Hi everyone bonnie hello, beautiful people welcome back today, i'm going to be showing you my favorite winter brunette toners using redken shades eq. So just like my blonde winter toners video. These toners are my custom formulas, so you will not find them from redken chains eq. Okay, so here we're going to begin with my mannequin head that i have balayaged to give her some dimension to have a more natural look and we're going to start with my espresso brunette formula. It is 15 grams of 5nw and then 15 grams of 5n with equal parts processing solution and we're going to let that process for 20 minutes. So when you apply this, you always want to start at the root and make sure you take sections just because redken shades eq is very liquidy, so it can be missed pretty easily in some spots, so i always recommend taking a wet brush and brushing it through. Just so you know you have everything completely saturated, so we're going to let this process for 20 minutes, and this is what it looks like it has the like coolness, but still warm. I honestly i find i feel like this. Is the perfect brunette color um. It'S gon na look good on any skin tone um. It gives richness to the hair it gives depth and i'm going to show you guys in a second the front piece um. That'S where i balayaged her mostly so i wanted to show you guys that it lightens um. You can see like the little dimension going on throughout her hair, so anybody who has any type of balayage or highlights you're still gon na have so see. You can see it right there. You can still have that lightness and dimension. Okay. So second formula is my ash brunette, it's equal part, 7n, 7t, 7v and equal parts, processing solution and i'm going to let that process for 20 minutes as well and using the 7t 7v we're going to really be cooling down this tone and then i'm using 7n To add that neutral base, so it doesn't get too ashy, so this is going to be like a really muted natural, looking brunette and you can see from the balayage how it has a lot of yellow it's pretty warm um, pretty raw looking. This is just gon na make it look so much more like even natural. It'S like that perfect um kind of mousy brown color that we would have when we were younger that just like, grew out of our head, naturally um. So this is what it looks like for any of my girls who have a lot of warmth and want to go as natural neutral as possible. I think you guys are going to love this toner. This color is so so so so pretty, but just for warning this is a warm brunette color. It has a lot of hint of copper from the cb and also the nb. So anybody who is doing this color at home or on a client they need to be comfortable with warmth, but i absolutely love this tone. I'M calling it like it's like a chocolatey auburn um. So it's on the verge of like really warm, but it still has that brunette undertone. I feel, like julia roberts, always has this type of hair color, where it's like brunette, but you still see the warmth which i'm so obsessed with. I think it looks so pretty on so many skin tones. It has so much richness, it looks so healthy and shiny. So yeah if you have a hair color. That needs a lot of richness and you don't mind. Warmth definitely definitely try this ghirardelli toner. It'S going to be stunning, i couldn't have made a toner tutorial without doing a mushroom brunette. So here it is i'm going to be using equal parts, 7t, 6gn and 7g, and what makes a mushroom brunette color is adding the gold to the ash. You guys are going to see how adding that extra kick of gold is going to give this such an earthy tone mixed with the coolness from the 6gn canceling, any type of orange with the t. So it's going to be muted, but a teeny bit warmer. These mushroom browns are the best way to describe them is earthy. They look like you know, just an earthy, hair, color, very natural, and look really really good on someone who just wants something to be um. Look like it grew straight out of their head, like just their own natural color um. So here it is, you can see how it has a little bit more warmth than the last cool brunette that we did, which i think is so so stunning and it just looks super healthy. It looks super shiny and yeah, i'm obsessed with it and then our final look is my salted caramel brunette. I'M gon na compare this color to elizabeth olsen's hair. I always love her hair colors. She has gorgeous green eyes her skin tones. You know pretty fair um and this always looks so pretty. It gives that skin tone a little bit more warmth um, but it's like a cinnamon type of like toasted, cinnamon, i'll, say um. So it's on the verge of being like an auburn again, but it still has those brunette undertones to carry it through. So i think you guys are going to really love this one, i'm just all about these auburn tones for winter. I think that's just what makes like a auburn tone feels wintery to me um, so yeah. This is the final result. You can see how it has like that hint of copper again, which i think is gorgeous. I love like very subtle, auburn um in hair color. I just think it makes it look so much healthier and just more vibrant and your eye just like catches it and it's just like that. Perfect amount. It'S not too too warm. It would look natural on so many people and again just refreshes. The hair makes it so healthy. You can see those pretty balayage lines all throughout that don't totally disappear because shades eq is that like perfect, color so yeah, i love these toners. I'M going to show you guys the rest in natural light. Okay, everyone, here's! The final result, thank god we have daylight. That'S all i've got to say: um can't see anything in there, so this is our first toner the espresso, and you can see how like gorgeous and like it's like that warm but cool, brunette um. I think it's gon na look so beautiful on a lot of different skin tones, especially this winter, and if you can see right here that pop of face frame the little lighter piece. So for all my girls out there, who do have a little bit of like a highlight through their hair you're, still going to have these really pretty light pieces shine through. Even though it's a deeper color, then we've got our second one here, this one's much more cool. This is the ash brunette. So for somebody who really wants to take a lot of the warmth out of their hair, you can tell like, when we first started with the mannequin. It was this color and see how much ashier it is now. So this is a really good one for girls who are struggling with a lot of warmth. Then we've got this one, which is actually my favorite. It'S this like kind of deep cocoa color with a little bit of warmth. But it's like that beautiful, like chocolatey auburn um. I actually keep. The word keeps coming to mind ghirardelli um, so i think that's actually what i'm gon na call this now and then again. This is what our previous hair looked like when we first balayaged it. So that's right here and then we've got our fourth toner right here. This is the mushroom brown. It'S really muted, but still has a little bit of warmth. This color is so huge right now, so anybody who's been wanting to try it. It'S a mixture of the ash and the gold, and it's really gorgeous it's very earthy, which i really like and then our last toner right here. It'S got a little bit of warmth, kind of has that like toasted cinnamon tone um, so really pretty. For somebody who doesn't mind like a warmer brunette and wants to see that um a little bit of warmth in their hair after they're done toning, and you can tell it still has those lighter blonde pieces all throughout just in case, you have a little bit of The highlight it's not going to totally take that tone away. So yeah hope you guys, like these tutorials, i'm going to be doing the red one next and then tag me on instagram. It'S daniela bonita! If you guys end up using any of these toners on your clients, i love seeing them. Thank you guys. So much for watching see you on the next one bye you

