♥ MUSIC by YouTube’s Free Audio Library: "Venice Beach" - Topher Mohr & Alex Elena

Hi, I'm Christine welcome back to 52 weeks of beauty. Today'S video is going to be a little bit more about tape and hair extensions. It'S going to be blow-drying your hair with tape and hair extensions in cut and layering your hair with extensions in flat ironing, styling, curling and so on. I know I promised you guys a removal process, video for tape and hair extensions. In my last two weeks, videos. I promised that it would be this week and I just need one more week. I have another idea that I wanted to make sure I tried out, because I have tried out so many things and I want to make sure that I try everything. So I feel good about putting out the video, so I'm giving you guys the absolute best removal process, information that I know about, so I promise promise promise next week for sure. So anyway, in this video I am going to show you i layered my hair before when I put it in, I just put the three wefts in. It was pretty much all one length and I just feel like this is a little bit more natural because I actually have like short layers right here at my own hair, and I wanted to kind of create a more flowing look um. So you definitely can get your haircut. You know at salons to things like that, but I am just really picky and afraid some time so I like to do it on my own hair um and I just feel like it's a little bit. You know hair extensions or Parsi as it is, and if you go somewhere, they don't do it right you're. Just like oh my gosh. Now I have to start all over. So I feel like this is better. I feel like I'm like more in control. I guess so. I want to show you how I cut and layer my extensions, and I also um you know just a little bit more about you know: blow-drying your hair with them in and things like that, how they look when they're wet. How does it look when the wind hits it? You know all of those questions that I know I had in the beginning, so I hope I can answer some of those for you guys. So let's go ahead and get started okay. So this is how my hair looks right when I get out of the shower, so if you're wondering how your hair will look wet with tape and extensions here, you go, and this is what we look like at the beach or the pool or anything like that. After you underwater come out, I think it's very undetectable and I love that part, I'm using Bumble and Bumble and heat protectant and then I'm going to use Carol's Daughter, black vanilla. It'S a leave-in protein treatment that I really like and I'm going to go ahead and comb through or brush through my extensions, I always hold the end of my hair halfway through while I'm combing the bottom. So I don't tug on the tape too much um. You want to try to do that as little as you can. I am I'm also combing over the extensions you'll see. I try not to go super hard with a brush right over the tape, but I do let the brush go over it too, and now I'm going to blow-dry my hair, as I mentioned before, I actually do blow-dry my hair upside down you'll see in a second When I blow-dry my hair upside down, you can see the tape webs and blow-drying doesn't actually damage laughs at all or anything. It'S just kind of you know. The flow of your natural hair upside down straight up doesn't really matter how you blow-dry your hair and I think it's fine to even if the blow dry heat gets a little bit on the tape left. Obviously, you don't want to hold it right on there, but I think it's totally fine if it touches it just like it would your normal hair, okay. So now I'm just blow-drying my hair back up straight again and on my last video on the tape and hair extensions. A user by the name of Cammy 3 had love to comment asking if the wind would affect the tape and like show through and all of that if you were outside on a windy day. So here you can kind of give an idea about that. I don't seem to see it at all, so I really do believe. The tape is kind of hidden, very well. Cam III had said she was using the micro bead extensions and on a windy day of really really embarrassing because they would show through. So I think the reason the tape doesn't actually show through is because your own hair is actually you know, taped onto the tape weft. So it's just really um. I don't know it just it hides it just naturally that way. Just by this you know application or this way of doing extensions. Okay, so now I'm getting ready to flat iron, my hair, I'm just going to brush through my hair after I blow-dry it, and then I'm going to go ahead and spray more prep solution, because he is going to be on there again and nothing fancy here. Just straightening my hair and you're not going to get like too close to the tape left. Don'T worry about that! It'S almost like impossible to do so, just kind of straightening, my hair, all the way around. I use a brush to kind of straighten it out and pull with the straightener. At the same time, then I grab my rock your hair hairspray by Michael O'Rourke. I kind of put it. You know just above where the tape is, and then I just kind of check everything out and sometimes use a brush just to kind of make. It blend just a little bit halfway down, and this is just kind of my straight style, and I just have it all one length. You could also put your hair up in a clip I'll show you real, quick. What I mean if you were to go like that, so you can do a lot with it. Okay, so now we're going to start the process of cutting and layering my tape and hair extensions. I put plastic bags on the floor just to catch any hair and right now, I'm just separating the very top part of my head um and the bottom, because I am going to start with the very top section. So this is the first weft of hair. The tape in along with my own hair, at the very top now I know how long my hair is. It'S not very long, so be careful. If you do have longer