Hi guys welcome back to house of hair UK hope. Everyone is safe and well. If you're new to this channel, don't forget to hit the subscribe button and the notification bells that you can be notified anytime. I post new content, so I'm not gon na have no long intro for this video. I'M just gon na jump straight into the top 14 questions that are commonly asked with regards to hair extensions and my hair extensions, so on question number one: how many methods of hair extensions do we do in our son? So our hair extensions are in two different categories: we have our Weston hair extensions and then we have our strand by strand hair extensions. So our strand by strand hair extension, we have our micro link or micro, green hair extensions. We have our hot fusion hair extensions. Brazilian knots and then our ultra tip hair extensions so for our WestEd methods of hair extensions, we have five different methods. So our latest method is our invisi weave method. Then we have the invisible flat weft. We then have brainless weave. We have a method called quick weft. Then we have our braided. We can you wear these hair extensions if you have curly tight, curled or wavy hair, and the answer is yes. Hair extensions can be used on all different hair textures, but the key is that the hair extensions that you are using matches the texture of your natural hair if the two textures do not match and it's very difficult to blend the hair and you're left with music Lots of products or using heat to make the two different textures blend better. How often should I wash my hair extension so because hair extensions are semi-permanent and they are in your hair from between six weeks to ten, possibly 12 weeks, it is ideal that you would wash your hair, maybe once or twice a week for European clients and for Clients who have got more afro, textured hair, I would recommend that you wash your hair, maybe once every two weeks or possibly want every three weeks. So this question is asked all at the time. Do hair extensions, pull your hair out and the answer is possibly hair. Extensions can pull your hair out I'll. Give you the two main reasons why this could happen. The hair extensions are far too long and heavy for your hair. So if your hair is around eight inches long and the hair extensions that you're going to install are around 26 inches long, then each individual strand or the west of hair extensions becomes far too long for your hair. Even if you only put the hair extensions in for around six to eight weeks, so you want to make sure that when you're putting in hair extensions, they don't they're not excessive and the length and the amount of hair extensions that you're putting in aren't too excessive. And going to put too much strain on your hair. The second reason why hair extensions could possibly pull out your hair could be the way that they are installed. If hair extensions are installed incorrectly and they are not with very clean straight sections, then your hair can be under a lot of pressure and it can be poured into that tiny little micro, bead or wrapped into that tiny little bit of Brazilian, not string for far Too long, so, even if that was left in for six weeks, can you imagine if your hair, within a tight hair ban for up to six weeks as soon as you release about heaven, your scalp is going to become inflamed or hair will start thinning and you'll Get a lot of breakage in your hair, so the hair extensions need to be placed in a very safe, yet secure position, and this shouldn't be too tight on the clients, hair or on your own natural hair. The next question is: are they protective style and will they help my hair to grow so hair extensions are not categorized or classed as a protective style. I wouldn't necessarily ask them as a protective style, because your hair is actually out and free. I would class a protective style of something that your hair is braided away or tucked away. Something like a wig or having your hair in braids is more seen as a protective style, because it is not going to be affected by the environment. There'S going to be no heat or no product put directly on your hair, so with hair extensions, because your hair is kind of kept out and it's constantly kept out for you to add heat to air for it to have any kind of like harsh water or Products on it, I wouldn't pass it as a protective stone when it comes to growing your hair. Hair extensions can definitely grow your hair if they are installed correctly and if they are maintained. Well, my hair grows very, very well with hair extensions and when I put braids in my hair breaks quite a lot, so it really depends on your own hair type. Can you use synthetic hair, and here in house of hair, we don't actually accept any synthetic if a client is coming and they are bringing their own either I tip strands or they're bringing their own worth bundles and that hair happens to be synthetic or fiber hand. We do not install that hair extensions in your hair, so we will actually, if you are providing your own hair, we are at point of consultation. What is the hair? Is it fiber hair? Is it synthetic or is it human hair and the reason being is because fiber, hair and synthetic hair tend to tangle a lot faster so because their heads going to be permanently or semi-permanently in your hair for between six to ten weeks, you're going to be sleeping On that hair you're, going to wash your hair, all of these different things can cause a lot of tangling and, as a result of it, being tangled you're going to brush your hair too often and pretension on your scalp. So the answer, if you are coming to a house of hair salon, is no, we do not install synthetic fiber hair. So the next question I guess, is very similar to will it pull your hair? But the next question I get asked all the time is: will the hair extensions damage my hair and I guess the answer is exactly the same. If the hair extensions are not maintained very well, which means that they are not brushed, they are not separated, they are not removed and reinstalled at the recommended dates or the recommended times that your stylist advise then, yes, hair extensions can actually damage your hair. Also, if the hair extensions themselves are very dry, they can cause a lot of friction on your hair if you use over satin dolls pillowcases, and that is because cotton can be very, very dry and rough on your actual hair hair extensions are the same. So if they are left in your hair for between six to ten weeks and the hair extensions themselves are very dry, then they can cause friction and rubbing against your natural hair and can actually cause damage. So you want to make sure the hair extensions that you put in if you're, using something like kinky straight hair, then you want to make sure they've got some moisture in them or that they are pulled away at nighttime and they are not left to kind of Rub and cause an operation on your hair prepare extensions. Yes, if not taken care of properly or not the correct style or texture or quality hair extensions. Yes, they can cause damage to your hair. A lot of clients will ask us: can I color up my natural hair with hair extensions in can color your hair with hair extensions in, but the arts that you only do the parameter and your leave out and actually try to avoid where your hair extensions are Placed the next question that I'm always asked is: will the hair extensions of hers if hair extensions are installed