The Most Natural Looking Wig Ever | Her Given Hair | How To Make Wig Look Natural

Everyone welcome to my channel for today's video. I will be showing you all my first experience with my first actual wig that was sent to me by her giving hair once I removed the packaging. This is the box that the actual wig is in it's a matte black box with her given hair and iridescent colors, as well as they have their contact information on the back of the box. So as soon as you open the box, as you all can see, the wig is right there with some instructions, I'm just going to move that out the way and I'm going to show you everything else, that's in the box. First, the first thing I notice is an additional 12 dollars of my next purchase. I will leave a link below in the description box to their website, so you all can check them out. They have some really good deals going on right now for Black Friday, so make sure you check them out as well as I received a wig instruction book now. This book right here is definitely the Bible. This wig, I really needed this. I mean it gives you beginner friendly steps on how to care and manage for the wig how to install the wigs how to color the wigs everything that you could possibly think of is inside this manual. Then, if you have any questions or concerns that you don't see in this manual, you can definitely contact their customer service number, which is linked to their website. I'M just removing a small peg that came inside with the wig now this letter right here is just some information for me, but inside this package you do receive some additional items that can help you customize your wig, how you see fit so inside this package. You will get a black elastic hair band, two additional clips as well as three small black clips, and you can add this to your weight for more security. If you feel like it's necessary, although I don't think you need it, but these additional items do come along with the wig as well addition to those items, you will also receive a product description car. So if you see any discrepancies, make sure that you contact her given hair before you manipulate any of the products. So now, let's unpackage this wig, when I first took it out the package, I didn't even realize that it had a net around it. So I'm just removing the net from the wig that's holding the heads together, so I can show you the wig in its natural state. So this wig is a 3 B, 3 C textured, curly wig and it's very dense. The curls are beautiful. This comes in a natural color. You also can choose what color you like one. You are on their website, but I just want to show you all what the wig and what the curls look like before. I did any manipulation to this wig. So here you can see that the wig already comes with three clips installed, as well as an elastic headband. So I'm just looking over the wig checking out the cap to see if there's any holes or straggling strings or anything like that, and I don't see if the wig is nicely well put together, so make sure that you check all that out as well. That'S important because that is the foundation to the wig, and we want this wig to last us for a long time. So you want to make sure that you check out those things. So also you see here is a lace front to the closure, and I just want to show you all everything that's inside since I was planning on cutting the hair, I did purchase a Styrofoam head as well as a ball clamp joint to connect to a table. Just so I can secure the wig while I'm styling it and cutting it. I felt that this was very necessary for me being beginning friendly. This was under $ 10 and I purchased it from a local beauty supply store. So here is the unwashed hair on the mannequin. Let'S get this mannequin a name, that's called a shelf because I don't want to keep saying man again, so here's the unwashed hair on Shelby, I'm just showing you all that it already comes with bangs. Now the banks are slightly long, so you can customize it to your face. It also has the lace closure at the top, which you all can see, and it does come with a part. You can move your part to that side or that side when you are styling the hair. Now this wig does not is not seamless around the sides. So if you want to put the hair up, you will have to bring out some of your natural hair, or you can just you know, have some curls hanging down on the side. So you can't see that demarcation of the wig to your hair, so Shelby is just going to give you all a little Ricci to show you all what the curls look like before I start to wash it so I'm gon na speed through these next few clips. I'M just washing the hair by following the instructions that came inside the wig instruction manual. You definitely want to make sure that you keep that book handy, so you can always go back and refer to any information that you need about your wig. So initially I just co-wash the hair. I didn't use any shampoo, but I did have to go back a second time and actually shampoo and condition this wig only because it was my fault. I was a little too heavy-handed with the styler that I used the first time and my curls came out super defined on the wig. That wasn't really the look that I was going for. I wanted to wear the wig very big, very curly, but I want a lot of volume. I didn't want my curls tight and super defined, so I did go back again like I said, and shampoo and condition the hair for the second time. I will show you all what the define curls look like later on in the video, but just know that you do not need to use a lot of styler to get your curls to pop with this wig. It will pop up on its own trust me now. If you don't know what products to put inside your wig or you think the products that you have may be harmful, her given hair do provide a list of recommended products inside the wig instruction book. That'S