hair, you might want to be like I don't know how short you want your first layer to be, but I'm going to do two layers and then just keep the bottom for length and not cut that. So now I'm going to go ahead and make sure I grab some paper towels and lay it all over the sink area. You know I put the plastic bags on the floor. Just to you know, catch any hair too, but in the end I'll go ahead and gather all that up and throw all the hair up. I am starting my first layer, probably a good two inches below my actual hair, so I'm going to cut it straight across. It doesn't have to be perfect, but you just want to go ahead and make it somewhat even and then the reason it doesn't have to be perfect is because you know how hair normally is really thin on the end. So it's kind of the look we're going for so we're just going to go ahead and just cut up vertically and again doesn't have to be precise. Just keep going going going, probably an inch or two and length, but you're. Just kind of cutting up in between is, you know as much as I can to make it more natural. Then I grab a few of the strands in front and kind of go up just a little bit and take up a little bit more because the framing around my face needs to be a little bit thinner because I feel like that will just look a little Bit more natural also, you want to make sure you're really careful when you choose your first layer because there's no going back once you cut across, that's it so start a little bit longer than you feel comfortable with. You can always take up just a little bit more also. I am using my favorite scissors from Sally Beauty Supply. You want to make sure you get a really nice pair of scissors too, so you get a really nice cut when you're trying to layer. Okay. So now I'm done with my first layer from now and I'm going to go ahead and take out that little bun that I created I'm going to secure the top area that I just finished and I'm going to find my second left and I'm going to go Ahead and separate that secure the bottom back into a little bun and then I'm going to separate the hair again that I'm going to cut so now. This is the middle layer of hair and I'm going to do the same things and I'm going about two inches below where I did the last one, maybe an inch and a half fish somewhere in there and then I'm going to you know, go up with the Scissors again just kind of making it really light and doing that to both sides. You, okay, so now that I did my two layers because remember I'm only doing two keeping the bottom. I think two web sacktual II just and for length and thickness. I kind of like it like that just really wanted some top layers to blend with my own natural hair. Okay, so now you can see that my layers are very noticeable so they're very, even though I did trim them up, they're still very kind of like straight across, so I'm just going to keep going back through them over and over again. Until I get the look that I want just kind of cut up and just keep, you know grabbing different pieces and going all the way around until I get the really nice flowy natural layered. Look that I'm trying to achieve here. I also think that it's helpful that they're straight across when you bring all your hair back down, so you can kind of see the layers that you're working with a little easier. It also definitely helps you know having wefted rows of extensions, because it's separating everything for you as well, so you can easily find the track or the layer that you're working with to keep working on it. You want to make sure you grab like the very back parts of your. You know row as well too so you're getting everything all the way around. I also like to check my hair in the mirror, just kind of see what I'm working with and if there's any weird pieces, and I'm like. Oh, that I can do those too and then brushing your hair through really helps as well and kind of just going back through and just trying to achieve the. What the look that you're going for with just you know cutting a little bit more trimming hair in there. You definitely can cut your extensions or layer them while they're out of your head before you actually apply the tape to them and everything like that or apply them into your hair after the tape has already applied. That would work as well. I just like doing it. This way, while it's in my own, you know hair head whatever um, just because I feel like it's, you know more natural and it just kind of I can see exactly how it's going to lay with the rest of my hair. Okay. So now I'm happy with the results. Of course, you could keep going more and more and more if you wanted it to be even more blended, but I feel good with this and I'm just going to clean up my mess with my paper towels and throw all the hair away, and then I'm going To go ahead and start curling and styling my hair, with kind of like beachy waves, okay. So now I'm going to go ahead and use my bumble: bumble, prep solution again, take the curling wand point it down and just wrap my hair around it and just keep going around. I don't hold it on there very long, especially after watching that YouTube video. Did you see where the girl fried off her hair by just talking, for I don't know 15 20 seconds and then her when she took her curling iron out, the actual hair had completely fallen off? Oh my goodness, I don't think I'll ever forget about that. Video. Now so obviously don't keep it on too long just a few seconds and just keep going all the way around okay. So here is the finished result, but just being kind like loose waves and yeah. So you can do anything put it behind your ear. You can put it halfway up. Ponytail show some pictures here in a little bit, but basically you can do any style, with tape in hair extensions, they're really flat to your head and they're easy to work with. So I hope you enjoyed this video see you next week.

