Microlinks On Short Hair ! Part 1 -Thetanzytechnique

Hey guys, this is tanzania aka tanzi, the glow up guru and welcome to my channel um in this video. I'M going to show you how to do microlinks. I have been receiving requests on how to do the front part of the microlink bead tansy technique, which is named after me, because i'm the one that created this technique so yeah um. I'D appreciate it so yeah, let's get into this video video all right guys, so i bought eight packs of hair off of amazon says made in china. Eight packs of passion, twist hair extensions, 18 inch color one beat y'all, can see that this is how the hair comes. It'S like this. I want to be long. I want to be like rapunzel feel me and it's, and once you unfold it, it's like this long. It'S like very long, so i already unfolded some hair. I'M gon na show you guys what it looks like outside the package. It'S very soft, but guys it doesn't stay in this curl pattern like once you separate it it's separated. This is what it looks like. It has a little thingamajigger on it, a little little rubber band, let's go and kind of keep this what the hair looks like, but it loses its luster once you put it in your hair, so just to warn you if you want to stay shiny like this, I just want to tell you it ain't gon na stay shiny like this, unless you crochet it into some crochet braids in your hair, but um, yeah soft and then once i cut it open it'll be like this piece. Let me show you so this is what it looks like when you separate it out of the pack, it's very natural, and this is how it was when it was looped, but when you pull it apart, oh yeah yeah, so i might be eating guys with this. Like my fellow youtuber, her name mary mary kay so but she's really, cool y'all should check her out, but uh yeah. She always says: hair is ignorant when it's long or big and puffy and fluffy. So now you know what hair i'm going to use um. So definitely you will need hair and this hair is synthetic. It cost me twenty three dollars off of amazon, so please check out my links. So my hair is relaxed tastes like something something of that nature. So it looks like an afro, but it's really straight curly. Something more straight than anything: hey guys, my hair is growing long er longer it's not long. Yet, let's get longer okay anyway. So what you'll need guys is some afro pick if you have short something like my hair or a comb or something, but these are micro, link, beads and guys. Also, i do have a video on when i had my hair natural and it was burgundy and there's a video that i'll link that in the um, the description box but yeah these are the links they have silicone linings, so that white part, that's silicone. Black part is the um aluminum bead, and the silicone is to help protect your hair from the friction of the aluminum bead. So i'm going to take one of those and guys, like i said my links will be in my amazon. Affiliate links will be in the description box. So now you will need a needle with thread if your hair is as long as mine you'll need a needle, preferably a curved needle, never try to a straight needle. So i don't know and then you'll need a little bit of thread, excuse the blue hair on it. I don't know where it came from, but you need this put. A little thread put a little knot on the thread thread it through the needle put a little knot. Then what you're gon na do take a bead, and thank god thanks guys for commenting on my video. So far, i got like a thousand something likes, not likes. Vid views yeah, and i appreciate that guys. What you do is. Let me show you back in my head. I hope you can get a good look at it. I can't see, but just take your bead hold your bead and one hand onto the needle. So i just put it on the needle hold the needle and the um bead, like this, between your fingers, grab a little bit of hair and guys i'm going to leave the perimeter of my hair a little bit alone, just a little bit. So i can make it look more natural, so you pull this hair, your hair into the um, pull the needle and thread around it slide me. I hope y'all can see this and just pull it through. Then you're gon na need these and i got these from dollar tree really cool some pliers just clamp it down guys that was a little low, but you got ta fix it and if you want to tighten it or something go in loosen it a little bit Pushing up so there you go now, that's tighter! That'S better, because the further away from the scalp it is the um, the more it won't. It'Ll get looser, but if you it may um actually fall out, so i would suggest pushing it up close to the scalp, but not on the scalp, because if you push it too close, it's gon na hurt like hell to get um the hair extensions through it. So be careful with that guys, so that's one bead i'll show you again guys it's gon na be a long video. I'M telling you that now, you probably already know one more time put the bead on there pull this in what a knot is to the end of the needle pull it up, wrap the ring, clamp it with the pliers and guys if you're tenderheaded. This shouldn't hurt too bad one scale of one to ten it'd be a three a pain, maybe also guys. So what i'm going to do is show you how i do the chansey technique on both of these little pieces here and then i'm gon na come back with my head almost completely done and then i'm gon na show you how to do the front, because that's What people have been asking me um to show how to do so, because the front is a little difficult to do? It'S not difficult, but it's like. If you don't know what you're doing or you don't know exactly what i'm doing then yeah. This would be a little difficult, but um yeah, let's start so what you do is you grab your hair? I don't know how long i want this to be and be careful guys. You don't want to use a lot of hair too much or too little i'ma show you guys how to make it less fluffy or frizzy at the end, so yeah now you need a mini latch hook. Unless your hair is already never mind, you just gon na need one okay, regardless of how long your hair is so right here, let's see, i hope, y'all can see this. Take your latch hook mini latch up open it on the bead. I hope you all can see this push it it down, pull the bead and push it down and take your hair close the bead pull it through pull there, you have it, and this is a good look.