correctly, they will not hurt your head as soon as the hair extensions are put in. You should be able to spray your hair up in a hair back, but that being said, if you are not a person who regularly has hair extensions, then your scalp will not be used to being poured in that direction and you might be a little bit of Tenderness on your scalp, for maybe one or two nights. If you are feeling uncomfortable and the hair extensions are causing some kind of itching or swelling or soreness to your scalp, then we would advise that you remove the hair extensions immediately, because you should not have that feeling, after maybe one or two nights. So another question that is asked is: why do I need to have a consultation, so in-house of hair? We actually insist on all of our clients having a consultation. This can be done over the phone or and we've done face-to-face coming into the salon. The point of the consultation is for us to check your hair to check that we have the correct hair and stock for your appointment, but to also make sure that it is safe for you to have hair extensions in your hair. Our hair extensions, high maintenance and, I would say kind of yes and no. If you are familiar with hair extensions and we've worn them a few times, then you will realize that they are not high maintenance at all. And after a while the hair extension starts to feel like the UH natural hair. You can wash you can blow-dry, you can style it as if it was your own hair. When you are first having her extensions installed, they can for sure feel like they are high maintenance. It can be very intimidating when you do your first wash. It can be very intimidating and when you come to brushing the hair, extensions and spider-man, but I promise you hair extensions after a while feel like they are your natural hair and they should never be high maintenance. The next question that I am asked is: how do you maintain the hair extensions, so it's very, very simple: we give everyone a haircare guide and the haircare line is very detailed on how you should be brushing your hair, how you should be tying your hair up At night, how you should be washing it, what type of shampoos and conditioners should be used, and also that you should be using the sheet protectors and things on your hair that the hair extensions don't dry out. You want to make sure that you wash your hair back in a natural direction that you brush your hair every single day using heat protectors on your hair when it comes to using the heat styling product. And you want to make sure that you return for your maintenance, but hair extensions are very simple and easy to maintain the next question that I'm asked, I guess, is kind of relevant to each individual hair extension method, but we are always out how long all the Hair extensions last in your hair, so for some clients, hair extensions will last about six weeks and then you will start to see that the hair extensions are slightly slipping out and that they are due to be taken out and reinstalled. For some clients they can go up to ten and twelve weeks, and the hair extensions will be firm and in place. They will have no shedding and the hair extensions will be perfectly fine. It really depends on you and how the hair extensions are installed. So when I say it depends on you, that would be how you maintain the hair extensions, also how quickly your natural hair grows. If your natural hair grows quite quickly and your hair extensions have grown down quite far, that is very difficult for you to brush those hair, extensions and detangle them every day, because, as you're brushing from the roof, you're brushing straight into the West or the bond of The hair, extensions and you're not able to thoroughly brush your hair from root to end, so that can cause a lot of tangling and the hair extensions will need to come out quicker if your hair at sentence don't grow very fast and you're very good at brushing Your hair extensions, then you can obviously go longer another thing that you need to factor into your hair extensions and how long they would last is how strong Nerys. So you can have fusionbond hair extensions and they last possibly the longest brazilian lots of future bombs and lasts up to 12 weeks. However, if your hair is a bit more soft and a little bit more delicate, then you definitely wouldn't want to have the hair extensions in your hair for that long. So you would still want to come your maintenance at around 8 to 10 weeks, so hair extensions. The length of time, the hair extensions laughs, it really depends on the person and the install method that you have had. Can the hair extensions be used over and over again, then the answer to that is 100 %. Yes, if you use a high quality hair extensions, you should be able to use them over and over again, there's two different methods of hair extensions that you can use the hair extensions over again, but you may encounter some kind of changes to the hair extensions. The first one is Brazilian: not if you use Brazilian, not hair extensions over and over again every time they are reinstalled. You cut off a tiny bit of the hair. Extensions on the terror. Centers are gon na get shorter and shorter. Every time you come in for an appointment, the next method of hair extensions is the keratin fusionbond hair extensions. So, every time you remove the fusionbond hair extensions, you are going to use some Italian keratin Gullu to reinforce that bond again, however, because you've reintroduced the Italian Harriton glue and then quickly, reinstalled it into your clients, hair or into your own hair. The bond of the hair extensions is not so strong so over time with keratin the slew in hair extensions they start to shed and the bonds of the hair extensions are not so strong so guys that is my 14 most commonly asked questions with regards to hair Extensions, if you feel like you, have a question with regards to hair extensions that I actually missed during this video. Then please leave a comment below and I will try to get back to you. Thank you guys so much for watching. Adwoa Mk: I think they can be a protective style if you tuck your ends in a bun for example. If anything, having regular access to your scalp and being able to condition you hair is better than being in braids, where you can't moisturised you hair regularly.

Fatoumata Camara: Hi thank you for your videos on this topic. Did you ever do a kinky curly microlink install on type 4 hair? I was wondering if that was possible or too risky for the hair to tangle up and break.

Anna Wolden: So helpful, thank you.

NoraLisa Thomas: Hi! love your videos !! how many wefts do you usually have to use to make microlinks for a full set of head?

Bettie: Love seeing you in front of the camera!!

Shamsia Otieno: Hi, I love your videos, very informative. Can I oil my sculp when I have the extentions especially when I use tape ins?

sonrisafive10: You are so knowledgeable and seem to have very reasonable prices. I wish you were in NYC

theresa woods: In some of your videos I see you use full sized tape ins on some clients with thin fine hair and sometime you cut the tapes in half so they are like a micro tape in. What is your reasoning for why you would cut for some and not for others?

meganroxz18: But how much are they ? I’m so interested

Jessy boo: What is a sign that my wefts are due to be changed?

1MAGA: Lady, I can tell/see you have glued a hair-hat to your hairline....