Ungoliant: Thank you so much for answering! I've watched all of your videos on tape-ins and I'm pretty confident that it'll be the best choice for me. I've had the same kind of experiences with other extension types, so I'm pretty excited to try this out! Thank you for all the help, and keep up the great videos! <3

Christy Allysen: Hi Eva! Thank you so much!! I am using my own brand - Miss Flirty Clip - In Hair Extensions. I cut the clips off and use Walker 3/8" x 3 yards tape to make my own tape wefts. They do not tangle at all for me...I love tape ins!! :)

emdelity: Ahhh!! I am so glad i found your channel! I love your videos, super informal and easy to watch/listen. I can't wait to watch all your videos and by the way you look really fit and I think i saw that you have a fitness/diet video. Can't wait to see how you stay in shape:)

Denise Cardenal: Your videos are absolutely amazing! you've done a great job, thank you so much :)

fairybutterfly1313: Great job! The hair looks so natural.

FreeToLive4Jesus: thank you soo much for taking the time to answer my question..soo helpful and appreciated :) You videos are great! i will try making my own tape in as it cools down here in az. Looking forward to more videos!♥

Christy Allysen: So sweet! And yay! Make sure to watch Week 33 - I am sooo addicted to this way of doing tape ins now!

Jenn Reedy: They look amazing! I'm Soooo afraid to cut my extensions:( But watching you do it has inspired me to try it! I have clip ins, so I guess you would need to mark the wefts so that you know which ones to put where? I'm gonna try it on a crappy set, lol ;) thanks for the video!!!

Christy Allysen: YES! Great question! I do this myself actually sometimes! There usually is plenty of free hair and room in-between the taped parts - so you can definitely add some clip ins for extra volume! :)

DRM: Thanks so much for the video... I got my 1st tape ext.  a few wks ago and love them .Your video shows so many ways I can wear them...and yours are gorgeous !!!!

Christy Allysen: I use to get perms all the time when I was younger! So I hear ya on that! I would suggest perming your hair first without tape in extensions in, and then adding tape to really curly extensions. You would probably like french refined extensions - they are curlier than the bodywave styles. Or - you could ask your hairdresser to perm your extensions while they are not on your head, before you add the tape strips to them...

babygoblins: nice job! you make it look so easy lol, im going to try this, this weekend -from "installing" the extensions to styling them! wish me luck xD

Becca C: I am BEYOND obsessed with this video, you and your hair! You are so unbelievably thorough, it's wonderful! Did you get your extension guys put in professionally or did you put them in yourself? Either way, about long did it take?

Christy Allysen: Thanks!! And, yes, I did change them! I watched Carly Cristman's room decor video..and fell in love with her pillows! Pillows are from Bed, Bath & Beyond, Pier 1 and World Market :)

Christy Allysen: Yes I do have that color! And you can blend easily by putting two diff colors on same weft. Back to back, with sewing, tape or glue. :)

Rhonda Farkas: 1 week ago I got skin wefts taped and glued in. I love them!! I have a question though... Is it possible to get even more volume by adding my clip-in extensions between them? Of course I would be careful not to disturb the ones I had put in by the salon.

