What'S up YouTube, I'm Adrienne and I'm back again with another man, we've transformation tutorial for you guys it's been a little while, since I posted last like two months, I promise to not take that big of a gap. Again. I just got really busy over these last couple months. I got a big announcement I'll be making here in a couple of weeks, so you guys make sure you stay tuned subscribe to this channel if you're not subscribed. Yet today's video I'll be showing you guys a mini afro unit, similar to the first unit I posted back in December, but this one, the installation process - is a lot different with the way we're gon na install the hair so make sure you take those pay attention. All the products I'm using this video are gon na be down in the description below so you're gon na check them out. Make sure also that you follow my Instagram, because I post a lot of stuff on Instagram as well, but I'm not gon na waste too much more time talking before this video, let's just go ahead and get into it alright, so you see the before pictures here. If you're not familiar with my videos, I say here I'm watching the video with you coach me through it, because that questions makes you leave them in the comments, and I try my best to answer as many questions as I possibly can so yeah, let's go ahead And get into this unit, you see my client right here. We'Re gon na change his life today we're going to do a big transformation. First thing: we're gon na do uh, like I say, we're doing a mini afro unit, so I want to preserve all of the natural hair that I possibly can and I just want to kind of build around it. So I'm gon na pick it out. I'M just gon na get my canvas ready. You know kind of figure out what I'm working with before I jump into it rest up. I'M gon na do here. If you can't really tell too much in the video, but in person, you can still see where the natural hairline was so before I just shaved the top ball. I want to preserve his natural hairline um and get it you know as close as possible, as I can so I'm trying to use these natural hairline that that I can see it's kind of hard to tell in this video where it is, but I'm just gon Na use that as a guide to make my hairline okay now this is like the most important part of the process. You have to make sure that you get this line straight. If it's not straight, when you go to put the hair on and then cut it down the lines gon na be crooked, because wherever the glue is is what the hair is gon na stick so use this margin guide to make sure you the line is as Perfect, as you can again on, if that's your client, where they want their hairline, try not to do something that super unnatural, so I keep it as natural as possible, and now here I'm just going in and I'm just cutting his hair down. I got these Clippers. Just all the way close equal to a 3-0 Blaine, diffuse and blades. You don't have to go all the way down to the skin, but you do want to get close to this key. You just go. You don't have to shave it. It doesn't have to be completely bald. There could be some stubble there. It'S not gon na hurt the unit at all. This is going to make sure I get a nice even base that I'm gon na start to work with the preparation is a big part. You'Re setting yourself up for success that you want to make sure that you prepare the surface, so you get the best possible results right here. All I'm using this stop protective, and I'm just gon na put this top particular any way that I'm gon na put glue. Now, with this unit, there's not gon na be a whole bunch of blue lace, wig glue on his skin, just because I'm gon na build a unit on top some of the past videos, if you guys seen it before um, where I put the wrap in the Cap on so that way, I don't have to use a ton of skin, protect them really just putting it around where I'm putting the glue and now I'm using different lace, wig glue - and this is a superb on lace - wig glue it's down in the description below. If you have questions where you want to try it out, I don't use this one that often it's just it's a lot more sticky than um like the bondholder ghost binary of those, and so I try not to use it much, but I did want to change It up a little bit in these videos just to show you guys there are more products out there that you can use it just go spun or notice cop protector. I use it so many different products out there and I'll try to I'll try to use a wide variety of them to trying to mix it up a little bit. I know a lot of these products. You really is hard to find and like your local beauty, supply stores, so you have to go online to Amazon or other websites to find the bottom, and so what I did is I just made a line of glue. Just a circular glue around the the bald area that I created and now right here in the middle, I'm just gon na put you need to do that. You do a circle, I'm just a little cross on this one and I'm just gon na use that glue to lay this wrap down. So you see, if you compare this to other videos where you see I'll use a lot of glue on your actual scalp to let the hair down this one. I'M not laying a lot of glue and I'm just gon na take my black hair cat hair wrap and I'm just gon na wrap it around wherever I let that glue - and this is gon na - create my base to help make my Union moisture-resistant it's gon na. Be able to hold up to water a lot better than if you don't have one of these Basin. You just lay there now, as you can see, this is a this is a bigger black rap, sometimes sometimes our most the time I said, I used just a standard size, black size rap. My beauty supply store here in town didn't have those at the time. So I've got the Jumbo's. You can use the Jumbo ones you can cut them down to whatever size you want. You know you just really tailor it to the area that you're working with and now where I put the the cross in the middle with the glue. I'M just gon na lay that cut down there and to get the rest of this cat to lay down. I'M