Ana Caro: Please Daniella do more brunette formulas, would love to see a "light golden browns, Thank you for helping all of us DIY girls who don't want to look like a Dorito!

Miela Lucia: Thank you Daniella! I did the mushroom brunette and it's so stunning. Please make more recipe/formula videos like this (particularly for brunettes/brondes, with an emphasis on tonal variations and nuanced shades), such an amazing concept and so helpful for those of us who like to DIY hair color but want a professional outcome. So grateful for you.

T London: I adore you for being so gracious and teaching us tips and tricks. Educating us and being so real. This is now my favorite line because of you. You are truly awesome! I just found you several days ago and I went out and bought shades eq I have started playing on my self and Manikin. I just used on a client. She loves it. Thank you for helping this Texas girl. You are also the cutes! So proud of your beautiful salon! You are Goals!

HayGurl Hay: Love this video! Thank you so much, it's really nice to see what the outcome of the mixtures is. They're all beautiful :)

MsWendyRomo: This is my favorite type of video! Thank you so much for all your helpful tips and tricks, you’re a game changer❤️

Daniella Nuncia: Hi! So I did toner number two and when I tell you I’m literally obsessed with it it came out so beautiful! The only thing for me is I’m noticing I have a little bit more gold tones throughout my hair and a little bit of red on the top you can’t even see it it looks morsel of a chocolate brown but the underlying warm color is definitely a little bit of red. I was wondering which toner from Redken would you suggest that has a little bit of green in it?

Sliver Screen: Hello Daniella! Thank you for the content. It’s quite informative. I’m planning on using your Ash Brunette formula. I’m growing out a very light blonde balayage. Would you recommend I fill the hair first with a separate Redken shades eq shade? Thanks in advance!

Ashley Umsted: I never realized how hard it is to get back to your natural hair color till I actually wanted it. If you could make more to get close to a natural hair color or just crazy experiments of color. That would be amazing!