Claire McNabb: Thank you so much for uploading these videos. They are very informative. I just got tape in hair extensions five days ago and have yet to wash them, as I was told that I didn't need to wash my hair every other day with these in, but I could tie them back & wash my own hair on the top every other day. And wash the extensions once a week. Perhaps that way I will get more use out of them for longer.I sleep with them in a loose plait at night and then they are a bit wavy the next morning lol. I sometimes find them itchy, it's really annoying. But five years ago I had the sew in wefts and they were also itchy. I got 3 months wear out of them before they were taken out, which was great. I think that the tape ins are more fragile and perhaps may not last as long, but we'll see lol :-)

Christy Allysen: Yes - great question...it does. Absolutely. When my hair grows, the taped part moves down a bit and then after about 4-6 weeks, I take tape out and re-apply higher!

Christy Allysen: 4-10 weeks depending on how you care for them! What tape did you use? I love Walker tape. Make sure you put the tape weft ON your part (on your scalp a bit) and don't condition before you install them - just use a good clarifying shampoo. Also - don't wash your hair for 24-48 hours after installation. Good Luck and plz keep me updated! :)

Christy Allysen: Hi! I wouldn't recommend using a round brush when you have tape ins - in. Round brushes pull a little too much for the tape... And - thank you for the cutting tips! :)

SouthernGirlBeauty: I have been looking into tape in hair extensions for a while now. I usually use clip ins but they have gotten to be too much of a hassle to put in every morning and they hurt my head if I wear them for more than a couple of hours. You have seriously sold me on tape ins. :) Thank you so much! Totally subbing :)

Christy Allysen: Awww- that's great news! Thank you so much for sharing that lil story about the party! It's always so nice when someone compliments you on your hair (extensions - shh) ;) The name of my company is Miss Flirty Hair and it is real human 100% Remy hair. Love you back! xo! :)

Christy Allysen: Awww- that's great news! Thank you so much for sharing that lil story about the party! It's always so nice when someone compliments you on your hair (extensions - shh) ;) The name of my company is Miss Flirty Hair and it is real human 100% Remy hair. Love you back! xo! :)

MiaMia Mama: Great video keep making more! Looking forward to the removal one.

Christy Allysen: Hi! Lately, I have been using John Frieda Full Repair Style Revival Spray right out of the shower and then a pump and a half of Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum. These two together make brushing my hair so much easier! The brush I am currently using is a Ceramic + ion thermal brush by Olivia Garden. I think I got it at Ulta or Sally's...

Christy Allysen: Hi! Yes u can DEFINITELY reuse them! Weft Release will help remove some old glue, but u don't have to remove it all. The old glue will help the new tape stick even better! :) Send me an email if u want even more tips for this. :)

Ebbie Versace: thank you so much!! i cant wait to do this to my own hair!

Christy Allysen: Thank you!! Yes - clip ins would soooo work if you marked them! Love that idea too! :)

FancyFinancewithHeather: There's also ways you can curl or straighten your hair without heat. :) if you put it in a loose braid maybe two then take then out in the morning they will look good! :)

Pippa Swallow: I so love your videos, you have inspired me, ive been using your tape in method for 6 months now, only problem I have is after about 3 washes the top row weft can be seen as my own hair doesn't tend to stay stuck down over the weft to consent it.I've tried using liquid gold glue on top but nothing works. Can you suggest anything. A big thank you, I love your videos they cheer me up :-)

julie jules: you are seriously the best tutorial to watch. you get to the point without being annoying! thank u

Christy Allysen: Yes - anytime I have time to let my hair air - dry - I try to. So much better to not use heat! :)

jillian cordoza: You do such a good job and I followed your directions exactly and I love my extensions. My husband helped me. I love my hair. I'll try to send a pic but I'm pretty low profile. Keep up the good work!!!