not gon na use the lace. Bingo again, I'm gon na use a black hair blue, so you'll see in a second I'll pull that out and I'm gon na lay that super flat, cable and I'm gon na lay the rest of this wrap down with that now. This is still a lot of wrap. If you want, you can cut the wrap like. I said this top and let me smallish a smaller piece to lay down your altar. You'Re in goal is to get it to be flat, and you know I came up with different different little tricks to help it lay down, get it nice and flat. So I could put my cap over it and my unit lays nicely so there I just laid down the other half and I'm just gon na put some more glue on each in I'm. Just gon na lay those back down. It'S crazy. I took a two-month break off. Youtube, wasn't really the break. I was still working doing a lot of stuff but yeah, I'm banking, any videos due back out consistent again. So if you're not subscribed, make sure you subscribe to the channel and follow me on Instagram as well, so now, I'm just gon na use a little bit of extra black hair glue and just kind of smooth it over those creases I created, and I take my Blow-Dryer and I'm gon na get this capped to be a hundred percent dry. Before I go on to my next step, this hair unit, this was like this is probably one of my favorites I have done just because of the reaction of the client. Afterwards, I mean it's been a while, since he's had hair or a full head of hair, and so just to see you know his reaction. Well, how happy he was pretty fulfilling unity. Now you've seen previous video, you see, I always use the black cap, so rat cat put the cap down we're gon na glue this cap down on top of this wacky, no we're gon na cut it off make sure you pull that cap all the way down. Like I said, you want to create a nice smooth surface so that way, when you go to lay your hair, you have a nice nice landscape that you're working with I mean I'm just gon na go around in a circle. Some of the some of those I like the way I, like the lace wig glue. I just put it around a circle and say: I'm do the same thing on here then put a cross down the middle and down the side, and then I'm going to kind of press it down into the cap. You'Ll see here in a second so here now I'm making the cross and then I'm just gon na take my finger and I'm gon na kind of press that glues this down, because I want things cap to adhere the rap to adhere to the cap. So you see what I'm doing every my finger just kind of pressing that down in there and now I'm gon na let this dry a hundred percent. If you're in a rush use your blow dryer, you don't have to use a blow dryer the glue doesn't take a long time to dry. I find myself using the book or most of time just you know it just helps to speed up the process. You want to respect your clients time, because this process can take a long time if you just let the glues dry, just for you and then, when your blow dryer make sure this you use cool air, never want to use warm air or hot air. That'S gon! Na help reactivate the glue, make it sticky and slimy and after you get that that basic glue dry, you want to go ahead and you're gon na cook this cap off. So you just follow the room where the glue was turn that off and now I have my base set and I can go in and I can start laying my hair shut that cap all the way up, it doesn't have to be all the way down. Touching the existing hair, or anything like that, just enough for the for the so you can let your hair, just you - want to create a nice smooth foundation, make it make your job easy so now for his hairline, I'm going to use electrical tape again in this Video, I'm not using Ghost bond or bond holder, use other glues, I'm just using this lace, wig strong on hold again it's not my favorite super sticky. It can be hard to work with. But again I just want to be versed the time with the different products. I'Ll show you guys so I came across with my two pieces of electrical tape, but I'm gon na take a third piece just right in the middle, because this, like I said this glue, can be hard to work with. So I'm gon na try to just get this as straight as possible in the first shot. So that way I don't want to have to go and have start moving the glue around the cities and stuff because, like say a super sketchy super tacky glue. You can see and how stringy it is, and I'm just gon na take this whole area. That'S not covered with a cap. I'M gon na fill this with the lace wood glue and then I'm gon na take a strip of the Cuban twist hair. As my hairline and I'm gon na lay that over it now with this sometimes like, if I don't have popsicle, sticks, I'll use old combs, this glue right here actually comes with like a fat popsicle stick you can use to kind of smooth the glue out, but Yeah popsicle sticks here, I'd say goodbye, a box of like a bunch of popsicle sticks for like 2 bucks or whatever that way, you know wasting cones, because once you get this glue on any things again, you can see our string. It is right here and I'm just using the tip of the glue applicator just to kind of smooth it out and get a nice smooth, smooth base. You guys soon as you get that smooth out this glue dries fast and once it dries put more on. If you don't move fast enough, but take the tape off immediately, if you let that, if you let the glue start to dry over the tape, then you go back and take the tape off. Then it's gon na peel off parts of the going to be really good. So here I just took a piece of the Cuba Cuban twist hair that I have I'm using previous videos it's down in my description below as well. You click the link. Take you right. There to buy it, but the Cubans to his hair always use it for that. No, I don't all just read hair my most of time. I use it for a hair line. It blends in well and it lines up really. Well, I'm just gon na go ahead and cut off the excess ends that I don't need and also don't make the mistake of leaving the tape on and then coming back and putting