Eileen Galindo: Stylist here and you’re doing great with your content. Helping me transition from a franchise to independent contractor. My background is in matrix but I’ve been trying to expose myself to redkin because, well, it’s redkin. Do I need to say more? Lol

Jess Hartigan: Thanks for the great videos! I’ve been looking for informative videos like this with mixed shades eq to see how they turn out! I have brown roots and lighter ends like level 9 can I use level 7 and 8s to make it darker blonde or light brown on the level 9 bits? Thanks

Pasiflora Incarnata: Gracias por la formula Ghiradelli Brunette, es muy bonita. Has más vídeos como este. ✨

Kristi & Jeff Gillis: Love these helpful formulas I did the espresso on myself I had some highlights done that just didn't look good and it came out sooo good the highlights give the brown a good dimension best hair color I've had in awhile!! Would love to see more of your formulas for brunettes and can you tell me what size barrel your using on your curler?!?

lizett a: This is so helpful! Thank you!

Maddness Pictures: Thank you so much for doing these videos and being so gracious and giving with your tips! There really is nothing else or no one else doing this out there. I recently got a balayage that turned out way too golden. I am desperate to get back to a rich brunette. How long after having the balayage do I need to wait to do one of these mixes from the video? I don't want to damage my hair. Also when you say 5grams is that half of each bottle? That's probably a very silly question. Thank you so so much again!!!

celine silva: girl your videos help so much! would love to see more content

Rizza Floreza: Thank you so much, you’re so awesome! I’ve been following you on your youtube and ig account in a while and I learned a lot especially the redken shades eq formulas. Thank you ❤️

Dani: I absolutely love you! My favorite page by far. I cannot wait for the red toner video ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sarah: Another amazing video Daniella!! Loved the entrance from your salon. Hard to pick a favorite. I guess the mushroom as it’s how I’m trending now personally. Still love a salted caramel! Perfection!

Birdwatcher: awesome! Thank you! This is a great way to help us , to show your formulas and the results. It lessens the confusion and allows us to pick the result first, then follow your formula . I have a question about5na smoke, can I email you? I don’t have instagram

Lacie Falzerano: I found this soooo so helpful. I feel like I will be able to better choose the perfect color for toning my hair at home. I kinda want to go cooler, but not too ashy, what do you think?

Michael Davis: Thank you for sharing your formulas. This sets you apart from other stylists here on YouTube. Do you do any classes?

ximehenna Puentes: Thank you so much for this videos, I spent so many hours searching for what to do with my yellowish balayage hair.

A C: These are so beautiful! Could they be achieved on platinum blonde hair?

Trinity Kerr: I want to go back to brunette after it being bleached blonde, what would you recommend to use as a filler colour before with the EQ line? I want to end up quite a neutral/ashy brown at the end, absolutely love the ash and espresso formulas!

Julie Akers: Thanks for all your help with formulas I love shades Eq love all you videos.

Debbie Packer: It's so very cool to see these all side by side! I really like the Ghiradelli one; it has that slight cherry cola vibe. I'm wondering... what is the starting level is for your model?

Daniella Benita: Hope you all like these toners! Let me know which was your favorite and if you have any questions

Naji Najm: You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

tvftanz: Thanks Benita! Which redken color lacquer will you use for grays in ash brunette example?

Laura Cristina Gomez Esquivel: Love this video!! Thank you so so much. You are AMAZING!!!! I just have one question, does this toners covers whites?? Also i have a request, can you please make a video like this one but for ashy, cold, warm, gold, 9 tone blonde? TIA

H: I have about 10% gray and otherwise have very dark brown hair (Asian hair). Is it okay for me to use 03N Espresso all over? Or do I have to include 10-25% NB in the mixture as well? If so, would that be 03NB then? Thank you!

Destiny Brown: Wonderful job!

LifeAsEnidCarr: Thank you so much if I didn’t find your video I would of just dyed my hair brown . I spent so much at salon for balayage and it wasn’t what I wanted but I let it be being I spent so much I wanted to tone and fix it myself I will be doing the first one in the video just bought everything from Walmart thank you so much I see you said equal parts so do I pour the whole two bottle than do 30 gram of processing

Rainbow Light Warrior: They all look amazing! Thank you for the video. I am curious to see what the Moroccan Brown + Irish Cream would look like. Do you think mixing them would yield a pretty color? What mannequin and stand are you using? I have been searching around...

Janine N: i just colored my hair "mushroom brunette" and it turned out beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your formulas!!!

Shelbykbeauty: Loved this!!! Thank you!!

Angela Lee: These are excellent!! Thanks !

AprilDB: Very helpful thank you!! Any ideas for a deep auburn blonde on level 9 ?

Kate Watford: The first one is practically my natural hair color!