why I told you that book is very important, so make sure you keep that book with your wig, but they do provide a list of products that they recommend that you use inside the wig. Now you don't have to, but they do recommend these products. If you are unfamiliar on how to care for your wig, so I'm just going to wrap the wig up inside this cap and let it sit for about 15 minutes with the conditioner in it before I go in and detangle. So, within about 20 minutes - and I'm just gon na run a little bit of water over top of the wig just to reactivate the conditioner, that's in it before I go in and actually detangle now. What I'm looking for with this wig is how much shedding this wig is gon na give me, as I'm detangle in the hair. Now I do expect some shedding because I mean I'm getting shedding with my own hair detangler, it's curly hair, so you expect some type of shedding, but we don't expect a lot of shedding. So that's what I'm looking for just to see how much shedding this wig is gon na give me. So I will show you all what that looks like once. I'M finished detangling so once I was completely finished, detangling the entire wig. This is how much shedding I received in my comb, as well as in the sink right there. So I don't think that that was a lot you all. Let me know in the comment section below like I said I was expecting some shedding because that's what she's supposed to get with curly hair. So here I'm just rinsing out the conditioner. I do like to leave a little bit in and now I'm gon na start styling the hair, I'm just placing some t pins inside of Shelby's Scout just to hold the wig on. So I can go ahead and style. It now the style of choice that I'm going to use for this wig. It'S Camille Rose, Moisture milk. I want my curls to be soft and voluptuous, and that is the only product that I will be placing inside this week. I don't want to wear the wig down with anything heavy, so I just wanted something light and airy so that the hair will flow. The way that I wanted to so technically, since this was actually my second time styling Shelby, I decided to place her under the dryer for at least an hour to let her fully dry. So I can go in with cutting and styling this wig. The way that I wanted to look so from my natural hair, I actually just put some large jumbo flat twists in my hair, because I'm not really good with corn rollin and that's the thing that I like about this wig as well. I'M not wearing the wig straight, so I don't need my cornrows underneath or my flat twists, underneath to be completely flat to my head. So you don't see any lumps by this being a natural curly, haired wig. I can have my hair looking any type of way. Underneath this wig - and you won't know it because the hair is so big - you do want to make sure that you moisturize, as well as take care of your hair underneath the wig, because we don't want any breakage of our natural hair. So the wig looks and feel very soft. The way that I wanted to look at the curls is still popping and very defined, so I'm gon na go ahead and place the wig on my head. The first thing I'm going to do is make sure that the strap is adjusted to the way that I want it to fit my head and then I'm gon na lace in the clips inside my hair as well. So I'm gon na first start with the clip in the back and then I'm going to adjust the two on the side. So this is what the wig looks like before. I start to frame it to my face and I think it looks really nice. I love a curly hair with the bangs. I just think it looks really nice, so the curls are still popping as you all can see, and I didn't even add a lot of product to it. The curls came right back so, as you all can see, as I'm moving my fingers through the hair, you can see the scale a little bit, so I will be fluffing the hair out, but I just wanted to show you all just how full and pretty this Wig is before I start to cut it all up. This is a 3 B 3 C wig, but I do want to show you all that it is slight difference between the closure and the trix at the bottom. The curl pattern you all can see. That is a slight difference, but that is easy, fixable and blendable once you start to add your products and style your hair, but I just wanted to show you all what that looks like it. Actually, only you can only really tell on that one side. You can't even tell on the right side of my hair, but I just want to show you all that it is a slight variation in the curl pattern between the closure and the tracks at the bottom of the wig. In the beginning, I was so nervous to cut this wig. I did not want to mess it up. I was so scared that I was gon na, get scissor happy and cut too much off or just make it look a hot mess. So I was very nervous, but I'm just sliding the scissors down the curls to make it fit the frame of my face and I think it turned out so beautifully if only my real hair could act like this. I would be on point, but but it turned out really nice, so I'm just using the scissors to frame my face and then I'm gon na actually take the wig off to cut more layers in the back of my head, since I cannot see it well. This is the final results. Once I finish, cutting up the hair, I did chop the bangs a little bit just so I could see, but I absolutely love it. The curls are so soft. The wig is still full. I mean it's gorgeous. The curls are poppin. Like look at it, I love it. This is the cut that I actually went for my natural hair, so I'm gon na show you all what the wig looked like when I told you that I added a lot of the product before the style was very heavy. In the hair - and this is what the hair looked like prior, so this was the first time that I styled it. As you can see, the wig is not really moving that much and don't really have that much life, it's still cute, but it's not moving the way I wanted to vs. this. I love it.
