Hey beauties today, i'm going to be going in and touching up my roots. They are looking so grown out and i'm excited to get started. So let's just go ahead and get started. If you are new to my channel, my name is deandra. I post lots of fashion beauty and lifestyle content, all of which is always affordable. We are bougie but on a budget around here. So, if that's something you think you would enjoy, go ahead and hit the subscribe button down below and let's get into this leech to do this, i'm actually going to go in with this highlighting comb. I get this on amazon, it's like seven bucks, but it basically does all your weaving for you using those you have a thicker weave as well. I'M not even sure what this is for, but i do like to use the smaller side on a lot of root. Touch videos: i noticed that they only went halfway down their head, but i'm actually gon na go through my whole hair, because my hair is a lot darker than the videos i was watching and i am seeing a lot of darkness right in here and i definitely Want to lighten that back up, so that is the game plan today i will be using this blonde me bleach. I got this as a set on amazon, it's worth the extra money and it did come with a 30 volume developer, which i will be using. I actually have already mixed one scoop of the bleach and one and a half of the developer have that right in here. I wish i had a table in front of me, but i'm like working on the bathtub behind me uh. Where are my clips? Okay, what i'm gon na do is section my hair from bottom to top so like right here at the nape of my neck, i'm gon na section that off it's about a one inch wide section and then i'm going to part my sections in half go ahead And put this little cape on just taking this comb, placing my hair on top and then running my hand through that, a few times it's going to separate your hair, take the top and the bottom push the bottom back. Do this side as well top and bottom push the bottom back taking another clip, i'm going to clip back the hair that i am not highlighting so that i don't mix it in with the hair that i am highlighting. I need a hair tie. This clip is not working. I think i'm just going to do my roots and blend them down like this. Much we'll see how it turns out. So now i'm just going to pick up some bleach on my hands and start blending. You want to make sure that you blend at the root, so you don't have any harsh lines and using your hands definitely helps smooth out any harsh lines. Okay, so just applying foil. I am not good at foil. It'S like my least favorite part to do honestly. Again, not a professional, let's keep going, i'm just kind of trying to not blend all the way down, but i do want to just smooth out the bleach so that, hopefully i don't get like too many splotchy parts. I'Ve gotten to this section, where it's a little bit more wide because it comes from here and goes to the middle of the back of my head. So what i'm going to do is actually split it in half, because the smaller sections will be easier to work with so taking this back section, i'm going to separate so now, i'm just going to and this part and then we're gon na do this section. Let'S tie this this section, i did just look at what my hair is looking like, underneath i can already tell that it's going to be splotchy if you see that how it's lightened, it's not blended, all the way down. So what i'm going to do is go back and blend some bleach all the way down. Listen guys! I am not a professional. I was trying to do it like someone who is professional would do it, but i just don't want to take the chance of ruining my hair. So that's why i checked my work before i rinsed out again. This is how i do my own hair at home. I'M not a professional, so let's just start from the bottom and apply some bleach all the way down. I would definitely rather have damaged hair than splotchy hair because at least if it's damaged, i can just cut it off. But if it's splotchy that's a whole other mess of the story, foreign uh-huh, we have reached the top section and i'm going to split it down the middle. Take these bangs here i'm going to do these last and i'm just gon na braid it so that it's not in the way okay. So these are pretty thick sections. What i'm gon na do is split this in half so uh so, and so we have our top section. I'M gon na apply the bleach, but not as high as i was doing it down here. Just because i am doing money pieces - and i want these to stand out more than i want this to stand out, so i'm just going to blend it a little bit lower that way when i go higher here, it's more dramatic if that makes