What'S up y'all welcome to my channel, my name is stephanie. I go by step, i go by saying it does not matter um in this video. I am showing how i installed tape in extensions on my hair. This is from my brand shop saying the brand, and these are 20 inches 22 and 24 inch kinky straight tape ends when it comes to tape ends you have to get a texture that matches your hair, i'm natural, i don't have any relaxer permit my hair, so Kinky straight is the best texture, as you can see it blends literally right in, like it looks just like your red hair, so um yeah. I would definitely say this doing your own hair with taping. Is it's definitely not for the week you got to have arm strength and mental strength, because it was a challenge, but i did the best. I could i like it as you can see how full and natural it looks um. Let me stand up a little bit. Stay in the camera, but i'm five foot eleven. So i am tall and this is how 24 inches look on me. It'S pretty much to my waistline! So yeah, it's um lightweight, it's versatile yeah and i love it. I think it's so pretty and i'm ready to style it. I didn't really put like no hot press on it. I just wanted to strain my hair out, but i'm about to go in and style it as y'all will see in the next video. But if you like what you see - and you want to see my struggle child because i was struggling, if you want to see my scrub on high install it on myself, then stay tuned for the rest of the video feeling young. But they treat me like the og and they want the t on me. I swear these knows. You said he so what's up y'all, this is my first voice over so bear with me. So basically i flat out my hair and what i'm doing now is sectioning. It off and in the front i pretty much just go back over and put it all in one ponytail and in the back i'm going to do the same as well, but in the back i will pull out my leave out to cover my track. So your leave out varies upon your hair density, so yeah all right. So basically, i'm braiding down my leave out to get it out the way. So i can go ahead and get started on the tape in extensions all right. So in this clip, as you can see, i skipped to the front. The back was extremely hard because i could not see, but i was on a time schedule so i just said: let me just do what i can do for right now. So i skip to the front basically the front: you do the same thing with your leave out. The front is going to have more leave out than the back, because you're going to be parting, your hair in the front different ways. So you want that versatility. But if you're going to just wear one style, then you know you won't have as much leave out, but the front to me is the most important because that's the top of your head, that's what everyone is going to see. You can easily hide the back of your head, so that's what i'm doing now, i'm just placing the extensions on that on the part and then it just sandwich it in you put the extensions a little bit of your real hair, your natural hair, and then you Put another extension on top of it, and then you take the hot flat iron or whatever, and just press it on a real light. Don'T just mush it together, just real light for a little bit of heat and that's it and you just do the same thing over and over and over again. So it's a very simple task. It'S just very tedious. So i guess that's why it's so expensive with the stylist, because it's tedious, but it's very, very like redundant. You know what i'm saying like anybody can do this. You can do this on yourself. Obviously i'm doing it on myself. I look. I look crazy as hell, but i'm doing it also in the front make sure you divide your extensions off evenly meaning i had 20 and 22 inches, of course, on the 24 way in the back, but i divided it evenly. So one side will not be thicker than the other, so that's how you keep a natural look to your hair is make sure you're you're putting the same amount each side when it comes to the front of your head. So oh
