My Sisterlock Journey! Low Density/Fine Hair

This video contains pictures from my consult 05/30/20 & DAY 1 of my Sisterlock Establishment. I wanted to share my journey, because Sisterlocks are beatiful & deserve to be shared. But not only that, there aren't many videos of women with Sisterlocks that have really fine hair, low density hair! Enjoy ,

Today'S the day, I'm going on my way now to get my sister locks. I just braid it you see. My toes blocks are still here. All of them are still here, so I guess she could choose the mint that she wanted to use. One of them is was coming down, I'm trying to get to it. You can see it by kid. You can see what there we go. This one was probably coming down the most, but the other three are still here. So I'm really excited I'm on my way. Now I'm gon na stop and get some snacks off-limits at 12. It'S about 10:45. I am. I switch mine internal switch about my phone. My chargers, she's got movies, really excited, but I just wanted to stop in and show you guys, because whenever I was watching me YouTube videos, no one a lot of times. They don't show you the density. I have a very, very fine strand of hair strain of hair. It'S very, very fine. It'S very, very soft. I did do the protein treatments that she suggested. I also was taken biotin. Unfortunately, for my hair texture, one of my grandmother's is almost full Indian and the hair is very soft and my other grandmother, her hair is just very soft. Just as a realist, I really to have a fighting chance with the softness of my hair, but this is where we're at I'm about eight and a half inches some parts of my hair's eight inches some parts of nine. My hair is thickest in the crown part, but I wanted to show the density, because I wanted you to see my progress from a real standpoint. I have some fears I feel nervous, but most of all I'm excited. This will also eliminate one more form of revenue that I can keep in the black community by no longer purchasing products. This is not a hateful video, but I just was looking for ways also in addition to not having to do my hair and not having to worry about it, were they being thin and tearing it constantly. I didn't have to worry about spending money outside of the community. Also. I have a very soft recently, like probably right before my consultation. I the notice that, right here in the crown of my head, the hair is very short here, don't mind my nails. I'Ve been doing my own nails, another way to keep money in the black community um, but my hair is broken here, so I don't know what she's going to do. I don't know what caused this, and so I, if she's, not able to do anything because we did talk about having the having her add like an extension lot, and she was saying that the hair may be too fragile. So I mean ask her to do like small insta locks, but if she doesn't then no worries, I will braid that just because it's it right in the middle of my hair, but I'm on my way now I'm going to stop and give me some snacks from The Dollar Tree, but I did want to share the density so that you can see because a lot of times women with the fine hair on the videos, they would show you everything. But you didn't get to see at the beginning just to see how fine the hair actually is, and I wanted to share that with you guys. So I will come back with a video today this evening and share the progress. Don'T wear react? Alright. Okay, stop! I'M back, and this is what we have she did almost all of it. I got there at 12 o'clock, we worked till 9:00 between 12 and 9. We took a 45-minute lunch. I had two breaks because I smoked the three because I use a bathroom and this is where we are so we only have this section this section in this section, and then we have this section, this section and this section. So she did all this and went straight that back down the middle, so we only have six sessions left sections left. It didn't hurt very tender head it, especially when a shampoo, my hair, I know some of you may be thinking like wow. Why are your parts so big and basically my parts are the same size as everyone else's. They could not be smaller because of the density of my hair, it's very low and it's very fine. But I have watched plenty of videos and I have faith that they will swell up I've seen several people go through and within 6 to 12 months. You can't even tell the difference between someone who actually had low density and someone who did not. So I am trusting the process and I wanted to share this, as you can see like really how fine my hair is. It'S very fine, a gray house pulled up on the scene and there's a couple of here, so I'm kind of aging that way, but overall, I'm very pleased with it social um shout out to Nicole Michelle beauty. She is absolutely wonderful and her environment is very welcoming and she is very sweet and her energy is very well. So I feel very lucky to have found someone who, from the beginning, to where we currently, who has worked with me house, understood all of the issues that I have she's very good energy. And I just look forward to her completing my LOC journey and being my like Titian until you know either she quits or our queer. Or would you see what happens so? I have I go back tomorrow, three o'clock and she did say that she would have me out before dawn. So I'm just I'm so excited that I finally got started on my sister locks and I'm just very happy about the journey. I don't want to really show too much because it's trademark, but anyone who's known, as you know what the grid looks like so I'll show you guys a little bit tomorrow when I come in, but thanks for watching, please don't forget to subscribe or what is it Comment like and subscribe, alright good night

Natasha Akinfolarin: Thank you for this video. My hair is the low density, soft and fine. Finally, I have found a video where I can see how my hair will look when I get it done in 3weeks. Enjoy your journey.

LaZy & Loc'D: You go girl! So many actually have low density fine hair and get nervous about their establishment, your faith in how your hair will grow and thicken up the perfect attitude! I’m definetly tunning in to this Journey...lets gooooo!

Donna Cunningham: You are definitely an inspiration for me. I have the same issue with my hair type. My microloc install is scheduled for 7/6 & 7/7, 2021 and I'll finally say farewell to my crochet locs. Because of my fine and low density hair, microlocs was recommended; however, they will the have appearance of Sisterlock since my test loc was really small. I'm already searching for a wig though since I know the scalpiness is going to be insane. My hope is that it'll fill in a bit over a few month period and I'll be able to ditch the wig. Your hair is gorgeous!!! Continued success in your journey.

Terisa Harris: I’m so glad I found someone with the same texture hair like mines! It gives ne hope! I just got my sister locks almost 2 weeks ago and I was so nervous! When she completed them, I didn’t like them at all because they were spacey and my hair is long and thin. Trust and believe I had my wig on standby. This is going on week 2 and I’m noticing a little difference in the parts already. They don’t look as spacey. My hair grows fast! I wonder will my hair be full because it’s long and thin right now. I have no choice but to trust the process especially all the money I paid.I’m excited to see where the sister lock journey will take me.

Crystals Sisterlocks: Hey! I’m right there with you. Fine low density hair. Can’t wait to see your journey

Those that said they had low density and thin hair kind of made it look too embarrassing for us with really fine/thin hair to come forth. I did not document my entire journey through video but I do have pictures and I did one youtube video. I am now 13 months into my journey and I still feel this was the BEST hair decision for me!! Thanks for your transparency and I look forward to following your journey

JOSHA INC: We'll excuse the nails...but them lashes though...

maxx maxx: Yo eyelash on yo cheek oh naw I couldn't sit still that long

Dee Pee: Why cling to the hair you don’t have. Just shave it off and start anew!

rashida7777: I love your personality. But I just don't think that hairstyle was good on you. That is putting tooooo much stress on your low-density hair. It is like Moses parting the red sea. Traction alopecia is real. We can't wear the "snatched" hairstyles. It looks too "scalpy" and have to rock other styles that cover the appearance of being bald. I do hope they are being gentle with your hair as they take it down! Low-Density hair is so very fragile. Try keeping them in bigger single twists. This helped tremendously with my low-density hair. Keep hair covered. The heat will work as a greenhouse and you may see hair not only growing longer but thicker. At your age...not being funny, but try a DHT blocker...Like Saw Palmetto. It will keep your hair from falling out due to hormonal changes. I take mine at night. Also, keeps you from running to the bathroom so much during your sleep. Not only has my hair gotten thicker...but it has grown 2 inches for 8 to 10 inches all around in 2 months and stretches easily. You have beautiful features...you can rock a nice headwrap any day of the week.