sense. So let me get my gloves on and so i'm going to start right here, just kind of blend up and down smooth all the way out. I do have these gloves on from amazon they're like textured, so they do help me spread out the bleach a little better. I'Ve used these three times now. This is my third time using the same pair of gloves, so definitely worth the investment of like seven dollars. This is the part that i'm the most nervous about. What i did is create my part, my part's not like dead center to my face, but it is kind of off center because i have this like weird cowlick but anyway, so just part your hair, where you normally part it. I got a hair in my eye and when you go to do the sectioning, you want to kind of do it at an angle, i'm again going to highlight the top one and we'll just pull that back. Somehow. Just make sure that your sections are not all crazy looking you want them to kind of be even from the top and the bottom, especially right here, because i've separated it several times and sometimes they're, just like. Let'S just push this part back and apply a highlight here so cross your fingers for my bangs. Let'S do a timer of 40 minutes starting now. This is what my hair looks like after 40 minutes. I do still have it in the back, so i'm gon na shower and rinse off with purple shampoo and purple conditioner. It'S definitely looking a little orange. So i'm going to take this brush and apply some of this on there and just spread it out with a brush. I'M just doing this, mostly because this stuff really does like stain my hand. There is a blue in there. I think i'm just gon na leave for five minutes and rinse out, just because i don't want any blonde parts to like turn green, so yeah we'll set a five minute, timer rinse it out it's quite a bit later. My lighting might look a little different. This is what it's looking like. Now, i'm really not mad at it. It would probably use another 10-15 minutes of the blue up here, which i am gon na do, but i was looking at it and i really want these front pieces just to be a little bit brighter up at the top. I don't mind that this isn't as bright, because i do want the money pieces and the way that i did it. It just didn't come out that way. Now for this i am actually going to use the brush all done with my bangs, i'm probably going to leave for about 20 minutes and then once the front of my hair is wet i'll, go ahead and get the top wet and then reapply that blue toner. So this is the next morning i rolled out of bed and decided that i did not like the tone at all of my hair from my roots to my ends, so i decided to go in with this wella t27 toner. The color is called medium beige blonde. I mixed it with the same 30 volume developer, applied it to all of my hair and let it sit for about 30 minutes ish. So that's what i'm doing here here are my results. I still need to style it. I just did a quick blow out, so you guys could see what it looked like straight and what the blend looks like and stuff. I probably could use some more toner right in here, which i do still have, that blue hair mask and i will uh probably do it again, the next time that i shower, but i'm also kind of thinking that it might be too light. I don't know i'm just not used to it yet, so i haven't decided if i'm going to tone it again or if i'm going to go back in with a light brown color wash just to give me more brunette back to my hair. I will keep you guys up posted on instagram. If i decide to change it, do want to mention this shea moisture, strengthen and restore treatment. Mask you guys this saved my hair. It feels so soft and healthy, like even healthier than before. I started bleaching so definitely recommend this all right, so this is what it looks like after i styled it. Honestly, i'm really liking it now, yeah, so i'll probably go back in with that toner. This is the one that i use. The matrix total results brass off. I will be sure and link everything that i used in this video down in the description box below as well as my hair playlist. I have videos using a highlighting cap, botched highlights and how i fixed them, curling tutorials and all of that so be sure and check that playlist out as well. There'S a subscribe button right here, go ahead and click that if you enjoyed this video, i will also leave two other videos for you to binge watch. I hope you enjoyed. I hope you found this helpful again. I am not a professional. This is just what i do on my own hair at home. If you decide to do this, definitely do your research. Thank you guys. So much for watching and i'll see you all next time, bye, uh,

