Undetectable Tape In Extensions | Ywigs

Tape-in hair extensions (also known as adhesive hair extensions) have become extremely popular due to their easy application method. Tape-in hair extensions are thinner in application which some individuals may find more comfortable. If well taken care of, hair extensions can be reused many times by replacing the tape adhesives. Tape-In hair extensions are held in place by double-sided tape that is applied by placing two pieces of the adhesive tape together, with your natural hair sitting in between. The process can take minutes without any prior experience with extensions.

Hey guys welcome back today we're going from shoulder length, still pressed 4c hair to waist length in just two hours by using tape in extensions that blends perfectly with our 4c hair texture, so we're going to be using taping extensions from why wigs.com. This is my third time using y wigs. Their hair is absolutely gorgeous. I'Ve used them for micro links, um with kinky straights and with curly hair, and we're going to be trying a different texture today, which is the ayaki straights. So i have three bundles of that. Tapings yaki straight in 22, 20 and 18 inches, and this is what the texture looks like. So the texture feels like in between the kinky straight and silky brazilian type of texture, okay, so it's not too um silky and it's not too coarse. It'S just perfect and it's going to blend with our 4c hair, so i already have sectioned the leave out. We leave our hair in the perimeter and also in the side part and um yeah. So that's what we're going to do, and this is what the tape ins section of the extension look like they're already pre-sectioned for you, because you're going to be needing two tapings for one part, as you can see, there is two tapes taping extensions kind of like Glued into one, but you could easily just separate it, so they already kind of sectioned it out for you um to make the tapings sandwich. I know i said sandwich but you're gon na see how i install it it's similar to when you're making a sandwich but yeah. They are very easy. Oh tell me, you tell me, tell me so after the first taping row i leave here in between, and i just start parting like in a smile direction. So yeah, that's basically what i'm doing until i get to the part, which is the side part that i'm doing for her today. Okay, guys, i want to add that if this is something that you are new to um before you install the tapings, make sure that your hair is dry and there is no product. Do not add any oils do not add any any type of product at all. Um make sure your hair is clean and um still press, because the texture of the extension is straight so it has to blend, and the color of your hair has to blend with the extensions as well. So just make sure your hair is clean and don't use any products. Um, i'm going to show you what i applied to my scalp when i was done after installing the tapings, because i was very mindful i didn't want to put any oils so that the the tapings don't slide out like while i'm installing it um yeah. So i'm just basically going in a small direction and just leaving here in between and um yeah, i'm going to show you guys how to take it down in case you're wondering how to remove them from your hair, because they're very safe to remove as well watch These videos, to the end and i'll show you how to take them down so and you guys can see how her hair, just like blends into the tapings extensions again, because the texture matches her hair. The color matches her hair, so yeah so um. So i'm going to be using african shea butter on her scalp because her scalp is dry and i didn't want to use any oil that will run into the tape the tapings and make them come out. But this african shea butter, as you can see just um the color, is yellow, but it's going to melt as you can see how it melted on my skin. It'S going to dissolve! So that's why i applied to her scalp after putting the tape in the extensions, because i didn't want my hands to be greasy while i was making the taping sandwich sandwich, so i went ahead to curl them to style them and make them look nice. So, as for the maintainers first, how long you can wear them? You could wear the tape ins for five to eight weeks, and can you wash your hair with them? Yes, you can wash your hair with them, but i'm going to warn you that it's going to be a tedious process. If you're going to wash your hair by yourself, especially if you have 4c hair, because your hair has to be straight for you to wear this. Because the extensions are straight, so it has to blend for it to look natural, okay, um. If you don't want to wash it by yourself, you could go to the salon and have someone wash it for you and straighten your hair um, but yeah um. You could just treat it like you treat your hair and you'll be fine. So this is the finished, look it's so beautiful nice and full voluptuous and just gorgeous um. So if someone sees her they'll think oh, she has like sewings on and nope not sewing. This is basically just adding more volume and length to your natural hair and yeah. I absolutely love it, so she could do like a low ponytail, because the hair in the back of her head is like shorter, so she can't really do like a high ponytail. So a little ponytail will be good, but um yeah. I love the results, so this is um tapings yaki straight from y wigs.com, make sure you check them out and um yeah. So now let me show you guys how to take them down. Uh you
