Guys welcome back to my channel now, as you can see, we are currently in my bathroom now. That'S because today I'm going to be um sharing with you, one of the highly requested videos actually um, and that is how I take care of my hair extensions. I don't know if you know um, but I have been wearing taping extensions for about three years now going to be three years and the reason why I first started to wear. Hair extensions was because my hair was um overly bleached in another Salon, not with the current Salon that I'm working with um and that led to a lot of breakage, particularly in this section, the crown section of my head so um. I remember when it first happened. I only had about two inches of hair left and it was a very horrible time for me because um I I lost a lot of hair and hair is very important in my industry and also to myself. I had to kind of like cut my hair shorter and also I was wearing a wig for about a year before my own hair was strong enough to hold any hair extensions, okay, so um. I was researching where to get her extensions when I tried them out at number: 76 uh, Japanese, hair salon at Orchard Gateway a shopping mall in Singapore, and I really like it, and even though my hair has now fully grown back um and it's healthy now. I am still not giving up on extensions because I really really like how they give me um that look where I look very nourish and well taken care of and yeah it just elevate. My hair's um appearance, and I really really am obsessed with my hair. I used to get about 300 strands when my hair just broke, but now I only need about 60 to 70., so I'm very, very thankful that my hair has all grown back, I'm never going to let it go through what it went through, but yeah since I've Been wearing hair extensions for three years. Obviously I have since then developed a hair care routine for it how to take care of it um how to make sure that it lasts until the next time I step into a hair salon and also um. You can see that I do bleach my hair, I color my hair as well so yeah. These extensions are real human hair extensions for Japan. They are ordered in by number 76, my hair stylist and the difference between them and the other hair extensions that I've worn in the past would be that the thickness is uniform throughout the entire strand. Usually, when you get get hacks that just to realize that it is thinner at the bottom, it can be very thick at the roots area, but it's very thin in the bottom. So it gives you a very it looks like you didn't, have enough volume as compared to your crown area. As you can see, the ends of my hair are super voluminous luscious, so the quality is definitely up there. Yes, it is very expensive. It costs about 19 per strand um, but I really think that the quality makes up for it. It'S definitely worth every single dollar that I pay for and also because they are real human hair. You can color it. You can bleach it, you can heat, treat it, meaning you can curl it. You can straighten it um. The tastes are like, like usual taping, so I'm gon na show you sorry. My head doesn't look the best right now because it is hair wash day so yeah. These are how the tapes looks like I had them all over my um head and I'm sure you guys have seen me tied up my hair many many times, and you can see that. Actually, you can tie your hair up and the text won't really shown, and even though I have such a light, colored um extensions, the tapes are actually the same color as the hair color itself. So I like that, if, when I flip my hair, you can't really see obvious tapes, okay, so it's very very nicely in stock professionally, and so I'm very happy with how it looks like I am going to be washing my hair today. Typically, if I don't work out currently, I'm actually sick um, but usually I work out every single day, so I will wash my hair every single day. If not, you will be once every two days max because I live in Singapore. It is very humid um. I don't really turn on the AC at home, so I do perspire here and there. So I don't really like to leave my hair unwashed more than two days uh and also because my hair is always around my face. I really don't like the ideal dirty head. Touching my face because it could lead to cook pores and breakouts for me uh yeah, so this is a very long introduction. I'M just gon na jump into my hair wash routine if you're a kid um, please keep on watching, and I really really hope that you find this video helpful. Alright, first up is wetting the hair Carolina, hair extensions can take a while to be wet, so you want to give it a lot of time so that you can lather the shampoo well mix. This purple shampoo I've shared about this Laura purple shampoo on my Ig stories multiple times it is by far one of the most concentrated, powerful ones that I've came across. I also really like olaplex one but um wise. This is definitely the more economical option. Just FYI. I'M going in with my fingers and going in between the tapes to really massage the scalp to get to the skull, because we have tapes near the scalp and we really want to get into the debris there, because if they build up too much, it's gon na Eat your scalp, you don't want that. Um next is going in with like a repairing hydrating, shampoo kind of Vibes. You know this is the one from virtual. I really like it so far. I'M pretty easy when it comes to the second shampoo, anything along the lines of hydrating repairing, and I like to focus that on the ends of my hair, which are my extensions typically, because the longer you use the extensions, the drier it will become, especially if you Use heat on it every day like I do now. Lastly, is going in with a good conditioner this one I highly recommend you know why? Because not only does it really detangles your hair, it gives it a long lasting scent, a scent that I really like somehow like a hair perfume kind of scent. Okay, um, it's very important to detangle your hair um in this step, because uh long hair tends to tangle easily okay. So I use my fingers to really kind of comb through and obviously every time I control my hair. I make sure to be really really gentle, because we have tapes. Okay, always remember that. Finally, we rinse off, if you can go in with really cold water, to kind of give it that shine and seal out the cuticles all right, the hair drying routine. I also have a hair drying routine. Yes, you heard it right, so I will use my Dyson supersonic first to dry to about 80. I would say you can see that my hair is still about 20 Wet, I'm just showing you how my hair looks like at this point all right. This is the shadow sublimate Wonder shoe think of this as like a heat protectant, so I like to Spritz it over my hair before I start to hair up my hair. The reason why I added my hair is because it is the only way I can kind of dry my hair and extensions very, very thoroughly and style it at the same time, because if I were to just hair dry it and then style it that would take Like double the amount of time, so airwrap is a lifesaver okay. So I like to kind of focus on my crown section first and then I work my way: um downwards, okay, so typically this takes about 10 minutes per side. That'S because I have quite thick hair. Uh, we are almost done. I promise okay, I like to kind of curl it outwards away from my face, and this is the finished product this is the before, and this is the after all right guys. So this marks the end of my hair care routine. This is how I take care of my taping extensions and also bleach hair um and also maintaining um, the ashiness of the blonde, and also just the General Health of my hair and my extensions. So I've been taking care of my hair this way. For the past three years, I know it's quite a little bit of steps, but um trust me. If you want to get a hair extensions, you kind of have to put in a little bit of effort into the hair care routine, because after all um, they are not your own hair. They need extra care, they need to be styled. They need to be blow dried so that they look good for a long time and of course, every set can be used up to two to three months. I usually switch them to a new set every two months, but I will get them reinstalled, meaning I would take it out from my scalp, because now there is new hair growth, so the tape is further away from the scalp, so we will take it out and We'Ll replace the tapes and then put it closer to the skull again and then the following month. We will change to a complete new set, okay, so yeah. I really hope that you find this video helpful um and if you have any questions regarding taping extensions in Singapore, um bleacher having blonde hair, let me know in the comments down below and I'll be happy to answer them for you. If you like, this video, don't forget to like it share it and also subscribe, it's gon na mean a lot to me. Thank you so much for um staying to the end of the video, I hope to see you in my next one bye,