Anon: Yaaas! I want y’all to know i followed her first two tutorials and I absolutely looove my hair can’t wait to touch it up again in a month. I’m happy I don’t have to pay up every time I want light hair cause this method works!

Ryan Malave: Hi! Your technique was okay for going lighter pretty much all over the ends and keeping a “rootier” look. If you instead want to just refresh your highlights and keep the blonde to brunette ratio, just use the comb to separate the strands, and right before you apply the lightener just use the tail end of your comb to flick out any of the strands that are completely brown! Then just blend the lightener down to wherever the brown meets the blonde on each strand! Voila! Ps. Not that your hair doesn’t look nice but putting that wells color over with a 30 essentially will lighten all your hair. Get a Demi permanent with no more than a 10 vol and you’re set. Happy holidays!

Cindy Kun: I followed your technique last time and I love the outcome. & I’m due for a touch up too so this is perfect timing!

Arlene: I took the plunge and dyed my daughter's hair using your tutorial and BlondeMe. Worked out great. The comb is a savior. I'm next. Gonna go ahead and order the toner for my black hair color that loves to go orange. So excited ‼️ Thanks beautiful

Kerry: This is perfecttttt the only thing stopping me from going blonde was the root touch up because bleaching the landing strip of hair growth every week and a half was hell in my teen years & the thought of doing root touch ups when you have highlights seemed so daunting but you made it look so simple! I’ll come back to this video when I bleach my hair in a month or two thank you for posting it

Michelle Hellewegen: Everytime I watch your hair color video's, I'm one step closer dying my hair

Nicole Silva: Im not a professional, but I've been doing lots of hair for years..and I would recommend to set up all your materials, section the best you can your hair and then prepare the bleaching powder and the developer, because it won't work properly if you let it sit for a long time :) I love your videos

Meri Muradyan: Don’t go dark! This looks sooooo good on you! You look amazing!

leyla zhane: Omg your hair looks SO good!!! This would easily be a $200+ job in the salon! I am going to attempt to do this to my hair bc my roots are so outgrown and hairdressers are closed due to rona. Thank you for sharing your tips girl - you are gorgeous!!❤️

Lory Martins: It looks absolutely amazing, you definitely should keep it like that I love the results ✨✨ I am so happy with my hair, still can’t believe how good it looks I will definitely keep following your technique, it really works and helped me to save a lot of money thanks

Marlives: Don’t change it, it looks amazing!

Reem M: Oh my god you and your hair transformation, amazing! . Thanks to you last year I was able to dye my hair lighter seeing one of your first hair coloring video. Happy holidays! It looks like you did it at a salon

Amy Christophers: I’ve watched this so many times!! You did such a great job I’m gonna attempt mine now haha xx

glamxgab: Okay I’ve watched a few of your videos and the fact that you were able to do this to your own hair has me thinking I can do the same!! I get one step closer every time

Katherine Cumplido: The toner is going to lift your base if you use it with a 30% developer and also that wella toner is known to lift up your base color and bump it up that’s why it may come off warm and you want to use the blue shampoo, just letting you know incase and I’m licensed so i’d figured I’d share that but you it looks great girl!

Mickey Ramos: I have been thinking on doing my hair at home, since you did such a wonderful job!! The final look is amazing.

madstarules: I think you did a lovely job! The only thing I would say, is I would be careful with the developer you use on your toner, using 30 volume will lift your natural hair, which will bring up warm tones so try using a 10 vol or less as it will deposit and not lift x

Giselda HERCKS GABAN: Ficou lindoooo

Sabiha Harris: Thank you so much for this video I have always gone to the salon and paid ridiculous prices for my highlights I have just ordered everything you have used in this video and I’m going to attempt to do it all myself when everything arrives. Very helpful. I hope I’m as good as you!! Can I ask what volume developer you used?

Makeup and Queer Magic: I just subscribed bc I love your realness, energy, and how clear you make each process! You're so inspiring!!!

Rose Can2: In love with the way it turned out!! You make it look so easy though.

Experimenta Orlando by Vanessa Pereira: You have such a natural talent for hair! It gets better everytime!! I also do my hair all the time but I don't have good results always lol love your content. Bought this comb and it's awesome!!!! Thank youuuu girl

Marni Harber: I’m giving this a go today because you make it look soooo easy wish me luck ❤️

Kate: Wow this looks amazing! I want to do this with my hair. You give me so much inspiration!

Minaxi: Your hair looks so good! Great job!!

Monika perez: Your hair looks so beautiful y I love watching your videos! Awesome job!

Noodles Head: You did a great job on your hair.... me, my hair still breaking in this day. Thanks for making this video.

101Tali Wenne: Im a professionell and i Never Seen someone who does ins that perfect at Home Good Job !!

Cristina Reiser: Thank you for this video! Your hair looks great, adding products to my cart right now!

BotanicalBrittney: Wish I could add a photo! I used your technique. This was my first time bleaching my hair and while it’s not perfect, it’s a lot better than I thought it’d be!

