking a little boring. So i'm gon na wash my hair hair mask, get it all deep in there there's so many hair extensions. So how frightening is that i don't want to show you, but i think my head actually legit feels lighter. I feel like i look older. I feel like i like more of my choice, am i like put together now this may be the end of the vlog may not be. I might show you my hair, i'm not gon na be mean. I will show you my hair, looking cute tomorrow. Hi guys i have come on here to end the vlog and in the last clip i say how i'm gon na show you my hair, looking super cute, but i don't really know if that is what you would call this look. It'S definitely messy, but also kind of kind of curled kind of just i've had short hair for a day and i'm not quite sure what i'm doing yet kind of look. Taking my hair extensions out killed my shoulders like i was in so much pain. It took so long, i managed to do it. It went well - and i took my time because i wanted to take care of my hair. I wanted to have hair left. My hair is definitely thinner. I'Ve lost quite a bit of hair to be honest, um once i've done brushing it out, though, and all the like, the extra hair that fell out, i'm left with a decent amount of hair. I don't know if i love the length or anything i don't know. If i want to like cut it shorter, i really don't know for now: i'm just going to kind of leave it as it is find new ways to like style it and sort it out, but i just wanted to come on and say thank you for watching Today'S vlog guys a bit of a long one.