Rebecca Read: OMG, I think you may have provided the answers to my prayers!  My hair is so fine, I cannot do a thing with it!  I've tried every type of extension method, but nothing has worked well so far. Glue-in wefts gave the most natural result but made my hair even thinner; I literally tore a weave out after 3 days as it itched so much, clip-ins felt uncomfortable, irritated my scalp and looked bulky, and the "beading" type extensions just showed through as soon as I was in bright light, not to mention just hanging there in unnatural clumpy strands!!  Clip-in ponytails hurt like hell, and I can't even wear 3/4 falls / hairpieces as they tend to be very thick and it's difficult to hide the join-line.  The ONLY thing that has worked for me to date, was applying wefts with water-soluble glue, but I have a pretty busy life, so you can imagine how time-consuming it was to re-apply EVERY time I washed my hair -so I gave up!  Thank you so much for sharing your awesome, inspiring videos!  I can't wait to get started, and I'll let you know how I get on!  Just one question, re the hair itself:  What hair would you recommend?  Human hair I've bought in the past seems to go "puffy" and unmanagable after about 10 days.  I'm in the UK btw. xx

easternhair: Awesome tutorial! Thank you!

kelli patterson: You are by far the best teacher for these hair extensions. I went ahead and tried it. Though I bought the premium hair extensions from Sally and tape as well, they turned out with your step by step help absolutely fab. No one knew at the party we went to I had them in. Just got compliments about how full my hair looked. I bought the tape you have on ebay, and wanted to know your hair extension name again. Is it real human hair? Thanks so much. Love you and your videos.

Caroline Sexton: Here's a tip - If you cut all the weft lengths the same length, then (naturally), when you apply the wefts up your head from the bottom or down from the top, they will be naturally blended into a layered style.  If have an approximate length that you know you want your bottom layer to be, then cut all the pieces the same length as that bottom piece and then apply the others of that same length all over your head and it will be perfectly layered throughout.  The exception for most of us with fine hair is that you will keep two to four wefts that you have angle-cut for the sides of your head in the front to face layer.  This makes it really easy when you remove and reapply over and over again.  And since the front sides are angle-cut, it's simple to identify them when it's time to reapply.

shldiblv: Great tutorial!! Thank you ^_^

Christy Allysen: Hi! Love your main pic! And - I used a 1" curling iron...and thank you :)

Christy Allysen: Thank you so much! I will def be doing a video about hairstyles with tape ins soon! xo!

Elaine Watson: I have tried every hair extension under the sun spending a fortune! I am going to give this type a go I've never seen this way before & you make it look so easy. Going to look for the tape now. Hope you keep your videos coming shame I you only do the 52. Will you be doing any updos with them in? My mum & Dad are renewing their wedding vows (40years ) & since I will have these extension by then it would've be nice to have it up. Subscribed so keep them coming. x

Jenn Reedy: That's "changed" them! Lol... And this video is great!! I'm loving the "tape in" method!!! :) thank you!

Christy Allysen: Yay! That's awesome! I can't wait to hear what you think! Please make sure you watch both FAQ videos before beginning...I hope you love them as much as I do! :)

Lucy Hollingdale: When you use a flat iron or curling iron on the tape extensions how close is a safe distance from the tape for the heat? :) x

passionist: you really opened my eyes with this method i am going to do this tomorrow, and i was looking for another method and this is exactly what i was looking for this is even better then sandwiching it bc this helps your grow out just blend in and you cant see the tracks trough it just awsome, i was so desprate i want it too gleu it almost but this is iiiiiiit!!!! love your hair love you and for sharing this with us loveeeeees !! :)))

Ungoliant: I've been using extensions for a little over a year and a half now, and I always told myself, "Only until my hair grows out!" ... A year and a half later, it hasn't grown out at all... Granted, a lot of it has probably been from me damaging my hair more than I should have, but I'm going to stay away from damage as much as I can... I've never used Tape-ins, but I'm planning to start some time this month. One question - Does natural hair have room to grow with these extensions in?

Caitlin Little: I tried clip-ins, micro-beads, and glue in and I didn't really care for any of them, but I think I might just try the tape since you can wear them up and they look really natural. Thanks for the video!

Christy Allysen: I have never tried a razor comb - sounds like it would be fab though for diy extension trims!

Christy Allysen: Awww that was so sweet - thank you TONS!! :)

ARI: Best video on tape ins ever!! Thank you!