Toto D: Hi, you can just move the comb farther down the section of hair and then separate the sections closer to the head instead of pulling on your hair and separating it on the side of the comb farthest from your head. You can also change the volume of your developer to 10 volume for the ends instead of the same bleach strength. Kinder to the hair that has already been bleached.

sylvia mclellan: I think you do a GREAT job! I live in an area where my hair has been ruined by alleged professionals and charged an arm and leg to boot! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Eltoya 92: Highlighting my hair today. You are part of my inspiration

EsJames: If you want a cooler tone, try a root smudge with a demi permanent wella dye + 10 vol developer. Tease your hair and then leave the ends untouched if you want them light

Daisy Cifuentes: Looks beautiful ❤️

Stacy_SJ&A: Out of all the professional videos.. I can relate to this one most! So glad you JUST did a touch up vid... just what I was looking for

Kimberly Leah: Im a professional and your technique is pretty good. Great job! Love the blonde do not go dark. Just my opinion :)

Cristina Lopez: I love but love your hair videos. I love the way it came out!!! So tempting to do this now ☺️

margavsd1: I think it came out beautiful after the toner...yes it is a little lighter than usual but it looks great on you. I got this tip from a friend, when using a toner I just mix it with 10V so the hair doesn't damage to much or get lighter, juts changes the tone. Thanks again for your great tutorials

Laura S: Looks so Gorgeous and Professional!!

Lifewithminicuties: Looks good girl I’m a hairstylist too and I love doing my own hair too but good job love

Lesly JR: Very helpful. Definitely not gonna pay over 500+ again! I already been doing my hair how I actually want too and capable of doing and its better then being in the wrong hands and them not understanding what I dont want!!

Veronica Herrera: Wow this is really gorgeous. Looks amazing on you.

Silly Girl: Oh my goodness that is absolutely stunning I learn so much from you! Awesome YouTube channel!!

Nadia: I was wondering what to do with my extra blondeme bleach and developer ,I've watched both your videos now,Thank you! Huge help ,and cross my fingers hoping I get the same results! Can't wait to try

Brenda Says: You glowed even more after !!! Nice work.. thank you for sharing.

Jenny Inglima: her hair is jammin it looks better than any salon I have gone to. She is making think I can do it!

Jazmin Chew: Don’t go dark, it looks good

Kim Stewart: Gorgeous!! You’re getting really good at this. Can I ask, was your brown hair (which you highlighted) coloured/tinted at all? Or was it virgin hair? Mine is tinted as I’m grey so it’s harder to highlight...

Damla: I loved it! What is the measurement for toner section? How many oz of toner and 10 volume?

chinnychinchin: I do my hair at home too... I do only half of my hair at a time. So if I'm doing a partial highlight I can take my time. I use a balayage board with foil on it and really weave out fine and very thin sections at a time and saturate it well with bleach making sure the bleach doesn't get too thick at the roots to prevent bleeds. This way the bleach lifts past the orange stage and it's so much easier to tone afterwards. I use 2 different toners... or one toner and a purple conditioner to preserve the health of my hair. I use a level 7 ashy toner (strong blue, silver, grey type of color) with a weak developer to blend out the stitch marks and ease the transition as my hair grows out and then a platinum toner for the ends or I just mix Artic Fox Girls Night Out with some conditioner for my ends to keep them nice and healthy. I ordered the Blonde me bleach finally after watching your previous videos and OMG game changer!! Your hair looks amazing... don't darken it!!

Ashlynn_: The amount of blonde is perfect you look beautiful. I think your roots need a little something but you definitely look amazing with more blonde

Michelle Sadikovic: Looks good! But with toner you want to use low volume so you don’t create more warmth in your natural color, and also you could take like a 5na toner at your roots and do a smudge do add the depth back and blend out the lines

Sydney Williams: Girl, you are BRAVE! And this looks too cute!! Perfection!

Em.elroor: The technique was 10/10 it looks good on you. I do think if you applied more bleach to the strands. They look a little dry maybe thats why they were not as light as you wanted, thats what brad mondo would say. But i do love it it looks great

Jillian Safa: Ugh you never fail to amaze me

Sylvia Roman: I love that color! It's beautiful!

Rubi Sanchez: I love it!! You look gorgeous just keep it! And great video

Beauty by Robin: Love those colors! Great job.

Too Sense: Looks great, Im gonna try it. People always post vids with Wella T18 or T14, nice to see you use something different. We have the same skintone. I lightened my hair with bleach, then hairdye but it looks golden blonde. It's not bad, but I love your shade of blonde, so pretty!! Good job!

