Hi everyone, its Ashlee and today I wanted to show you guys who cares that I'm trying to film who cares everyone it's actually in today. I want to talk to you guys about my unit here. As you guys know, I only wear unis hair, so the specifications for this particular hair will be on the screen and in the description box down below. I dyed this her myself, but I made the wig myself as well, so this is a closer way if you want to see how I make my closure wigs it'll be in the cards up above also, if you want to see how I applied my wigs without Any glue without any adhesive without any gel, also, if you want to see how I apply my weights without any glue, any gel or any adhesive that'll be in the cards up above as well. I never know what side it's on, but you'll see it it'll pop out. Let me pull the other side to the front, so you can see what it looks like all like the dimension and stuff without further ado: let's cut the chatter, let's cut the chatter and let's get started. The first step is to always start by mixing the bleach. So we're going to put two scoops of this bw2 bleach in each of these three mixing bowls. I used different developers, so I used a 2030 and a 40 volume developer which you'll see right now. I use that to add more dimension to the hair. I don't want to confuse you so I'll go ahead and let you know that I first started put in three capfuls of developer, but for the 30 and the 20 I had to add a little bit more bleach to the mixture. The reason I'm making three different mixtures is because that is what's going to give my hair dimension. So once we get to the actual bleaching process, you're gon na see that I'm just dipping my brush into whichever bowl, I feel like it sometimes to three bowls. At a time - and I'm just brushing this on to the hair - so don't don't get confused, don't get tripped up. I know this is the beginning and you see three bowls and it can be intimidating, but just know that I'm doing different levels of developer, because that's going to give my hair just more dimension in different color all around it's gon na lift it to a different Color all around so now that I've stirred my mixtures up, I'm gon na section off the hair, I'm gon na list some of the videos that I watched down below fun facts. While I was doing this, I was actually watching guy Tang in particular. Do a couple of different balayage ombre clients on YouTube, so I was in good company I'll say that, but it doesn't really look like his work because he is a professional like licensed professional. This is just my DIY version. I was just kind of like going with the flow, so I'm gon na put in the whole clip for the first couple of sections, so you can see exactly what I'm doing. Essentially I just dip my brush in honestly speaking. You guys, I don't even know what bowl I was dipping my brush in I totally mixed them up, so I don't know which was the 20 to 30 or the 40, but it didn't matter to me. I was just dipping my brush in whatever bowl and I'm using the brush, tilting it kind of sideways and I'm painting the bleach mixture onto my hair. That'S a really important thing to remember, paint it on and really make sure it's coated on the top. The surface level that you can see that I'm working on right now and then lifts it up and coat the bottom as well. The bottom isn't really all that important, because people aren't really going to see the bottom of your hair. If it's a wig like this one is, but you want to get it on the bottom. So when you do wash it out, the color is somewhat all around, but essentially at the very top. What guys hang was saying and what a lot of people were saying in their balayage ombre videos is that you want to make kind of like a W or a v-shape at the very top, and I'm just wrapping it in foil, so that it'll conduct some heat. While I'm working on the other sections, so that was the first section - essentially I just painted it on you can start from the very bottom. You can start from the very top I like to disperse more products on the bottom in the top and then just really paint it on in the middle and then use my gloves to really just work the product and I'm getting a lot of the products. On my gloves so that I can work my gloves into the hair run my gloves on in the hair, so it coats the bottom. So I don't have to use a bunch of product I'll go ahead and let you guys know right now for this first go-around. I had to bleach it twice before this first go-round I was able to bleach my entire head of hair or my entire wig, with those three bowls of bleach and developer. So now all I'm doing is just speeding this up. I am showing you guys this Bank section, though, because the front of the hair, it really frames the face, so I wanted to show you, I guess just like my rhyme and reason what I did for this section. I brought it up really high and I didn't really do that intentionally, but I just kind of went with it. So that's why you saw in the intro. If you go back, you'll see that the color or the the bleach mixture essentially comes up to my bang area. That'S because I brought it up really high. If you don't want that color or that bleach to be framing your face, then start a lot lower. So now I just showed you essentially how I did the entire on your end right hand side. So now, I'm moving over to the left hand side, I'm gon na. Let you guys just watch me: do this left hand side and I've sped it up for your viewing pleasure and I'm gon na come back and talk you through the rest of the steps. Since this is the last section I figured I'd, come back and join you guys, so hello, I'm back again, so I'm just wrapping this last piece up with foil and I ended up letting the hair sit for about an hour and 45 minutes. I just wanted to turn it around, so you guys can see he's actually just what it looks like from the side and the back. It looks like that on both sides. So now we're headed to the sink while we're at the sink. Welcome to my sink we're gon na take off all the foil strips or the foil pieces, and I did use the blonde shampoo and conditioner, but not this go-round after I take off the blonde strips all I mean after I take off the foil ship. Sorry all! I'M gon na do is rinse the hair out just like rinse the bleach and developer mixture out. I wanted to leave it on for longer than an hour and 45 minutes, but when I open the foil it just looked like the mixture was dry, so it didn't. Look like it was lifting anymore, so I just went ahead and rinsed it out. So now I'm mixing these two Revlon color, silk box dyes together the one on the left is a really light blonde and the one on the right. The one on the left is platinum, the one on the right is just natural blonde. So now what I'm gon na do is take now. This is when it matters okay, this is when the mixture matters I'm taking the platinum blonde and I'm putting that on the very ends of the hair and then I'm taking the natural blonde and I'm putting that more so at the top in in the middle and Just kind of like fading it painting it on and fading it out, so that the the platinum blonde marries into the natural blonde. Now I'm gon na go ahead and spoil it for you guys in this next clip you're gon na see what it looks like blow. Dried, I wasn't satisfied, so I had to bleach it again. I did look it up on Google and you can bleach die after well, you can bleach hair after you put box dye on it. So that's exactly what I did so I went in. Did the whole section thing again, I figured you guys got the gist the first time around. So I didn't show you again. So I'm just showing you what it looked like when I was done bleaching it for the second time now we're back at the sink. So what I'm doing is I use the blonde. Shampoo blonde is the brand, but it's just a purple shampoo. So after I rinsed out the shampoo, I immediately went in with a conditioner. I didn't let it sit on there for too too long didn't really find it all that necessary plus. I didn't want the hair to turn purple so after that I blow dried it and installed it and we're all done. Okay, guys toriel, if you liked it give me a big huge thumbs up, leave me a comment down below and let me know if you're willing to try this color out or if you dyed your hair yourself. What colors did you try? Did you do like balayage and ombre? Did you do ash blonde? Let me know what hair colors you've tried in the comment section down below, because it'll give me some ideas for what to try next, because I'm kind of like grasping for straws here, I'm not really sure what I want to do. Nyx, like my hair, always remember. If you have any questions, you can leave them in the comment section down below. Oh one, last thing: if you are interested in this makeup, look I have a tutorial for it over on my Instagram so head over to my Instagram. Follow me at miss Ashley de Bona, and you can see this institute oriole for this money. Greening makeup. Look, I just wanted to do something with a little bit of color or something a little different and so yeah it's over on my IG, but that's it so until next time take eautiful. I love you.

Amari Inasad: I personally think it’s so dope that you’ve taken the time to learn how to do your own hair. Custom units are cool and everything, but it’s much more efficient to be able to make your own unit to your own liking — especially now that stylists charge an arm, leg, kidney, and liver for their services.