Pippa Swallow: Your amazing, you have all the answers thankyou sooooo much x

Christy Allysen: Hi! You may want to stagger them towards the bottom (instead of just straight across) - so your real hair is nicely mixed in.

Christy Allysen: Oh yay! That makes me so happy to hear!! Thank you for letting me know and I am SO HAPPY you like them! :)

Christy Allysen: Yes you can! And, thank you! Let me know how they turn out if you try it! :)

Christy Allysen: Hi! Yes - if you straighten curly/wavy extensions - then wash them...they will be curly/wavy again afterwards. When they get wet - they will go right back to how they were originally. And - yes I think they will blend. Just make sure you get curly if your natural hair is REALLY curly. If it is only wavy - then a bodywave type would be perfect for you!

Maria Borglund: Really smart! :) thanks for the vid <3  Beautifully done ^^

Libbybaby: this is fantastic video thankyou so much! :) x

Katlyn Alleman: Love the video it helps a lot

jo jo w: I still love the 80's long, big permed hair. My hair is a little wavy as well as my (18") extensions. Can I perm my hair and them and get this fabulous look? Salons are afraid to do anything fabulous. Do I do them separately, while I'm wearing them? Also, this may be a silly questions but how do we know when we need new extensions?

DiiJiiGii: In another video you said to be cautious with the hair for the first week, should we wait past the first week to do any trimming like this?

Astyn Buckland: can you tie your hair into a ponytail with just a hair tye with tape in extensions? Does it disturb the wefts or show through?

FancyFinancewithHeather: If you want you can use other things to curl your hair with instead of hot tools. That really messes with you actual hair. Try using curlformers. I put them in before school and slightly wet them then blowdry them and I get a perfect curl that I can brush out to make a cute wave look. Love your videos! :)

Yasmin Ben Achour: you're amazing, smart and gorgeous :-)

Christy Allysen: LOVE hearing that - thank you so much!! :)

Christy Allysen: You are SO sweet! I REALLY want to do more fitness/diet/protein videos and I plan to soon! Just in a tape in craze right now. ;) Thx for the sweet comments! :)

Christy Allysen: Only scrub your scalp where you don't have tape...and pat/gently rub shampoo and conditioner onto tape in area. Then, you will be fine! The major tips are not getting your hair wet 24-48 hours after install and always holding your hair extensions while brushing/pulling. That way they will stay in longer!

Christy Allysen: Thank you Kyle.. that sounds hard - lol but I may try it that way sometime if I am feeling courageous! ;)

Christy Allysen: Thank you so much - that is so sweet of you to say!! :)

Genia Ginevan: HI love your videos I have a qiuestion My hair dresser told me he would have to throw my extensions away and put in brand new ones..They have only been in for 2 1/2 mos. I am so glad I watched this as I was told I could nor reuse them because the tape is gone. haha I will order me some new tape and do it my slf..also he put super glue in them how do I get the glue out...with the Jamician Dream Glue remover?

Jenn Reedy: 1st of all, I LOVE your BED! The pillows are gorgeous! You hanged them from the last vid? I've been looking for them, lol ;)

Christy Allysen: You wash your hair like normal. :) The conditioner does not make them slip out at all. I even use the Macadamia conditioner and 3 Minute Aussie Conditioner. The tape stays in! :)

Yasmin Ben Achour: how long do these taped in extensions last on your hair?and also I have curly hair how close to the tape I can get to? Thanks

Christy Allysen: Hi - thank you tons!! And - I own this company...Miss Flirty Hair Extensions. Sold on eBay, Amazon and Etsy! :)

Victoria Anderson: Will it damage the tape if you brush it back into a ponytail often?

Christy Allysen: Yes you certainly can re-use! Especially if you get a very high quality Remy... Maybe not "forever"...but certainly for many months...

Christy Allysen: Yes - you would want to soak the sticky part of the weft in Weft Release for a few hours or overnight - to get the remainder stickiness off...

Christy Allysen: Yes - it probably would have...I have razor cut in the past too - it works great. Next time I will! ;)

Mimishor Mimi: Thank you very much! I will try them.