the hair over the tape. I'Ve done it before it is a mess. So now I'm going to take my Milky Way: cute twirl hairs the hair I'm going to use for on top and I'm gon na. Take it off the package. I'M gon na keep it tied in the bundle and I'm just going to comb it out. Like I said, this process is a little bit faster process, moving a Scala hair and so keep it on that bundle. Comb it out, get it real. Real nappy and you're gon na come you're gon na cut that tie off see how static tighten up so for him. I'M gon na use the two bundles and come both of those blenders out and I'm just gon na wait. I'M gon na put my blue on. First, so I'm gon na cover the whole cap with glue and then, after that, I'll go and I'll cut. Those ties off those bundles and I'll make those bundles so again go ahead, fill a whole cap of blue. Now this glue also, it doesn't dry or it doesn't hold right away, and so what I like to do is you can see how they're too dry a little bit give it. You know three four minutes, that's when it really becomes tacking. You put the hair on the hair, is gon na actually hold right away? If you try to put the hair on right away, when you put the glue down, then the hairs are gon na fall right off. So now you see I'm going in I'm gon na cut that tie off these bundles. You tried to use like some old as you don't use anymore. It'S usually refusing new stuff they're gon na be done. Don'T try to use your best your best tools on synthetic hair, so I'm gon na let this kind of fluff out a little bit and I'm just gon na place this on top on the first half of his head. So I'm kind of starting from the front and just just bring them back just cover up half his head. Now you don't have to use only two bundles, not everybody's head is the same. Most people are gon na use, two bundles and then you'll. I don't think I'll ever use one bundle, but you use tool by those that you meet three News: three, if you use, if you need four bundles charged with another hundred dollars, but not easily to two or three brothers, usually does the job there's three doesn't do The job - yes, I don't think I've used more than three, so I'm just gon na get this heritage just to sit perfectly on they're gon na take my second bundle same thing and I'm just gon na lay it the same exact way. I just did, and you want to make sure that the bottom and the part that you cut the flat part of the bottom lays down into that glue just the way I just laid it right here and like watching them on video. It looks like there's no way this is gon na come out. It'S not gon na look good like this isn't gon na work, but this, like I said this is a this - is a way to do this afro unit and cut your time down significantly from using uh using the track hair with the track hair. It takes a little money, I split the track and you got ta go in measure them out cut them lamb, lamb, lamb, like I said this, you just call me I'll cut it place it. It probably cut your job down by about a half hour. At least you know, I'm just gon na take a blow dryer again with cool air, I'm just gon na go in I'm just gon na kind of pack, the hair, the one like the roots are created to take here today glue. Well, I want to be able to actually pull the hair out here. You see in a second. If you can't pull the hair out, then you've probably been laid right. It shouldn't it. Shouldn'T come right now, but just kind of kind of Pat a little bit. You can get down to the bottom to the glue and make sure it's a favor. Will you see how pulling no hair comes out? That'S how you know you got it laid down right. You don't want to be pulling hair and hair coming out loose. If you do, if you do that, then you didn't get all the hair to leg on a perfectly like you're supposed to be so I have to get the hair place, you blow-dry, you get it dry, no hairs coming out, you can go and you can start Cutting it down once you get to this part, it's kind of it's a free-for-all. You do what the client want you to do, there's no right or wrong way. Now we're just doing a regular haircut, we're just gon na shape up his afro with this guy. Exactly you've seen how natural hair was in the beginning, okay, so what I'm going to do with this? I'M just gon na, even this up with his natural hair and shake it up, make it look nice line, love take room. That'S all there is to this process. So you seen the installation of it now. They said we get to this part here and that your client dictate the length they want. You know let them let them tell you. They looked at one you're, going use greater phone and most the time when I'm, when I'm shaping up the synthetic hair, I usually use an old pair of magic clips to walk magic lips are using Oh, a blade for my Angie's BGR city or house or 76. Whatever, whatever cooker you prefer, but those two I think work the best and again you want to use latex like you, don't want to use your everyday working Clippers when you're working with the synthetic hair here in the future, you'll see we'll get into some of these Man we videos where I'm using human hair, I'm using the lace unit and you can use your use, your actual good Clippers on that, because it's real hair and they're, not it's not going to dull your blades, like the synthetic plastic hair will so again, you see Me switch between my my Oh, a blade on my BG RCS and my mobile magic club, and I prefer to use the the Oh, a blade on the BG oxys. But the thing is it gets hot. So quick! Sometimes you can almost like when you're shaking the hair, you can almost smell it. Cutting your hair like it's burning, but yeah I mean that's just really. All there is to it again, I'm just shaking it up. I evened it up with this, his natural hair. You know got it down to the length that he wanted it, and then I just went through at the end my tapered I'll take the size of Tecna bag laying up his face, and that was that. MrChaChaATL: Much respect bruh. You out here upgrading these brother's lives.

