Hi everyone - this is Anna from pepperdine style. Thank you for watching my video today. I want to talk about hair extensions specifically take thin extensions. I have clip ins and I love them, but the clips can hurt sometimes and it's hard to pull up your hair. When you have them recently, I discovered that you can do tapings at home and do them yourself crazy. I know okay, some of you may have heard of these before and are probably rolling your eyes at me, but hey, I'm just now discovering these, and I wanted to share with those who have not heard about DIY tape. Ins tape, pens are a semi-permanent and the most natural-looking, but also the most expensive. They do last about two months depending on how well you take care of them. So I got these from Lux Beauty Club. This is the box right here, so I just got these two days ago, and this is my first time trying to put them on and doing it right in front of you all and basically showing you what to expect, as I myself take on this task. So, let's do it! Let me talk a little bit about it, though so open the box, and I got a twenty inch straight tape, ins and medium brown, and I also got the luxe punic club, hair extension removal. This is bond. Balm is a non residue. Hair extension removal and it's non greasy, so it just comes right off by the way before I get to putting on the extensions, I want to say that you should start with very clean hair use, clarifying shampoo to remove any residue from your hair. Don'T use any products on the roots of your hair, where the tapes are going to be bonded to they do recommend to use dry shampoo two to three days after you apply to allow the tapes to set in you may use them between washes to not over Wash your hair, you can use any heating tools, curling wand, flat, irons, dryers when necessary. You know they also don't recommend to wash your hair for 48 hours after applying the tape and because they do need to set. They need that time to sit in. Do not use a moisturizing conditioner on the roots, like I said before, do not brush your hair. Well, it's wet. So this is the pact and, as you can tell, these are a little bit lighter than my natural hair, which I don't mind because I think they're gon na act kind of like highlights in my hair again these are the 20 inches and you get 20 pieces. I believe so when you sandwich them is actually ten clumps around your hair. My first impression was that this isn't much hair. I do have thin hair and a one a little bit more volume, but not too much. So I don't know we'll see film. Let see how these work okay, so this is the tape part, and this is the side that gon na be on top. So you're, not gon na see this white or blueish kind of you know tape. So I've already parted my hair, I'm going to start on the side just to show you what I'm doing, because it's gon na be hard to do the back and show you. But I am peeling the tape and this is ultra hold. Take. You can also get extra tape strips from deluxe beauty club site, so this apart, so I'm just gon na take a little strip very very little. I don't know if you can see and I'm going to go, I'm going to put this on the underside and I'm going to leave about a quarter of an inch from the root per the instructions. You know hold it like this and I take my comb and press it down and if you can see then take another section, peel the tape and press it right on top of the other one and it is recommended to kind of squish it down. I see some glue here, which I don't like, so I'm gon na try to kind of pull it off a little bit, don't get out most of it okay, so this is a little longer than my natural hair I may have to trim. It just depends on how it what it looks like after all, the pieces are in so I'm gon na do this side now peel. Then I'm gon na take a little section. It'S very very little. We are basically sandwiching your hair in between two pieces and you're. Doing the same amount of hair that there is in one piece from your hair, so you stick this piece under this same amount of hair from your own hair, and then you stick another and Stander's them together and your hair is going to be in between so That is the idea, and I guess you just have to play around with it, and I mean I got the first two fine. I did two more one here and one here, and these came out a little crooked. I don't think it's a big deal. Cuz the rest of the hair is gon na be down, but I'm gon na keep trying to get them as straight as I possibly can okay. So I wanted to point something out. I started from the top and I should I know I should have started it from the bottom. I don't know why I did this. I know better, but this goes to show that now I have this part pulled up in a bun, which is where the extensions are, and you can't even see them with. You know they with the hair pulled up like this. Isn'T that great? So if I had clip in extensions that would absolutely show and then would be pulling my hair like crazy and hurting they are not hurting at all. I can't even a limb barely maybe a little bit not too much not as much as clippings. Definitely, but you can tell - or you can't tell actually that I have anything on, but I do have I mean you can see the lighter colors of the extension by the way. Also so I still have about five more sandwiches to put in. I wanted to also point out that this is like I said before. This is real human remy hair and it feels so natural and exactly like my own hair, the clip in extensions that I have are supposed to be real human remy hair, but they feel different than my hair. I don't know if it's, because these hair strands are thinner and come from just thinner, hair and the other ones are like way way thick. So for me, because I have thin hair this blends in flawlessly. So I'm going to finish my hair and then I will show you the end result. Okay, so I have them all in and I am loving them. They feel so natural and, as you can see, the color blends well, even though it's a little lighter than mine, it also gave me some length I might have to kind of trim it a little bit because there's not enough hair to blend with mine that to Make it look like it's my own, like my own hair, I think that if each section maybe had a little bit more hair, not necessarily thicker hair, but just more hair, it would the length would kind of blend it in a little better. But I still like it um and - and I can pull it up - no problem, no showing or at least I don't think it does yet and yes, I am really happy with the luxe beauty club tape in extensions that you can do at home by herself. I did it all by myself. I was going to have my then help me, but it's gon na be a little while before he gets home, and I wanted to make sure that I get this video out anyways, I really loved it. I hope you love it. Something to note too, if you make a mistake and you use so removal and you remove them, you would have to replace the tape and get new tape. You can get extra strips in the lux Beauty Club website. So, like I made a mistake with one of them, which is not a big deal, I would just like to kind of cuz it's a little crooked I would like to. I would like to kind of straighten it out a little bit. So if I were to remove it, I would have to replace the tape and put new tape in extensions are supposed to last anywhere from two to six months, depending on how well you take care of them. I hope to take care of them very well. You have questions just let me know if you get them. Let me know as well and tell me what you think just comment below. Thank you. So much for watching I'll see you next time. Bye.