Christy Allysen: Hi - I am so sorry for the delay... If they are starting to show - I would suggest you have them re-done, so they are up again higher. I usually re-do mine after 4-6 weeks...bc my hair grows too and makes the top easier to see.

Christy Allysen: Yes - that is correct. One sticky side is exposed...but a few hairs adhere to the top sticky part...helping to conceal the weft when the wind blows. :)

Lizette Reyez: omg I'm amazed with your videos. I just order my tape on ebay and now I'm going to sally's to check on the hair weft prices. I just need you to help me with one thing. my hair is naturally curly. should I get curly hair weft or straight? thanks and hope to hear from you soon!!!!

Christy Allysen: Awesome! Let me know how it goes for you! :)

Christy Allysen: Thank you so much, you are so sweet! :)

FreeToLive4Jesus: hi..i have a question ..I love to use coconut oil in my hair kind of lika a treatment especially at my roots, can i still do this with tape in extensions? or will the oil break down the glue on the tape? if i cant use them it on the root do you think using on the length of the hair would be alright? Thanks for your help :) ♥

Christy Allysen: Hi! Oil does break down the tape - but you have to fully satarate the taped areas and wait for 30-60 minutes for it to actually start lifting the tape from your hair. So - if you are VERY careful to only get your roots, then I would say it's ok...but I probably wouldn't if I were you. Just the ends would be best while you have tape ins in. When you take them out - give your hair an overnight oil treatment and then re-apply tape ins a day or two later. :)

Mimishor Mimi: Hi. I was wondering what hair brush do you use. I have long freezy hair and it's very hard to find a brush which doesn't ripp out half of my hair each time I wash it. Any suggestion is welcomed. Thank you!

Elizabeth Davies: I loveeeeee this new idea I just cut my hair 3 months ago and now I miss my long hair I'm gonna try your técnic

Christy Allysen: Thank you so much! :)

Christy Allysen: I used 4 double wefts (some were 1/2 wefts next to each other...but 4 rows total) :)

Veronica Soto: Wow this has sold me on tape ins .. Thanks so much .. I am a new be.. Used clip on b4.. Needed something more.. Can u talk about blending with shorter hair .. Ugh.... So glad I found you

Eva Mejia: Hi, i want to say, your video is by far the best! what kind of hair extensions do you have in your hair. Also, I think tape ins are the best for me. right now i have clip ins, and would like to have them in all the time, so Im thinking of tape ins. I see yours don't tangle when out of the shower. I have never shampooed mine in my hair, I wash them alone, separate. I would like to know which ones you are using, and any tips on tape ins. thanks eva

Lindsay Cook: what about blow drying with a round brush? I have wavy hair so i blow dry with a round brush to straighten and dry at the same time

georgie92782: Is it better to do the one inch wefts or normal sizes ? Thanks

cat lawson: I'm also in cosmetology school. I recommend using Ultra Tress Extensions or Hot Heads. Usually you have to be a licensed Hot Heads stylist to buy them. But, I've seen them on Amazon. Maybe have a salon with the hair swatches match your color before ordering them? And if your putting tape onto a weft, I recommend Pro Flex II. Most importantly, READ MANUFACTUORS INSTRUCIONS. Many bonds will break down with sulfates or alcohol that's found in your shampoo.

roxy0144: Thank you !!!

Loretta Catron: Have you used smaller wefts? My extensions I bought are 2 inches wide Can you or have you done a video with that size? Just curious as to how many across

Kyle Minns: When you layer extensions you should never blunt cut like you did just because its harder to blend out the lines a easy way to blend them is take small 1 in vertical sections an start slide cutting from were your natural hair ends an the extensions start. you get an even blend much faster

tuanikivale4114: So does heat from the flat iron ruin the tape ?

Christy Allysen: 4-6 Weeks. Maybe a bit longer - if you are careful with them :) And the tape rests right on your hair line...is that what you mean?

Christy Allysen: Yippee!! That is so awesome to hear!! Let me know if u have any questions :)!