Wendy Jaillett: How often can you use shades EQ on your hair? Can you do a root melt to cover grays in between colors? Love your videos. Thank you.

Tracy D: Very nice. I would love to see your favorite dark brunette colors. Perhaps 5 and below

Emily Fleming: Hi I had a quick question, I’ve bleached my hair and I’ve bought two redken shades eq toners, my hair is a mixture of yellow/orange tones after bleaching and I wondered if you knew if I was to mix together 08VB and 08NA would that be nice together and would it also cancel out the yellow/orange tones ? I’m new to using the redken shades eq so don’t know what the two colours would be like mixed together

Rosaura Vega Baez: Hello . If you use these toners on a head full of highlights , that range from level 7 to 8 . Will these toners eventually just wash off on they’re own? And leave you At the original levels ? Thanks

Melanie Crowley: Hi, my hair is quite ashy blonde and I really want to warm it up. I'm tempted to go darker but not too sure which tones to go for. Many thanks.

Abdullah Ansari: I have a very golden skin undertone and I want to go lighter for Autumn, I'm trying to figure out whether I should do a natural 8N Mohave + 7NB Chestnut and contrast with my skin tone, or go warmer and do 07NW + 07GB and match the warmth of my skin tone

Kiara McClintic: for the second color did u leave the two shades on for 20 mins and then proceed to put the ash brunette shades on it after ? i’m trying to transition my hair today to a very natural brown as i have some lighter almost blonde at my tips

meghan C: Hello, hope you will see this comment as this video is older. I'm an out of practice stylist. I have been doing my own hair just highlights/toning/shadow root for the past couple years. I am due for something and I am considering trying to darken my grown out highlights. I have quite a bit of natural, but the highlights are level 10+. Do you think the salted caramel would cover nicely or would I need to fill with something first?

Zahra Rizvi: Thanks for another amazing video. Redken shades eq and you are God sent.. ❤️

Mary Kerr: Thank you for these!

UNITEDWESTAND: I know this video is older, but I would kill for a video on your typical ashy blonde all over and then a variety of root smudges sectioned off as you are doing in this video, but for root smudge. I go back and forth on what I should do to make my grow out look the best and most natural it can be without being brassy. I bet there are a lot of blondes out there that would love some sort of variety of root smudges to help in between their salon visits. Help us!!! Thank you.

Amy Galvin: Great formulas!

MegaTinni: Could you do your own color? Loved these!

Finn Barnes: Benita, can I add 06ABN to the first formulation to cut back a little on red? thank you

Stefanie Schmidauer: Hi Daniella! Thanks for your great videos! I would like to order the bottles for ASH Brunette but 7V does not exist in Europe I guess „7VB Star“ is not the right color? Thanks for helping - greetings from Austria

Lara Cassar: Would this work with a full head of highlights ? Even though they are grown out im natural brunette looking to go mushroom brown also I cant seem to find 06GN redken Eq shade in the mushroom brown could you reccomend anywhere i could find it please or could I use 06N or 06G with the rest of the shades on mushroom brown? love the video thankyou

guiliana pajuelo: Me encanto el chocolate auburn y el ultimo cinnamon toast gracias se puede hechar en una base de tono oscuro como cafe???

Eva van Dijk: I’m currently between a level 8 and 9 bleached blond hair and want to go to brunette, is it possible to get that mushroom color or should I fill in my hair first? What formula would you recommend?

moodywitbooty: Can you use these on natural grey/white hair?

Israel Rivera: can you do #3 on dark brown hair?

Bridgette Lloyd: Oh please do a fall redhead video!!

Romy De Kegel: Hiii, love this and can’t wait to try it but I have a question when I use shades in de brown tones on fresh highlights it doesn’t always come out the way I want… is it bcs my highlights are to light? Or is there an other reason?

Sisters Vlogs: Love this, and love your vintage hair brush:) from where did you get this!!!

Musu Jones: Your video is one the best I have ever watch on YouTube great Job

Douglas Hathaway: Would you say that the sample hair you were coloring was a level 5 or 6? I really liked the Mushroom Brown but wasn’t sure if I should go level 5 bcz my client has level 5 hair but yet you’ve got level 7 toner.

Yvette Lieschke Mercer: Hello - did you end up doing the red toners video ? I would love to see this one.