Kim R: It looks SOOO good

Hannah L: I think it looks great! I can hear Brad Mondo saying, “use more bleach!!” Lol

Danikxo: Your hair is stunning!!! I found your blonde video before this one. And this is even better!!!!!! The brightness. The color. The mix of blonde. Jsut love it on you side so so much!!!!!!!! Anywho, can u please tell me where you got that highlight comb? ive never seen that before!

Rachael Shaffer: Looks soooo good!

Kiley B: For the toner get violet and mix with an ash like demi permanent 9A or wella ash toner and 6 percent developer or one for demi permanent (same thing) it obliterates orange! Good job seriously it looks gorgeous!

shockalockabocka: You’re bleaching/highlighting process is good, but the toners you use will lighten your natural hair color and make everything look red/warm once the ash washes out. If you use demi permanent color to tone with low volume developer it will tone and ash off you’re result without affecting you’re natural hair color.

Doc Brown: You look amazing with blonde hair!!

Andrea: Gorgeous hair and women great job chica

Aida Azlan: Can we apply bleach on hair that has been previously dyed? Or we need to use colour remover first?

Xeny: Hi how long does this usually last?

Amanda Lambert: This video and your others gave really given me the courage to do my own hair thanks

Ekaterina Zinovyeva: it looks great!

Mariah Mondragon: I'm finally about to take a leap and attempt this to my hair lol I got the blonde kit from Sally's. A few questions, how would I do it without the comb? And can I just use normal foil wraps? Lol thank you

Mariely Sanchez: I love it! Don't add more brunette it looks amazing

John3:16 #Mommy&Lilys: U look fantastic and i love these hair videos sooo much !!!

Megan Lundwall: I think it looks really nice on you! Thank you for sharing

H T: I’m new to your channel and I really like how your hair turns out… I’m trying to learn how to do my own hair , so I subscribe to your channel. I hope I can learn how to do my hair and be brave like you . Thanks!

Jerklord: That Shea Moisture mask is the BEST. I use that and also the leave in conditioner.

Ana K: I'm Braziliam and i do my light's hair alone. I always use tone before blonder! Your hair is perfect!

Susan Earl: Gorgeous!

Sharon Pereira: Hey hair sister, i pretty much do what you do when bleaching my hair (sectioning) but put loads of bleach on and use the batch within 10 mins…, but i have grey roots so blonde highlights hide them! OLAPLEX changed my life!! invest in some, hair bleached 3x in a row and not damaged!!! I too used wrong toner and ended up using blue but got on to my blonde which turned it green…‍♀️ had to rebleach then used redken shades eq 9p 9t and redken colour gels 7nn with 20vol to get rid of orange and cover grey at the roots! Suits our skin tone! You did a good job!

iamkayoko: i love it looks really nice the highlights and tone of it

majamon: I do my hair by myself as well and my natural hair is pretty dark level 3. I love how ur highlights turned out but that transition from ur colour and blonde its too redish..must be because you used 30vol developer with toner. Next time you can try with 10vol just to deposit the colour. You look great with those bright highlights

MichelleC: Blue shampoo won’t turn your hair green, but actually give your blonde more of a cooler tone. If the top is too brassy (Orange) you can always use a Demi to tone the orange like a level 7. The wella is too light to tone the orange. Also, if you’re gonna bleach the whole strand.. focus on the grow out first so it can lift how you like it and than go back through each strand to blend it. That is why the top looks more orange than the ends. You didn’t give your grow out enough time to lighten. It’s no biggie, but an level 7 demi (toner) can help with the orange part only.

Evelin Guevara: Wow I love it. Thanks for the tips. So now I know the works well. Soooooo

Baby Cakes: Great job on that color at home. I am scared to do mine, because I tried to tone my blonds and I had a lot of hair that broke off on top. I need to do my roots. You would look great in your hair bit shorter too.

Hilda Medrano: You just saved my hair lol thank you!

Megan Taljaard: Yaaay! New hair video! I've been looking forward to this for a while!! ❤️❤️

Shirley Andrade: I love this color on you it’s Beautiful