BRENDA HAMILTON: I wanted to wear my own hair out for the summer, because of alopecia on top I wanted to install a closure, I came upon your video for men, I followed your instructions, and my closure came out perfect, I can't say enough on how pleased I am. Thank you for an awesome video.

JA FH: He went from "can i get a dolla?" to "Where's my money?"

Aero01: One of my favourite man weave videos. You made the weave look very natural. Also, you took away 15 years. Good job.

Lillyen Cabral: I've literally NEVER seen it done this way before! Great job, I love it!!!!!

dajam9035: Lol I remember back in the days of Gta san andreas when I was laughing at the fact that I went into the barbershop with a low cut and came out with a afro. This dude turned that into reality .

KrisPlaysOW: It’s so interesting your technique my mom went to beauty school in the 70s I’m forever showing her your videos and she’s just amazed with your videos this was awesome and loved how you explain everything in detail

Stephanie Oni: Wow. I just started binge watching these man weave videos and this one just jumped to the top of my favorite. Keep it up. Amazing!

Eireee17: I def think it makes men look better. This can help with esteem as well. It looks great!

ERIKA DOWDY: WHY do i find these SOO satisfying to watch?!?!♥️

Tee Bee: Absolutely amazing. What a transformation.

K P: Wow - I have never seen anything like this.  That is incredible.  I wonder how long it lasts.

SnuffBee: I've always said men could wear wigs too and im so glad they're able to socially now. Everyone deserves to feel confident and put together this is so great to see

Lisa Lomax: That is simply AMAZING!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW THAT TURNED OUT!!! WOW!!

Jolly: First time I've seen this done. This is amazing. How long does that last?

Rebecca Spratling: This is so awesome! I bet he felt amazing afterwards. ♥️

Arlena Campbell: That is amazing. You did a really great job.

Poppi_Weasel: Showed this to my Mom. She was Fascinated! She couldn't stop watching & wanted to see more videos

Whoda Hellru: I’ve been comfortable with my bald head for over 10 years, but seeing these videos makes me want to try hair again! If you were local, we’d see each other quite often lol

Jadé: It's so good to see that men can do this too. After all they need to be catered to just as much as us women

madi kanga: hi , could you use this technique of laying down the hair vertically ( vs horizontally )on the scalp exposure units ,using just the glue( no wrap) and cutting them very low ?or ,when cut ,the 2 laying modes will issue the same result ?Thanks

Mark Rodrigue: I had one installed twice. Not from the guy in the video, but by a barber near me. It was good for 2 or 3 days. When I sweat, there was no way to do anything about the sweat trapped underneath the unit. Unless taken off, and cleaned. Which you can't do until the next installment. So overall , it looks nice. But I think the price needs to be affordable for the working man, because for the amount of money I spent for 2 installments, with the unit beginning to stink, after 8 days, depending on your workload, I would have needed alot of units, and alot of appointments, and alot of money. Well its been over a year and decided to just go bald. I feel better, and have money in my pocket, and nothing to worry about stinking. But more power to those who can can afford that upgraded lifestyle. Just wasnt for me

THE HOUSEMAN: WOW, THAT'S INSANE!! MAY GOD BLESS YOU FOR HELPING OUR BROTHERS!

