How To Remove Tape In Extensions | Step By Step | Her Pro Series

Hey guys welcome back!

In todays video I’ll be showing you guys how to remove tape in extensions with a tape adhesive spray remover. When doing this you want to make sure you don’t move to fast and just take your time when removing the wefts. Someone mentioned after they had theirs removed they felt soreness in they’re scalp, tugging or pulling the tapes apart without properly loosening the adhesive or strands of hair will cause tension and damage to the hair so it’s important to make sure you get you extensions installed by someone that has been (trained) in the install you receive.

Tape Extensions: Her Pro Academy

Hey guys, i'm going to be using the her extensions today to show you this removal. So, as you can see, i'm spraying the tape, extension removal spray and i'm going to use this to try to loosen up the adhesive. You spray the top and underneath and then you'll just kind of take your fingers and rub them across to try to work in that spray to loosen up that adhesive a little bit so that it'll make it easier to remove the tape extension once you've done. That, then, you can take. If you have pointed nails, you can take your nail across that tape extension to try to get in between and loosen up that weft a little bit so that it comes apart or you can take the end of the rat tail. Comb and gently put it in there and slide it across because you want to just try to loosen up that adhesive so that you don't cause any tension to the natural hair. Once you loosen up that adhesive, then you can just peel the tape. Extension apart gently again so you're not tearing up the natural hair, you just slowly pull it apart, because you don't want any hair to be on the tape extension now when you've had these in for a while, it is common for some hair to be hair strips To be in there because of the natural hair shedding, but you don't want any extra in there so right here, i'm just taking my nail again and i'm just loosening up some of that hair. The hair strands that are attached to that adhesive and you want to be gentle gentle when you're doing this, you don't want to cause any discomfort to the client. Take it apart and i like to use the tip of my nail, but sometimes you might find it easier to use the end of the rat tail comb and you never want to just take the tape, extension and pull it from the client's hair. Because you will cause damage if you do not loosen up those hair strands off of the adhesive first