Sofia Meloche: Hi, will the first tone only work on hair that is lighter than black? I have black hair and that is the colour I really love. Thank you!

Caroline McGarry-Ross: These are Great!!!

SmittenKitten: Umm, hi. Do you have wings? Because you are an ANGEL for doing this! I am so grateful for this succinct, yet perplexingly thorough, demonstration!

GLAM ft Mamasdolly: Can you do this in highlight hair pleasee thanks xoxox

lizzet castro: I’m new here and I love your Chanel , thank you

Becky Torpey: Thanks for this, I can't find 6GN in the UK, from the mushroom brunette combo, we do have 6T/6G/6N though, will this be a close enough combo. I have orange/warmth coming through I just dont want to go cool tone

Greet Verboven: Thank you so much !

Ayra Almo: Can I mix 7N & 6G to get a similar "mushroom" effect?

Елена Перова: Toner #1-super , toner #2 - super .Experiment further !

Ivette McNeill: Can I apply all over hair ?

H M: Daniella i want to try mushroom brunette but i have a level 4 rootage ... im not sure what roots colour to put...and if it will blend well with mushroom brunette. Thanks for ur help!

Finn Barnes: I love the first one. espresso brunette... but the fact that its level 5 scares me. I feel like it would be too dark. I use 6ABN and even THAT is too dark. can non-hairdressers buy redken shades eq anywhere?

nyapple1978: We need to see the red ❤️

Nefeli 1: I qurently have an ashy dark blonde balayage and I want to try the espresso brunette, I know over time it will lighten but I want it to be permanently a shade darker than it already is, will it work on my case?

Nina Kuhn: So if my hair is naturally dark brown and I want a richer color what do I use? 5n 5g? 5 NW?

Katlyn Mannella: And you can put all of these on let’s say a level 6/7 orange brassy to get rid of warmth with added dimension if the hair was a 4 at the root? I especially like the ashy brunette

Kim Noel: Will these cover salt and pepper hair?

Finn Barnes: I use ONLY 06ABN and its too cool. I buy it from Walmart but people say their stuff may be expired. I like your espresso brunette but want to take out a little of the warmth. what formula could I use....?

I.D: Can i replace 7v with 7vb?

I.M.: Hey i love your video and i really want to achieve the expresso brown look but unfortunately i cant find the 5NW anywhere. My hair has caramel highlights in my dark brown hair and a lighter money piece, i was wondering could you pls help me with a formula that will achieve that espresso brown all over don’t want my money piece to be as blonde anymore sorta blend in. Ive been researching alot and your video is the best ive found, your help would mean alot❤️

Isabella Bernardo: Hi can i use also the new processing solution ? Its Always from redken

Lynne McMonagle: I would suggest you look into no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.

Amelia Bacani: Will this work if the client doesn’t have pre lightened/ highlights in their hair? And their hair is dark?

Onefortheroad 99: My hair is a dark brown/black depending on lighting and I want to go espresso brunette. Would I have to bleach my hair to achieve this?

Najla Ahmed: ❤️❤️❤️

alidemsja: I wonder what these formulas would actually look on natural brown hair without bleach -....

Maria Fontana : Great video

CRISTINA v: daniella ! for the espresso brunette does is cover the white hair? as well?

Hannah . M: If I do this on my blonde highlighted hair will it turn green or orange or should I be ok??

Amy D: Hey! I need help. I’m pretty sure I’ve got COVID and have to color at home to be ready for my daughters homecoming. I’m a level 5 naturally. Ive got balayage that’s months old and pretty faded to a soft almost red. Ive got Shades EQ cream 05WB, 05WN, then I have Redken beyond cover chromatic 5NW and I also have a 5RC. My highlights are really faded again and I’m just trying to cover my 10% gray and get to a pretty chocolate brown (close to natural). It doesn’t sound like I’m so extreme that I need to “fill” but do u think I can do something with what I have here??

Irene Mejia: I have blond hair I love the mushroom brown so I bought all the product you posted I just scared I don't want it to go green so would it come ok if I use them

Finn Barnes: which one has more warmth? the mushroom or the espresso? #5 or #1?

Casey Richard: Will 5n redken 5n eq gloss cover my natural 6a hair

lolo 36: I like the first one

Thomas de Wit: I want an ashy natural brown. They don’t sell 7v in the Netherlands. Will i still get a nice result if i use 15 gr 7T and 15 gr 7N?