McKeon Mackey: This is cool what you are doing man im sure you are helping alot of People regain their confidence with this. Sure its "just" hair but a persons mentality is important and this is one of those things that helps with that.

Erin Sanchez: you are truly blessed and you're inspiring a lot of people please keep up the great work

Glow4ME COSMETICS: What kind of sorcery This was so mind blowing to watch you did great! I felt like I was watching myself apply a unit to my clients lol If you’d like a thinner application, and for it to lay super flat, use a knee high and place it down to the ears, cutting a hole on both sides. Pull the ears through the holes to pull the knee high flat and once you’ve applied your glue and it dries, cut the remainder off. You can remove your glues with olive oil or the adhesive remover by Bold Hold. The Bold Hold adhesive is great too. If you want something less abrasive with a shorter application/removal timeframe, try Got2Be Gel or Freeze Spray It’s a strong gel that can be used when applying extensions. Great vid and thanks for sharing

Jess C.: You should include client reactions!

MrVVnz: You've got a gift and its good to see you giving him that smile back, talk about helping boost ones confidence! Nice video mate.

Jeanette Davis: I watched the first one, you really did him justice. Keep up the good work

G DeB: I feel the same way ERIKA. Is it Adrin's voice :), I commend the men who agree to go through this transformation for the youtube audience. Great Job Adrin, and also to the brother who is rocking a great Man Weave by Adrin The Barber.

Erick Harris: Wow That's An Awesome Transformation!!!!!

Twan252: Brought this dude Wayyy back to Life

Key Elevating: Amazing skills and creativity!!

Lisas GTO: I have a few questions. How do you clean the scalp under the hair? How do you remove it? Does the client return to your shop for removal and a wash? How long can the piece stay on the scalp without causing damage?

Kevin Braden: I saw a talk show do a report on Men's hair weaves, and the Barber did a quick cheap version of this. This mans skill is at another Level.

Kevin Johnson: How long do these last lol

Y Sigarroba: what clippers and edgers do you use??? Awesome job by the way!!

BlimpCityFeeder: He's happy which is all that matters. I'm curious as this seems so much more detailed/complex than other Man Weave videos with Black, Asian or European clients.

Kimmi Beth: @Adrinthebarber...is this taught in barbering school these days or is this something you have to learn on your own?? Amazing skills!

April Nicole: Ok @adrinthebarber when you cut of off the track does it still hold the same life span for the style? Or is it more prob to shed sooner?

Tone!: Most women wear weaves and don't even need them, but on the other hand, men's hair loss is inevitable. I'm surprised this hasn't become a worldwide standard for balding men like it is for women. I don't even think people care to roast/ talk down on it... especially when the before and after is this damn good❗Work my boy

D: I wanted to see his reaction . I love it looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nene Sterling: Amazing..... hair loss is such a pain

DPrincess28: Wow. Now that was amazing!!!

Ken More: Amazing, great job great look,I love it ,I’m a bald 66yr old white dude ❤️

strawberryvines: Drying hair glue on hot heat won't reactivate it. However, it does leave a film. Its been used in quickweaves and lashes for decades. I love how you're taking things we women have been using forever and making it work for men. Thats genius af lol

James Camilleri: How long does this last?

Michael Gardener: How long does it last?

Kelley Kann: That's amazing

Glitter Mafia: How long do these units last?

Anthony J.: Man, you certainly flipped the script for this dude. Turned that frown upside down..... Lol Well done!

Sugar Free Shanita: You gave him 20 years back! Awesome work!

Peter Who?: Wow just amazing work! :-0

MissBunni: Amazing..I would've loved to see his reaction..i can imagine how happy and fulfilling that makes you..BUT I understand tho you not filming since it is so personal and emotional for a client..it's good you respect that more than anything!

danithesupernatural 44: Excellent job...dont see nothing wrong with a man or woman making improvements...more men should do it so they dont have to go around feeling bad abt balding.

alanthegoatt: he went from “can i get a dollar?” to “keep the change brutha”

Jalen Robinson: How long does this stuff actually last?

milton brendle: Love you man,, definately looking for some people to try these on

Jason barber and educator: The brother was in last place! You blessed him.

james ponds: OMG That's Amazing!

Chief Talk: how long will it last? will it fade and loosen?

Inquiring Minds: Hair voodoo . If this last 2 weeks to a month with no client abuse then it's worth the price of admission. Thank you.
