What'S up you guys, it's pizza kv and welcome back to my channel. So today i'm going to be showing you guys how i did the itip microlinks, i believe, that's the proper term for it. So if you're interested please stay tuned, all right guys. So, first of all shout out to all the class of 22 graduates. Yes, i finally did it. I got my bachelor's in industrial organizational psychology. I am so excited to finally finish my undergrad and now i'm already off to my masters, anyways. So what i did with this hairstyle is: we wanted to do a versatile side part. So i section off her perimeter and i started with the back, so i section off the perimeter and then i did the back portion of her head similar to. If you were doing braids, i do the back and then i come towards the front. So you guys are gon na see what i mean with this first row. I parted with my finger to put the links onto her hair because i just felt with a comb. It would just like be too tedious, and you know i didn't feel like you needed to be as clean cut with the individual parts, so i just sliced it with my finger. I used the latching tool with the links already on the latch tool, pulled the hair through the loop and then slid the link up. So the this company is great. They already give you every tool that you need to achieve this style and i'm going to leave all the information in the description below so first, i put all the links on her hair and then i come back and add the eye tips into the link. What did i learn? First of all, i silk pressed her hair prior to doing the style. I don't recommend that for hair, her hair, because it was very fine and silky and the links just kept sliding down before i could even get the eye tip on you're. Going to see later on, i end up changing the method. I just do a link and then i tip at this same time to avoid this and that's how i finish the style um when i first tried this style. I did it on myself and i did my hair blow dry now. My hair is way thicker, and so, when i did it blow dried, it was too hard to fit the eye tip the link and my hair all in together. So i had to still press my hair, but for someone who's fine, i would suggest you blow dry, their hair do the links and then once you're done with the style, come back and flat iron anyways lesson learned. So, as the links were sliding down, i tried to slip them back up, but all of the hair would just get tangled. The link has to be set at the root and that's why i ended up just putting on the link then putting the eye tip on and then going on to the next part next section um, so yeah, i'm using the clamp which they provide for you. I hear not to clamp the link down too tight because i can cut the hair and i think we did have some of that in the takedown process, so make sure it's not too loose. But it's not too tight and don't put the eye tip above the link. Now, when you're doing the style, it's going to make so much more sense, but if the eye tip is above the link once you slide it in between the hole when you lift it up in a ponytail, that eye tip is going to press against the scalp. So you want the eye tip and the link to be at the same level before you clamp it down, and that's going to give you the versatility. Also, when you're putting the link on the hair should be placed in a downward position. If you're doing the link um, if you're placing the link on and then clamping down the eye tip while the hair is in, like a 90 degree angle, let's just say it's gon na stick up and it's not gon na lay flat. So the eye tip isn't supposed to be directly at your scalp, where you can't even see any hair. If you can't see any hair, you probably did the style wrong in the house. This style is probably sticking out. You are supposed to see the root of the hair. That'S the only way to drop it down a little bit so that the hair lays flat so boom. You guys see. I didn't want the video to be long and repetitive so we're already halfway through and i filled in her entire head with the links um, except for the hair that i left out. So now we're moving into the side. So i did the side separately. Then the back i didn't do use all the way around. I did the back first filled that out and then now i'm coming to the side, portions of her hair, and now you can see that i use the um a different technique. I just put the latch put the hair through the latch, put the eye tip on put the eye tip in okay, i'm getting confused, i put the i'm just gon na. Do it on the next one all right pulled a piece of hair. I got the latch put the hair through the latch slid up the the link pushed it up to the root, but still at a downward position, put the eye tip through the hole and then clamp down, and that's literally how you do the entire style. Okay. So i'm gon na stop talking here and let you guys watch the video okay. So initially we were going to go in and curl the hair. We thought that was going to be so cute, but then we would have to cut up all the hair and layer. It and all that so we decided to bump the curls and go straight and straight was it. It was everything it was so cute, so i'm gon na show you guys what this style can do. So you
