If you would like to see an in depth how I care for my extensions or a video on clip ins vs tape ins please let me know!!

Hi guys so this video is going to be all about my Zala hair extensions and what I think of them. So I ordered the sixteen inch tape in hair extensions, and this is what just one piece looks like and one extension is going to be two pieces together. So that'd be one extension. This is kind of how long they are, and I did the sixteen inch just because I'm wanting to add thickness and volume to my hair and not really unlink. So my natural hair is just about two here as well, and I'm not really wanting to add a lot of length to it and just letting it grow, but this adds thickness and some body, because my hair is really fine. Naturally, so I ordered two sets of twenty pieces, so one package from them is 20 pieces, which would be ten extensions because it's two per extension, and so I ordered two of those so technically 40 pieces and 20 extensions. I didn't end up getting all those put in, however, and the color that I ordered is honey. Beach highlights and sunkissed highlights now. Honey beach highlights is kind of like what would be my natural kind of brownish, like brown, color weaved in with a blonde, and the sunkissed highlights is a bit lighter and it's more like a darker blonde and a bleach blonde and they have pictures online. But those are the two that are actually blended together in my hair and match super well for ordering online. They much really well like this is my natural hair here, and this is an extension piece, so it looks really good. So I was very pleased with the colors and I think, if you watch the video that they have posted you'll, be just fine trying to figure those out. So those are what I ordered, and the thing that I love most about the solid hair extensions is how thick they are from root to tip the thickness here at the root is just the same at the tip, nice and bluntly cut it, and that is what People are looking for when they have extensions. You know so many of us. I know I have ordered extensions, that kind of taper into just like one measly strand at the bottom and it's giving you volume where you don't need it and not giving you volume where you need it. So I do love that the Sala are so thick at the bottom, because I think that's really what everyone's looking for and at a reasonable price. So I think that's really great. I have had so many other extensions that start out how you want and kind of taper thin, and that's just not helping us get that full look that we want, especially if you're adding inches of length to your hair. You really want that to look thick and full and not obviously tapering into like a straggly strand. Like oh look, I have 20 inch hair and it's like straggly so anyways. That is what I love about these extensions, so how I got them done was when I originally ordered them. I thought I was going to be able to put them in myself, but I was wrong just because with even if I set up mirrors and stuff, I wasn't just gon na be able to get them as close to my roots as I wanted and really get Good placement, so I kind of realized that and ended up calling my hairdresser here in Philadelphia and he has worked with hot Headz taping extensions and he's kind of like certified through them and carries their product in his salon. So I asked him if he would be willing to put the Salah hair extensions in for me and he said that he would that just like he wasn't liable for anything that happens, and I was totally fine with that. So he put them in for me he did a really good job. Originally he put in 17 pieces and I ended up taking out three just because it started out so thick. I it was like almost too thick like. I didn't even need that much hair. So I've taken out a couple over time and now have about fourteen in my head, just because there are a couple that were placed in places I didn't really like, and then I felt like. I didn't even need that much hair, so he charged me $ 10 per attention so for 17 extensions to start out. It'S 170. I actually didn't do a ton of research on that. So I don't know how much other places charge, because a lot of times you're going to be buying your hair through your salon. So I don't know how that works with other places. But I do know that this hair was a lot better price than if I were to get the hotheads extensions through him. So I was pretty pleased with that and then I'll just show you what they look like. I'Ve had these in for about three. Almost four weeks, almost a month now and they're, just starting to grow down a little bit but I'll show you what they look like. You can see this one here, so it is just starting to grow down just a tiny bit and I can lift it up. All the way down, so that's just what they look like they're super lightweight. You can't really feel them unless you're, like touching your head, like you, can with a bunch of like clips in there they're, obviously so much more comfortable than clippings. There wasn't really any pain involved, just when you put them in. I told him I want them like, as close as the root to the root as he could get them, because I want them to last as long as possible, so when he was putting them on he'd, get them really close and then once both pieces or sandwich With my hair in the middle, he would kind of go along and press like this back and forth, really tight against my head, so that kind of hard cause is almost pulling on my scalp a little bit. But that was like very temporary and that's like the only possibly painful thing in the whole process. I will share with you. The shampoo that you're gon na want to use is going to be sulfate, free and paraben free. Those are the two things that almost everyone recommends for tape and extensions, or probably any extensions, and I'm currently using this brand called Evo. It'S also an Australian brand and it's soul. Freight and paraben free my style of salsa, his salon and nose that works well with extensions, it's free of those substances, so I just went ahead about that and I do really like it. So if you guys want to see a video on clip ins versus statements, I'd love to do that, because I've worn clip ins for years before this. So I can kind of go over some pros and cons if you're trying to decide what you want to do and then also, if you want to see in depth how I care for my extensions and what I use on them, how I blow-dry that and watch Them all that I love to do that too. So, if you guys are interested in those videos, just leave a comment down below and if you have any questions, I'd love to answer them in the comments as well. So thanks for watching guys,

Cathy Cruz: I ordered the Zala tape extensions in December and I just love how they came out as well!! Very soft and thick to the ends. I got the 20" in dark brown and wore them for 6 wks. The only reason I took them out was to cut my natural hair, which needed it so bad. I could have left them in for another 4 wks since they held up so well. I also took them to my hair dresser, she charges $99 an hr and it took a little more than an hr to put in 14 sets and cut to blend. I love how you mixed colors, I just ordered more last week in a different color to mix as well.

ZALA HAIR EXTENSIONS: Such a lovely review! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and tips! <3 Lots of love, the ZALA team xxx

Kaala Powers: I think it just depends on where you go for pricing! My lady does them by the hour instead of by the extension.

Candace Call: I'll be getting my Hot heads put in on Saturday ! I'm excited to see how the hot heads are compared to the Zala!

Afton Strain: Hey girl - wasn't sure if you were still responding to comments on here. I currently have tape ins by Perfectress and thinking about getting some from Zala but, have some questions. Did you have problems with shedding or thinning after washing/brushing? The hair on the extensions seems to tangle and knots easily and therefore, pulls out when I brush them. How many times did you reuse your extensions? How well would you say the actual tape holds up in comparison to others that you have used? Anything you can tell me would be super appreciated! :)

Allie Riggin: Hi, not sure if you will get this msg after all this time....but I was wondering if you continued to do tape ins or if you went back to clip ins and whether or not you were able to put your hair into a pony tail without the tapes showing easily?

selene doran: what's your instagram? I need pics to show my stylist exactly how I want my hair!
